Longer warmer days

Aug 17: gotta love big fast plants. This is a nice big plant and the buds are forming very quickly. Added a scrog net layer because I realized the buds are getting heavy already and will likely want more support. These loosely placed Scrog nets are working great and they make it easy to expose buds while tucking fan leaves out of the way. Honestly, I can hardly believe how fast these buds are maturing. Very impressed. Aug 18: another cool and slightly rainy day but at least it’s not so smoky. This new normal of ‘which town is gonna get burned this year?’ Is not fun at all. This year is was a third of the town of Jasper which is inside a national park. Aug 21: this plant is awesome with really big buds forming quite quickly. The buds are starting to put on weight and the UV light is definitely helping to produce trichomes. 👍👍 I love this plant. #seedsman420growoff #seedsmanseeds

Due to the pandemic, I was unable to update this diary weekly, but I recorded the results of the harvest with some photos and only now managed to update the diary. Of two plants, both flowering amazing without big problems. Flowering went well despite the plants having to withstand a lot of heat. Happy Growing to all 🤜🤛🌲💪🙏💚

Flowering Week 6 91 Octane - she is fully in flowering week 6, her smell so strong and sticky buds are forming bigger and still working in her flowering process.Let’s see in 100 watt how much bigger buds she can flower. Banana Daddy - her flowering is in week 4, so I’m not satisfied cuz in my vision her buds are a little smaller than 91 Octane. Actually it’s in week 4 what r u expecting so much LoL so I’m hoping her buds to become bigger. Sugar Cane - Actually she is in week 2, her flowers are starting to form bud shape and trichome are appearing.

3 weeks into the vegetative stage. The pre-sex flowers start to show. I bend the main trunk to get nice side shoots for maximum budsites. Lets hope she still has a week before getting in the flowering stage to max her size.

Skywalker OG — Harvest / Trim / Cure Part 2 — More Giants Enter The Galaxy First of all, once again, apologies for dividing this Skywalker OG harvest series into multiple parts. But honestly… there is simply too much happening here to compress everything into one single report without losing the individuality of these plants. This is not just one harvest. This is: * multiple giant plants * multiple phenotypic expressions * hundreds of photos * countless observations * trimming sessions * drying progression * resin collection * and eventually smoke reviews still to come So instead of rushing through it, we decided to properly catalogue this run the way it deserves. And honestly? These girls earned that respect. ⸻ Quick Recap — The 12/12 Galaxy This entire project was grown: 12/12 from seed with very little intervention. No heavy training. No aggressive shaping. No topping. Mostly: * gentle canopy opening * leaf tucking * minor defoliation * and allowing the plants themselves to naturally decide their structure And once again, this run keeps proving something fascinating: 12/12 from seed does not necessarily create huge tall plants… …but it can create incredibly efficient plants. Compact. Dense. Heavy. Productive. The only true giant-height exception in the room was the Ghost Train Haze that nearly reached two meters. But these Skywalker OG girls? They stayed more compact vertically while transforming themselves into absolute flower-producing machines. And honestly? That efficiency became ridiculous toward the end. ⸻ Heavy Enough To Collapse At this stage, all three plants reached the point where their own flower weight became difficult to manage. The branches simply cannot support themselves anymore. Support or no support… these girls are collapsing under pure mass. And honestly? That’s the kind of “problem” growers love having. Huge swollen colas. Dense flower stacking. Rock-solid buds. Resin everywhere. Exactly the type of structure that makes trimming both exciting and slightly terrifying at the same time. Because you already know: these are going to become extremely dense once fully dried. ⸻ Frost, Density & Structure One thing that keeps standing out over and over again with these Skywalker OG plants is the combination of: * density * frost * and sheer flower volume The flowers are not only big… they are compact. Very compact. The kind of buds where simply pressing lightly already tells you: “This is going to dry into rock-solid flower.” And visually? Absolutely beautiful. Bright swollen calyxes. Heavy trichome coverage. Long sugar leaves curling outward. Beautiful late-flower fading tones appearing everywhere. Every branch feels loaded. Top flowers. Middle flowers. Lower flowers. No wasted space. ⸻ Perspective & Scale We also wanted people to properly understand the actual size of these plants. Because sometimes photos alone can be deceptive. So throughout this session we kept including: * hands beside colas * Mr. Baggy appearances * hats * studio comparisons * and even the JBL speaker for scale references And honestly… some of these flowers make normal objects look small. These are serious colas. Not exaggerated internet “looks big in the photo” flowers. Actually big. Actually heavy. Actually difficult to hold comfortably after a while. ⸻ Mr. Baggy Continues His Internship Of course… Mr. Baggy stayed with us through the entire process again. At this point he’s basically part of the harvest crew. Always supervising. Always present. Always emotionally supporting the trimming sessions. And honestly? The studio moments with: * giant plants * giant colas * cameras * lights * resin-covered gloves * and Mr. Baggy sitting there in the middle of the chaos… became part of the memory of this run itself. ⸻ Charas — Living Resin One thing we absolutely loved once again during harvest was the amount of resin immediately collecting onto the gloves while handling fresh flowers. The moment fan leaves started coming off: * resin buildup started * fingers became sticky * gloves became greasy * and naturally… charas started forming again. And honestly, we really enjoy talking about charas because many people still don’t fully understand what it is. Charas is one of the oldest forms of cannabis resin collection in the world. Traditionally associated especially with regions of India and Nepal, charas is made by gently rubbing fresh living or freshly harvested cannabis flowers between the hands to collect the resin directly. Historically and spiritually, charas has deep connections with: * traditional medicine * spiritual rituals * Himalayan culture * and even Lord Shiva himself in many traditions. And honestly? There’s something incredibly beautiful about it. Because unlike dry sift or cured trimming resin… this is living resin. Fresh resin. Still full of life, moisture, oils, and volatile aromatic compounds. That’s why we personally separate this experience mentally from the later finger hash collected during dry trimming. Both are beautiful. But fresh charas feels: * softer * richer * oilier * more alive * and incredibly expressive terpene-wise This Skywalker OG produced amazing charas too. Dark. Greasy. Sticky. Easy to collect. The kind of resin that instantly tells you: “These plants are loaded.” ⸻ Full Plant Drying Just like the first plant, these girls are now drying whole. Entire plants hanging intact. We personally love this drying style because it slows the process slightly and helps preserve: * terpenes * moisture balance * aroma * and overall cure quality The drying conditions remain: First couple of days: * ~45% RH to help remove the heavier surface moisture from these extremely dense flowers. Then afterward: Remaining drying phase: * ~60% RH * 18–20°C for roughly: 7–10 days depending on how these massive flowers release moisture internally. Because honestly… with buds this dense, patience becomes extremely important. ⸻ Looking Ahead — Trimming Begins Soon The next reports will most likely focus heavily on: trimming And honestly? We already know these sessions are going to be intense. Because these plants are absolutely packed with: * dense flowers * resin * swollen calyxes * and heavy branching So yes… this series may realistically become: four parts or maybe even five. This week I will maintain the same techniques from previous week. Noticed that main leafs got bigger during the weekend, both plant look healthy and happy and are now looking wider. Also to note that I have been rotating the vases so they catch light in different positions/sides. It does not replace the real sun movement however it will stimulate the growth in different parts of the plant. Hopefull by the end of this week we will have a new set of baby leafs.

