Start of week 5, the girls are looking promising. Trichome production is in full flow now, leaves and buds getting very frosty. Slowly increasing the EC in 0.1 increments to avoid overfeeding and nutrient burn but still push the genetics. Also added a dehumidifier to help keep the humidity down and in range. Although not a whole lot to do, pH and EC parameters are still very important. Will be checking in, the next few days.

Hello and welcome to week 7 beginning for Nesia, the largest and most advanced 6 week old plant I have ever grown. I update daily so week 6 is now complete. Please do check it out! I have added some comparisons shots of Karen, the oldest girl of this [G2] series to show just how impressive Nesia is. Nesia is 25 days younger than Karen and she is already a larger plant. This diary is not very popular or comment filled right now, but as this grow progresses I really think it's going to gain some attention. Nesia is going to be big. Day 44: Nesia stretching fast now. Day 45: Flowering is going well. I have adjusted the timer such that the main tent is now getting 20/4 upped from 18/6. After monitoring DLI at 18/6 for a week I am unhappy with the overall level but because of the varying heights of the plants I am limited in what I can do in adjusting the light height. Some areas were only getting 20 DLI. So I have rearranged to have the taller plants on the edges and the lowest in the middle and doing it this way all plants are getting between 35 and 50 DLI at 20/4 - although one or two cola tips here and there are getting 55. Will monitor for a week. Day 46: Fertigated 5l Day 47: Nesia is really moving into flower strongly now. Pistil development has started proper, stretching rapidly. Day 49: Nesia starting to pose me a challenge. She is big. Now by far the largest plant. She has reached 50cm height and 70cm across. I will add proper photos later and do a week summary. Day 49: Nesia is stretching really fast now. I hope she doesn't stretch much more but I fear we're only halfway done. She's way bigger than Karen now. Taller, wider. Fertigated 5l End of week summary... well what can I say Nesia has now surpassed Karen (25 days older) in every size and growth metric. She is following exactly the same pattern except without all the problems. I think she still has 2 weeks of stretching to go, on that basis I am expecting her to grow upto 25cm in the next week and the same again the week after - so I think Nesia is going to end up being about 1m tall. Honestly I hope not though, but let us see.

Dos semanas de vida para esta plántula, de momento tiene un crecimiento normal, las raíces ya sobresalen por la base buscando sustrato. La semana que viene la trasplanto a una maceta intermedia para continuar desarrollando un potente sistema radicular que me asegure un crecimiento vigoroso durante todo el cultivo. El sustrato del recipiente está especialmente preparado para potenciar el desarrollo radicular, debido a componentes como: Microorganismos sólidos (MMS), Bio Carbón activado con MM, auxinas, micorrizas y la técnica del encapsulado inferior para favorecer el desarrollo vertical de las raíces. Como detecté algún bicho en otra planta aplique diatomeas en polvo, de ahí algunas manchas blancas en las hojas y Neem como foliar, el bicho is dead!! Mantengo húmedo el sustrato con pequeños aportes de nutrientes como: ácidos húmicos, MMA, Miel, Melaza u ormus, el ph lo controlo con vinagre blanco de manzana que ayuda también al enraizamiento, el EC promedio de esta semana es de EC: 0.75. GROWING TIP: Agua!! Mineralizada, viva y estructurada. La importancia de la calidad del agua para el cultivo es vital para mi, he recorrido los manantiales, ríos y arroyos de mi zona con el medidor de EC y el de PH para conocer las aguas que me rodean, recojo siempre que hay oportunidad agua de lluvia de la terraza de un vecino, nunca me falta agua pura, desecho regar con agua del grifo. Para mi, y actualmente, la mejor mezcla de agua que puedo ofrecer a mis plantas es agua de lluvia 75% con otra de un manantial de montaña de agua alcalina (Carbonato cálcico PH: 9.2) y muy mineralizada (EC: 0.85), esta agua yo mismo la consumo regularmente, consigo una mezcla de agua pura con un EC alrededor de 0.19, me garantizo así el aporte de calcio y otros minerales. En