At the end of week 11 of vegetation the blackberry cake feminised is doing well. She has not recovered completely but she’ll be fine to bloom. She will need further treatment to the substrate ie drying out. The lady has been slightly defoliated as I took the bottom leaves away. The substrate has been loosened to introduce more co2 to the roots. The stem is stalk like and the is new growth on the leaves. She has grown a steady 4cm this week and she’s standing at 57cm tall the blackberry cake feminised is ready for bloom!

This week, I gave my plants more fertilizer to test if they show any signs of burning. Now, I'm stressed out! I think I should give myself some seaweed to relieve the stress 😂 The girls show signs of calcium deficiency. I sprayed a small amount of calcium and magnesium on them to help them recover faster. I’m not sure why the new leaves are very pale. Could they be lacking iron? I think the high soil moisture might be causing issues with iron absorption, but I’m not completely sure. I’ll wait and see what happens this week. Considering that I use regular water, I expected them not to have a calcium deficiency.

Look at the video Weds was an explosion of growth. I tried a higher ambient temp on Thursday to dry out the medium and see how she would respond growth seamed to slow so it's back to 70F mornings slowly bring it up to 78F-80F for mid day. Watering every 48 hours early morning when light comes on or right before, Friday was flush 20% nutes 2 gals. LST seamed to slow growth too so I just let it do its own natural thing.

D35: strain is very fast not sure how soon harvest will be but it'll be around day 50 I'm assuming. Nice colours from the recent cool nights. Buds are nice and look very easy to trim. Comparable so far to a few of the other ones I've grown like the Big Kush.

What a fun experience! This was my first time trying a mixed grow style of synthetics and organic. I think I may have found my new go-to strategy. This definitely wasn't a perfect run by any means - as a matter of fact, I botched the feedings earlier in her life. However this grow definitely taught me a lot more about how to treat this strain properly. Now I'm running her clones in the 3x3x6. So the legacy will continue! In this dairy I will be growing two, Critical + photoperiod plants alongside 4 others (see other dairies) using the methods of Topping, Low Stress Training, ScrOG and slight defoliation under the screen. I am growing in a 4x4 area and will be using a 250W MH, 400W & 600W HPS over the grow period. The other 4 plants will be grown using the same technique and environment, I am just splitting the dairies into separate strains as recommended by GrowDairies. The seeds were placed directly into solo cups that were pre-soaked with plan, pH'd water overnight beforehand. After three days all seedlings had emerged, and I placed them in the shadow of my other plants currently being grown for three more days. After this I transplanted them directly into the 11L pots that they will be in until harvest (see photos). I will be growing the plants until the are roughly 6 weeks old or 1m tall, whichever comes first. I will be bending them and keeping the branches low to build an even canopy, so this time period could change. All of the seedlings are being grown in BioBizz all-mix soil, so I will not be using nutrients either for the first 1-2 weeks. Any questions or recommendations, please let me know! Thanks :)

I was under watering quite a bit in an attempt to make sure I didn’t flush out the benes and nutrients of the super soil. Ironically, I might have killed all the benes. Lol. Either way, they’re getting about 1 gal every other day now. Growing strong. Just did another spinosad treatment. I haven’t seen any more thrips in the greenhouse since the first treatment 10 or so days ago. Saw a leaf hopper in there though 😡

Started the flush on the skittles The runtz is having a mega growth spurt and is growing very quick, lots of bud sites. Little ethos is still a baby lol but hopefully will be a beast 🙏
