How are we!!? This diary starts off with 4 seeds germinated using the paper towel and ziplock bag method. Placed on a heat mat and covered so they’re in the dark. Successfully all four seeds popped although the White RuntZ took a while longer. Once popped they’re were placed in one inch rockwool cubes and put inside plastic seedling tray with clear cover. After they started getting leggy I planted into clay pebbles in my mushroomtech 4 pot RDWC system. Few times a day they are top fed until roots touch the water.

Getting closer to harvest. Very excited. I think I will wait until the third week of October to harvest. I gave them the last nutes I am willing as of now. Flush time is about to begin. I was never able to lower my soils ph below 7.

D50. The start of the fourth week of flower, and all is well in the tent. ------------------------------ D51. I noticed a few necrotic spots on a couple of leaves. I suspect that it's a Calcium deficiency. I ordered some Biobizz Cal-Mag, hoping to stop the problem from spreading when it gets here in a couple of days. I also calibrated my Hygrometer since I've noticed lately that it seemed a bit off. Sure enough, it was off by 7%. ------------------------------ D54. There's not much to report as she is just doing her thing without any help from me. The necrotic spots haven't spread even though I haven't added any cal-mag. What I see, though, is senescence starting, but according to RQS, Purplematic can finish in as little as eight weeks. I haven't checked her trichomes yet but will once I get back, as I'm going out of town for a week, and she will be left to her own devices. ------------------------------

Day 44 - The smell is divine, and the buds are looking very pretty. Beautiful fade going on in the leaves, almost like a purple/red/black. Planning to tapper down the nutrients as we are coming closer to Harvest. Crucial to keep the pH in range during flowering and being away a few days, I wasn't able to correct it until I was back. So they were drinking more water than uptaking nutrients.. leaving a high EC in the system. Corrected the issue by adding plain RO water, treated with cleanse, no nutrients. They are now on track and could do with a last defoliation, but I've been holding it off. Will get around to it over the next few days. The buds are sticky, smell great and rock hard. Dehumidifier was added to the tent to try lower the humidity to a better range. Can't wait to see the end results and product. Another 2 weeks an I think we will be good.

I did a heavy defoliation with the green crack for the first time.. the first 3 pics are pre- and the last 3 pics are post-defoliation. Definitely better air flow now as well as more "tops" being seen. Tomorrow going to do the durban.. update w more pics then.

2018-03-20 Week 12 Day 1 New week and not much to say. No water or nutes today, just the regular weekly check to see that they look nice and healthy. Raised the lamp about 10 cm to make sure that the girls don't get burned again. Sour Ripper nr1 is 59 cm Sour Ripper nr2 is 57 cm ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Strain information After much effort Ripper seeds can introduce one of the most appreciated varieties by genetic collectors. They have worked to get one of the few lines of Sour Diesel feminized version preserving the main qualities of a good Sour D: flavor and potency. Sour Ripper has a sativa structure with a wide distance between branches, little foliage and a more compact and desirable bud than the Original Sour Diesel we work. It's flowering period is 65-70 days. The most "undergrown" taste of the United States available for your collection. Vegetative: 1 to 2 weeks Genotype: 60% Sativa / 40% Índica Indoor flowering: 65/70 days. Outdoor flowering: Mid October Yield: Medium / High Effect: Powerful. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

These girls are doing fantastic at this point her buds are starting to develop.Ill have to do some defoliation here soon as they are all 3 getting bushy.Ive kept the light intensity at 50 percent power as the light is super strong and they have taken it well.Ive also kept up with the advanced nutrient feeding and haven’t noticed any deficiency. As the buds develop more thru the next 2 weeks I’ll introduce the Plagron green sensation along with some bud candy.I have grown some mega buds with the Plagron and I can’t wait 😛

