~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🤯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. The weather continues to be hot and humid and the daily watering continues. 7/4- 🎉HAPPY 4th of JULY!🎉 The FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photo has taken the heat like a champ and is transforming into a very LARGE and beautiful lady! She's over 5 feet tall now and is stretching! She has maintained excellent vigor, color and has shown great resistance to pests and other stressors! 7/6- Yesterday we had a thunderstorm pass through early in the day, which provided about an inch of rain in a short time. I went ahead and watered in the afternoon, but only gave the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod approx. 3g of water from the well, via garden hose.🌱🚿. 7/8- The daily watering continues, as does our blistering hot🔥weather. All is well with the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod and today, after watering her with 5g of well water, I gave her a good going over, looking at all the leaves topside and underneath and removing any leaves that were either yellowing or had other issues. Getting ready for flowering! On day 45 I placed a metal grid (90x90cm) on the bottom of the pot and a same one on the top as a scrog grid. Then I did a huge defoliation removing as much as I could under the net, exposing many small colas that were covered by upper leaves. On day 46 I didn’t switch off the lights in the night, so the princess has been awake for more than a day. I switched off the lights in the morning. After about 30 hours of darkness, on day 47 I switched lights back on and set up the timer for the switch to 12/12. In this first week I’m waiting for the plant to empty the reservoir, then 2 days of flush, and will start kicking bloom nutes (with fungi, bacteria and sugars) at half dosage next week.

I've been feeding and pulled a few fan leaves. They are all different heights and getting really tall despite only being in two litre pots. The tallest pheno is already showing red buds.

Day 18 - FIM cut made. Day 20 - Transplant to 38 litre airpot. Day 21 - She is growing the most by far. I'm expecting a big jump in growth in the next few weeks.

Good start to the week temps dropping slightly. Some light defoliation and tucked a few branches under the trellis for light penatration a little video in there looks like the stretch has calmed down focusing on producing flower now ... 09/12 a little problem went to find my trellis had come of the clips pulling my canopy into one big ball sorted it and put a pic up of the day after so no major problems or snapped branches luckily thanks for reading happy growing

Everything as usual. Molasses, earthworm juice at this days. Cut some inmature branches. No diseases, the buds are going bigger and bigger :) I think I'll harvest my ladies on ca. 20th August, so in less than 1 month!

Whats up GD !!! ------------- GROWTH------------- She is just exploding in growth, but she has small leaves and structure in comparision with my friend's BC , showing purple colours and growing new bud sites , frosty frosty haha it smells dank like a concentrated incense, quality seems good :) ------------- IRRIGATION------------- 1.5l, watering aprox each 2-3 days, when soils is dry, but is raining almost every day, so two irrigations in 2 weeks aprox, one with nutes and other with ph 6.7 water, this strain seems to like almost dry soil . ------------- NUTRIENTS------------- Top Bloom (2 ml/l). Harvest Report – Blue Sunset Sherbert The weed turned out absolutely phenomenal! The colors were stunning – incredibly dark, almost black, with deep purple hues that really popped. It was harvested at Day 80, with about 20% amber trichomes – just the right timing for a balanced effect. Check out the pictures – they speak for themselves! Die Farben waren atemberaubend – richtig dunkel, fast schwarz, mit tiefvioletten Tönen, die richtig hervorgekommen sind. Geerntet wurde bei Tag 80, mit etwa 20% bernsteinfarbenen Trichomen – genau der richtige Zeitpunkt für einen ausgewogenen Effekt. Schaut euch die Fotos an – sie sprechen für sich! Smell is unreal, sweet candy shop sorta scente, buds are extremely hard so far like steel 🤞.... the tall scruffy thing in baxk, hasn't had the optimum PAR as you can see also, it was the only one in the gold label special mix (pre fertilised) media...

The plants have now started to flower and exploded with some more growth. Ive added canna boost now amd increased the dosage of A and B until growth slows down. Looks like the one on the left might take a bit longer to finish. We'll see. Im not goint to do any more training for now other than defolliating. The next week ill trim back any grpwth underneath that i dont think will give me any decent buds. Peace Charliezard

I had a lot of fun with this strain and it was grown against 400 growers so let me say PHENO hunting is a true thing. Overall the Bud was a nice dense structure and the smoke on it was smooth and the high nice and even.

9/22 topped them at 4th node. some of them are looking better for mainlining that others. some of them i may not mainline and others i left an extra node in case i want to keep clones around. #1 is looking happy with the topping and looks really good. #2 is the only one thats been praying and is the tallest and strongest looking all around. #5 short and such tight internodal spacing that it makes it hard to see whats all there. just looks like a bunch of small leaves until they grow out. i may not mainline this one either be cause of it being so tightly packed it may make it 9/27/24 day 20 theyre growing quite well. #1 i ended up taking the bottom nodes. i was originally goi g to use them as clones later on but decided to just let her go with her 4 nodes. #5 is so tightly packed, she has like 8 mains all in such a small space, its hard to even make sense of it all.

Exited for harvest 1 more week i think 😁
