Eternity Grow Cup - Week 9 Veg Update We are stepping into Week 9 of vegetation, and things are getting exciting! The plants are thriving—compact, bushy, and growing beautifully. This week, we introduced a SCROG (Screen of Green) net, an essential tool for maximizing yield and optimizing plant structure. Let’s dive deep into the why and how of scrogging: Why Install a SCROG Net Now? Maximizes Light Exposure: The net allows even light distribution across all branches, ensuring every bud site gets the optimal amount of light. Controls Plant Height: By guiding the branches through the net, we keep the canopy even and prevent excessive vertical growth. Enhances Airflow & Reduces Mold Risks: Spreading the plant out increases air circulation, reducing humidity pockets and minimizing risks of mold and pests. Increases Yield: More bud sites exposed to light mean higher-quality flowers and greater overall production. For now, we’re still not using the under-canopy lights, though they will come into play soon. The ICL 300 is positioned strategically, and we will likely move them around as needed later. For now, the focus is on structuring the plants and ensuring they fill out the available space properly. Optimizing Airflow - The Vortex Effect Air circulation is crucial for plant health, and this week, we’ve optimized airflow by positioning the fans to create a vortex effect: Fan Positioning: Each fan is placed at the tent corners, pointing in different directions, ensuring dynamic airflow instead of direct wind hitting the plants. Benefits of a Vortex System: Reduces hot spots and evenly distributes CO₂. Strengthens stems by creating a natural resistance. Prevents stagnant air, reducing mold and pest risks. The extraction system is powered by an AeroFan, connected to the AeroFan Smart Remote FRC1, currently running at 60% speed. This setup efficiently manages humidity and temperature while maintaining optimal air exchange. Current Environmental Conditions & Feeding For now, we’re maintaining the same water schedule and nutrient regimen. The environmental conditions remain stable: Temperature: Holding steady at ideal growth levels. Relative Humidity: Balanced to encourage healthy transpiration. PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density): Kept at optimal levels to support vigorous vegetative growth. CO₂ Levels: Elevated but within safe limits, promoting faster growth. The plants are filling the space beautifully, but we know that the flip to flower is approaching soon! Growing again so will compare end results

Smoked this before from somebody else's grow who I know didn't posses the greenest of fingers and it was incredible, so will be interesting to see how good (or bad) it will be in my hands. Just water week 1

She is getting fat! What a great plant she is - again, little to no deficiencies, other than some light burn but I could not complain to have such strong genetics for my first ever grow! Trichomes are not too cloudy, so still a while to go but what an AUTO!

Wow she's grown 31cm this week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now she's 52cm tall!!! Amazing. She looks like she is entering flowering, so as she is on 20/4 light that means she is an autoflower!!! 😍 I still have no idea what breeder she is from though 😭

Added first time molasses during feeding will be doing it for last 3 weeks before flush. For couple plants with redish leaves stems gave epsom salt. Thinking to give it to all of them. To me they look too skinny, but its aftermath of strech i quess ... Would love to have one more hlg 240 ...

I am feeding with tps one and CalMag oac one time, then it’s back to regular tap water (well water) that comes at 8.5 pH with 156ppm of tds. The feed was approx a pH of 6.5. More importantly is the consistent soil pH which appears fixed at 6.8 I know it’s lazy! However…. I have noticed doing this to reveal to me that the soil pH is very stubborn and not easily changed by the pH of the water alone. Stuff in the water can definitely have an impact. But still, most feed waters I use don’t change the soil ph. I do make sure the pH is within a healthy range for soil, something between 6 and 7 I figure is ideal. I’ve found if there is enough lime in the mix, and as long as I don’t over feed soluble nutes, then the soil pH appears stable and fixed. With enough lime in the mix, I can ultimately arrest the soil pH at 7. It’s really cool. I thought adding too much lime would give me something potentially alkaline, and maybe it will. But I’ve added lots of lime before and still haven’t gotten past 7 pH. Maybe I didn’t add enough to go further? Nevertheless I’m not interested in going past 7. I haven’t seen any issues with the speed of growth watering with 8.5 tap water, surprisingly. As I’ve said the soil pH would read 6.8 before and immediately after watering with the 8.5 tap. So….. I’m thinking the stability of the soil pH is a positive indication that the microbes are not being subjected to pH shifts, or at least nothing substantial. I mean, at the end of the day when things are looking good, I feel like I must have something right.

Day 100 | 03/04/2022:💧 I am back from my holiday today but I will only be able to harvest them at the end of the week, so I watered them today. but with a reduced 1L each because I still want them to be more on the dry side when I am taking them off Day 105 | 08/04/2022: Today was harvest day and the girls look sooooo dry and yellow omg.. 😅 Maybe that 1L was not enough, but still it's better that they are on the dry side. They just all went so yellow in the last few weeks, obviously they werent getting any nutrients but also I harvested them a bit late

August 22nd - most plants entering week 3 of Flower - Machupi’s Lady entering week 7 of Flower - huge rains overnite and this morning are setting a new schedule. There’s a couple plants that will need some defoliation after this big rain; Bud Rot is what I’m thinking to prevent and there are two plants well on their way ie ~ week 6-7 23rd - rain or shine, Machupi’s Lady gets a Haircut today. Defoliation is Needed 24th - after yesterdays defoliation of Machupi’s Lady, today the plants there were fed a mixture of Stress-reducing liquids; B-Vital - I defoliated PurpsBerry, Honduras x Panama and LSD nicely today, nothing really to remove from Panama Red. Other than just standing there in awe … lolo seriously. Each meter-long branch is filling with white hairs. - Panama Red is a long flowering strain and southern Ontario is not always weather-friendly in early - mid November! Let alone October, regardless its going to be a ridiculously fine and complex plant. Going to get it as far along as possible. Already talking about weather barricades for the cold winds in late Fall - black tuna x 2 (9 weeks of flower) -LSD (9-10 weeks of flower) -honduras x panama (12-13 weeks of flower) -LSD (9-10 weeks) -Panama Red (Damn, 11-14 weeks flower) - Massive Bloom is now an option for all the plants liquid meals (medi-one now = 1ml/L when used) 28th - last day week 7 flower for machupi’s Lady - LSD ends week 4 - all the others are finished 3rd week of Flower - Machupi’s Lady fed 1.5gal as posted above + NPK basics ~ 1390ppm

Yes! It reversed, now it's going to self and create more feminized seeds, the selfed ones probably be like clones if the strain is stable enough, if not, it'll show 1-3 phenos in my experience.
