Hello and thank you for stopping by my diary and checking it out. This week I have only watered when dry with a pH of 6.5. My last watering was spaced out about 6 days. I did some low-stress training this week a little later than I wanted to but better late than never. This next coming week I will be doing my first top dress as she has just been living off of the pre-charged time released nutrients that I mixed into her coco before germinating her. I do have very slight gnat larvae issues that the plant is showing via small white spots on the edges and one tip of a big fan leaf. I noticed these splotches on very few leaves but I was still curious on what was going on so I started scratching at the surface of the coco and with my decent vision I could see tiny tiny gnat larvae squirming around in my coco. So I have watered with a deluded neem oil solution and yellow sticky traps are on their way my shop was currently out of them when I stopped by. Other than that small issue I'd say everything is cruising along nice and easy with the purple punch auto from Barney's farm! She's definitely filling out and I am not seeing any signs of pre-flowers quite yet so she still got a ways to go I am so looking forward to this one! I'll see you next week! ☺️

Hey Growmies! I'm thrilled to share my latest project: two exceptional grow environments, each a lush green haven with 9 plants on plant rollers. We’re employing a blend of Scrog (Screen of Green) and Sog (Sea of Green) techniques. Each plant has its individual ScroG, directly connected to its air-pot, facilitating easy mobility and care within the tent. As the Room is on the cooler side at the moment, I've set up a Solea infrared heater, controlled by an Inkbird ITC-308 temperature controller, to maintain a cozy climate. Each tent is also equipped with a Spider Farmer Cool Mist humidifier for perfect humidity levels. Initially, I planned for identical setups in both tents, but adaptation is crucial. I encountered a challenge with the UR45 lights due to their single plug and UV/IR switches. To overcome this, in Tent 1, I’ve installed two UR45 lights: one dedicated to IR and the other to UV, each managed by a Meross smart plug. The Mars Hydro app manages the light and in-line fan controls in Tent 2, though it has its limitations. The ITC-308 takes care of the infrared heater, while the humidifier regulates itself. I'm really into this setup, but I'm already thinking about upgrading to a single grow controller for all devices. Excitingly, ‘Epic Buzz’ in Tent 1 is competing in the Tent-X Ultimate Grow Challenge sponsored by Trolmaster, who has also sponsored a Tent X Controller for this tent. This addition will greatly enhance our control and monitoring capabilities in this tent. This grow season is extra thrilling as I’m collaborating with Anesia Seeds and Ganja Farmer Seeds. The plant was easy to grow overall .. it grew fast and a little on the tall side which had me nervous but I was able to raise the lights up just enough to finish, so it all worked out in the end. buds came out hard and frosty no complaints . This was a freebie seed too! didn’t expect it to come out as fire as it did man was i wrong. Straight fire 🔥 Ran into root rot in the beginning of veg but the great white and hydroguard saved my ass.🙏

I used pipe cleaner to bend them outwards away from the branches above... I'm hoping in the stretch they catch up with the rest...I think the canopy gonna Be fairly level🤔

2024/01/19 : plant looks healthy, 5th node is deploying, I can see 6th, even tiny 7th... so I decided to top. Back to 10 cm... 2024/01/20 : mainlining starts today, 2024/01/22 : ML's going on, watered with elycitor (1 g/L). 2024/01/23 : sprayed with Foliar Spray from B.A.C. last night to help a little 2024/01/24 : blueberry takes all this like a champ, it has 2 bodybuilded main stems. Now waiting for 4th nodes on each stem for 2nd top... 2024/01/25 : watered with molasses (1 mL/L), I can see baby 3rd nodes...😀

I didn't train her this week, I'll do it again next week :-). It was poured twice this week with 1.2 l each time (see nutrient table above for adding nutrients). I sprayed them all with GreenBuzzLiquida Fast Plant spray. I also cleaned the entire tent and checked everyone's health. Fresh osmosis water was prepared and filled into canisters. Yellow boards against flies have been put up and blue tags to prevent trips. Unfortunately I still struggle with them but they have become significantly less pushed. I think in a few weeks the last story should be :-). Otherwise, like every day, they were looked at and petted for a while ;-). Week 9, switching to 12/12, canopy is leveled, plants looks ok, I have 2 monsters turning light green , I will put them on a Feed Water Feed W F... schedule, feeding them more often than the others until they kick back ! I don’t really like this, I might run into a serious Nitrogen deficiency in 3 weeks if I don’t take particular care with these 2 .... they will probably get a lil foliar spray with some N if it doesn’t go well ! The Ztrawberriez Auto is very resistant has a great sweet strawberry smell throughout the garden. As you can easily see from my grow question, I was initially afraid for the plants due to the high temperature in the greenhouse (as soon as the sun shone ~40 degrees). It turned out that the plant seemed to like it and rewarded me with beautiful buds with purple tips. Growdiaries won't let me delete the question otherwise this would have happened long ago... She finished very quickly and took just 70 days from seed to harvest. All this confirms that fastbuds is the right address for autoflowers. I'm already looking forward to the next run. Things going well so far (fingers crossed) I did have a slight problem with a tray and it's pump. Hence why 2 plants smaller then the other 2. However have fixed that (put a new pump in) will keep an eye on them over next couple days..

This week was when I first recognized that there was something wrong.... Initially I only realized that the stems of my little girl were slightly bent downward. In some cases I have experienced this orientation when a plant is exhausted and about to got through its sleeping period but, this seemed different. In the following days I began to notice that the lower leaves were beginning to fade, the stems began to turn red, and still the leaves were bending downward and not praying to the light! At first I just figured that my plant was in need of a feeding and transplanting to a larger container but, after doing a bit of research I realized that the I may have been experiencing a phosphorus deficiency. From my understanding I knew that these plants require nutrients that is high in nitrogen during the vegetative part of its life however, I did not realize that it's still needed an adequate amount of phosphorus in this stage too. As I mentioned perviously, I decided to reuse my soil for this grow and as a result of sterlization my growing medium no longer had any nutrients to offer my plant at the time. I believe this is the reason I began to see signs of deficiencies and going forward if I ever reuse my medium again I will make sure to re-amend it before using it. *I also topped the plant at the 5th node this week as well*

Guys it's been fun

The coco hempy buckets continue to impress. The rate of growth is just insane compared to the conservative nature of hand watered soilless mix. The girls are getting 2 heavy feedings daily, once right before lights on, once at lights off. Responding tremendously. The largest daughter has broken 4 feet this week and hopefully the stretch is coming to a close. Good thing for my headroom. I am having difficulty with humidity this week due in part to the weather, but I feel mostly because of an underpowered ac and mucho transpiration coming from the leaves. Set for second round defoliation in three days and hopefully some break from the heat. Struggling to keep the room under 70 rh right now.
