Starting of week 4 she has been cleaned now and can enjoy some more airflow ,and ready to start pumping those flowers so far soo good she just doing her things

😼Wk15: Surprise! This is the right time. 👉This week’s journal is only the days that lead up to the harvest which happened mid to late in the week. Since the harvest process takes more than a couple days, and it happened late in the week, I will be making one more week with the harvest process after the buds are dried to 20-25% (hopefully) and in jars. I should have all the final specs for the grow. 👉The 1 gallon plan was not even absorbing much fluid. The saturation volume of the media was getting smaller each day it seemed. It would take over 5 minutes to be able to pour 1.5 liters of solution into the pot. The run-off would also end very quickly as compared to all other plants I grew. I surmise this is due to the roots packing the pot and compressing the media very tightly, not allowing it to absorb much solution. The light sweet caramel aroma is now replaced by what I would call the strong generic funky stank of weed. While there is nothing extraordinary about the aroma, it’s so strong that you can smell it outdoors (its vented outside from second story window). Even with, medium to strong winds you can catch whiffs of it. Smells like heaven to me! Super frosty buds. Only a couple buds had any fresh calyx’s with white pistols. During my trichome hunting expeditions I see very few amber. But those are not what Im hunting. Im looking for the majority of the trichomes to be cloudy. I believe by mid-week all the buds had mostly cloudy trichomes with a few clears left. Harvest came on day the 3rd day of the week. 👉The 3 gallon plant was consuming less fluid. It was easy to fertigate it with 3l of water. The EC was spiking very quickly and would not come down very much. The run off would fall back in range but be above target the next fertigation event. I figured it may just be the densely packed roots in the pot. With the pH runoff going in the opposite direction as the 1 gallon plants run-off and I was wondering what was causing the difference. Even though the lowest leaves look a little like the plant was over watered, I continued the high volume of fertigations. I did reduce the EC somewhat. I was giving it week 10 mix on the GHE mix chart for drain to waist mix. The leaves looked crappy, but the buds were looking awesome. The plant had the same light creamy caramel aroma when sniffed up close, but the strong aroma of stanky funk was the permeating odor that filled room. I had only done some light scouting for the trichomes on the plant and each time saw more cloudy tips. I wasn’t sure but by Tuesday the trichomes looked at least 50/50, which is a little further along than I thought it would be. After harvesting the 1 gallon plant I had room to pull the plant out and rotate it and give it an exhaustive scan for a more complete idea of how much time it had. When I rotated it, I didn’t notice it at first. Then I focused on it as the top of a cola was brown and the leaves around it were all dried. “Oh fuck!” I shouted. It was like someone had walked up behind me and jabbed me in the ribs and yelled "BOO"! I was startled and even jumped out of my chair. I then did a double and triple take to make sure my eyes weren’t being grizzled or bent. I then grabbed the branch cutters and took that branch. I searched the cola and it was isolated to the top 3 inches of this fat pine cone. I snipped it below that group of bud and removed it from the house, took it out back in the field and stabbed it, shot it and set it on fire (only in my imagination). I then washed and sanitized my hands, returned to the tent and inspected some of the larger colas, pulling them apart and looking to the center for nasty pestilence. Fortunately I didn’t see any. I didn’t have time to harvest it right then and there, but I did on Friday night. I knew I wasn’t out of danger yet though. These buds are pine cones and very dense. I was afraid Id see the same thing I saw in my Critical purple and lose all the best buds. I wouldn’t know until the harvest was complete, with the buds curing in the jars. 🙀

She’s still stretching! This week I removed Voodoo Juice, Tarantula and Piranha, and added B-52 and Bud Factor X (never tried this one before). Since the princess loves this 2ml/L dosage for NPK nutes, I’ll not be touching that for the moment. That seems to be the optimal dosage for a sativa like this. Very nice!

Major defoliation/ lollipoping that happened this week right on day 20 my main concern was looking for more hermies (due to stem cracks from lst) and also cut out any lower branches that where going to make larfy buds. I only cut up the branches untill the point that the budsites where at least a nice pistil cluster (10and up ) some branches got a good 6-7 inches shaved off some more like 2-3 just depends on the plant with so much variety. Also my plants are like touching the lights it just wont let me mark less then 4inches i have the ability to raise my light another 2inches so i will definitely be doing that. For now i have the taller branches off to the sides so the can outgrow the light without burning. Smells finally starting to come in with more gassy earth coming from DD and devine chocolate GG4 smell coming from the mellows Still see some nitrogen toxicity not sure if should cut all nutes in half considerIng week three biogrow increases to 3ml/L

