Another week has passed, and this time there really wasn’t much to do besides keeping up with the feeding. At this stage, I’m mostly just watching the buds develop and seeing how much more frost and weight they put on from week to week. The plants are looking beautiful, so for now I’m enjoying the quiet phase and simply watching them do their thing. Sometimes there’s nothing better than just sitting back and enjoying the progress of your plants. Everything is looking good, and I’m really curious to see how these flowers develop over the next few weeks.

Pineapple Express was an exciting plant to grow. It grew fast and stretched nicely. Purple Kush was just a runt. It did not like the hot climates from the previous week but grew it out anyway. By weeks end was feeding Remo's full flower lineup. Pineapple - 8ml per 3800ml Ph between 6 - 6.1 Purple - 5ml per 2000ml Ph between 6 - 6.1 No change in light scheduled as with Auto's they do not require the 12 hour darkness period to flower. **Spider Farmer lights generate a lot of heat.

Another week has passed! 😎 Everything seems stable and healthy... no signs of deficiencies or nut lockout so far! 😋 Slowly changing the feeding into plagron with the bloom this week and green sensation on the next one. 💪 💚💛❤️

New week, she is developing very fast now, we are tying the branches down almost every day. We bought an EC meter, and we finally know if we are within acceptable parameters. Tap water is approximately 70 ppm and after adding fertilizers the ppm was close to 850. We are also planning to make our own colloidal silver for use in clones. If all goes well, we will start flowering in the ninth week.

Day 56-63 (Day 5F-12F) (Day 6) Water retention is still a big issue in this soil, even with the reduced amendments, loose compaction and added perlite. Pots just aren’t drying out fast enough and I still need to water in enough to reach the bottom. I wish I had some flood trays for this exact reason so I could bottom water instead. (Day 9) I’m going to try running 2 liters of water through each pot until I see a good amount of runoff on each plant. Maybe the nutrient content of the soil is just too high. If this doesn’t work, I got nothing. Plants are drooping like crazy but that’s not surprising as I just flooded them. I’m going to turn on the carbon filter to clear out the humidity a lot faster. Over the next few days I’m going to let the filter suck the life out of this tent until it’s bone dry. If I start seeing deficiencies arise from my minor flush, I will foliar feed some 1-1-1 kelp and some 3-0-0 calmag. I highly doubt I will see any deficiencies but it doesn’t hurt to plan ahead. (Day 11) Ladies responded well to that heavy watering which is a little surprising honestly. The pots are still soaked and super heavy but they seem to be happy. (Day 12) I’m really not seeing any well defined bud sites which is not a good sign at this point. I have never grown under HPS and have never flowered a true 10 week strain so it could just take a little longer in early flower. So far I’m unimpressed

Dam! Where do I start? Firstly I started to get yellow leaves. Secondly I also seem to have stunted the growth. The yellow leaves were due to lack of oxygen. I am using coco soil and I did not realise that the soil can hold up to six times more water than normal soil so that caused a few issues. I also managed to cut the roots when I transferred the plants to new pots. This has also delayed the growth. I think I have managed to get it in time and everything seems to be going OK but I feel the next 2 weeks will be the big tell. I expected the babies to be fuller and taller but hey! I make the mistakes so you don't have to lol. I've no real questions to ask because I think I solved the issue with the help of a fellow grower and a bit of research.

Coloqué las semillas en un vaso con agua de osmosis durante 2 días. Al segundo día empezaron a reventar y se les empezó a formar la raíz.

