Day 7 i I transplanted the seedlings in jiffy’s to the DWC basket water level was “just” touching the bottom of the basket which meant there was 1mm- 2mm air gap between the water level and the jiffy’s. The high pressured air in the water to spit when air was released at the top which kept the bottom of the jiffy moist which had minimal roots showing to the exterior of it. Day 7-13 I originally had 7.5 litres of water that was to the bottom of the basket. I replaced the water on the 13th which meant the water was changed after 6 days at such an early stage I will regularly change the water in the buckets. You can change every 7-14days but I am taking no chances. I refilled and added nutrients on Day 13 which was yesterday. And the plants are doing really well and are a nice VEG green colour. Hard to tell on the pictures with the light colour but you can see their progress. When I replaced the water this week I put 6.5L of water in each bucket With nutrients PH’d as close to 5.8 as possible. Some varied from 5.72 - 5.9. I have noted these on each bucket so that I can check if one does better than the others or shows deformities or stress I can amend it to match the others but hopefully not in such a close proximity of 5.8ph with an EC of 700+- The roots are now showing in every pot with the longest being some 6inches. The new Wakyme grow light is top notch so far with VEG button on only. Anyone contemplating buying one it cost me £99.00 from amazon and so far is performing just how I would like. Humidity has been taken care of with a cold air intake fan which is pulled from another area of the building of a cooler environment. Temperatures are spot on where I want them but I do allow a 2degree +- allowance but it does change back to its original temperature quickly enough. 5 more speed bud germinated and 2peyote critical feminised photoperiod germinated. Crystal candy XL auto ordered x10 Gorilla glue, Pineapple Express and Cali Kush waiting in the wings. I have these already If I can be anymore help to anyone let me know. Your diaries are helping me and hopefully I can provide the same to you

Started flowering.they are ready and healthy. Gave them just 6ph water and next watering tomorrow is gonna be huge dose of N as first 2 weeks they grow monsterous. I keep em low and bend alot.lots of shoots begin to form as i topped again about 10 days ago

Day 1 - LST train both plants... Mostly SB1 to have a wider canopy let the smaller nodes catch up. SB2.. Nice structure, really upset to break 1/2 of it... But loads of energy and recovered /train well. Nodes larger than SB1, but SB1 has mode nodes

Wasn't satisfied with the net that came packed with the ACI 4x4 so I modified it with some string and zip ties. I find this works great because I have 2"x2" holes now that are partial elastic making weaving the tops much more forgiving on both me and her. I'm very happy with the direction this grow is heading. Along with the massive undertaking of redirecting all this growth. Roughly 8 hours off and on to redirect, defoliate and remove branches. She had a nutrient change and I moved on to week 5 of the FF Hydro schedule. I added about 1/2 tsp of Fox Farm Sledgehammer to the nutrients in my reservoir and let it sit for about 30 minutes. Then pumped out the solution and flushed with roughly 20 gallons of fresh cold 6.0 pH tap water. Then added the new solution with Tiger Bloom.

Had to spray some medicine again as there was a few bite marks from spidermites. May not get rid of em but can keep them at a lower number until harvest otherwise I would love to get rid of em but don't know the likelihood of that happening. Currently in the tent at 12/12 light schedule and have the lights running at night so cold of the night doesn't stunt any growth.

Switched to flower nutes too early. Back to full strength terp tea grow 711. Atleast for the next 2 weeks, maybe less. 5/1/24 Plant is stretching now. FYI just to clarify, I switched lights to 12/12 on 4/20 but I am considering her being in veg still until I see more pistils. Probably the end of this week. After a 2 week transition period 5/3 2 days later and I need to get my damn camera in the tent! This stretch is starting to look like nursery explained. She’s supposed to triple in size. I thought I tied her down too much and she would stay short. I swear she’s grown an inch over night. Starting to dominate the tent. Literally 2 days ago, I said that I didn’t consider this week to be flower and still the transition phase. Now she looks like she’s fully in the flowering phase. She’s beautiful and I’ve been impressed since veg. Since I chose her as a clone I liked the way she was. Hoping she follows through🌱💚

Well welcome to week one flower ! I am so grateful she seems happy starting to get the system balanced I’m running rdwc two five gallon buckets with a 3” flex line connecting the base to base With ball valves to control the water height in grow bucket 320gph sub pump in the Reservoir bucket then to water chiller back to grow bucket large enough dependable oxygen pump for grow and reservoir water oxygenation I also alternate Southern Ag GFF and Hydro guard let’s go!

