Flowering week 8
We have reached the week where we put the finishing touches on the jungle. At this stage of the ripening process, we got rid of the larger fan leaves on the last two gorillas so that the lower branches also get the amount of light they need to ripen. Apart from that, we have been checking the trichomes on a daily basis and are waiting for the right time to harvest. Beautiful colors have greeted the jungle, which also suggests that we can soon start preparing for the chop. As for the two more mature girls, it's just a matter of days. There trichomes are fully milky with a few clear hier and there.
The buds are swelling up, i see a few pistils tips starting to turn pink and the rest are all brown.
Buds are rock hard and sticky.
Not much has changed in terms of scents compared to the previous week. A ripen fruit basket with a hint of lavender. Thanks to a lower temperature at night we can see some purple hoes especially on one pheno and two others are showing also some signs of multi- colouration. ๐
Dimmed back the light to 80% which means 700-850 ppfd at the top of the canopy.
Watered twice this week with 5 litres each. The two matured one with Flash Clean first and for the second time with de-chlorinated tap water on PH 6.4. The two bigger ones with Final Part.
See you soon!๐จ๐ฑ
hi mate, for first good luck and happy new journey!! may i ask you how do you dim your light and which distance do you keep from the plant during the first phase?
Hi @GrowerOG, Thanks a million, buddy.๐๐ป Since I've been using a par meter, my job is much easier. If you don't have one, just follow the manufacturer's recommendations and you โll be fine.;) Which phase do you mean?
