July 12: looking good. Starting force flowering which is 12 h of darkness at same time each night for 2-3 weeks to initiate flowering. Doing ten hours of darkness (9:30 pm to 7:30 am) plus a ‘bonus’ two hours by using the far red light for a few seconds before dark which causes the plant to go into dark mode about two hours faster. So, it’s like having a 26 h day with 12 h of dark. This is a great trick if you have daily access to your plants. July 15: doing fine. July 18: Mimosa Shot has finally caught up in height to the other plant in the wagon (Sunday Punch EV).

I am back to happy with this strain and not at all worried about yield after taking some tops off two plants at day F48. Not usual for me to stagger a harvest, and also not normal for slurry to finish in week 6, but the trichs didnt lie. Had amber on the top one third of 2 plants, so I cut about 2 dry oz of one plant and 1.5 dry oz off the other. Couldnt tell that the garden has any missing. The larf on these plants is rock solid, and the trich development is out of this world, and an awe every trip to the garden. Fate will decide if I grow this strain again next year, I gifted most of my remaining seeds, I have two left, and one is already owed to a growmie. We shall seeeeeeeee. Monstercropping is a small possible option

Auto black Opium is growing good. She had a rough start, but is cruising now. Everything is looking good. I did some more lst on her and defoliation as well. Ok so another frustrating week! So this week I re potted her and moved her into "the big house" under new lights (GN Telos 0010) set at 70cm from canopy and perfect environment controlled by temp and humidity equipment. Now because of the cal mag deficiency I buffered the coco 2 times in an 8 hour soak in 150% calmag solution ph'd to 6.1 prior to transfer. Then after draining and getting to the correct temp I moved her to the new pot and topped with a light A+B feed. A day later I fed with the nutrients listed which includes 1ml/L of calmag and again the same the following day. Run off ph is spot on at 6.2-6.4ph, although it was 6.6 when I checked today and growth is great but this damn limegreen cal mag deficiency seems to be continuing. At this point I am hoping it's damage already done that didn't show when the leaves were young. The bottom leaves dont seem to be getting worse and some of the reddening on the stems has gone so fingers crossed this next week will see a change in green because I'm out of ideas, apart from making a foliar mix and trying that I'm stumped! The only thing I can think of is a flush incase of a nutrient lock out but I cant see that being the case as her nutes have been light. Even now with all the nutes she is getting the EC is only at 1.4. Thanks for reading, any comments/tips welcome as always. Happy growing!

Another flowering week

Defoliated and fully leaf stripped. I am going all out to see what happens. Wedding gelato is a fairly tall plant for my tent and future grows will have to be properly trained and tied down. Live and learn. So far happy with the results from hydro grow. Roots have worked their way into the res so I have added an air bubbler to the submerged roots.

Shes coming along well Branches are getting heavy gonna have to prop some up soon Saw like 3 or 4 amber trichomes. Still looks like she has a little of time left. Unfortunately I have to move so im hoping theyre ready in the next 30-45 days. Smells alot like mashed blueberries more than candy now.

Holy Sunday She is two weeks in flower and grows so vigours. Every Day I keep on tucking the branches under the strings. The Screen is slowly filling up. In 4 or 5 days I will stopp tucking. D42 - The beginning of the second week of flower, and all I did was tighten the LST wires. D43 - I opened the tent today and realized I forgot to fill up the humidifier last night. The RH in the tent was only 29%. Oops! I gave the girl about one liter of compost tea that I started brewing yesterday. D47 - A couple of days ago, I discovered thrips in my other tent, so I sprayed those plants with a chili tincture. Fortunately, I haven't seen any signs of thrips in this tent, but you can never be too careful with those little buggers. However, since this girl is in flower I couldn't spray her. I ordered some predatory mites, and today, they arrived, and I put them into the tents. D48 -The last day of the second week of flower. Not much to report as she is just doing her thing and fattening up the buds.

Our journey is slowly coming to an end. Both Gelatos have developed well, and I'm looking forward to testing them soon. The smell in the box is mind blowing 💚💚💚.

