the plants have really grown this week and are on 250ml of filtered water every other day. nodes are looking nice and tight together and foliage is really taking shape. they seem to be growing at different speeds. Humidity can rise to 65% during the night may need to invest in a mini dehumidifier when flowering. Possibly will switch to 12/12 light cycle and initiate budding at the end of next week which will be November 21st.

Permanent Marker was the last one standing and got the chop at day 75 of flower, nearly 11 weeks. The trichomes were still not very amber anywhere except the top sugar leaves, but it was about 90% milky white, and the leaves were all drying out. I bagged 36g of larfy buds and trimmings, 20.5g top buds, and 12g small buds. 32g smokable is not bad. I will update with smoke report in a couple weeks, but initial tests were promising. Strong chemical taste not far off from its namesake, with a KO strength punch.

Tropicana flowers 🌞☀️🌤️🌦️🌧️ Plant is 15 cm high because of low stress training. The length is 31 cm. Day 36: Sun is shining, 15-23 degrees, high humidity. Tropicana gets two liters of pure rainwater. Spend the day in my veggie garden working. In the evening I brought some 🐞for Tropicana because I spottet a few lice. My mood changes drastically as I find spider mites eggs, first and second stadium. Don‘t overthink that and decide to defoliate the plant immediately. I prepare a tee out of the leaves which brings fast relaxation. My mood is much better now. Day 37 In the morning with better light I find more spider mites and decide to wash the plant with rainwater. Can‘t find after any more of these little killer dwarfs. I decide to bring more beetles and check the leafs more often. Temperature is felling under 20 degrees, it‘s raining and the humidity is 87%. Day 38 In the early morning I couldn‘t find any mites on Tropicana. Got to continue controlling this in the next weeks regular. I‘m sure they are still there somewhere hidden in a dark spot. 🌦️ 13 - 21 degrees and humidity is around 60-70%. Day 39 🌦️🌧️ Very rainy day. Just let Tropicana enjoy life and tie down the top one more time. 🐞 stay since some days. One on every plant. I think the mites are a result of their start inside and no hygiene at all. Have the same with my peppers some years. 14 - 21 degrees, humidity around 84% Day 40 🌧️☁️🌤️☀️15 degrees, humidity 83% We listen to Roots Reggae, Tropicana is happy and quite busy with producing new roots, I guess. Beautiful week of growth, caught up with the progress photos compared to last year at this time 💪🏽🙏🏽 We’ve started to blast past the pepper plants now, it only took 2 weeks! Since we’re into the beginning of flower we’ll be adding in the Advanced Nutrients this week to boost flavor and bud formation. Got the hay laid down as you can see and the medium to heavy rains this week are making my job of hand watering this whole garden way easier. Did some defoliation on the lower fan leaves and any early low bud formations that looked like they might not amount to much in the end. So excited to keep sharing photos of how they all progress! 🌿 Week Update: The Frost is Landing! ❄️ The tent is starting to smell incredible! We are officially in the "bulk up" phase. I’m really seeing the benefits of the Bio-Bloom and Top-Max combo this week as the calyxes are swelling and the trichome production is kicking into high gear. The Details: Development: My main colas are starting to transition, with pistils turning a lovely orange, while the secondary sites are still pushing fresh white growth. But the blue cheese is acting strange she started to stretch from a side pransh, while the main thing still short and very compact. Structure: The LST clips have been lifesavers for keeping the height manageable in this tent. I’m focusing on keeping the airflow high with the fan to support these heavy tops. Health: The leaves are holding a beautiful, deep green no signs of deficiencies or burn yet with the current 2-2-1 ml/L feed. Next Steps: I’m going to keep a close eye on those trichomes over the next two weeks. For now, it’s all about patience and keeping the environment stable while they finish stacking.