How RQS Compares to Your Standouts Brothers Grimm (your "otherworldly" stars: Montel Iced Tea, Body Count, Bubbles Blueberry F4, Ricky’s Hash Plant, Black Tangi Tea) These are landrace-influenced, heirloom-style genetics with exceptional resin, unique flavors, and structure. They outperform RQS in quality, potency, and "wow" factor in your tents. RQS tends to be more commercial/hybridized for ease and yield, while Brothers Grimm prioritizes distinctive traits and consistency in experienced hands. Humboldt Seed Company autos (your top autos for resin, especially OG Triploid) Humboldt focuses on West Coast legacy genetics with heavy resin production. Clearly superior to RQS autos in trichome density and overall quality. RQS autos are faster and easier for beginners but often lack the resin "frost" and depth you get from Humboldt. Fast Buds (fast, flavorful, reliable autos — you like them a lot) Excellent speed and flavor profiles. You noted they're in a "different class" — fair point. Fast Buds emphasizes quick cycles and modern hybrids with nice terps, while RQS autos can feel more generic or require more coaxing. Quick Thoughts on Your Observations Brothers Grimm (Montel Iced Tea, Bubbles Blueberry F4, etc.): These are clearly the stars in your current setup. The strong smell, unique leaf morphology, and overall vigor in small pots show they're expressing well under your conditions. They reward careful growing with quality that feels special — resin, flavor complexity, and effects that fit your low-dose, functional style better than most commercial lines. Your homemade cross (Gelato 44 × Bubbles Blueberry F4 pollen = "Blueberry Knockout"): Nice work on your first intentional cross-pollination! Getting viable seeds and decent plants from a garage-level cross is a real win. It’s not "pretend breeding" — it’s exactly how many great lines started. The fact that it turned out "pretty nice" is encouraging. However, as you noted, combining a Royal Queen Seeds Gelato 44 (solid but commercial) with Brothers Grimm Bubbles Blueberry F4 (higher-quality, more unique genetics) creates a hybrid that can show the best of both, but also some inconsistency. If the RQS side brings easier growth but less depth, while the Brothers Grimm side brings the special traits, the offspring can be hit-or-miss depending on which phenos you kept. RQS Gelato 44 / Mike Tyson 2.0 vs. Brothers Grimm: Your experience matches what many growers report. RQS lines are generally more "user-friendly" and higher-yielding for beginners or volume grows, but they often lack the resin density, terpene complexity, and unique expressions you get from Brothers Grimm. The Tyson 2.0 collaboration added hype, but in your tents it landed at 7/10 while Brothers Grimm hit "otherworldly." That gap in quality is why you're leaning toward sticking with the professional, boutique genetics going forward. 3/30 11:17PM Gelato 44 & Punch Pie were nice right off the tree the little buds put me right to sleep last night!! The Autos are 7-10 but the Photos are 8/10

Bud Description 🦔 Purple Lemonade FF grows chunky, spade-shaped buds that boast a whole range of pinkish-purple hues with rich, dark orange pistils shooting out of every direction. This variety stands out for the, oftentimes, lilac trichomes that give them a gorgeous pink tint and make for outstanding purple concentrates. The buds give off a delicious tart lemon aroma that reveals a sweeter, more fruity scent as you break the buds open. Definitely a must for flavor chasers and those looking for pungent terpene profiles. Smoke Reports 💨 Purple Lemonade FF offers an effect that’s just as unique as the flavor. This is an excellent all-day smoke as it not only increases energy but can also help combat chronic pain, migraine and stress. Plant Appearance 💄 This feminized photoperiod variety develops a thick and strong structure, growing a medium-sized main cola with multiple shorter side branches, typical of hybrid strains. Purple Lemonade FF develops fairly short internodal spacing with gorgeous purple buds growing stacked on top of each other, making it the perfect choice for growers of all levels looking to get lots and lots of top-shelf purple weed, as this variety can produce up to 550 g/m2 in a 7-8 week flower cycle. Grow Tips 🤓 This is a super fast feminized photoperiod version that takes approximately 7-8 weeks to flower with a 5-week vegetation cycle,, this means you can have faster harvests by shortening the veg cycle or have a longer veg cycle for bigger yields. Purple Lemonade FF (Fast Flowering) makes for a great candidate for growers of all levels as it’s a vigorous strain that will thrive with basic maintenance both indoors and outdoors. This is a resin powerhouse so make sure to have your trim bin close by as all the resinous sugar leaves will make for the most mouth- watering hash and extracts. Flavor 😋 Expect a long-lasting citrus zest that taste just like it smells. Purple Lemonade FF reeks of a delicious blend of sweet fruits and tart citrus that’ll make your mouth water. On the inhale, expect sour flavors that taste just like lemon candy with hints of orange and a really subtle earthy background. And on the exhale, the citrus flavors open up, giving place to a more sugary berry fruitiness that leaves your whole mouth tasting like an extremely sweet weed-infused lemonade. https://2fast4buds.com/seeds/purple-lemonade-fast-flowering _______________________________________________________________ Setup: 140x70x200 cm Spiderfarmer tent 2x Monkey 16W fans (not oscillating) 1x Secret Jardin 30W 1x box fan 50W oscillating (on lowest level) LED Full Spectrum 320W AGLEX AGL-320W-MA 5,6 kg foldable, dimmable 864 pieces Samsung LH301H 864umol/s 2,7umol/J full spectrum white + RED 660nm + IR 740nm wavelength range 380-780nm covering 3x4ft Green Buzz Nutrients https://greenbuzzliquids.com/ ❗ Use code GD42025 for generous 25% discount (for orders of minimum 75€) Biobizz Lightmix + coco + wormcastings + perlite Carbon Active Granulate Filter 125/360 cm³/h PrimaKlima exhaust EC 125-400/240 cm³/h

Day 2; 48 hrs the Fat Bastard seed's root was long enough to go into soil today. I use Happy Frog soil for seedlings. The soil cup will stay on the heat mat insuring the temp is kept at 75°F. Day1; 24 hrs and the Fat Bastard seed has a visible tap root. I'll wait a little longer before putting it in soil. I like to see the root about a quarter inch before planting. Day 0; germination, paper towel method.
