🌱🔥 WEEK 6 → ENTERING WEEK 7 VEG UPDATE! 🔥🌱 The Ladies Are Really Starting To Fill This 4×4 Up! 😮‍💨🌿 After Topping, Training, And Spreading The Plants Out, The Canopy Is Finally Starting To Look Like The Vision I Had In Mind. I’m Sitting At 5 Plants In 5-Gallon Containers, And The Goal Has Been To Build A Wide, Even Canopy Before The Flip Instead Of Letting Everything Grow Straight Up. 💪🏽🌱 I’d Give The Overall Canopy A 9/10 Right Now. 👌🏽🔥 There’s Still Some Space Around The Edges, But I Actually Like Having A Little Room For The Stretch. I’d Rather Have Some Empty Real Estate Going Into Flower Than Have Five Plants Fighting Each Other For Light And Airflow. The Recent Spreading Has Made A HUGE Difference In Light Distribution. 💡🌿 🍪 Whipped Biscuit — 9/10 Whipped Biscuit Is Looking 🔥! She’s Got A Really Nice Branching Structure And A Good Number Of Potential Tops Developing Across The Plant. I Especially Like How The Training Has Opened Her Up Instead Of Letting Everything Stack Directly On Top Of Each Other. She’s Looking Healthy, Bushy, And Ready To Take Advantage Of The Stretch. 🍪🌱💪🏽 🍰 Ice Cream Cake — 8.5/10 Ice Cream Cake Is One Of The More Compact Plants In The Tent, But She’s Filling Out Nicely. 🍰🌿 The Structure Is Tight, The New Growth Looks Healthy, And She’s Starting To Catch Up With The Rest Of The Canopy. I’m Expecting The Stretch To Help Her Fill Some Of The Remaining Gaps Once Flower Starts. Definitely One I’m Watching Closely. 👀🔥 ? Chicken N Wafflez — 9/10 Chicken N Wafflez Is Looking THICK! ?🔥 She Has A Nice Bushy Structure With Plenty Of Healthy Growth Points And A Strong Overall Shape. The Training Has Given Her A Much Wider Footprint, And She’s Starting To Look Like She’ll Be A Serious Contributor To The Canopy Once She Starts Stretching. 🌱💪🏽 👑 Space Queen — 9.5/10 Space Queen Is Still One Of My Standouts. 👑🔥 She’s Got Great Structure, Strong Growth, And A Really Nice Spread Across The Canopy. She’s Been One Of The More Vigorous Plants From Early On, And You Can Still See That In Her Structure. This One Has Flower Producer Written All Over Her. 😮‍💨🌱👑 🍬 Candy Machine — 9/10 Candy Machine Is Looking 🔥🍬! She’s Got A Nice Wide Shape And Plenty Of Healthy New Growth Coming Through. The Training Has Really Helped Open Her Up, And She’s Starting To Match The Rest Of The Tent Nicely. I’m Really Interested To See How Her Structure Translates Into Flower Because She’s Got A LOT Of Potential Tops Developing. 🍬🌿🔥 💡 LIGHT + CANOPY UPDATE I’ve Also Been Paying Close Attention To Light Coverage. The Highest Points Are Currently Sitting Pretty Close To The Light, But The Actual PPFD At The Canopy Is Still Around The 700 Range, So I’m More Concerned With Getting Good Light Distribution Across The Entire Canopy Than Simply Cranking The Plants Into The Fixture. 💡🌱 I Recently Spread The Plants Out More To Give The Light Better Reach Across All Five Plants, And I’m Really Happy With The Difference. The Canopy Is Looking Much More Even Now. 👌🏽 🌱➡️🌸 WHAT’S NEXT We’re Officially At The End Of Week 6 / Entering Week 7 Of Veg, Which Means The Flip Window Is Getting VERY Close. 😮‍💨🔥 At This Point I’m Not Trying To Completely Fill Every Square Inch Before Flower. I Want Enough Structure To Take Advantage Of The Stretch Without Creating A Humid, Overcrowded Jungle. 😂🌿 Five Plants. Five 5-Gallon Pots. One 4×4. LET’S SEE WHAT THESE LADIES CAN DO. 🏕️🌱🔥 Whipped Biscuit 🍪 9/10 Ice Cream Cake 🍰 8.5/10 Chicken N Wafflez ? 9/10 Space Queen 👑 9.5/10 Candy Machine 🍬 9/10 Overall Canopy: 9/10 🌿🔥