Week 2 for the solo Afghani went smooth. Looked a little slow to develop her first proper set of leaves, but the root development should help speed up her progression. Still feeding off the slow release 444 and is now regularly drinking about 2oz of water every other day. I also spritz the bottom of the outer cup to keep moisture levels high for stretching roots. She's about 36" from the light. Hoping to get a little stretch to make training easier. Added a couple new pics to get the week caught up. Stay tuned, week 3 starts training.

Second week of flower and I defoliated again. There are small bud sites starting to form at the end of week two flower. The apple fritter has fascination which is making the stems grow interestingly with lots of bud sites.

Update the to a 4x8 this week and added a HLG 300 V2 RSpec with the futur vert FM8 flora max 660watts pumping 960 watts now .. Every thing is stacking up an fattening up beautiful in week 4 , The frost is coming out like a snow storm now in to week 5 flower ... I’m very impressed with the bud size on the slurricane ix this early on !!

Hi folks. Day 29 does again topping for two previous topped branches. Same nutrients. Day 32 does some bottom leaves trimmed. Day 35 does set up net and watering with 2L nutrients mix.

Hey two weeks ago me.👏monitor👏and👏correct👏your👏PH👏 Over the past week we've gotten our ph back in balance and have had an explosion of growth. Shes so shaggy at the moment but shes definitely enjoying all those lush leaves and the photons they gobble up. I did pick up on some red stems which led me to micro-nutrient deficiency so I picked up some Dutch Science Nutrients Cal-Mag and will be adding that to every plants feeding plan going forward. I'm gonna let this one stay shaggy for a bit the light doesn't seem to have any trouble penetrating and reaching the flowers so let her enjoy the locks while she can. Soon...... snip snip. In adjusting some LST I accidently broke a stem and topped her. I don't think it will make that much a difference at this point. At least I hope not.😎😎😎

Day 42 flowering: What a start to this update with the #3 Mango cream being ready for harvest NOW!!!. She has been maturing very quickly during the last few weeks and I have been concerned that she was somehow going towards a toxicity issue. Her buds began darkening really early in flower and I thought it looked very different to the others. As the last week has passed I have been looking at her trichrones with the microscope as they oustils had all gone majority brown too. They had mostly clouded and a couple of odd amber spheres were visible too. as the week went on I saw more begin to amber so took her out a day ago too have a dark period before trimmed for drying . She is the first I have ever had this quick in decades of growing !. The video shows her colours off well and her maturity to harvest too. @exoticseeds have a winner here. lol she smells amazing too with a really nice icky sticky feel . I will update her progress once trimmed. #1 is the smaller of the 3 remaining ladies now ansneven with the #4 beingna week behind her she is still the smallest in height. Her buds are nice and chunky and just as we hit the budswell period too , so shebshould finish with some nice sized colas. #2 Mango is a beast of a plant and by far the largest. Her main is a beast of a cola already with the side branching really picking up some size now too. A brilliant example of the strain I think. Her main is really tacky to touch and the nice smell it leaves all over my fingers is mouth-watering now. She should yield very well. #4Mango at day 35 looks very like the #3 plant for her bud appearance. slightly different pheno i think. More like a wedding cake strain but still very nice and colourful. She has been using pellets in the soil mix and just waterings but they are not good in my opinion and I have had to add megacrop to keepnher growing well now I waited as long as I dare to see if the pellets helped in flower but even using the second part of the feed has not helped. The megacrop has already begun to colour them back up to a more healthy green so i am hoping I can keep her happy until harvest now. She is pushing out a very nice fruity smell now too. I am looking forward to trying the photoperiod strains I have from exotic now and will be germinating Herz Og and Quick sherbet in a couple of weeks time for the summer run. Top genetics from a great breeder . Thank you Exotic. ###UPDATE###UPDATE###UPDATE### The Mango cream #3 has been in the dark for the past 48hrs and has now been trimmed and is hanging to dry. She will be dried low and slow now for approx 10-14 days at around 15-17°C in a large cardboard box with a steady air exchange. She has a surprising size and weight to her for such a short time from seed and is as finished as any plant i have harvested before . What an amazing little lady she has been to grow She looked a little stunted initially and soon filled the pot she was in. 20L was way too small for these genetics to flourish and at least a 30L would be my advice.
