Week 4: Vegetative Growth Brrrrrr🤧 It’s been a really cold week for this time of year so far—just under 15 degrees during the day and between 6 and 8 degrees at night. It’s supposed to stay this way for a few more days. But the Gelato is doing great anyway.💪 The temperatures don’t seem to bother her, even though her growth has slowed down a bit... at least that’s how it seems to me. Still, I’m very happy... and she’s also starting to give off a little scent.😍

Wow, does this Gorilla Cookies smell great!! If you have been following me, then you know that the weather here in my area has been rough. BUT, according to @Fastbuds website, Gorilla Cookies is defined as being "Super-reliable and incredibly resistant. This cultivar inherited all the best qualities from her parents, making it a fool-proof strain even for beginner growers." And, my gorilla cookies has "Chunky dense buds" just like the website said it would. I used my Max-see magnifier to take some close up pictures of Miss Gorilla Cookies trichomes. She is getting closer and closer to a harvest. It rained a little this week so I only fed her a couple of times. I am currently feeding her @AdvanceNutrients Jungle Juice. I have only taken about 10 leaves off at the most during this grow. I just didn't need to open up any space for sunlight, so I left them all in contact. I also had a couple of caterpillars? that decided it was a good idea to visit my flowering plants. Little do they know we do not want them to visit! I included a picture of the caterpillar that visited. Any thoughts? Take a look at the picture that I circled on. I circled where the stem is bending down because of the bud weight. So the mainline is going great about ready to give the branches another topping. Hoping for 10-12 tops when done. My VPD is spot on and running a 800-900 PPM and 700 to 900 μmol/m²/s.for my lightning

This was her first week on 12/12. She's grown 8cm this week. I've switched to 6-12-36 powdered nutrients now.

Watering 2 1/2 litre every other day with A&B and Rizo, Boost Room temp 84F Humidity 50% Using de-humidifier now to keep it at 50%. One bluberry and one gorilla glue are really stretching, probably a foot higher than the other one. still removing leaves almost every day to expose more bud sites to the light.

Well not really much too update everything is still going well i guess, purple queen is really slow with starting to set flower mode is that normal with this strain? Or I’m i just not patient enough 😅 sticky beast is going really well also going strong into week 5! My best one most be the runtz #1 that is in week 6 the other one is chasing it but like I said already i broke the main root (not all the way) while lsting her. I put some ducktape on her but i think she will take a little longer then the number 1

Finally the end of the sixth week. I had very bright, slightly yellow leaves because i had given too much light and too little fertilizer. The lamp was then turned down to 80W and raised to 50cm height, so that the plant could calm down again. I also corrected the amount of fertilizer. Now she looks happier again 😇 Thanks also to @Seedler, I "tucked" the leaves under the buds and it worked very well. 🌱🌱🌱 Grow Hard. Go Pro.

On cruise control now, done some defoliation here and there but that's it, feeding every 2-3 days and they are swelling up very nicely. She's not as big as last time, I think I didn't catch it with the nitrogen soon enough.

Still only feeding water, I put them into 4ltr pots so they won't want food for a few weeks, flipped to 12/12 on day 35

these buds have sat out for a few days be4 being trimmed completely and jarred.. i will continue to burp them daily for a few weeks and then test a bud or 5.. the smell of this stuff is truly amazing and i can not wait to pack it in the bong

Leaves starting to brown. First thought was over fertilizing but guessing calcium. Did add powdered oyster shells to dirt mix but needing alot more.

Periloja and Sour Diesel were planted while my Comet Candy was in flower, toward the end and at harvest I neglected both and didn’t water or transplant. Causing them to fade and the Sour Diesel actually almost died, I popped more beans and told my self I’d be involved this time and not let my mental issues get in the way of what I love to do.