3/03/2021 - Seeds arrived - I let one seed soak in distilled water for 12 hours. Room temperature. The other seed will go straight into a moist paper towel tomorrow. 3/04/2021 - After 12 hours of soaking I moved the seed to a moist paper towel and put in a ziploc bag. I also started another Seedsman Blueberry seed (didn’t soak it as an experiment). I put the ziploc bags in a warm dark spot. I will check it in 24 hours. 3/5/2021 - The seed I let soak for 12 hours has started to root. I’m going to let the tap root get a little bigger before I transfer it to a rock wool cube. I will check the seeds in 6 hours. Well 6 hours later the non soaked seed broke open and exposed a small tap root. Tomorrow they should be ready for rock wool cubes. 3/6/2021 - Moved the seeds to rock wool cubes. We observed that the seed that did not soak, rather just placed into moist paper towels, had the first sprout. We made sure to put root down first with spout over the top of the rock wool. 3/7/2021 - Both seeds have sprouted and are in the humidity dome. They will continue to grow until I see roots. 3/8/2021 - The sprouts look great! We will let them grow until roots appear from the bottom of the cubes. The 3rd cube in the dome is another Seedsman Blueberry we will be growing as a mother plant for clones. 3/9/2021 - Not really much to report. They seem to have stopped stretching and are taking shape nicely. I will continue to keep them in the humidity dome until they root out of the bottom. 3/10/2021 - Today all 3 seedlings had roots showing in the rock wool. I transplanted each one into solo cups filled with Fox Farm Happy Frog. I noticed the cubes were soaked and over watered. The soil will dry it out and I will start feeding them Fox Farm Big Bloom.

Need to replace last hydro system 'cause pump from china isn't a good deal... more simple to use/ to don't have issues with DWC and less scaring moments when put my finger in solution and and device plugged is in all growing fast and there's nothing i can do now unless waiting flower time (and add Cal Mag next week :D) Don't want to practice LST/defoliation unless every one have her space don't want to topping nothing at all (bad experience with auto) Any suggest? Italian fruit is an autoflowering lady ready in four months with loong flowering season. (30% ruderalis :O) (Solution is micro adv base /Humic/Voodoo/Zym) Waiting Co2 System with timer (solenoid switch) from Aliexpress to give about 5/55 - extraction/co2 (per Hour) some algae trying to grow on soil during long session of CO2 Bye!

Aug 10: Blueberry Pie F1 Fast is doing great. Three weeks now moving her into the garage which is enough, and now I can just leave her in the yard which is easier and scores another couple hours of sunlight per day. Nice solid start to flowering, and I like the schedule used this year for the force flowering. This strain is delivering on the promise of being big and fast. Bright sunny day and I’ve got the UV lights on. About five hours today with the UV lights at mid-day. Buds are looking really good. The bud development after 3 weeks is amazing. The buds got visibly much fatter just today. Compared to some fast plants in previous years, this one is about 2-3 weeks ahead. Very well suited to short season outdoor growing, but partially due to full darkness in the garage rather than just phyto-forcing with the far red light as I did last year. I’m still using the far red light, but putting them in the garage provides more darkness and helps get strong flowering started. Aug 12: nice fat buds forming quickly, gotta like that. Aug 14: fast, fast, fast. Flowers are progressing quickly. Added three tablespoons of a 50:50 mix of Power Bloom and malted barley. Added as top dressing and then watered in. Aug 16: cool, overcast all day, a bit of rain and smoky so not a nice mid-August day. Rain should help but out some fires in northeast BC, Yukon, and northwest Alberta. maybe. BC needs rain to break their record drought. #seedsman420growoff #seedsmanseeds

I loved it. Grew some really nice buds, produced an amazing smell that filled the room once I opened my tent. The buds are really sticky, trichomes looked amazing they were about 75% cloudy when I cut her down.

¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte! 💪

Topped them end of last week, still not given them feed as the farmyard manure they were planted straight into seems to be giving them what they need so far, I've given them rain water when they needed it. Hopefully the sun will return this coming week 🌞

Day 42-49 (Day 42) Just watered today but couldn’t go until runoff because I didn’t have enough RO. I forgot to add the probiotic too. Nonetheless, everything is starting to recover from those weird deficiencies and is looking super healthy. Plants are really bushing out now too. I had to top the zkittlez and BBB#3 again as they are just getting too big. Nothing is definitively showing sex yet but I’m seeing clues. Shouldn’t be long now. If I get 4 females or less I will use 10gal pots, 5-7 fem 5gal pots and 8-12 3gal pots. I need to stop overwatering. Even though it doesn’t look too overwatered, it is much better to water a little bit each day at lights on. This will help keep the humidity down as well as deliver optimal oxygen to the roots speeding up plant growth considerably. (Day 45) Gave an EM1 spray down today. The beneficial bacteria is said to overpopulate surfaces so powdery mildew and septoria can’t form. Something seems to be really working as I haven’t seen any yet. (Day 47) I sealed up the tent and am running both dehumidifiers and it’s keeping the RH around a safe 70% night and day which is right on track with VPD. Plants are all looking super healthy. Deficiencies have pretty much all cleared up. Cold nights I’m running 600w and warmer nights I’ll run 400w. I was asking around Instagram about white ash/good burn and a few different people assured me it has to do with mineral content of the soil. I was told the three best products for clean ash is glacial rock dust/basalt, oyster shell flour and langbeinite. I already have langbeinite so I’ll grab the other amendments today and top dress. I grabbed the amendments and also got some Destiny Organics dark matter super soil, coco and some beneficial nematodes. Top dressed each amendment except langbeinite and mulched in some coco coir. (Day 48) My shelf came in today and I think it may be to big for the 4x4 tent. Each square is 12”, not the 11.8” advertised. I could wipe down my flower room and set it up in there which would give my plants a good adjustment to the new lights before I flip. Or I could set it up in the veg tent but that seems like a huge hassle as the need to be moved and flipped soon anyway. I wish they would show sex already so I can toss out the plants I’m not keeping. For flower I am considering starting over fresh with the new Destiny soil and coco mixed with some amendments. I’m concerned that my current mix might be too hot. I could also dilute it with the Destiny/coco mix. Those little bulb mites that came in with the worm castings are a little concerning as well. Some say they are just beneficial composters aka “worm bin mites” and others are telling me they’re predatory bulb mites which destroy crops like garlic. I’m leaning towards beneficial composters but in another grow I watched them devour a seedling before it sprouted. Gotta check the current roots but the plants aren’t quite ready to be transplanted. (Day 49) Got everything in the flower tent wiped down and sprayed with alcohol then EM1 few hours later. Got the shelf set up and got all my temp controls set up and running. I put the controllers outside the tent this time and will patch any light leaks. Gave a lite compost tea at 830ppm and a velokelp foliar spray at 6ml/L. This will be the last veg feeding before I transplant into their final containers on the 31st. BCTG#2 is a confirmed male and I pulled him. No one else is showing definitively. Roots looked super healthy with very few mites but I’m not 100% convinced they’re all clean. I saw a few mites on leaves today too. Saw a bit of droop after the move but they all look happy just a few hours later. Took a few clones from some sucker branches on a few of the blackberries.

This is the beginning of week 3 in bud. I’ve decided to not put the ATF plant in my bud room this round. I’m hoping she will just keep growing slow and my clones will eventually catch up with her so they can all go in together next round. The buds have definitely starting to swell up this past week. They all seem to have bounced back from their week 2 lollipopping. I’m very excited for this Melato in the back. She’s obviously outgrown the other 2 strains I have in the room currently. She’s also started throwing off the most smells as well. With some really strong indica OG gas smells. But other than that, everything normal this week. Just plain PHed water every other day. Thanks for checking out the garden. 🤙

Kinda a leggy one. Leaves are okay, stalk not mis-colored, just trying to get the conditions right. I have other beans going, but this one seems to be lacking something. No, issues, so I’m not going to push it. We relocated the family to the basement. I have a trellis that is almost full and I think I’m past the point I needed to be. The temps are a little lower so we will see what happens.
