another uneventful week. the girl is still creating nodes like crazy ... she is growing sideways rather than rushing for the lights. i raised the lights higher to about 12" from the top of the leaves. i also changed the nutrients from a seedling recipe to an early growth stage recipe that is richer in nitrogen with a higher ec 1.2. i also got to see the roots for the first time, they are looking really nice - white and fuzzy. i made the main nutrient tank more permanent and relocated the used nutrient and fresh nutrient tanks in their own chamber so, it's even easier to do manual nutrient changes (1 container in and 1 container out sort thing). later on, in the week, i noticed the main roots showing a little discoloration, not sure if i should be concerned about this, but she looks healthy.. it was fun using the doser again as i really hate mixing chem's since my days in chemistry labs. looking forward to new aggressive growth this week.

La planta crece muy sana. Decido hacer poda apical en meristemos laterales, en 4 nudos. Al ser pequeños no sé si será apical o FIM. También un poco de LST en inferiores para que busquen mejor el sol. Estoy haciendo pruebas a ver como reacciona. Si veo que sigue en altura doblare un poco la a punta. Me planteo malla scrog. El riego continua siendo lluvia, una pasada los días de sol con pequeños momentos de lluvia.

"HAS STARTED GROWING UP AND THROUGH OUT A LOAD OF NEW WHITE PISTILS" Flower Day 5-20 Days 50-63 7cm put on in the last few days of wk 9 roughly day 59-63 So, not bothering to measure my plant as I thought it had stopped at 68cm and didn't budge for a wk. Been I flushed her and restarted her on plagron/atami/terpinator she decided hey. Let's put on another 7cm and throw out a bunch of new white pistils. Never had this with an auto before. Very strange. I seen her develop the past 15 days. Very slowly. And well. She's not great bud wise. She's a runt that's extremely largy with a very hign leaf-calyex ratio, I've seen other FGA and some killer bud. The leafs are mainly singled fingered leafs that appeared late into her process. And I just can't reach the stems proper and would cause more harm than good. I was hoping she'd get super frosty and I'd be able to make some bubble hash or something. She is at to throw out a whole new load of white pistils. I decided hey, why not throw her under something a little more powerful. At this stage in an auto grow. I really wouldn't bother, as her bud making energy should be mainly spent and at this stage I'd be if anything reducing light % or rasing my light by 5-10cm for ripening. I'm curious to see what will happen. She is drinking a lot more. So I've upped her PK and added some Atami products and will wait to see what happens. I'm not mad about the way she is. I'm holding out hope this is a freak of nature (with autos you really can never make a grow plan). Even if she does put on some mass it'll still be sparce and far apart. And very high leaf ratio. And it's only been the last few days she started growing up again. I only noticed cause the top was closer to the light, and after looking closer. I see new pistils and bud forming lightly. Will be a nightmare to trim. I hope she puts on frost during ripening.... only more time will tell. I'd of been better off with the fem version. She'll easily go into 12 weeks. Diet/Defoliation Was stuffed switched to plagron. Jungle juice did take her a long way. And truly happy with the results. But, I want to try new things and added Plagron Green Sensation and a few others. And Atami Bloom boosters 390-400ppm feed needed to be PH'ed from 7.9 to 6.5 2x a week. Alga Bloom feeds with Green Sensation is 6-630ppm with Silic Rock & pure Zym, 2x a wk. Terpinator feeds are 350ppm 6.1ph and once a wk. (Ambient tap ppm/ph 105-110ppm 6.75-6.7ph). Defoliation was done at the end of wk 8. She was 68cm for 10 days. And took her height on day 60 she she was 71 now she's 75cm tall. Her leaf ratio is very high. And very poor bud sites. More like larf lights. But, I've got a glimmer of hope. I've introduced new bloom boosters and upped the ppfd to 1000ppfd from 850-900ppfd. Lights SF/P1000s were used up until yday where I then put it under my SP3000 at a 14-10 maybe if I'm bothered ill put it back under the 2x100watts if I feel like it. Most days though I reckon I'll leave them under the SP. Co2 Co2 was shockingly high at 1150 in my tents with the exhaust on. But with no high temp it's useless. And has little to no affect. You need 29-31c. It's a fine balance. Cause when your LVPD Leaf VPD hits 32c your stomata stops and the tiny pores close. I've learnt so much about co2 growing. Now I've the right equipment. And with the summer coming in. I should be able to meet the temp/co2 level with exhausts on and been able to use my Dehumidifier in a sealed grow room. When it gets to winter. I think I'll pack it in. I'm just not getting caught out last summer with the heat. I may aswel take full advantage of the high temps and not having a sealed tent and keep exhausts on, just keep RH down. It should be a lot easier. If I like co2, I'll get a controller for fans/temp/ lights & co2. My one now can only control co2ppm and light. I'll get pic readings later. Tag 53: Sie sehen zwar nicht gut aus, riechen aber gut.