4th week done, have some kind of deficiency that I'm not 100% sure on. Keeping an eye on PH more and making sure it stays a little higher. Started adding silicone as heavy buds was starting to make colas lean

1 Leaf is obviously 1 tough customer....but is he tough enough? Can he hang with the present level of toughness he possesses? Watch and find out! (apparently my plant thinks it's a dude) Defoliated pretty heavily toward the end of the week. partly to try to stunt growth a bit but also promote more growth once it kicks in. Got a log jam going in my flower tent and not sure what to do. May just designate 3 mothers then cram 3 in to flower in a few weeks when its opened up. This is what happens when you feel like you cant throw away anything that might be clone-able. I've gotten past it thankfully and learned a lesson in how to time things next time.

Had mold at the very end so ended chopping then down early. Delicious smell. Smells like vomit or piss and gets stronger as they continue to cure.

Hello growmies! Welcome to week four of An Epsilon Adventure! The girls are already transitioning into flower, I will get some photos of that later in the week. Daily Updates: ### Week 4 Day 1 11:00 16/7 Removed some lower growth. ### Week 4 Day 2 23:00 17/7 Tallest plants were showing signs of heat stress so I have raised the light about 30cm more. Unfortunately this now means the lower plants aren't getting as much light as they could, so I have put the cycle back to 20h (I may even increase it). ### Week 4 Day 3 14:00 18/7 Photographed. ### Week 4 Day 3 19:00 18/7 Fertigated 2l. Okay these girls are now starting to concern me a little on the basis that they are supposed to grow to "50-70cm". At just over 3 weeks old the shortest of these girls is 53cm, the tallest (plant 3) is now 76cm tall. The worrying thing is they do not at all look like they are slowing down and as they are just pre-flowering now, the flowering stretch hasn't even started. So I need some genuine advice here now: Do I keep the faith and hope that they don't exceed the space I have? Do I top or super crop them now? These ladies are beastly, at the end of the week I am going to take some individual videos and more photos to really try and capture how magnificently well these girls are doing. I think I may be in the process of growing the biggest Epsilon F1's so far? Exciting to find out! ### Week 4 Day 4 21:00 19/7 James has assured me they wont go much more than 85 so I am not going to mess with them. They are due a defoliation at the end of this week though. Measured each plant as follows: Plant 1: 81cm Plant 2: 75cm Plant 3: 80cm Plant 4: 67cm Plant 5: 59cm Plant 6: 58cm Might photograph later or leave until tomorrow. ### Week 4 Day 5 10:00 20/7 Photographed and measured. Plant 1: 85cm Plant 2: 79cm Plant 3: 81cm Plant 4: 71cm Plant 5: 63cm Plant 6: 63cm So they've all grown about 4cm in about 13 hours, except plant 3 - which seems to have slowed down a lot. The top of plant 3 is also the most advanced looking in terms of pistils. I forgot to take close ups of the preflowers I will do that tomorrow. I have had to raise the light again today and it is now much further away than the younger plants than I would like. So I am thinking about adding a 300w LED into my 4x4. I have another 3 inches I can raise the light on the hangers, after that I can removed the adjustable handers and tie it to the top of the tent... that'll gain me another 4 or 5 inches. If I need to go higher my only option would be to set them up without the tent which is not an option right now. Hopefully they all just stop getting taller now and focus on flowering... but my gut tells me there's more growth to come. Watch this space! ### Week 4 Day 6 15:00 21/7 Measured. This strain averages 50-70cm in height. We have six plants here and every one of them is taller than the average... but would you just look at plant 1? She is a giant! 102cm!! Where will she stop? Next week will see the full transition to flower and we will start to see the bud sites developing. I have no idea at this point what the heights will look like at the end of next week. I'm very happy with this weeks progress. They transitioned very well to the garden, which I'm chocking up to the row cover. They didn't need any water due to the thunderstorm we had last night, but I did make a ring around the base of each plant and gave them about 1-2 TBSP of the Coast of Maine Stonington Blend fertilizer. They also got their tomato cages.

