Evening all...back on it AGAIN!!!! Worst is, in the middle of a heat wave (Hottest day every recorded in this part of the world a couple of days in a row!!!)...still need to finish trimming my last crop!!! :'( Will get that done over the next couple of days as these girls need rehoused!!! So, got a cloner at the start of the year...was planning on clone a spare wedding cake I had but that sort of went to pot and life got in the way and that didn't happen. As I also got a hold of an Ultrasonic Mist Generator, I thought I'd give this "Fogponics" Germination thing a go!!! Seeing as @Sweet_Seeds donated a few Magical Beans to my cause, I thought I'd give their genetics a whirl. The Red Hot cookies looked too cool to pass up on!!! So, got the beans popped on the 12th of July and by the Thursday, they were showing their wee heads. One though was also showing its wee tail - I hadn't buried it enough and it popped itself out of the Jiffy Coir plug I started them in. I did get it reburied and it has started growing but you can see its the runt in the pic...intend on keeping this one as a cloner (And will give the cloning a fair whack this time!!!). Since I was worried that the one that popped the soil was going to be impacted, I dropped a 3rd bean and true to form, it was out of the root riot in 4 days also. Got them into the 'fogponics' machine and let them rip (Under 2x11W T5 Sunblaster 6400/k's and a Amazon Special LED light for extra Spectrum) and they seem to be coming on grand. Noticed some yellow spots on the leaves and in 2 minds if it was: A. calcium (As starter plugs are Coir and I didn't put calmag in the plug hydration mix - Jiffy Original plugs are supposed to be buffered for this!!!); B. if I should have broken and washed them out of the Coir and put them into straight Hydroton (The fog could have been saturating the Coir and choking the internal roots a bit) or C. if its just the abusive heat we've been having here (In a country where A/C is basically unheard off as heat doesn't exist outside!!! 😋). Roots are ripping out of the net pots now so they're about as ready for transplant as can be...just wanna give a day or 2 more to see if the heat here settles as I can't adequately cool the area they're going too - but then again, under LED so heat may be good as it doesn't heat the leaf surface up as much! Plus I have a couple of plants to trim...still hanging in their humidor tent when is needed again for growing! Think this will also be the retirement party for the Wilma. Going to build an Undercurrent Fallponics system when this run is done (Wont have time to get it setup before these girls need forever homes!!!). Have the crates bought and a bit of research done on how to DIY a build so hopefully this turns out to be a decent run. Also have a few people with building experience on hand to give advice. Since last grow: Lights have been upgraded to a Geekbeast 630W Pro LED (3500K Spectrum - UV 385nm and Far Red 730nm built in [won't use the 730's as they can't be run independent of the Main Lights...be wary of this if you buy one off Alibaba for the 730's built in!!!] - Will run the 385UV's though throughout the grow for more blue...will run then 3 hours after lights on to until 3hours before lights off). Also procured an InvisibleSun LED 730nm Flower Initiator (Will use this for EOD Far Red treatment to try a 13/11 flower cycle) and a Migro UVB310 fixture - For the Trikes!!! 😝. Have a Haliea 300A winging its way to me as we speak. Have some Non-Stick Micro-tips flying in from the Grand old US of A a will to get a better, more consistent yield. 📆 Week 6, 26 May - 1 June 2024 26-31 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 1 Jun - Did a light defoliation of plant (see picture) to allow light to reach all bud sites. 📑 This is her first week of true flower and she is still stretching some. Her size has doubled and as is now into more intense lighting, the canopy coverage reads at 40 DLI. It looks like the light power will need to only stay at 50% in this small tent. The new light is proving itself well so far, more light without added heat, no complaints - except for the dimmer switch. A true consumer marketing mistake by ViparSpectra. 🍶 28 May nutrient solution changed 🍽️ 28 May feeding schedule updated 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🐉 Nutrient solution EC 2.6 at 70 degrees F 🔆 Light power at 50%, DLI 40 canopy coverage at 18hrs 😤 Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this week. This was my best experience yet with growing and am quite proud of myself! Training went almost perfect and the plants handled the resistance strengthened up and sprouted so many buds! All we’re dense and frosty by the end time! I dried in brown paper bags in 17.5-18.5c temps with a humidity of 40-50% and took 7 days to dry! I have them curing in 3L glass jars with 62% Boveda pack inside! I’ll be able to really taste the flavour then but it’s already strong and tastes great! Royal queen seeds are definitely worth a top place on seeds! Added a few photos after cure! The smell is like sweet pungent and flowery and the high is full body and u get itchy eyes and dry mouth!