Mrs Banner aka Bruce banner #3 aka the Triangle grow, is Budding away nicely. I've given her, her last feed of nutrients so she will be on just water now until harvest. I've been concerned shes a little on the small size but just as the name suggests she starting to "Hulk up." I'm hopefull of a harvest in about two weeks, but with a few grows under my belt, I know that 1) two weeks may turn into six 2) patience wins the grow game

2024-07-28 2 Opium Plants remain in my Outdoor Garden. One sits in a 75l container, and stands near the house the other Plant sits into 30 l container , in a corner in my Garden Die Outdoor Girls are starting to flower, still in stretchmode the Plant in the 75l container looks super impressive the 30l girl gas a good spot to go on lets see. for any reason the system dont let me do another updates, so iam forced to do all updates at once in one week 2024-08-16 The Plants are stretching and building sweet flowers Temperatures became perfect, with lots of Sun and warm weather. 2024-08-23 The Weather continues to stay very warm and sunny, the Girls drink up to 10 liters daily, and they get some feedings with organic more PK, because they need the Energy 2024-08-30 Both Girls doing fine, the Plant in the 75l Growbag, is very thirsty and develops sweet Floweringsites. the Girl in the 30l pot, has grown into the open Ground. she was sticking her roots out of the holes from the growpot i was wondering why she looks so fresh and green without getting nutrients, now i know why, she is sucking all good stuff out of open ground clever, clever. 2024-09-07 In the meantime we had some heavy rain and Wind, i had to stabilize both Plants the Girl in the 30 l Container was stretching so massively , she was growing one meter!! in short time but she was blown the most, i had to tie her and she is leaning onto a bigger treee i kinda forgot to save her from winds. but anyway, shes safe and goes on The Girl in the 75l is safe for the moment she shows already massive buds, next week i have to take pictures from above her 2024-09-13 Weather truned for summerly and hot, to autumn and raniy and cold so i have to watch her closely, and hope for more warm / dry days, for her to finish up. It weather continues to stay rainy- and she starts to mold, we will harvest instantly.

The start of cultivation was not at all favorable at temperatures below 10 degrees then came a storm that caused cracks and tears in the leaves ... The leaves were very dirty from clay and perlite, so I tried to wash them all with a paper tissue. The weather was not at all kind, so I added Advanced Nutrients- B52 vitamins and Rhino Skin to strengthen the stem and leaf I often meet different animals on my way through the forest, today I met a newly born young fallow deer