Been tying these girls down over the week. Trying to spread them out more. They are looking healthy at least. No issues. No fungus gnats or any critters at all. Happy with it right now

From the moment she germinated under our 12/12 From Seed experiment, her goal has been to prove that autoflowers can still build impressive structure and healthy development under a flowering light schedule from day one. Now, after weeks of careful Low Stress Training, patient leaf tucking, and allowing her natural architecture to develop, she has fully transitioned into flowering. This week isn’t about explosive vegetative growth anymore. It’s about transformation. The first real flowers are forming, the canopy is alive with brilliant white pistils, and every branch is beginning to reveal the framework that will eventually become her harvest. ⸻ 🌸 Week 5 – Frosted Guava Finds Her Rhythm The flowering transition couldn’t have gone much smoother. Standing at approximately 99 cm, Frosted Guava has developed into a beautifully balanced medium-sized plant that fills her space naturally without becoming overwhelming. The stretch is slowing down, allowing more energy to shift toward flower production rather than vertical growth. One of the things I enjoy most about this phenotype is her internodal spacing. Every branch has enough room to breathe while remaining close enough together to promise excellent bud stacking in the weeks ahead. Nothing feels crowded, nothing feels sparse—it simply looks naturally well built. Looking from above, the canopy is incredibly satisfying. Looking from the side, her structure tells exactly the same story. Healthy. Balanced. Ready. ⸻ 🌿 Training & Canopy Development Throughout vegetative growth the focus has remained on keeping the canopy open instead of forcing the plant into an artificial shape. Regular Low Stress Training combined with gentle leaf repositioning has allowed every developing branch to receive strong light without creating unnecessary stress. Those small adjustments are beginning to pay off now. Multiple flowering sites are receiving excellent exposure, air movement through the canopy remains unrestricted, and each branch has space to develop independently. Sometimes the simplest training methods produce the most natural-looking plants. Frosted Guava is becoming a perfect example of exactly that. ⸻ ? The First Flowers One of my favorite moments in every grow is watching those first clusters of bright white pistils appear. This week they’re everywhere. Each tiny white hair is another confirmation that flowering is fully underway, marking the locations where future buds will continue building over the coming weeks. The tops are already beginning to gather themselves into small floral clusters, while every node along the branches is joining the party with fresh pistils reaching toward the light. There’s something incredibly satisfying about this stage. Everything still looks delicate… Yet you already know what’s coming. ⸻ 🍃 Plant Health Color remains outstanding across the entire canopy. The foliage carries a beautiful healthy green tone from top to bottom, with fresh new growth emerging vibrant and full of life. Leaf posture remains excellent, stems continue thickening nicely, and the plant simply gives the impression of being comfortable in her environment. There are no distractions. She’s focused entirely on growing flowers now. ⸻ 💧 Nutrition & Irrigation With flowering now established, Frosted Guava is receiving the complete transition feeding program alongside the rest of the room. Current feeding: • Terra Grow — 1.8 ml/L • Terra Bloom — 1.9 ml/L • Pure Zym — 1 ml/L • Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L • Power Roots — 1 ml/L • Power Buds — 1 ml/L Maintaining: * EC: 1.88 mS/cm * pH: 6.05 The AutoPot system continues delivering consistent irrigation, allowing the root zone to remain stable while supporting the increasing nutritional demands that come with early flower. Everything is progressing exactly as planned. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment The entire room continues operating as one stable ecosystem, giving every phenotype the same opportunity to express its unique characteristics. Current conditions: * Day temperature: 31.1°C * Night temperature: 25°C * Relative humidity: 72% * Solution temperature: 21.6°C * Root zone temperature: 21°C * CO₂: approximately 639 ppm Despite the warm summer conditions, the plants continue responding exceptionally well thanks to stable irrigation, healthy roots, strong airflow, and carefully maintained environmental consistency. The room continues doing the heavy lifting. The plants simply reward it. ⸻ 👀 Looking Ahead Now the fun really begins. Over the next couple of weeks, I expect the vertical stretch to gradually come to an end as Frosted Guava redirects nearly all of her energy toward building flowers. Those tiny white pistils will soon develop into recognizable bud sites, resin production will begin increasing, and the beautiful open structure she’s built throughout vegetative growth should translate into excellent light penetration and strong flower development across the entire canopy. She’s entering the stage every grower waits for. And she’s entering it beautifully. ⸻ 🙏 Final Thoughts Frosted Guava Pheno A is exactly where I hoped she would be at this point in the grow. Healthy. Balanced. Beautifully structured. She’s a reminder that successful flowering starts long before the first pistils appear. Every careful adjustment during vegetative growth—from LST to leaf tucking—has helped create the strong framework she’s now using to build what promises to be an impressive canopy of flowers. Watching each phenotype develop its own personality inside this shared environment continues to be one of the most rewarding parts of this entire 8×8 Adventure.