épocas donde no llueve uso agua pura de manantiales y arroyos con EC de 0.3. Estas aguas las filtro y almaceno a obscuras en mi casa, la cuestión es que el agua parada pierde oxígeno y también desordena su estructura molecular haciéndola caótica. Para poder recuperar esta estructura y oxigenación el agua debe estar en movimiento como en la naturaleza, yo me ayudo de un agitador magnético para volver a tener agua viva, el agitador crea un vórtice implosivo que en 10 minutos pone las cosas en su sitio y carga de oxígeno nuestra agua, una vez hecho este proceso voy añadiendo los nutrientes uno a uno y sigo agitando hasta el final. El agua tratada con esta técnica, mejora la asimilación de nutrientes, el intercambio catiónico e inunda de oxígeno nuestro sustrato y raíces, también con esta técnica se pueden bajar las concentraciones normales de EC en un 30% y conseguir los mismos resultados, prueba y verás!! 7/4 SUN was poking out a little bit. Plants loved that little feeding and seen to he noticeable larger this morning. I'm considering starting the nutes. At least the organic ones as well as upping the water intake I've been scared to water with all this rain and my experience last time. I plan on applying BT this afternoon and doing some work on the bottoms of the plants. I also saw a chipmunk in my cage so I have some spots in my fence that need to be patched. I know I can't compare this year to orher years as these are seeds and all the other years were clones. I CAN say for certain that my plants are healthiest they've been out of any of my journals. Previous plants were much larger but I was fighting numerous fungal, pathogens and pests at the sane time. Ear wigs would've lollipopped most buddies by now but I've seen no sign of them. I'm going to apply more poison where they were and add some rat traps inside the cage for the chipmunks. Once I fix the cage I think I'll be good. UPDATE: Went back over and fixed the holes on my cage from high winds. I found an old wire trap or cage and just cut sections and ziptied them to the existing wire and to the structure thus covering any open holes. I'll need to put lathes aroubdvtge outside because if a rodent REALLY wanted in they could get in. My belt had been wearing thin but I use shit until it breaks (yesterday the heal came off my shoe lol) so I was working hard sweating my nuts off and my belt gives out totally. At least ive got the major stuff done. I took a few videos too. I'm imagining it was this little bit of sun that gave these plants that boost of growth but I'm wondering if the added nutes had anything to do with it. Bags weren't light and I could feel moisture in the soil so I didn't water. I'll check again tomorrow morning. Since I didn't see many plants or even leaves for that matter with damage I decided to hold off ob the BT and the plant doctor. Only time will tell if that was the right decision. 7/5 Plants look fantastic. I see a few more holes in leaves sporadically amd I'm hoping it's pillars. I've seen lots of lightning bugs on my camera though and grasshoppers are abundant. Not one growth shoot has been chewed (knock on wood) which is what the earwigs had always done. I watched a video from last year and by nowcthey had lollipopped all lower leaves. It may not be the best weather growing season wise but despite the rh consistently in the 90's I still don't have pm or fungal pathogens. Need to get the BT out. Didn't water as we've had all that rain. I'll water either tonight or tomorrow morning. Sunny high in the 90s low is 66. Tomorrow looks good too. UPDATE WENT BACK OVER AROUND FIVE. IT WAS 88 DEGREES SO I WANTED TO CHECK THE GROW BAGS. THE POTS ARE FINE. IT WAS HUMID AS HELL. ONE PLANT WAS SLIGHTLY DROOPY BUT VERY LIGHT AND DRY. I FOUND TWO OTHERS THAT SEEMED LIGHTER THAN THE REST BUT HADNT DROOPED. I MIXED TWO GALLONS OF WATER WITH 1TSP KANGOROOTS AMD PHED IT CLOSE TO 6. I FED THE 3 PLANTS THAT WERE SUPER DRY LIKE A HALF GALLON AND SPRED THE REST OVER THE OTHER EIGHT PLANTS. THEY WERENT DROOPING BUT THEY WERE VERY DRY. I PLAN ON A FULL WATER TOMORROW. I WOULDVE DONE IT TODAY IF THE TEMPS WERENT SO HIGH. ITS RAINED A MONTH STRAIGHT SO I HAVENT HAD TO WATER. I MADE A COUPLE VIDEOS BUT I'LL HAVE TO UPLOAD TOMORROW. 