63 days since my little girl sprouted from seeds🌱 Ninth week of growing my Apple Fritter Automatic 🍎🍏🍎 Nutrients: As I mentioned last time, I switched to mostly organic nutrients from Plagron and Biobizz💓 - but now I flush the plant and use this product for that: Terra Aquatica FlashClean - T.A. FlashClean is a specially designed cleaning system that removes (dissolves) salt residues from fertilizers, but also allows new nutrients to bind between the plants and the system. These properties help plants make the most of the nutrients contained in fertilizers, especially in the crucial period before harvest 💦🌊💦 ---------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------- BioBizz Bio pH - is an organic pH regulator. An aqueous solution of citric acid, which is naturally found in citrus fruits 🍋🍋 - I didn't use it this time because the pH of the dressing was 6.5+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Terra Aquatica pH Test Kit - Very reliable, easy to use and inexpensive. The pH test kit conveniently replaces expensive pH meters. It includes a wide range from 4.0 to 8.5. 🌈 Overall: Apple Fritter Automatic 🍎🍏🍎 - The girl is covered in sugar buds 🌺🌼🏵️💮 Her main bud is thick, thick and still getting fat. The buds are slightly pinkish in color, but it's distorted because she's completely covered in white sticky snow ❄️🌨️❄️ When I take her out of the tent, she quickly perfumes the whole apartment with her fruity and sweet notes 💚🍎 Since one place in the tent has become free, because one of her sisters has already ripened, the apple tree now has enough space to sunbathe on her long branches. Training: The girl doesn't need training at all anymore. There wasn't even a need to cut off any leaves. Yesterday the girl got water with a flush to clean herself of salts. She already looks very tasty 💚🌞🌞 Light: Mars Hydro TS1000 The plants respond effectively and the light is technically very well managed - I try to have 18 cm between the light and the plants, so I move it up regularly 💡💡💡 Thanks for the likes :) See you soon 😍😍

Placing a dehumidifier or humidifier in the grow box turned out to be ineffective when both devices have their own automated settings. For instance, a humidifier set to 55% humidity works within a ±5% range, meaning it waits until the humidity drops below 50% to turn on and runs until it hits 60%. Since its sensor refreshes every 30 seconds, it might show 54% one moment and jump to 61% the next—not exactly stable at 55%. The dehumidifier behaves similarly. To achieve more consistent results, it’s better to rely on a hygrometer inside the grow box and use “dumb” devices that simply turn on when powered. Connecting these devices to smart outlets provides more precise control. For manual control, I maintained around 55% humidity by turning the humidifier and exhaust fan on and off via phone. Most moisture and aroma are released during the first three days, then taper off. The common rule of “when thin branches snap, it’s dry” led me to overdry my buds. A more reliable method is to monitor the hygrometer. When humidity stabilizes after the initial rise, wait one more day and then jar the buds. Rehydrating Overdried Buds: Overdried buds can be revived with a small piece of mandarin (or orange) peel, about 2.5x2.5 cm. Thoroughly wash the peel (even sanitize it if needed), cut a square, and place it on top of the buds in the jar. In my experience, this brought the humidity from 46% to 62% within 4 hours. Afterward, burp the jars for 15 minutes and monitor the hygrometer. If the humidity drops below 55%, return the peel for a few more hours. Once stable at 60-62%, remove the peel and continue curing, burping the jars twice daily for 15 minutes. As for humidity packs like Integra Boost or Boveda, I used them because I had some lying around. These packs are designed for 12 grams of product, so they don’t make a big difference in larger jars. If you burp jars daily and gently rotate the buds, they’re not really necessary. Trimming and Results: After 7 days of drying, I decided to trim dry this time. It turned out to be somewhat more convenient—everything gets covered in resin anyway, but the remaining leaves easily fall off, speeding up the process. I went for a tight trim, removing as much as possible. During the process, I felt disappointed seeing how little remained on the branches. The buds turned out airy and small, and I started cursing American genetics halfway through the trim. However, when it came to weighing, the results were surprisingly decent. Considering the buds' poor appearance, they’re not going to impress anyone visually, so it might have been easier to shred everything and use it for extraction. I don’t have extraction equipment, so I’ll make cannabutter from the trim, and the buds can rest in jars for now. Takeaways: Use a proper hygrometer for humidity control, not built-in sensors on humidifiers or dehumidifiers. Overdried buds can be easily rehydrated with citrus peel. Daily burping and rotation are sufficient for curing without humidity packs. Dry trimming can be faster and more convenient but may highlight issues with bud density. Despite underwhelming appearance, high resin content makes the strain great for extraction.

