Came in well and has officially sprouted! I put it in soil and the hanging pot I'll be using for this grow. It's a small ~.5 or less gallon pot (tbh not 100% sure), thay I'm reusing from a plant I got at a nursery a while back.
I thought it'd be neat to try and grow a hanging weed plant so now here we go! Will post when the sprout comes out
Day 1 starts today! We have out bucket head out and starting to go! I'll give it a day or so before I decide if I need to intervene on the shell casing. In the mean time welcome to the grow show!
Cheers til next time

The first week has gone well and now we are looking at week 2. Good strong growth right now and is looking great. My goal over the next weeks is to get this guy ready to be trained and ready for flower!
We have 2 weeks under our belt and now we're charging into week. So far each day I can see more new growth which is encouraging. With a few more nodes in the next day or so I'll look at topping.

We are ROARING into week 4. It's time for our first feed, and I can't wait yo see how this plant comes along. This will be the last week of veg and this coming Friday will be the start of flower!
So far we haven't done much feed besides the soil itself and now its time to give her a boost. It's also time for a name so that is gonna be nice too 😁.
For the time being though, we are gonna do a feed with Dr. Earth, monitor development and then move on over to the flower tent.
Really excited to see how the small pot plant comes out after flowering!
Cheers, til next time

Well the pas week has been a lot! We had some dehydration issues, did some defolitation, and additional LST to prep for flower. Starting today, this plant has been kicked into the flower tent and will be starting its journey!
Before we went to flower, I gave this guy 1tbsp of Dr. Earth tomato blend. Over the next week or so we'll be switching to Dr. Earth flower girl.
Cheers til next time!

A tad late, but on Dec 20th we started flower! The pics and video are all from dec 20.
To kick it off we did a small feed (1tbsp) of veg nutrients and over the next few weeks will transition to flower blend.
So far she's taken well to the training and looks very strong overall.

Going onto week 2 of flower! These were taken dec28, so day 8 of flower. So far looking fine though a bit dehydrated. This one definitely is water hungry now and needs to be watered every other day now. We'll see how she comes along into the next few weeks.
D6 of this week (d13 of flower), and we can start to see flowers coming in a teensy bit. We are still watering every 2 -3 days. On D7 we did a slightly premature feed of the flower girl fertilizer.
Cheers

We are going strong and I honestly can't complain. So far this plant has been pretty hard and hasn't suffered much if at all being in such a small pot. I'm keeping an eye on water but every other day or so still works.

We are staring week 4 of flower! Currently at Day 22 and feeling good. The plant is still getting watered every other day and honestly looks great. Looking forward to seeing when this guys starts getting into deep flower.
This week, we doubled the feed to 2 tbsps of the Flower girl. I also have her about 2 tsp of the kelp meal. I think this will be 1 of 2 kelp meal feedings. Going forward we'll be doing some compost tea now and then to support flower and increase the brix of these flowers.
Cheers until next time

We are DEEP onto flower now. Buds are still developing nice and at a steady pace. I was a little worried I'd get herms since my last ILGM grow was canceled because 4 plants hermed, but so far its looking great!
This puts us right around Day 30 of flower and it can't look much healthier. One of the bottom leaves looks to be displaying a small P deficiency, so we will continue feeding at 2 tbsps here of the Flower Girl. However we'll take a break on the kelp meal.
She definitely needs to be watered a tad more frequently, but we are still doing at most one watering a day. Even still, she's doing well and I honestly can't complain. Cheers for the final 3-5 weeks as we watch her put on more weight to these buds.

We are on Day 36 of Flower and going strong! As we are coming to the final weeks of flower, these buds are still immature but are definitely going to be maturing well. Word to the wise, at this stage in the fame you gotta check your plants DAILY (or you might have some unexpected droop 😅😅😅).
Surprisingly we are only watering every other day. I think the Mycorrhizae and the biochar in this soil mix are helping me out a lot here.
Overall feeling really good about this plant. The feedings look fine and she is looking very healthy. Here's hoping for a great rest of flower.

Got super depressed and couldnt keep up with watering this guy. By the time I got around to it, the damage was done. Such is life. But I learned a lot from it. I finally dialed in my feeding regimen, and got to get rid of a ILGM seed I didn't really want anymore. Overall I feel good about it, though I do wish I could've seen her to the end. It is what it is though