7/6 Another super hot day. I hefted the pots and they still had some weight but I could tell they were dry. This rain has messed up my watering schedule. Well it made it so I didn't NEED to water. These are big plants now. I need to get a schedule to stick too. They're going to probably need a gallon a piece at least. I'm still nervous watering. Right now I'm just reading the plants. I added .5tsp kelp me/you to 1 gallon of water to help with heat stress. I fed an additional two gallons to the garden this morning including the two container plants in the back. They were dry on top too but I know they have water deeper down. Next watering I'll be more consistent and try to give them there 10%. It's great having the bags elevated. I can finally see when I start getting run off. I could even measure the ph of it instead of relying on that meter. Ill check the ph when I go back over. Still a few 🐛 holes but they are few and far between. I really don't want to spray for such a small problem but if I cant find them at night that's what I'll do. UPDATE: Another 90 degree day. I went back over and gave the garden a gallon of water as they were dry and it didn't rain. Tried to use a soil ph meter to check ph. First couple were 6.4, 6.5 then I got 7.3 and I accidently dropped it. Then I got somethings that were high eights and even one 9! Obviously the Meter shit the bed. I'll lower the ph of the water slightly when I fully water tomorrow and I'm going to measure the runoff. 7/8 I must've messed up the journal again as the dates are off. GAVE PLANTS A FULL WATERING. Each girl got a gallon. I couldn't upload my videos this morning as I had to break up a fight. 3 on 1. Didn't give me a chance to put the videos up. I'll take some stills then I can upload them. I took stills and they all uploaded but didn't fucking save. I'm nit going to keep trying to upload if it's not going to. Noticed a few more holes in leaves and one skeletinized leaf so I need to either spray the bt or something more versatile. I'm putting more poison around the cage and de between the bags. I'll go check things out tonight. Sick of writing a book and uploading to just hace them disappear 7/9 Did a quick video today. Noticed the bags were fairly light despite the plants being soaked amd the pallets wet. I was pressed for time. I gave two gallons to the entire garden. I hope that will hold them over until tomorrow. I'll need to up how much water I give them. Going with a gallon and a half next time. I see more pillar spots and a moth took off when I shook the plants this morning. So I'm gonna have too apply the BT. I figure if I go over before dark tonight I might be able to see aju nocturnal insects around. Luckily my dad feeds the birds and they are always there. I think they help with pests. UPDATE IT WAS A LITTLE COOLER TODAY BUT MICH MORE HUMID. I WENT AROUND SIX TO MAKE SURE THE GIRLS WERE OK WITH WATER AND TO GIVE THEM A TREATMENT OF BT. I WENT THROUGH THE GARDEN ANDCGOUND THREE LEQVES TO DEFOLIATE AND LITERALLY A COUPLE LEAVES ON TWO PLANTS WITH PILLAR HILESM WHEN I ARRIVED TWO BIRDS FLEW OUT. A HORNET CAME IN WHILE I WAS THERE. THIS DO LESS APPROACH SEEMS TO BE REALLY WORKING. I DODNT SEE NEARLT ENOUGH DAMAGE TO WARRANT SPRAY8NG MY EXTREMELY HEALTHY GIROS WITH ANYTHING. ILL KEEP AN EYE ON THEM AND CLEAN THEM UP A BIT. I DO NEED TO INSTALL THE VERY8CAL TRELLIS FOR SUPPORT. THEYRE PRETTY HEALTHY THOUGH. ONE PLANT IS ABOUT AS WIDE AS IT IS TALL. STILL......PLANTS ARE EXPLODING AND ITS GETTING TIGHT IN THERE. I NEED TO GET THE TRELLIS UP THOUGH. 7/10 I went over and was planning to water. Plants were wet and it's raining. Top of the medium was moist but the bags were light. ONE bag was super light but seeing that we are having showers all day and an additional half inch of rain coming tonight so I didn't water them. Especially since they looked great. Decided to to spray BT yet as the damage is so small and i think the birds have been taking care of the pillars for me. Now I'm wondering if I should've gave that ONE plant a little bit of water but it will be find. Did a video. I'm being careful not to over water. Last year this is when all my buddies were devoured by earwigs. And no senescence like the years before. I think it was hust those earwigs. I haven't lost shot for leaves. Even the stalks are bright green and look amazing.

