17.01. F15 The plants have now reached a height of around 80 cm, and the stretch is almost finished, slowly coming to an end. Bud production has clearly started, and overall the plants are looking very healthy, strong, and well structured. Over the past days, intensive defoliation and lollipopping has been carried out, but deliberately not all at once. Instead, a small portion is done each day to keep stress levels as low as possible. Due to the heavy branching, a large number of small side shoots had formed, many of which were removed to improve airflow and create a more open plant structure. Overall, the grow continues to run very smoothly and according to plan, once again strongly supported by the Biotabs nutrient system. One major advantage is that no CalMag, no dolomite and no additional corrections are required. Feeding is done strictly according to the Biotabs schedule, otherwise following an “only water” approach – with outstanding results so far. Powdery mildew is still present, but only at a very minimal level. Occasionally, 2–5 affected leaves appear and are removed immediately. In addition, the entire room and the plants are treated twice a week with a water–Purolyt solution. Compared to the previous run, there is a very noticeable improvement, and the effect is clearly visible. At this point, the grow is running fully on track, and the photos and videos speak for themselves.

Tag 40: Ich gebe zusätzlich Alg a mic in das Gießwasser zur Stressbehandlung. Tag 46: Ich habe mich entschlossen diesen Grow abzubrechen. Seit kurzem werden die Blätter hell und fühlen sich trocken an. Ich vermute es liegt daran das ich einmal ein großen Schluck zu hartes Wasser genommen habe. Ich hatte einmal zuwenig Gießwasser vorbereitet (PH wert eingestellt 6,3) und es lief unten nicht raus so nahm unvorbereitetes (PH wert 7 etwa) Wasser zum Schluss, zunächst wuchs die Pflanze normal weiter, doch nach 1-2 Wochen stagniert das Wachstum die Blätter sind hell und trocken, auch die neuen Triebe sehen nicht gut aus.

I am now using bud candy .2ml per gallon. Also still using mammoth p .6 ml per gallon. Flowers are forming nice on both strains. I turned the diablo up to 90%

Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. This week I defoliated all the flowers, did Bruce Banner's topping, increased the light to 75%, and continue to do LST. I think to give 2 more weeks of vegetation, defoliation once a week. Next I'll transfer to 12/12 and we'll see 🙃

Another good week. Watered them twice. I'm not planning on feeding them again. A little defoliation. I definitely think they are in the last 2 weeks before harvest. Still seeing some nutrient burn developing on the leaves. I don't think I watered enough through the whole grow! I'd love to hear opinions on this! Took some videos of the buds with an iPhone 12 at 6X magnification. Decent quality! Otherwise, still looking to successfully harvest these plants! Thinking about the next grow. Probably going to be Auto Strawberry Cheesecake and Auto Anesthesia. Peace!

Day 76. Last two weakest plants - Strawberry Banana and Orange still going outside. Weed is very resilient plant. I think I will have half ounce from each easy ! Still something ;)))) Stems looks still terrible and dead, hope it won't transform into bud rot. I am leaving for holiday and hope to chop them or bud rot in a month ;)))) If it will be any harvest - I'll do an upload , if not - it's my last record here. Day 83. Tried to chop them asap some bugs started to attack. Found few larvas and then found this - hard as f@ck , radioactive , neon light pulsing alien EGGS ;))))) Not bad end of growing career ;)))) Thanks all companies and wonderful platform !
