Week 8

Week 2 transplanted from solo cups to 5 gal pots an 1 into 7 gal grow bag. Plants had good healthy roots in solo cups..plants keep growing vigorously from the start!!!

This week I just LST and Defoliation again. They so pretty ! And One of them is flowering. I think she must be stressed when changing the pots.

Welcome to my attempt to grow a strawberry sorbet in 30g of Coco... The plan will be to veg her for 21 days once she's out and then straight into a 12/12. No idea how this will go but it is all good fun. The container is in fact a tea strainer with 20 micron mesh. I was hoping it will air prune and I will feed by dunning into a cup of feed so there will be no down pressure on the substrate.

Packing on the trichs now, all expressing their own tings. The cherries Jubilee has a great bud structure nice and dense but has lots of packed in sugar and fan leaves sticking out of the colas. Looks nice but is a bit detrimental to the lower stuff. I’ve defoliated but it really is dense and awkward to trim, so I’ve kinda left it.

The plant with calmag looking issues is growing height still the others seem to be not, one I didnt trim much is growing much denser nugs, with Crystal's sprinkling out much more than the trimmed /more trained plants. The middle plant is yellowing hard after I fed it tapwater for the first time in a long time. Lots of pistols starting to darken, I'll check trichomes next week.. might feed once more at least.

I increased the amount of nuts to: - 0,25 mS/cm - Calimagic - 0,6 mS/cm - BioGrow - ph - 5.8 Started the LST training by day 40 and also took the box that was underneath the pots to increase the light distance.

Note: Little chem-burn this week. Feed just water for 4 days with correct PH and they jumped back. Was not that bad though. Day 21 on flower!

No problems with growth, buds rapidly putting on weight and smell is getting stronger each day! Had to cut down on nutrients slightly as I think was feeding a little more than she could consume. Looks like she will be fully ripened around or on the 8th week. I liked the fact she started with the Durban poison, sweet smell and then as she progressed into flower, the loud, dank Kush slowly creeps up before finally taking over the the sweet smell of the Durban poison. Right now as I wright this, the Kush smell has started to mellow down and mix into a nice sweet nutty scent.

Water change day .. Drinking. 2000 ml each per day.. So 6 days on the nute change... ******************* 2 Buckets done .. 5 Left . I may leave the caramel cream autos until tomorrow , they are drinking slightly less per day , but the big girls are drinkers for sure .... So getting better at mixing nutes, bought giant bag of disposable droppers, god damn so much easier for me . I have visual impairment, and shaky hands from the brain tumors. The visual impairment is bad, but the shakes come and go . I normally get a few good rips on the Dr Dabber Switch before i start to help. But the mixing went much better . less mess and i simply pitched the pipette after each use . YEs i know wasteful .... but for me , for now its what i have to do. 1 pipette for each nute for each bucket, they are cheap enough. This way not contaminating anything, and at the amount im mixing, 3 mils - 20 mils each . Biggest problem i have, and i guess maybe not a bad problem ... I have 4 girls on one side of the 4x9 tent, and 3 on the other. The four on the one side are all Glue Gelato Autos and my lord I can not get to the back left side bucket at all with the amount of foliage. So moved a bucket to the other side to allow me to drop in a pail to do a siphon out and refill. See pictures... So I am 10000% upgrading to the 13 gallon x 8 fall ponic system after this grow ..... THANK GOD the caramel cream autos are half the size and 1 of the glue gelatos is slightly smaller on the right to allow me to move around the tent slightly, and im a lean dude.... But i am surprised each day when i check the progress just how far they have come for my first try ... Still have low expectationsfor crops and yields , but am loving the time learning and getting to know hydroponics. I TOTALLY get when the OG growers say just listen to them they will tell you what they need, legit all i have done is feed, maintain enviroment and observe. positive i can not make the same moistakes i made so far net time just by learning my lessons and understanding better the purpose for each Nute and how to spot when the plants are asking for them . Week 4 and they look amazing • Today (Day 23) I cleaned and calibrated my EC tester (bluelab truncheon) and after mixing the same nutrients as last week the EC was reading 2.8! I was thinking this mixture was coming out at 1.7. Either way the plants are healthy and the EC has not been dropping or rising so I have kept the nutrients the same this week. I will monitor the EC closely through out the week now as 2.8 EC is pretty strong, I might have to dilute the tank, we will see. I will now do tests with the nutrient amounts I used previously and edit the EC leves for the previous weeks. • Second day into week 4 and they have drunk 40L (last week was 35L) of water between them. Thats 4.5L each. The EC level has also dropped to 2.7 from 2.8, so even though it is crazy high they are still taking it. • Midweek and the EC in the tank has risen. I knew it would as it's been set way too high. It was set at 2.8 (by mistake) and it has risen to 3.2. The plants look OK but a little dark. There's no tip burn or anything. I have given them a flush with weak nutrients (1.4 EC). • Midweek and I have noticed a touch of powdery mildew. Caught it really early so I will install a hotbox sulfume. The sulfur will coat the leaves and stop the mildew in its tracks. Watch this space.

Looking nice now taking a bit for feed now The smell is definitely getting stronger now really looking forward the see these baby's in final stage also big shout out the @barnysfarm my seed have arrived today ready for launch. Seedsman 420 grow off! I was sent a pack of blueberry pie f1 fast seeds and I am germinating 1 seed to fill my tent. I already have 3 gorilla gas seeds going and I wanted to do grow another blueberry strain so I'm really excite for this one too. This tent is gonna be filled out with some really nice flower in the near future.

They're all doing well as far as I can tell. I've put a tubular heater in-between the pots that comes on when the lights go off as the temperature drops quick in there. Watering as usual but other than that I only check on them about 15 times a day. I tested the run off water for the first time and was 6.3 pH which is what I put in. Was also the first time I'd even emptied them as they normally just dry up by next feed. There's orange hairs on some of the lower buds now guess they're maturing 🤔 Was looking in to getting a microscope to have a look at the trichomes but tried using my phone camera first which I thought didn't do a bad job 😊 is only a S10 so would imagine the newer phones do an even better job 👍 Have what seems to be a CalMag deficiency in all 3 plants but only just came up in rusty spots from 12am to 6am they just appeared was really pissed off and worried about them all day at work 😪 gave them all a CalMag and 6.5 pH water soak of 500ml each and a 200ml foliar CalMag spray for extra effectiveness haha 🙄 and then gave them their normal feed til run off.. the trays were a bit slimy 🤔 hopefully it sorts itself out and have learnt to just use the CalMag every feed to be sure.

Well the Greenhouse Seeds SSH beans were all bunk so I'm going with the backup Coastal Genetics SSH which on the first bean popped right out. First run in the new BlumenBot Solo!
