A-Day 53 (into week 8) B&C-Day 49 (end of week 7) A - She is stacking well, and feeling greasy! The smell is coming on stronger everyday, frost is just starting to build up. There is a distinct transition as the leaves go through veg to early flower to late flower. Uniform all around, not very tall, but she is hardy and thiccc! B- Full flower now, so many tops! She has shown to be a slower flower developer than A, but the flowers she are developing are almost completely uniform all across the 🌱! I assume because there are so many they will be a little slower. I put her ties back on, and the middle shoots exploded with new stretch and growth, so she is still in that stretch/flower stage. C- what can I say, patience is a virtue. She is looking lush and vigorous. With this being a slightly longer to finish auto strain, she has had time to recover from a) being a runt, B) having slow growth, c) having almost no training and lighter nutrient feeds her whole existence. This is also my control for Topping, she was not, A and B were. This strain is clearly hardy and able to withstand multiple techniques, we’ll see what the end the result is compared to her sisters. All three plants received a full nutrient feed x2 this week. That was: 3 gallons dechlorinated water mixed with 12 ml Micro, 12 ml Bud, 20 ml Grow, and 6 ml Sensi Extra CalMag, PH’d to 6.2. And another very low feeding of 1/3 that mixture mixed into 3 gallons of water. Ive heard many growers who instead of just watering, they will do a much lower strength of nutrients included in their watering, and ultimately never not feed their plants nutrients until flush. Thoughts?

What do I have to tell you this time we are really competitive. The two Darks are spectacular, as I have repeated several times, one is worked with a topping that clones only the central part of the plant in a series of 16 buds. If, on the other hand, you decide to leave other lateral branches, it happens as in the second plant that the center weakens a little but two immense main colas are created. I prefer topping only with the main line but I'm not sure if it's the most productive. Although I did a little misfire with the photos this week, my partner abandoned me but I'm gearing up to shock you last week, don't sing too much victory for super growers and look at these girls well ... So I suspect the Golden Goat to have subtle mag def. I’ve upped the Epsom salts a bit to help. Also the Mandarine XL Auto is amazing and this discoloration in its leaves I believe to be from getting handled and snagging on the trellis when bending through. I try to be delicate, but it shows. I’ve not been taking meticulous account of things but here’s as of day 19… Day 19: Low/High - 66F at night, 76F during the day. Moisture Levels: set @ 56% RH Moisture level fluctuations from 54%-68% depending on time and temperature as well as moisture levels in the pot itself. As the pot gets dry I will lower the VPD a bit. Fly Traps: CLEAN-w/ 2 fungus gnats (1/week) both located @ MXL (MXL= Mandarine XL Auto) No signs of mold or mildew. Ventilation Setting: Humidity 57% RH Light Intensity (Dimmer Switch @ 75%) 3” tall. The Critical Purple Autoflower shares the tent: while exhibiting signs similar to mosaic virus, I believe this to not be the case, and instead a genetic pigment deformation possibly induced from the high UV LED lights. I’m only basing this theory of of other anecdotes. I’m not willing to test the contagion properties, but I’m going to pop a seed for just that purpose. Until then I wear gloves or wash hands and sterilize equipment before and after each plant until I can rule out a contagion or not. Planing to update my feed and get some ppm measurements. Also I’m thinking the MXL is ready for a little Regalia and a foliar feed. Only thing is a 2 hour window from 3-5am! But I will feed a little Regalia and Venerate sometime this week.

Been busy these past few weeks. 2 of the 4 plants didn’t survive an overly aggressive plant wash, so I had to pop more seeds. 1 of which appears to be a super strong pheno. Got the thrips and mites under control using beneficial nematodes in the soil and cucumeris predatory mite satchels at the base of the manifolds. Apparently the coco I used wasn’t pre buffered as advertised and I ran into a major magnesium deficiency. Could’ve been a lockout due to the dolomite lime I mixed into the medium, but if I had to guess I’d put my money on the coco hogging all of the mg in the worm castings. Top dressed with worm castings and Gaia green 4-4-4 all purpose, and then watered in max dose of cal mag+, cleared the deficiency up it appears. Lots of new lessons being learned this run. Still hopeful of a solid harvest at the end of the day.

3 seeds from barneys farm : zkittlez Og auto. Diary : Day 1: I dug a pit and cleaned my dirt with metal grid and a wheelbarrow & Installed the greenhouse. Day 2 : I rotated my dirt and added universal soil. 4 x 70l to area of 6m2 . I also planted seeds in universal soil without sprouting first. Day 3 : I gave water and checked for sprouts. Bought moist meter and dripping hose. Installed those and making the greenhouse more moisty now. Putted seeds in small sprout basket for now. Feeling : Verry happy for my first time. Lots to learn.. . Excited

Week 5 begins for LSD and Green Crack! The LSD ladies had the most yellowing over the last week, yet they have the most frost on the buds. The Green Crack ladies had a little bit of yellowing and has bigger buds, but no frost at this time. They all seem very happy in their new 4x8 home. Thanks for stopping by growfessors, tune in next week for another episode of growfessor theatre. 👽🌳💚

✅ Wedding Cake Auto – Final Harvest Report: Finished harvesting the remainder of my Wedding Cake auto. Main cola was taken earlier at peak cloudy with some early ambers (~10–15%) for a more balanced effect. The rest of the plant was allowed to mature further and came down with roughly 20–25% amber trichomes. Bud density was excellent across the mid and lower branches — structure held up well without support. She was grown fully organic — no synthetic inputs — in living soil amended with bone meal during flower. Dried at ~70°F / 50% RH for a slow 7-day dry. Cure will begin this week in Grove Bags (1 oz size). Aroma leans toward earthy-sweet with some gassy backend as she dries. 👑 Special Queen #1 Auto – Ongoing Flower: This plant has been a beast. She’s in the latter half of flower now with impressive lateral branching and heavy stacking across all colas. Trichomes are mostly cloudy with a few early ambers showing on the top-most bud sites, so I’ll be continuing her for another week or two to hit my preferred heavy amber target for a deeper effect. She’s bounced back from early lockout and transplant stress after being moved into ~8 gal of fresh FoxFarm soil with top-dressed organics. Water-only since week 5, and she’s thriving. 🌿 Notes: This run has really dialed in my process — organic medium, minimal inputs, and clean environment. Next steps will be sanitation, tent reset, and prepping for my upcoming tester autos.
