Welcome to week 12 and finally the last week of my grow diary. As predicted, the weather has taken a turn for the worse, so I've decided to harvest. If the weather had been better, I would have given it another 1.5 to 2 weeks, but unfortunately, there's nothing we can do about that. The outdoor season has therefore come to an early end. It would be great to live in a place where it works all year round without any problems. A brief summary of Sour Jealousy: This strain is simply fantastic. Super easy to grow. Apart from a minor incident with mildew, I had no problems. The citrusy, creamy terpenes are right up my alley, and I hope the effect is too. In the end, the plant grew bigger than I had imagined, but I was able to see from other diaries how the plant would develop. Chubbs Sour Jealousy was even bigger. This strain will definitely end up in my indoor tent again so I can get the max potential out of it. See you next week for the conclusion of the diary!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas!!! We have had some crazy cold weather here the last 4 days and for the first time in 13 years had snow on Christmas day. So with the cold and snow came grow room issues. My grow space is outside and not attached to the house so maintaining a proper temperature and humidity has been a bit on the difficult side. Even with the lights running 24 hours, it's had a few drops down to 19c and the humidity has gone up to 68% a few times. Now luckly I'm still in veg and the humidity isn't a issue yet but the temperature has been making me worried. Going to put togther a heater with its own temperature switch increase it drops below 20c. Did some training over the last week with some LST and FIMing. With the LST every 3nd day I've been adjusting them and pulling the plants back a bit more and more. Since I don't think I'll be able to set up a SCRog net this go around (spent to much for Christmas and wont be able to affordthe PVC tubing) ive got to figure out something else and fast. Plants are getting big and it's going to get hard to bend then properly without braking stuff. Because I was showing some issues with 2 of my plants I started adding a bit of Revive to my res to see if they get better and they have. But because of the cold that's been hitting us my tank has had a hard time staying warm. Even with my 50w tank heater it's been fighting a up hill battle because the area outside the main room where the tank is, has been sitting around 14-17c. So with that the air pump I use to circulate the tank, it is pulling in cold air and thats been fighting the tank heater in getting it up to what I like it at. I tried using my water pump instead of the air pump for circulation and the res went up to 25.6c soooo I would much rather have 19c res then water that could kill my plants. So let's talk about the plants themselves. Both Special Queen plants are doing great but as you can see from the picture, one is doing absolutely amazing. Great growth (understatement) and has bounced back from training like a pro. The other plant is still doing really good when compared to all the other plants in the room but still could be a little bit better. Depending on what I'm going to do for supporting the plants this might be the last week of veg. Well see. So this plant was doing great and then about 2 days ago I started to notice issues. Almost looks like leaf rust or a Ph problem but ive tried my best to keep them correct and I'm hopping that like my Ripper badazz plants that they well just grow out of it. Doing a big clean up today in the room so I'm going to keep my eyes open for any pests just incase that's the issue but fingers crossed it isn't. Well that's everything for now. On day 56 my setup got another light. I took the Lumatek out and changed it for a second Mars Hydro TSL 2000. Now i can use more space in the tent and the light is spreaded way more even than before. I now got about 1000 PPFD at the canopy top and around 800-900 PPFD square. They are running at about 80 % atm. Each side is seperately dimmable and i can set the ankle relatively individually for each plant so i can better react to the different grow heights, which comes automatically with 4 different strains. She got a defoliation and another place to ripen up the lower part of the plant, just to see if it works. She has done her job as a crash test dummy extremly well, what a pleasure 😍

June 5: Cooler temperatures and no rain this week. Wind has been strong and a couple of nights near or at freezing temperatures. The greenhouses worked really well, but now to expose these seedlings to the full elements. Windy day today so expect them to get a bit beat up. Watered in with well water and covered the stem quite high with soil for more support against the wind.

3RD WEEK FLOWER Feed Started With Tap Water Left Overnight For Chlorine/Chlorides To Evaporate. Next Day. Starting EC of our water is 0.10-0.15. I added 1ML of Regenaroot Per Litre. Then Used Canna Terra Flores Until EC measured 0.7. I then used the mighty bloom enhancer by the ml until my EC measured 1.4 Always Give A Little Sprinkle Of Great White Into The Mix Finally i PH'd the mix to 6.2. Made sure the feed was of adequate temp (21c) and continued to feed. 😎

Week 12 - Mehn Oh Mehn - The Purple Is Really Starting To Come In Now I Think Last Week’s Cold Temp Situation Really Unlock The Purple Characteristics. The Scent Is Very High And The Trichomes Are Mostly Clear With A Few Cloudy Showing. I Am No Longer Using Nutrients Because I Will Start The 2 Weeks Now Because You Don’t Want The Weed Getting Over Ripe Thats When The Scent Would Start To Face. So In Two Weeks Time I Will Have Mostly Cloudy With A Few Clear Or A Few Amber With Strong Aurora At It’s Peak. Tell me What You Guys Think In The Comments.

Zkittlez is growing very nicely think its about to start flowering. Lemon AK is slower but still looking nice considering its about 10 days older. Topped the zkittles and its responding well, got 2 tops where there was only 1. Tied it down as vertical space is very limited for me. Can't get too tall.

6/6/2023 Week 9- Day 1 of Flower (Day 124 overall) (Day 63 of Flower) Auto Pilot Day 3.. Just watched them be beautiful. I also did a Trichome check today things are moving along nicely. 6/7/2023 Week 9- Day 2 of Flower (Day 125 overall) I admit it I couldn't help it there were some blatant offender leaves blocking the light from some of the canopy buds so they had to go..... and when I took them I found a few more in between leaves that had to go.. so long story short some defoliation did happen.. :-) 6/8/2023 Week 9- Day 3 of Flower (Day 126 overall) Auto pilot re-engaged.. I sat back took some photos and just enjoyed how beautiful this light side and dark side thing the plants are doing The buds are almost as long as my Sharpie. I also applied the last application of my Hermie spray to the clone I took in Apr to reverse it. 6/9/2023 Week 9- Day 4 of Flower (Day 127 overall) Auto Pilot Day 2... :-) It was check in day today for the grow off. Last check in for the competition. Trichomes are looking great.. did another check today will keep an eye on it just incase I need to cut earlier than planned. These ladies are looking amazing, the fade is coming in nice purple on plant #3 and really nice yellow on #2.

Week 4 of flower. 5.8-6.0 pH 450ppm 65-68 F water temp. 72 F tent temp So… the back two plants aren’t stacking like I had hoped. They may end up being popcorn queens. But they are nice and frosty so a long as they produce decent compact and frosty buds I’ll be happy. The front two are finally bursting into flower. The Mimosa X Orange Punch (front right) is looking good and it smells really unique already. I hope she stacks up some nice buds.

Here’s the moment I’ve been waiting for! I’ve decided to make some big changes for this round in the evolution of my grow! I’ve decided that since fastbuds has entrusted me with their brand new unreleased genetics to throw everything out the window and go for new, new, new! First off I’m going to ditch most of general hydroponics nutrients to try out the brand new floraflex nutes because they claim there will be no salt buildup. I have completely ruined 6 pumps, all of my grow totes and every piece of tubing associated with my hydroponics system. Secondly I’m going to set the rockwool aside in trade for the floraflex 6” pot pro system with the “bubbler” using coco as my medium. So let’s get locked and loaded and see just what these unknown ladies are going to do for us. The featured 3 plants here are a first from them in a photo period fast flowering 50-60 day finish and I have zero additional data.
