Day36, 37, 38: Seems to be growing a set of leaves per day now. Super growth! Stretching to the top. Day39: I had a hiccup with the camera. For some reason it stopped responding at 04:30 in the morning. I only realized it much later. I still don't really know why, but reseating the data ribbon fixed the issue. Day40: After fixing the camera, I decided to take this view again. The Lady is starting to show some nice growth and this view will show it best. If you look carefully, you'll see that her branches are not green, but rather reddish. Definitely related to genetics :) Everything else is within limits. Plus, the leaves look super healthy. Day41: Here you can see the stem colour better.

This is a test-grow of Barbarian, a cross of AK-47 from Serious Seeds with Barbara Bud from from House of the Great Gardener (HotGG) made by Mat, the head-breeder of HotGG, in Canada. I had the honor of getting three test seeds at the Cultiva-Tradeshow in Austria and could not wait to start them after I got home. The two test-plants were grown on soil under HPS and alongside my normal grow of AK-47 plants inside a big Secret Jardin tent and fed with Advanced nutrients.

5/25: It rained again today for most of the day, but I managed to get back out there and take some photos after it let up. I also shot a short video early in the a.m while it was sprinkling and the lights were on... I heard that this strain flowers really fast, but I really don't think she can finish before June 21 (the summer solstice). The other two seedlings (FFT#6 and FFT#7) are in the same boat. The 5 clones outdoors might be able to finish before they get the signal to reveg. I may end up bringing as many of them as I can fit into my closet to finish and starting another batch of beans to grow outdoors this summer... 5/26 - 5/31: I did some training on her early in the week between rain showers, and foliar fed with Microlife maximum bloom formula. She's more than 36" across now... She was looking a little N deficient, so I assume the dry amendments have petered out. I top-fed her with another couple tablespoons of cavern culture and on the 31st, they were dry enough to feed them. I gave them big bloom, tiger bloom, grow big, beastie bloomz, silica, endoboost, signal, humic acid, liquid kelp/fish emulsion, and liquid molasses. It just feels so strange that I'll be harvesting outdoor photos in June!?! That's it for week 8-

Week 13 - Flowering Week 4 The cycle look well advanced. All plants are producing quantities of pistils like the Royal Gorilla or Bubble Gum. Some aphids are still around but infestation seems under control. I sprayed Neem oil to repulse insects and defoliated. I added more nutrients in the soil (Palm Tree Ashes) and in Water: pk 13/14, flowering stimulator. Watering each 2 or 3 days 80cl/plant -Cal/Mag + Pk 13/14 + flowering nutrients -Cal/Mag + Bud XL + flowering nutrients -Cal/Mag + Over Drive + flowering nutrients Plants report: -CaliFunk the most advanced: flowers are frosty, resinous and getting thicker. But this plant is very short and only the 4 main buds are correct. -Royal Gorilla stopped to produce long pistil and started the final stage. -Ak 47 is flowering slowly, buds are long but not thick for the moment: elegant Sativa -Bubble Gum look great, dynamic and homogeneous flowering: well engaged -Green Punch after damaged is producing some flower + one bud…. -Sour Diesel is a pretty good surprise: interesting flowering: slow but progressive (Sativa dominant). The smell in the grow-tent is a strange and strong Mix between this 6 different strains.

It's surprising how well this little Northern Light is doing considering the 400ml pot and organic nutrients! I'm a proud parent 😊

Allora.... Questa settimana ha ripreso veramente tanto! La settimana scorsa era rimasta un po' indietro rispetto le sue amiche (diverse genetiche) ma adesso ha veramente dato il suo scatto è ha rivelato che è all'altezza delle sue compagne di crescita! Anche lei sembra che si stia iniziando a riempire bene e ho deciso di togliere qualche internodo centrale per favorire l'areazione ed evitare eventuali sorprese di muffe più in là( anche se non ho mai avuto problemi meglio prevenire che curare)...non vedo l'ora che si inizi a gonfiare un po' perché sono molto curioso di questa genetica! Ha un 29% di THC quindi dovrebbe essere adatta a me .... speriamo bene e incrociamo le dita! Nel frattempo volevo ribadire la potenza di questi prodotti di Cannaboom! Sto usando tutta la linea full cream (con qualche aiuto della linea minerale tipo il loro CALMAG(SI) ) che oltre ad essere un semplice Cal Mag contiene anche silicio e ferro! Veramente adatto a le piante per fare assimilare meglio potassio e fosforo! Credetemi che con solo due applicazioni ho potuto vedere delle differenze esuberanti! Infatti speromtanto di continuare a usare i loro prodotti perché mi stanno veramente aiutando a spaccare questa growbox da 100x100! Quindi ancora grazie a CANNABOOM! Germinated 20 seeds only 8 seeds popped contacted ice head seeds they sent replacements out within 48 hours. Running these seeds in x2 Wilma 8 pot systems , manually feeding them for the first two weeks while they are young. Also for the first week I will be using a 400w hid light starting at a distance of 1 meter away as to not shock the seedlings while gradually moving the light closer throughout the week until I reach the optimal distance of 24 inches by around day 5. Also I am running the lights on 24/7 for the first week to help accelerate growth Note: advanced nutrients ph perfect is not ph perfect had to manually drop the ph from 7.1 to 5.8 quite disappointing .

Dia 1 de vegetación Veg1, cuando empiezan a crecer las primeras hojas de mas de un dedo/puntas considero que han dejado de ser plantulas, y han comenzado la vegetación. Entonces, les he dado su primer alimento con nutrientes muy suaves(micro, grow y bloom) en una EC de 0.5, con pH de 6.2, ademas de seguir inoculando la tierra y raices que vienen desarrollando con voodoo juice, tarantula y piranha, con 1/2 de fuerza. Veg2, riego con 0.3 EC y pH 6.1, desde el primer riego están creciendo más rápido. Veg3, riego con 0.6 EC y pH 6.0, primer riego con suficiente agua para obtener drenaje, el drenaje midió 1.2 EC y 6.5 pH, todo ok. Veg4, nada hoy. Veg5, riego con 1.2 EC y pH 6.2, se usó Sensi CalMag en este riego @2ml/litro por un poco de amarillo en el nuevo crecimiento, B-52 también. Veg6, siguen creciendo bien, al parecer se corrigió lo amarillo en las hojas. Veg7, riego con 0.7 EC y 6.0 pH, drenaje de 1.1 EC (ok) y 6.6 pH (un poco alto), siguientes riegos serán con pH 5.8. Subí la luz y bajé su intensidad para que las plantas estiren un poco antes del transplante, las raíces de la más pequeña estaban ok, la más pequeña fue sacrificada, ya van quedando 11 de las 9 plantas finales. Ahora a esperar que se desarrollen suficiente(3-4 sets de hojas verdaderas) para hacer transplante a la maceta definitiva de 18 litros.