🚂 Cash Express – Pheno A Week 10 | Her Story, Her Rhythm, Her Spotlight 🌸🔥 Hello everyone, and welcome back to another week of the 8×8 Adventure! 💚🌱 And here we are again with our Cash Express Pheno A. She's still doing exactly what she's been doing throughout this journey: Growing beautifully at her own rhythm. She's not trying to be the fastest. She's not trying to be the biggest. She's not trying to follow anybody else's schedule. She's simply becoming more and more herself with every passing week. And honestly... I really like that. Because when you have twelve different genetics sharing one room, the most interesting plants aren't necessarily the ones doing exactly what you expected. Sometimes it's the ones that look at your expectations and say: "Nope. I'm going to write my own story." 😂 And that's exactly what Cash Express Pheno A is doing. So this week, let's give her the attention she deserves. Let's look at her development, those beautiful white hairs, her individuality, and of course... let's talk photons. 💡🌱 Because this girl deserves some light on her story. ──────────────────────── 🌸 Week 10 – Still Doing It Her Way Cash Express Pheno A is currently sitting around 72 cm. And once again, the number itself doesn't really tell the story. She's not particularly tall. She's not trying to become the biggest plant in the room. But when you actually stop and look at her... there's something happening. The structure is becoming increasingly defined. The flowering sites are developing. And the plant has that unmistakable feeling of moving further and further into her own expression. She's found her rhythm. And we're letting her keep it. That's one of the things I enjoy most about this entire 8×8 Adventure. We're not trying to make every plant behave the same. We're giving them a shared environment and watching what they do with it. And Cash Express Pheno A is giving us a very clear answer: "This is who I am." And I say... Go for it, girl. 💚 ──────────────────────── 🌸 Those White Hairs Are Becoming Her Signature One of the things I've really started appreciating about this phenotype is the definition of those beautiful white pistils. They're becoming increasingly obvious in the photographs. They stand out against the surrounding foliage, giving the developing flowers a really distinctive appearance. And this is one of those details that becomes much easier to appreciate when you're documenting the plant week after week. At first, they're just tiny white hairs appearing around the early flowering sites. Then suddenly... you start seeing them everywhere. They become part of the identity of the plant. And with Cash Express, I really like how defined they are becoming. The flowers are developing at their own pace, but there's no mistaking that they're developing. She's progressing. She's building. She's becoming more recognizable every week. And that's what makes following a phenotype from the beginning so rewarding. You don't just see a flower. But underneath all of that is an incredibly simple relationship. Light provides the energy source that drives photosynthesis. Photons arrive at the leaves. The plant captures that energy. And that energy becomes part of the biological machinery supporting everything we're watching develop. So when I look at Cash Express, I'm not simply looking at a plant underneath an LED. I'm looking at a plant sitting underneath an artificial sun. And every day, we're giving her another opportunity to turn that light into growth. That's pretty amazing when you stop and think about it. ──────────────────────── ☀️ Future of Grow – Our Artificial Sun The Future of Grow LEDs continue providing the primary lighting for the room. The genetics take it from there. And this is why comparing these plants is so interesting. The photons are available to all of them. But every phenotype has its own way of using the opportunity. Plants aren't flat. A flower isn't simply sitting directly underneath a light. There are leaves above it. Leaves beside it. Branches at different heights. Flowers facing different directions. Different parts of the plant naturally receive different amounts of light. That's where the additional Lumiflora lighting becomes particularly interesting. By bringing additional illumination into the inner and lower areas of the canopy, we're giving those less-exposed areas another opportunity to receive useful light. It's not about turning the plant into a Christmas tree covered in lights. 