Hey all! 🙌 It's me again, after a hiatus I'm back in action and this time I'll be growing two plants! The strain is Green Gelato from Royal Queen Seeds and the two babies are going to be Pistachio and Matcha, two green ice creams flavors to match with the strain name! 😋 I started soaking both seeds in a glass with water for 24 hours to hydrate them (I forgot to take a photo of this!) and after that I placed them in a jiffy pellet. After some days Pistachio was the first one to show while Matcha was still being a little behind. During this I made a small mistake, instead of opening the cardboard box where I placed the seeds I left the baby plant inside so she grew a bit too much during the night... ooops! But nothing too serious (I got it fixed after moving her into a cup). Some days after Matcha appeared but it seemed she was having a small issue, it seemed like part of her shell was still stuck to her so I helped by removing it and then she started to grow normally once again. Right now I moved Pistachio to one of those red cups and I used some mycorrhizas on her! Glomus mosseae and glomus intraradices to be more precise! Next week I'll be doing the same with Matcha. 😊 I also started making a timelapse (I think it looks awful haha but it helps to see how Matcha started to recover!) I was away with a lot of work outside the city. but I have returned. She will be healthy. With the first day of the first week in her third week of flowering, she will be a little sweet. She will be a citrus with a normal smell of 59 cm and that is for the time being.

Flowering day 2: For a new strain i am so impressed with her growth. She has performed great to this stage. Her flowers are forming amazingly quickly and she is taking the quadlining very seriously. All her shoots are looking able.to bear good sized buds and her secondary ones are fighting to get to the canopy top. This early on and needing a clearout of the small pointless growth , i feel she will be a great yielder of some dense nugs. Have green days folks.

I harvested 2 apple fritters by RQS and a Durban Thai XC99 by Brothers Grimm. Huge colas, very tight and frosty. Looking forward to trying in a few weeks. These were the biggest yielders out of the run, and I anticipate around 8 zips off each of these. I'll update after they're dried and cured. Our beauty is now 3 weeks old and has grown to nearly 18 cm tall, continuing to develop strong and healthy. We’ve decided to enhance her nutrition by continuing to feed her with Xpert Nutrients fertilizers, which provide everything she needs for balanced growth. Additionally, we’ve started using CO2 to further stimulate active growth. The daytime temperature remains at 28°C, nighttime at 21°C, and the humidity is maintained at 65%. We are still keeping the light schedule at 12/12, closely monitoring how the plant responds to these conditions. Hi legends, Day 47 of week 7 This week has seen a massive difference, 3 of the plants have started turning purple which I find strange as all the cutting were taken from the same mother plant. we also have a leaf with seed pod the same as Bnc grower, not sure what causes this anyone? but my guess is that she just wants to get germinated any way she can.. Have started to flush with pre RO water at ph 6.3, this is near impossible to ph with a meter at 0 CF, So I have to PH the water with PH 6. 7.6 colour chart. Also this week the buds are much more resinous and the aromas are fantastic, especially fruity with a very distinct peach smell. I also noted that IMO many smaller buds have not been receiving enough light and therefore not ripening as well, these will be used for making hash looking at the trichomes most still clear but on the purple plant they are mostly cloudy. I watered today with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was then ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉ turned her pot and shot a few pictures of her. 10/6- Today I watered her with 1.5g of her usual straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and turned her pot. She's definitely starting to fade, is still stacking her flowers, bulking up and has an incredible amount of trichomes which I'm beginning to monitor daily. 10/8- The routine of watering every other day continues like clockwork. Yesterday was a 'no water' day and I did a basic check over of the plant, removed a couple of yellowed lower leaves and turned her pot. Today she got the usual 1.5g of straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and had her pot turned. I've also begun to check her trichome development with a digital USB microscope to try to identify the ideal harvest time which will be in the next week +/-. 10/10- Well, Week Eight has come, gone and has been a trial once again of my patience! She's so freaking frosty that I've wanted to chop her several times but, I know from experience, good things come to those who wait... then wait a bit more. I anticipate that she'll be ready by the end of this coming week, and I can't wait! I've cut the wattage back on the HLG 650R to 500w at the wall now to simulate the way that sunshine becomes weaker as fall approaches due to the lower angle of the sun in the sky. This helps outdoor plants to know that winters on the way and they need to hurry up and complete their life cycle. Cutting the wattage back creates the same effect on the indoor plants, especially when coupled with lowered temperatures in the tent. I have also noticed that her water uptake has slowed. After her heavy watering on the 8th, her pot still had some weight to it and she was looking great so I went ahead and skipped watering her today, watering her tomorrow at lights on with her usual. was a solid week. all green, all happy. the birthday cake auto seems to be coming around. so today i set the lights to 12 12 .. lets see how the flower. ive done all what i can in ability and space to set them up i hope. i find mixing nutrients in calcium water (thicker density, almost milk,) produces a quicker visible result in the plants and also you seem to get less variation in how they take the days feed. I would be lying if I knew how far her flower phase come, this couple weeks been absence only gave me results, and left me with a catalogue nightmare, but thank goodness my previous posts are dated, so it gives a rough idea, but genes differ within strains, some strain grow vigorously at certain stages, and I think this baby hit her phase. She will be my best tree when it comes bud quantity, when it comes to potency, I will have settle with what I encounter and except the outcome.

These are steady cruising towards the finish line. Really pretty bud structure and trichome coverage. The smell is straight pineapple hard candy. No piney-ness, no skunk funk, not even a hint of citrus. Just straight tropical fruits and sugar and a tad bit of earthiness at the end. They have been on plain water for the past week. A majority of trichomes are cloudy with about 20% still clear. Another week I’m thinking.
