Hi there,
Whatโs up fellow gardeners? Here we go with the weekly jungle update. This is flowering week 5.
After a long and stressful period we arrived at the stage where the ladies don't have to focus on anything else but what they love most, blooming.
As I mentioned last week our goal was to optimize the humidity in the tent for better resin production. The first attempt was an extra inline fan with which I tried to get more fresh and dry air into the tent but it didnโt work out really well. The final solution was an old exhaust fan we found in the garage. Itโs much louder but also more effective so we finally found the perfect solution.
After a few days, the girls were grateful for all this and started producing resin amazingly. Even the bigger sugar leaves are coated with a thick layer of trichomes all the way down to the lower sites.

However, the development of the buds is more slowly than usual, but maybe this is just the nature of the breed, or I'm simply impatient.
Watered twice this week, once with nutrients and at the end of the week a good flush with 6 litres each of de-chlorinated tap water and Flash Clean. This to make sure there is no unnecessary salt buildup in the soil.๐ฆ๐ฑ
The aroma this week is sweet and fruity with hint of chocolate.
VPD:1,31-1,49 kpa
PAR: 670-890 PPFD
The Ts3000 is running on 80-85%.
See you soon and Happy growing!

hi mate, for first good luck and happy new journey!! may i ask you how do you dim your light and which distance do you keep from the plant during the first phase?
Hi @GrowerOG, Thanks a million, buddy.๐๐ป Since I've been using a par meter, my job is much easier. If you don't have one, just follow the manufacturer's recommendations and you โll be fine.;) Which phase do you mean?