😂 It's about thinking about where the plant actually exists in three-dimensional space. Top. Middle. Inside. Below. Every part of the canopy has a different relationship with the light. We can provide the environment. We can provide the photons. We can provide water and nutrition. We can manage temperature, humidity and airflow. But then... we have to step back. That's the phenotype writing its own story. And that's why I'm not interested in forcing her to become something she's not. She's already telling me what she is. That's reality. So instead of obsessing over every tiny fluctuation, we're concentrating on maintaining the overall environment as stable as we reasonably can. The things we can control... we control. The things summer decides to control... well... we negotiate. 😂☀️ ──────────────────────── ⚗️ Nutrition – Keep the Plant Comfortable The nutritional strategy remains essentially unchanged. We're continuing with the flowering programme and keeping the solution around: pH 6.0 EC approximately 2.0 mS/cm There's no reason to start changing things simply because another week has passed. Cash Express is growing. She's flowering. She's maintaining good colour. And she's continuing her development. So we're allowing consistency to do its job. Sometimes the best intervention is no intervention at all. ──────────────────────── 🌸 The Flowers Are Becoming More Defined When I look at the photographs this week, one thing really stands out. The flowers are becoming easier to read. The structure is becoming more obvious. The pistils are beautifully defined. And there's a growing sense that these little flowering sites are becoming something much more substantial. She's not rushing there. But she's getting there. And that's enough. This is another reason I love documenting the same plant week after week. If you only looked at her today, you might simply say: "Beautiful flower." But when you compare the photographs from earlier weeks... you can actually see the transformation. And that transformation is the real story. ──────────────────────── 📸 The Camera Finds the Details Cash Express has become one of those plants where the camera really helps me appreciate the little things. From a distance, she's another beautiful flowering plant inside a very busy room. But move closer... and suddenly there's another world. The pistils. The developing flower structure. The leaves surrounding the flowers. The way the branches carry their individual sites. The subtle differences in colour and texture. This is why I keep photographing everything. Because the eye sees the room. The camera sees the details. And together they tell a much better story. ──────────────────────── 🚂 Cash Express Doesn't Need to Hurry I think this is probably the most important thing I want to say about her this week. She's still growing at her own rhythm. And that's okay. There is no race. She's not competing against the plant next door. She's not competing against another phenotype. She's not competing against some imaginary calendar. She's simply moving through her own development. And if that means she takes a little longer to show us what she's capable of... I'm perfectly happy to wait. Because every week she gives us another little piece of the puzzle. And I like the picture we're getting. ──────────────────────── 🔬 Twelve Plants – Twelve Relationships With Light This is where the lighting experiment becomes particularly fascinating for me. The same room. The same general lighting philosophy. The same artificial sun. But twelve different plants interpreting that environment in twelve different ways. Some plants seem to want to reach toward the light. Some remain compact. Some build wide canopies. Some build tall structures. Some flower sites become immediately obvious. Others take their time. The photons are the common language. The genetics write the individual stories. And Cash Express Pheno A is definitely writing hers. She's saying: "Give me the light. Give me the time. week 7 flower: big fanleaves start to die off and the purple/yellow colors appear on the plant. one more week before harvest

So it's Harvest Day 68 Buds are heavy I cut the scrog net and the plants could not carry the heavy Buds. Buds are not that Big but verry Sticky and have dozen of trichomes. And also an amazing smell let's see how the finished flowers are going to be after Curing. Last post I'm going to do on trim Day when they can go inside the Bags.

Gorilla Cookies is growing well. Making some nice progress. I had to give them some organic calmag because that is all I could get locally but it seems to be working. pH has held steady and the leaf color is looking great on all the plants. Haven't had to do any maintainence this week other than defoliate a few bottom leaves and spread some branches out a little. Plants are growing bigger than I thought they would so I will have to figure something out to get them spread further apart soon. Just going to keep the juice pumping and the lights beaming. Hoping to get them under the QB lights soon. She is 28 days old in a 16 oz cup. No roots have grown out of the cup at any time. No roots have been trimmed or touched. Happy growing everyone!