Gave her a cocktail to help with stress. Added 1st net for lateral support, not so much now, but for later. Blue light is absorbed by photoreceptor proteins called phototropins, which trigger a hormonal response that causes cells on the shaded side to elongate, making the plant bend toward the light. Try and fill this side a little. She is quite big already, just needs to find her stride again after the undue torture. The mind is constantly working and producing, just like a factory. It's not just a passive recipient of information but an active producer of ideas, attitudes, and beliefs. The "ingredients" in this factory are the information you consume, such as books, conversations, and the media you engage with. The "products" are your thoughts, beliefs, and actions. The quality of the ingredients directly influences the quality of the output. 5 apex stems with 20-30 mini cola, let them develop a little, with the apical dominance shattered, all those 20-30 will all compete with each other as soon as that stretch is initiated. Key to a good stretch is making sure the plant is cycling efficiently, with large ATP conversions occurring lights out. For now, keeping light intensity high. A plant will slow its vertical growth in very high light intensities, leading to a more compact form with thicker stems and leaves. This response is a protective mechanism against light stress, which can damage the photosynthetic apparatus and lead to symptoms like leaf scorching, yellowing, and brittleness. Instead of growing taller, the plant invests its energy into creating a more robust, stress-tolerant structure. Providing plants with necessary antioxidants helps protect the photosynthetic apparatus by scavenging reactive oxygen species (ROS) that cause damage from excess light. UV light exposure can impact the xanthophyll cycle by either enhancing its photoprotective role or causing damage, depending on the intensity and type of UV radiation. UV exposure can trigger the synthesis of more xanthophyll cycle pigments to increase the plant's capacity to dissipate excess energy, but it can also cause direct damage, particularly to Photosystem II, and may lead to a decrease in the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) which indicates a reduced capacity to dissipate excess energy. Plants can respond to UV stress by increasing the synthesis of xanthophyll cycle pigments, such as violaxanthin and zeaxanthin, to improve their photoprotective capacity. UV-induced changes in xanthophyll cycle pigments can be linked to a plant's overall tolerance to high radiation stress. The xanthophyll cycle helps protect against photoinhibition, which is especially important when the plant is exposed to high levels of both UV and visible light. High doses of UV radiation can directly damage photosynthetic components, including the proteins, lipids, and pigments in the thylakoid membranes. Exposure to UV radiation can have a mixed effect on the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) of the xanthophyll cycle pigments. In some cases, UV can inhibit the conversion of violaxanthin to zeaxanthin, resulting in a lower DEPS ratio and a reduced capacity for energy dissipation. However, the total pool of xanthophyll cycle pigments may increase, and this enhanced pool size could provide a greater potential for photoprotection despite a lower DEPS ratio. The xanthophyll cycle works alongside other mechanisms, such as the accumulation of flavonoids (UV screens), to protect the plant from UV-induced damage. Blue light repairs 100% UV-induced damage in plants through a process called photoreactivation, which uses a light-dependent enzyme called photolyase. This enzyme uses energy from blue and UV-A light to directly reverse the damaging pyrimidine dimers in the DNA caused by UV-B radiation, a key mechanism for maintaining the plant's genetic integrity. After carbon, light, water, temperature, and nutrients, the limiting factor of a plant's growth is often its own internal factors or the amount of a key ingredient. Chlorophyll concentration is one such factor, as the amount of this pigment limits how much light can be captured for photosynthesis. These compounds absorb UV radiation and accumulate in the epidermal layers of leaves to shield inner photosynthetic tissues. The plant may increase leaf thickness or deposit more cuticular wax, creating a physical barrier to the radiation. The plant will produce more enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidants to neutralize the reactive oxygen species (ROS) produced by the UV-B radiation. The plant activates enzymes, including photolyases, to repair DNA damage caused by the UV-B. These repair mechanisms are critical for preventing permanent genetic mutations. While protective measures are activated, a high dose delivered over a short period can cause stress that overwhelms the plant's defenses. Photosynthesis is highly sensitive to UV-B. A high dose can inactivate Photosystem II (PSII), damage thylakoid membranes within the chloroplasts, and reduce chlorophyll content, which lowers the plant's overall photosynthetic capacity. Despite repair mechanisms, high UV-B doses can inflict persistent damage on the plant's DNA. The overproduction of reactive oxygen species can cause oxidative stress, leading to the oxidation of lipids and proteins and disrupting cellular function. I am playing in the enchanted forest. Gave the photos a haircut today. Removed some fan leaves and lower branches that wouldn't amount to much. Gave the branches to my horse because he loves them! Tried enticing the ducks with fan leaves but they weren't having any of it. They prefer lettuce, not "The Devil's Lettuce"😂 I added in a little 5-1-1 fish fertilizer to my feeding regimen as well. Still picking off inchworms. Hurricane Dorian came through yesterday and gave us a good bit of rain and wind, so while the other girls were tucked under the roof, including the autos, Aubergine was at the end of the bench. I'm sorry, but I had to prioritize the others, I feel like they're at greater risk for mold. It got down to 49 F last night, which means it's really Fall now!

So finally some wind breaker some support and dozed them with citygreen's nutes and greens 1ml each in 1ltr And ill be out for a week or two so hope it grows good by then!

8 week We have 12 strong plants and one skinny one. They start drinking more then 1.5 l with one application of water. Smells really sweetly and fruity. I really love it!