2/4: Photo session day! These are the fastest, most vigorously growing plants in the garden, but also the slowest to flower.😕 I had a total infestation of Cattus (felis) which I documented in my photos. Eradication seems impossible, so I'm opting to allow a degree of predation, but hoping trichome production will, at least, deter them soon.😁 2/5: I fed everybody today with about 3/4 gallon and sprayed them down with Axiom harpin proteins for the last time this run. I made a DIY CO2 generator today using a 5 gallon cat litter bucket, a small aquarium pump, some air line tubing, and a bubble stone, plus 6 cups of sugar and 30 grams of wine yeast in 2 gallons of warm water. I put the tube where the CO2 is exhausted up against the back of the oscillating fan that aims down over the plants so they are being constantly forcefully bombarded with high levels of CO2(1300+ppm) from above. I set the ac infinity controller to allow the temps to climb up to 89f before the fan turns on. 2/6: These girls are taller than anybody else in the garden, and still stretching (unfortunately). Surprisingly, they're also the slowest to pop pistils. They are flowering, but slow as hell for an indica dominant strain. I probably should have left them all in the dark for a full day when I switched to flower to encourage them to flip faster. I bought some Gro-Pro pot risers to elevate the pots so that they will dry out faster..seem pretty effective. 2/7: I foliar fed with big bloom and tiger bloom today. 2/8: I ordered a second 6" AC Infinity fan to connect to my controller, some ducting, and a diffuser which I'll mount to the wall, down near the floor. The fan unit will be in another closet, adjacent to the garden closet, and I'll run ducting up through that closet ceiling into the attic, with a filter on the end to keep bugs and particulates out. For the next 6 weeks or so, it will provide a supply of colder fresh air. I did the math, and it will now only take about 1 minute and 40 seconds to completely exchange the air in the closet. Depending on the outside air temp at the time, it should take anywhere between 8 and 20 minutes for the closet to heat back up to 80f and the fans to kick back on again. This Spring, on days when it's not cooler than 72f, I'll disconnect the duct in the closet and stretch it into that bedroom, clipped to the window unit air conditioner output, cranked down as low as it will go. This Summer, I'm gonna just run a pair of the quantum boards and grow 4 or 5 autos in there, but this should help keep the temps cooler in summer as well, without dedicating an air conditioner to the grow op.🙏 2/9: I foliar fed them with grow big, big bloom, and tiger bloom and checked moisture in their pots. They're due for a good watering tomorrow.

Saw a weee bit of the hints of nutrient burn on some of the leaves. The other day i tested pH and it rode up to 6.8 to 7.0 so i wanted to run a little extra water through and out the bottoms of the pots for a bit of a flush. I pH'd the water to 6.00 exactly with about 900 ppm mix in each bucket. I ran 5 Liters through each 3 gallon fabric pot and allowed 5 minutes or so for drainage. Then put them back in their saucers and back in the tent. I jammed a bamboo stake down into the roots ripping and tearing roots apart as i go muuahahahahaha! They gonna be chunky fuckers in a few weeks they'll need the support. Next watering, Thursday. Perhaps a 650ppm mix then. I'll check pH tomorrow and the fuckers better be back down where i want them! OR ELSE! lol Seeyaz next week! Growing weed is easy. Only dimwits make it complicated.

Transplanted this clone to her 5gal final pot as she was begging for more room! I’m using a homemade living soil for this grow with all of the good stuff! I allowed it to cook for around a month before using so it should be ready to go! I made the mistake of feeding plain RO water right before transplanting.. I underestimated how much she was eating while in the 1gallon pots. A couple days after transplant it was obvious she suffered. She has a slight calmag deficiency which should be corrected as soon as her roots start to venture out into the custom soil blend I made. The soil should have plenty of calcium and trace minerals because I used oyster shell flour, soluble grade gypsum, basalt and a lot of worm castings. Hopefully she doesn’t suffer through deficiencies much longer and will start to recover. Only time will tell! Thanks for stopping by!

Our Black Runtz by Zamnesia has reached 16 buds. I'm growing them a little more to make sure they don't go into flowering with small brunches but we're almost there, a few days and they'll go into flowering. She's a plant with a low internodal distance, they're not the most suitable for topping due to the slow response of the mini brunches but you just need to let them grow a little and not go into flowering straight away to get an excellent result anyway. As a general rule but very general plants with a low internodal distance are less suitable for the application of the techniques unlike plants with a wide internodal distance which are very easy to handle, they grow more slowly and can reach excellent dimensions even if worked with techniques that keep them low. The Topping worked very very well the plant at the moment of topping went slightly into overfertilization due to the evident slowdown in growth, so I slowed down the fertilizer for growth but without making her go into crisis we are starting to give fertilizer again. When topping is a delicate moment it is probably better to do what I explain below with this plant I managed to keep myself more balanced the others for a week were in quite evident over. The ideal when topping repeatedly is probably to start with a soil fertilized with gradual release or in fact start preparing the soil for a period that is at least enough for the vegetative phase at most by adding a bit of alga grow which alone I must admit gives me some problems at least in this case if the plant grows straight much less indeed nothing. We are always using soil, feeding and all the recommended additives from Plagron 100% organic, we have only lowered the amount of grow in this topping phase for the reasons mentioned above. ---- Decide on the right soil and calculate your fertilizer sheet based on the soil on the official website. -- www.plagron.com Try a seed of this strain that drives us crazy.. -------- https://www.zamnesia.io/en/11159-zamnesia-seeds-black-runtz.html Zamnesia Description // Black Runtz comes from a truly legendary genetic pool. Our breeders used three modern classics from the United States to create this strain: Zkittlez, Gelato, and Runtz. With 20% THC and flavors of grapes and berries, Zkittlez passed on her delicious flavors and relaxing effects. Gelato contributed to Black Runtz's immense flavor profile by passing on high concentrations of the terpenes limonene and humulene. Finally, Black Runtz inherited the high potency of the original Runtz, a strain with a respectable 21% THC. The end result of this 3-way cross is a strain with 55% indica genetics and 45% sativa. Black Runtz boasts rapid flowering times, high potency, and contrasting yet balanced terpenes that supports its delicious flavor profile.