It's time. The trichomes have clouded over, a milky haze obscuring the clear heads. The smell is faint. Very herby of thyme and salvia. The buds are small and round.

There was a Nitrogen deficiency identified in all plants, Soul Grow-N was applied as instructed by the bottle (5ml/gal)

For the Mimosa evo its the 5th week of veg overall they are doing great. Had some issues with some of them, with deficiencies gave them what they need. For the ones that are fully healthy I gave them the second topping and a little of defoliation. Today I gave a round of nutrients to the Mimosa Evo. Yesterday I gave a round of nutrients to the Auto's and some defoliation.

High GD community, Week 8, Sweet Thai doing fine, but trips got to her 2, like all other plants, and now its waiting for the predatory bugs to arrive and do their thing. I think the best way ist to wait for the bugs to arrive, get them at work for minimum 2 says and only at that time, ill switch to 13/11. If everything comes on time, maybe thursday, but friday should be the goal. Ive ordered 100 bugs, needing 5 to 10 at each plant, so it will just fit the needs. When the trips invasion is defeated, the bugs need pollen to survive, so the small flowers in the plantmix is a plus for that. Welcome to week 1 of my CBD Medi Kush Diary! I have 2 - CBD Medi Kush by Spliff Seeds going in the same tent with 14 other plants (full details on all of the other plants can be found on my "Dude's New Diary to Rule Them All" diary, check it out). But with the CBD Medi Kush I'm also growing 3 - DinaMed CBD+ by DinaFem, 1 - Critical+ by DinaFem, 3 - Cream & Cheese CBD by Seedsman and 7 - Cherry Blossom CBD Hemp by Elevator Supply Co. The 2 CBD Medi Kush plants and 2 of the DinaMed CBD+'s were all started from seed at the same time (all other plants are clones). Once all surviving clones/seedlings were healthy enough I transplanted from dixie cups to small pots (I guess around 1 litre). They were transplanted into soil I had been composting and turning for 3-4 weeks. They really responded well to the transplanting and the new soil. Noticeable growth in 48 hours. The pictures in week 1 were taken right after transplanting (check week 2 and you will see a very noticeable change all around). My plan this grow is to go organic (or as organic as possible). While the soil was composting I added old fan leaves to the mix as well as Recharge, Mr B's Green Trees 'Growth', and Jobe's Organic granular fertilizer. I know, I know, everyone says don't use time release nutes with cannabis. BUT, The Rev said it was fine in his "True Living Organics" book. He actually recommends putting spikes in the flowering pots prior to transplant (I'm planning on trying that too). Recharge and Mr B's Green Trees don't claim to be organic specifically for whatever reason, but the ingredients include pretty much everything The Rev recommends adding to composting soil. Plus I love Recharge, that stuff is great! Organic or not I'll be using Recharge along the way. Here's the setup... First of all, I'll let you know my grow area is in my attic. The previous owners finished the attic with walls lights and even carpeting, but for some reason kept the folding attic stairs. Its pretty a pretty good space, we divide the attic in half. One side for my plants, they other for attic type storage. I have 2 2x4 tents and a larger flowering area (10x12'ish). One of the tents I use for drying only, the other is where I have these babies growing. The babies are currently under a single Viparspectra V300 300W LED. I'm having really good results with Viparspectra LED's. Bang for the buck, Viparspectra is hard to beat. I have a 2nd 300W Viparspectra which is a R300 (more reds) which is better for flowering. I may stick the R300 in the tent as well at some point, but for now the single V300 is doing a great job. In the flowering area I'm running 1000W HPS. The HPS has been kicking ass with the plants in flower now and I'm expecting more of the same with these girls when they are ready for the big time. Side note: I'm running a separate diary for all of these girls. In this diary I'm just going to focus on the CBD Medi Kush specifically. But I did start the CBD Medi Kush and DinaMed CBD+ seeds at exactly the same time. So, in the other diary I will do some comparisons and contrasts between the 2 strains as they grow. So far the DinaMed is taller, but the CBD Medi Kush has beautifully stacked node structure. This looks like its going to be a win-win. Please follow and comment away!!!