Germinated pretty well. It's now been 2 weeks since it's erupted from the soil and uh looks good for now. I haven't given them any nutrients yet might start on the third week so 14/12/2020.

Hey everyone 👋 Here's this week's update: Matcha is still small and I believe she'll stay like this but at the time she's doing better compared to last week, so that's a win. I wonder, did I do something wrong? Was it the lack of CalMag or maybe the heat? Maybe I got a weird phenotype? (I doubt this) or what else could've happened to her? The truth is there are tons of different things that could've caused this and I wish I could know what could've caused this (I'll be making a grow question regarding this). Pistachio on the other hand is doing well, she's huge compared to her sister and she grew a looooot this week! Some leaves are slightly dark and some tips are a bit too bright as well but there's no signs of burn so I assume she might be on her the limit! Personally I suppose the mycorrhizas might be the ones at fault in here. They make feeding more efficient so probably the "normal" dosage might be a bit too much for them... and for that reason alone I decided to lower the amount of Green Grow that I was using, hopefully that will help. 🙏 I also decided to give 10 weeks of vegetation to these plants. Hopefully Matcha will grow a little more during this time (she's still at 20cm) but at this moment I expect nothing from her, I'll just allow her to surprise me haha. 👻 Thanks for reading! Another round of topping. Tied her all back to spread out for LST. Going to flip to flower next week. Used the Kushman technique and Supercropped all her stems every inch on the way up, without bending. Gives her muscles to flex <3

I needed a bigger reservoir, runoff catchment, and dehumidifier drain bucket because I had to go out of town for 5 days. Fortunately I calculated the volumes accurately and so when I got home I had at least another 24 hours of solution in the rez, and space in the runoff and dehumidifier catchment buckets. The other fortunate thing is that I came home to very happy and vigorously growing plants. The tallest colas are now 30 inches above the coco, and 20 inches from the light. There is one cola (pictured) whose stem is as thick as a sharpie! I ran out of the AN base nutrients and decided to switch over to GHE because the PH perfect buffers in the Advanced Nutrients line have been a huge pain in the ass. Also, I decided to mix my own bloom booster from Potassium Sulphate (0-0-53), Monopotassium Phosphate (0-52-34), and Epsom Salt after finding a DIY recipe (https://www.thcfarmer.com/threads/diy-hammerhead-confusions.47992/) to achieve a (0-9-18) NPK ratio. Significantly cheaper, but will be interesting to see what the results are in the end. I will be doing one more heavy defoliation on day 21 of flower because there are so many fan leaves laying on top of each other that its hard to keep the humidity down. Stay tuned!

Día 73 Lunes 14 de Diciembre: -Las plantas están todas en floración. Me he dado cuenta de que debí haberlas regado más. Ellas estaban bien, no les faltó nada, pero pude haberlas explotado más. Es quizás la razón por la que creo que no voy a tener tanta producción como esperaba. -Sin embargo, una de ellas, una Gorilla Glue auto a la que le hice topping lo ha hecho bastante bien. Ella está en una maceta de 11 litros en lugar de los 18 litros del resto. Es la que está en una fase más avanzada y es posible que se pueda cortar antes de 2021. -Estoy teniendo problemas con el ph del agua. Hasta ahora siempre era de 6.7 directamente sacada del grifo y con nutes se ponía en 6.3 aproximadamente. Ahora cuando la sacas del grifo e incluso después de 24 horas está en un 6.2 y si le echo nutes se queda en un 5.6, es por eso que a partir de ahora las regaré con agua destilada, que tiene ph 7 para poder echarle los nutes que les quedan