been feeding pretty heavily, flipping in a week or 2. hardest plants i’ve grown so far

I will start with flushing .. almost ready

my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are one of the hardest as fucking rocks type of buds! very dense , compact , sticky , smelly , amazing at every aspect growing stage was 60 days and flowering stage was 70 days total (harvested tops at day 63th) the total weight of dry buds was : top buds 174 G + lower buds 55 G = 229 G my overview of strain with details: the seeds: unfortunately i only got 1 seed cracked out of 5 so i will not know how much this genetic can get different but at least i got the chance to grow once of this wonderful strain the plant : in every stage you can ensure that you are dealing with a high level plant , she will get big so you have to control her height LST and SCROG highly recommended , will grow very well with tick stalks and big fan leaves , has good resistance for stress and will respond very well to stress trainings , she really has gorilla power in herself , fresh buds on plant : buds are very compact and dense even from start , fresh blossoms smells like pineapple and mango , 2 different shades of sweet smells like you hold 2 junks of pineapple and mango in your hand and you smell them together, she is a trichome and resin factory , very very sticky , very oily , strong smell dried buds: very compact and dense , hard as rocks , has dark colors with purple hues inside it , it smells sweet smoke : very smooth and sweet like lollipop , pineapple , mango like , after 2 minutes it'll kick in and you'll get higher and higher with every breath , has a strange and especial high mind high mostly

Esta planta estuvo dos semanas en etapa de enraizamiento, tres en crecimiento y ocho semanas en floración. No tuvo ningún problema con nada, me resultó de fácil cultivo. En esta cosecha obtuve ciento cuarenta y siete g en total. Utilice una maceta Root House de 10L. El sustracto que utilice fue de Nube Verde, en su composición se incluye turba de categoría, perlita, humus, compost, tierra, dolomita y vermiculita. Sin duda volvería a probar esta genética otra vez, supero mis expectativas.

They’re off and running, I may need to fill two of the pots with a bit more substrate as I ran out towards the end. Otherwise, they’re feeding and growing well.

🌱 Week 6 Update 🌱 So I caught a little hiccup this week — turns out my timer was off by 2️⃣ hours! 😅 I’ve adjusted it back to the proper 18/6 light schedule 🌞🌚 so we’re back on track. This strain loves the nutes that's for sure.The way the main cola is forming ...gna be huge.Sweet asf smelling,gna feed her tmw again, every 2/3 days she needs to eat atm.Cant complain
