Week 7

The ladies don't seem to be hungry that much. I slightly introduced them for the first time with some nutrients from General Hydroponics and CalMag.

With the seeds of the next cycle already germinating in cups of water it was time to harvest the Northern Light Automatic by Royal Queen Seeds. She was moved outside the tent and was given a full hand trim. The entire process took about three hours. As opposed to the Sherbet Queen of last run, the Northern Light was trimmed wet. Drying conditions are 23°C and between 50-60% humidity. She still smells a bit like hay on the second day after harvest, nowhere near dry. On the third day after harvest, the hay smell is stronger. More information once she's dried sufficiently. Ofcourse, I will then also share her dry weight. After some consulting our peer group came up with a range between 65-90 grams. What is YOUR guess?

I found this strain very easy to grow and responded very well given the hot/humid weather we have here on the island. This strain held up very well to pest and mold/mildew

Into week two all cuttings have taken 8 have been topped, spacers have been deployed to train branches 3cm spacers I will increase the size of spacers once the branches develop a little more. about every 3 days Is required depending on how the strain performs. this is a more creative method of growing with the final picture of your media in mind {peecock effect}. once the media has starched I will snap on the spacers to create the scrog for a level canopy, holding the outer plants left and right further out to the left and right for more light exposure to develop my flowers to there full potential. middle of week 2 I put the spacers together to make the scrog mainly two train the left and right rows of plants outwards for more space in the middle of my canopy.

If you are going to try this beauty for 2 weeks dont give her 0 nut because you are gonna have 100% nut burn,dont even use root juice or whatever nut you have for early stage but just water,she dont need anything special to grow bigger and bigger just good conditions and right food and you will se the magic to happen,give her more space than i gave because in my situation the roots got on the top and she needed more space BUT she didn't disappoint me😍

Now for Wk8, even after all that DEFOLIATION and LST on Wk7 it don't look like it all. It took me 3 hours, to do all that work. I wanted to wait at least 2 weeks before another around of defoliation and lst but now it's every week 😪. Do I DARE say the other 2 plants are catching up to Garganchula? I will say I had 1 big 1 medium and 1 small. Now I got 1 large and 2 medium plants. I want 1 more month of VEG, to allow the other 2 plants to catch up but I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to slow down Garganchula (big plant name). Let's see if WK9 Garganchula play nice and grow SLOWLY and allow her other siblings (didn't name them yet) to catch up. Garganchula 1300ppms 2 other plants 1700ppms each

Hey now, was a pretty good week for the Sour D, I didn't really make any changes as far as the nutes, still at EC of 1.6, with water from my dehumidifier, then cal mag, then maxi bloom powder, then liquid kool bloom. Only real issue I had this week was on day 58 I noticed her leaning a little bit, and I went to move her pot, and she almost toppled over. It really scared the crap out of me, so that is why you now see all the wire tires wrapped around her base. Definitely something I will be more mindful of in the future. Still dealing with high temps and humidity, but my dehumidifier has been a real Beast. I will also add that when I open that tent, the smell of Diesel Fuel, and Lemons smack me in the face like a 2x4. I have never smelled anything that pungent before. I am amazed at how well my Terra bloom carbon filter is doing, although I am sure it helps I have an 8x24" inch filter and Infinity T8 exhaust running on the lowest possible setting in my tiny little tent. Welcome to week 7 growmies! She’s doing great in her second week of flowering! She is still stretching and got a bigger defoliation at the end of week 6. For the start she’s getting only ph regulated water from top and some nutrients from bottom. There a little signs on the leaf tip why I skip nutrients for one watering cycle. On mid of week 7 she’s still stretching and first orange pistils shown up. On weekend she’s getting another defloration and another round of nutrients. We are finishing week 7 shortly! She was defoliated once again to ensure more light density in lower conopy. She’s doing still great and she’s not showing any signs of stress or leak of nutrients. It seems that she’s also stopped stretching. Looking forward to the next weeks!

OK guys I was away for a week so this week we are at the end of week 4 veg instead of the beginning of the week. There was a boom growth period and the taller Punch 2 has bent herself to avoid getting burnt as she is 30cm tall, the other Punch 1 is 20cm tall and seems fine. I have just given them a watering with calmag and just a drop of PK ratio 13-14. I have also ramped up the lamp to 100% and put it at 55cm from the top of the plants. I'm hoping they will soon switch to flower guys fingers crossed. 🎄

LST is going well. Minor defoliation to remove growth on underside of plant. This will be last full week of veg. Planet of the grapes auto sprout hanging out in back. Video/photos taken 42 days after breaking soil.

This week was pretty standard, I found out with the help of a friend the amount of magnesium I was feeding my plants was way to much. about 4x as much as they should have had. so they will no longer be getting any extra added magnesium. I read that it can stunt plant growth in excess but I don't know if that happened here, Plucked a few leaves off that where blocking other bid sites and removed some in the middle to help airflow. I was thinking about purchasing a 2nd fan for the tent but the ones I want are out of stock so I feel its best to use a regular none tent fan and just rig it up to a tent pole for now. Starting to see more frost on the sugar leaves and some good bud development on this one. The sister Maltezerz is also getting nice buds but not as nice as Blue Cindy. Maybe in time they will even out or switch sides. Will monitor its length from the SCROG net vs soil as its easier to measure. 33cm from SCROG net to base of plant 15cm from SCROG net to tip of plant Total 48cm for week four of flower. +2cm from Last Week "first week it has stretched more in the single week vs the Maltezerz" The clones are doing well considering I have ignored them mostly. Some yellowing in the leaves but nothing to worry about just yet. Have not lost a single clone in this project. I'm impressed with my self for that. Could also be this strain is really easy to clone as well.
