Project Titan (outdoors on northwest facing balcony)
Planted on Monday, germinated on Thursday. So I had 3 days of looking for some action in the grow medium. Today it showed up. I created an improvised shelter to keep humidity high and protect it against birds. (Those sparrows here have a passion for cannabis- see my critical report for damage pictures of stolen leafs and damaged sidebranches )
Day 1: after germination: Wow she has speed! First fan leaves emerged
After 3weeks of holiday I came back and was thrilled to see this beautiful growth! She is the highest plant this season- reaching up to 70cm! Early flowering stage-so it will be 4-5 weeks to go.
Realised the weather conditions: over night there is 80% plus humidity- so I am starting to fear bud rot… but I have no plan b the lady will stay outside…
Furthermore I realized titan is only having 5h of direct sunlight. From 15:00-20:00. not really intense… Also it looks like buds are foxtailing. Pretty sure this is due to the little sun exposure…
Feeding during the week: Tuesday and Friday 1l of the mixture mentioned in nutri
All good, buds are packing on weight. Feeding will be 3 times this week, afterwards it should be enough nutrients in the soil till finish.
Smell is getting stronger, i like the scent! It’s not skunky more fruity and minty.
I removed the lower fanleaves. Maybe I will cut the Upper fanleaves at the end of the week. We will see. I will update over the week.
Humidity over nights is constantly above 80% currently. I have no idea how to get the Lady in a more dry environment… so this is a real test concerning her mold resistance…
And the hours of direct sunlight are going down towards 4h soon… it is a race against time…
Wednesday: today it’s windy. Added a video.
Friday: a lot of pollen from the trees around in my buds… maybe I will try to pick the shit out of my beautiful flowers…
The buds getting bigger… maybe i will harvest end of next week to reduce the risk of mold….
Hi there and thanks for stopping by.
Monday: I removed all big fanleaves. The windy weather other the last days made them hanging on the buds and I am maximum feared of bud rot. I’m thinking about cutting it down soon. Most trichoms look milky I would say…
Thursday: I checked the weather forecast: the next 3 days will have average humidity over 65% so I have decided to harvest before bad things happen to these beautiful flowers. Will cut it down in evening… most trichomes are milky (70%) 27% still clear and maybe 3% are light brown.
Easy to grow! ( I left her alone for 3 weeks with just plain water via solar watering system) .
Not too smelly, but nice and hard to define.
On harvest she explodes with heavy smell but that’s normal I guess.
She only had 6h sunlight during veg and only 4h towards the end. Considering the given conditions she was developing perfectly! Most people say that it’s impossible to grow below 6h! Proved them wrong!