Day 50. Still a lot larger than I anticipated. But the good news is she still fits in the 3x3 and is showing signs of slowing down the stretch. Iv heard people burning up their plants using canna PH13/14. So I’m going to mess around with a couple dosages and see how she handles it. So far this method has done almost exactly what I wanted. Stayed about a foot shorter with a much more even canopy. In about 10 days she will be getting another heavy defoliation. Update day 54. Heavy defoliation under way to expose bud sites. In about 6 days I’m going for mt first schwazzing. Should be a good time Update: As week 8 comes to an end I and very happy with the progress. I’ve bumped the ec up to 2.8. Will continue on that for a little bit longer. Day 60 about I will do my first “schwazzing” pretty excited about that.

As I predicted the weather last week guess what?... it was a cold and wet week. My main issue its yellowing of the wedding cake. think i as to do with the cold weather as she is the close to the door. I allso burned then a litle with the foliar. The instruction clearly say it may burn withe heat and light aply at night. Guess what?... it was midday.... Black Cream Its Growing Good. Couckush its a litle bit burned. Growing good. Chubby Litle plant for now. Bomberry its starting to become the beast as is leaves size show. Totally diferent genetics Cheers BrotherHood

Week has had ups and downs🙃 Plants seem to be growing fine 🙂 But there is yellowing and spotting still that I cannot resolve.🙄 Day 22- Still having some kind of deficiency/issue. They are growing well, don't really seem to be stunted. I think I may have burnt them with nutes.🤧 Flushing may help. 🤷‍♂️😅 Run-off pH is at 6.08, PPM 266 I have flushed them, lowered feeding... I'm driving myself crazy. Hahaha Update 119 Day 23- Things are looking better. Day 94 🌞 - Since I'm a bit afraid of mold, I run the fans at a higher speed, which causes the leaves to rub against each other and causes physical damage to the leaves. A few tips are burnt but nothing to worry about. ------------------------------------------------------- Temp. avg. - 22,6° Hum. avg. - 53,6 %

03/22 - Night/Daytime shots - Both have grown about an inch since last week and are thriving - I will be running drip lines on them probably by the end of the week for consistency with feeds. 03/23 - They got a little funky on me last week so I fed them both to run off and realized their PPMS/PH where insane!! - Flushed them out hard last night and in less then 24hrs they are already bouncing back - Will stick to just clean water feeds for now - They will begin a low-dosage nutrient feed (Micro-dosing) in about a week.😎😎😎😎😎😎😎

04/03/2020 All are doing well. #5 (Male) has gotten a lot more sturdy, all other will be Given numbers when Repotted to final pots. Today is day 21 and will be first real week of veg at 18-6 will veg until mature enough to flower, 55 days maybe?, that will give me time figure out how many males and females I got to work with. I will most likely pollinate a branch of each female to try and isolate some cherry vanilla terps mmm! Ps. As soon as they are big enough I will get one clone of each female and male. (Future Breeding ideas). And save to compare with the next 5 beans out of my 10 pack. I'm dreaming of cherry cheese cake flavor, or cherry lifesaver.

So i thought i had a touch of nute burn so eased up slightly going from maybe 2/3rds recommended to half this week. But now a number of the leaves are yellowing slightly along the edges of the fan leaves. Lower leaves not yellowing much at all. Nute deficiency or what i don't know. Will ask the community once i work up the courage.

Fed only water for the last 7 days then chopped. Sticky to touch. Smells great 👍