~ Update ~ Finally my friends, it looks like everything has officially started the flowering cycle. I had a few issues going on, black spots, drastic drop in temps, fungal gnats, and a little more. I got everything under control for now, gotta keep a watchful eye ;) I’m a bit late with the notes and pics, so here they are! Enjoy :) ~ Individual Progress Notes ~ [CBD Blueberry] Height: 23.3” Tops: 8 Notes: The smell is getting more intense now. Still has hat tropical theme; papaya, melon, and sweet berries are the most prominent scents. I’m noticing slight purple towards the tips of buds and sugar leaves. Even though this pheno I have is acting up I like what I see, and smell ;) [Mazar] Height: 22.7” Tops: 16 Notes: I’m going to use nothing but water for a while. The leaves look ashy, and bland when the others are lush green. I wonder if this girl is a light feeder? I will water the others with seperate nute regimen to avoid making this condition worse. I also have little dark spots that show up on the leaves which I haven't found on the other girls. This being a unique event, I’m not sure if it’s fungal or nutes. I will find out eventually. I pick off all the leaves that are contaminated to avoid spreading this condition (if airborne or contact transfer applies). I will keep an eye on this one.... [Super Silver Haze] Height: 23.8” Tops: 16 Notes: This beast isn’t as full as WW for an example, though the stems and bud sites look solid! I really like how well this one is doing. Still has the biggest leaves too, I have high expectations for her. I wonder how much she’ll stretch in the next 3 weeks? [White Widow] Height: 22.5” Tops: 16 Notes: Out of all the girls this one has the most purple action goin on, I love purple and to me this is a great sign. The nutes work the best for this girl too, need to be careful to not overfeed the others because of this reason. I think this girls will purple out on me, well I’m hoping for that at least. I might let the trics amber to 50/50 make this girl a heavy sedative and muscle relaxant, I have time so no rush. I could harvest some of the buds with 10-20% amber then let the rest mature more, just a thought :) ~ Final Thoughts ~ I glad the majority are having no troubles, it’s a bummer I can’t get rid of this spot problem with Mazar. I need to act fast to make sure I can stop this from spreading. I might quarantine her if it comes down to it. I believe I can get to the root of the issue here, in due time. Anyways I’m glad I’ve gotten to this point! I’m very excited, starting to get a bit impatient from the anticipation… I promise I won’t harvest early ;) Much love you guys! Meus <3

Buds are starting to develop, and humidity has been a bit lower over the last few days too, which might be good for this plant's flowering stage.

So things have been going a little slow. I have to pick up an extension cord so I won’t miss a watering that’s why I feel they’re growing slow. They have been moved into a veg tent so the 12/12 is on pause for rn. I appreciate everyone tuning in and checking out my diary. You guys have an awesome week and I’ll see you guy next update stay safe and hydrated water is not just for the plants.

Grow Diaries: Happy Harvest Journal Entry – The Northern Lights Sisters * Date: August 2026 * Location: Eastern High Plains, Colorado, CO * Status: Harvested, Dried, and Curing in Jars Overview & Harvest Celebration The journey for the Northern Lights autoflower sisters (Charlotte and Michaela) has officially reached its rewarding conclusion. Following a meticulous harvest schedule—with Michaela taking the big chop on August 7th and Charlotte following closely on the morning of August 10th—the buds have been successfully trimmed, dried in the custom cardboard drying chamber equipped with a canister fan and bamboo rods, and transferred into glass mason jars for the curing process. The Marathon Timeline: A 17-Week Journey One of the most notable takeaways from this particular grow cycle is the sheer duration of their development. Combined, their entire vegetative and flowering stages stretched across a remarkable 17 weeks. While this is an unusually long timeline for autoflowers, the sisters definitely utilized every single day of that extended span. They poured all that extra time into stacking dense bud sites, heavily packing on the trichomes, and developing a robust structure that rewarded our patience. Final Yield & Quality After completing the drying phase and transitioning into jars, the final tally for the Northern Lights harvest came in at a solid 2.3 oz. Opening the jars reveals a fantastic aromatic profile, dense resin-coated structures, and top-tier flower that stands as a true testament to the dedication poured into this grow. I will do a Smoke Update as soon as it's cured. Thanks for following this grow. Check out my profile page to view my 2nd round of autos and the Durban Poison quartet. *** *** *** SMOKE REPORT 9.1.26 *** *** *** Having to get into her a few days earlier than I would like. Very light on flavor profile. But she's smooth, give me a nice head high, ready to tackle the pantry. Aroma & Profile: The dried flower is a bit light on the nose and subtle on the initial terpene punch, but it cures into a clean, smooth smoke. Smoke & Effects: * Quality of Smoke: Smooth and clean burning. * Potency & High: Solid 6 to 7 out of 10. Delivers a heavy-hitting, carefree body relaxation that wipes away the stress of a long day and leaves you completely unbothered. Overall Verdict: An incredible, gratifying reward after months of outdoor growing. Perfect for kicking back and unwinding in the evening 👍💪👌🔥

February 9 officially all autos are in day 90. Them BigBud is dope, never dissapoints me, stacking dense buds. The trichomes are forming🦍. Cant wait for them to explode more in quantity. Usually i stop feeding them nutes at day 110 and just feed them plain PH water with just banana compost+mollases only.

These girls are looking so much happier since getting some overdue calmag.. Buds have grown a ton since last week and I'm a huge fan of the spacing.. Both the Gypsy-Kush plants look identical.. we cleaned the base of new growth on all plants and removed a few more large fans from around the tops.. Light penetration couldn't be better...
