I topped 2 nodes on Plant #3 and 1 Node on Plant #2. Everything looks dialed in (Finally). Algae is an asshole. Thought things were going really well... and then found a bit of algae in the rockwool.... No biggie I figure. Wrong. Left it one night, and today (Sunday) open the jar to find algae in all the roots. Not cool. Well, I needed to swap the nutrients anyway, and was going to do a major bonsai pruning... so why not also wash everything, plant included, in mild hydrogen peroxide solution? Sure, THAT's fun. Made the decision to swap Hydroguard for H2O2 as well, since the water is room temp (21-22 C) and the H2O2 supposedly helps prevent algae.... and keeps away root rot even in higher solution temperatures. Oh, and H2O2 is also seemingly a buffer... making getting the pH right in that small jar strange - needed WAY more pH down than without the hydrogen peroxide. Fingers crossed that the major life disturbances will help manage the algae and not just put the nails in the coffin.

Another great week, saw some great bud production and stacking. All great signs of a good yield. Increased the bloom nutrients to accommodate the plants demands during this intense growth spurt, while making sure they are balanced with a straight phd water feed to help break up any deposits that may be accumulating. When I use just water, I’ll water until I see about a 15% runoff, and test the ph of the runoff, should be within your 5.8-6.3 range. I’ve got lots of airflow keeping things moving to help prevent PM and pests. After every feed, I’ll spray a mixture of water, a drop or two of dish soap, and some type of essential oil, around the base of the pots and tent basin as part of my pest management/protection. I have yet to have any type of pests, despite growing in an unfinished basement situation. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦❤️👊

Starting week 4 of Flower. I expect things to slow on the upwards growth as the plant shifts focus onto the bud development. Ran out of potassium silicate. 📆 WEEK 13 🌱 Plants: The indica-looking pheno (the one on the far right) has a sweet kushy smell. The middle plant has the classic RuntZ aroma, and the plant on the far left has a distinct Gelato smell. Honestly, I wish I’d kept a clone of the one on the left instead of the indica-leaning one, but that’s just how it goes - I chose the one with better root growth, and how that’s translating to buds and flavor will be revealed soon. The one on the far left smells like a clean Dairy Queen cooler, flat Z terps, just a really clean scent. It’s wild that they all started with a rotten-lemon smell and evolved into such different profiles. Typical F1 generation behavior. 💧 Hydroponics: Full solution swap today: water came in at 6.6 pH and (yikes) 0.4 EC. Added 5 mL pH down and 8 gallons of Heavy 16 Flush Week to the 8 gallons of water (this is the one time I stick to the manufacturer schedule). Enviornment: Lights are all the way up; the tent thrives best when I can manually breathe it, otherwise it starts messing with its own humidity and CO2 levels. ⚙️ Equipment: I temporarily lost access to my online drive with the feeding schedule spreadsheet, which is way easier to digest than manually calculating feed per gallon and how many gallons I actually used (since I never feed full-strength manufacturer nutrients). This week was simple though - the buds are deep into swell, so I’ve started flushing. ⏳ Timeline & Outlook: The flush will be swapped for pure water sometime this week while the tent’s lights are OFF, which I think is a critical step. If we’re still pulling salts after the pure water flush, I’ll swap it out for fresh water based on the nighttime readings. On 4/4, I’ll swap the solution to water only at night. Then on 4/7, I’ll swap the water flush for a fresh water flush at night. The target harvest date is 4/14, depending on how the flush is going and how the foliage burn is progressing, though this could shift by a few days.

This plant has a solid stench of pure ripe lemons. So much aroma and color in every bud, purples, to dark green, to lime green, to solid frost. This one definitely a fun strain to watch grow and tend too for the last few months. She’s definitely a hungry girl, seemed to be the only strain out of the three that accepted and thrived with full feed nutrients. Would definitely recommend this Strain to someone For a nice uplifting day smoke, also seems to do me good for some pain and stress relief.
