This week I bought some other plants to make sure my neighbourhood doesn't smell like weed when people walk by LOL. I would really recommend to buy plants like these. When I open the door to my balcony it now smells different, i don't know for how long since they are not in flowering stage yet, we shall see. Did some LST and defoliation like I do every week. Changed plant spots. This time I had to add more water to my feeding since it is getting hotter outside and my plants take up more because of having more roots and needs.

Day 63. Buds are coming along, bit slower than my Harlequin but still, progress. She has stretched like crazy, gonna have to supercrop couple tops. Sooo looking forward to try this strain. Both my plants are somewhere around week 3 flower

July 20 - day 41 - week 2 flowering

Flush time.

Growing big and bushy thanks to some early LST. So far so good, lots of pre flowers all over. Hopefully I will be seeing some buds here soon!

The Black Devil's OG is trucking along without issue, while the Northern light is a tad on the droopy side at night and is likely expecting earlier night hours. I will likely adjust my light schedule to reduce the stress. The videos posted came out pretty well, considering they came out of a cell phone camera. 400x ends up being really blurry as the phone can't focus properly to compensate, but you can still see all the bacteria dancing around. Some nematodes and ciliates there too.

Started flushing about 3 days ago. The plant itself has reached 12 weeks from germination. I will be harvesting this later on this week depending on how the flushes are going. I should of snapped off the lower branches at the start of flowering. But main goal with this setup was to grow naturally without any low stress training and topping. I will update the harvest very soon! One Love

Unfortunately I've harvested way too early because I wanted to restart my whole setup and everything. But the finished Product looks very very juicy and smells also like the other one very citrus lasting. All of all I'm more than overwhelmed with this terpen profile!

These ladies were heavy yielding - just wish the PK booster did not stunt them, I feel they could have even been larger, the buds are sweet and sticky, they smell amazing, they are hard and resinous - they have a beautiful mix of dark and light shades of green with bright orange hairs, very pretty, my friends are already in love with this weed, hits you like a Sativa and as the high lingers mellows like an Indica, I can't, wait to grow this again! The is an urban legend that occasionally a purple strain emerges, and when it does the outcome is legendary, just another reason to try this strain!

Since the internode spacing is getting smaller, I finished the scrogging in the middle of the week. The stretch is strong, but I think it's over. The plant gives off a pleasant tropical scent. Light Power: 80% Day 65 Flower #14 Photoshooting

This is a seriously hard plant to take photos of, it's so big and lanky. She's on about a 20 degree angle at this point too, she's very top heavy 🤣 Very impressed with this girl. I almost tossed her out as a seedling due to her mutation; I've included a seedling photo to show the reader how far this plant has come. She has produced very dense and sticky buds with extremely strong aromas. She smells like candy and gas, just like a zkittles female would smell late in flower. It's been an easy grow. I'm expecting about 4 oz of high quality flower after dry and cure stages. I intend to press at least half of my yield with my rosin press. This seems like the perfect strain to make concentrates with due to the high terpene/trichome levels. I just added a photo of the Forbidden Runtz i grew in round 1 directly above round 2 flower for a comparison between the two. Round 1 is the two top buds that have more brown/red tone in colour. Round 2 are the lower two buds...a bigger, danker, and better version of the Forbidden Runtz I grew the first time. Please leave a comment to tell me what you think of the photo comparison. May 26th After so many weeks of sitting around 69% relative humidity, I decided to look into how suboptimal that really is. Turns out, pretty suboptimal. That's danger-of-grey-mold territory. So I shelled out for an upgrade. We've gone from a 100mm 170m³/h extractor fan to a modern 150mm 587m³/h version. The difference was immediate, even running at 75% of its capacity. It was even cheaper than the original! Technology is advancing even if we're going backwards. The weight of some flowers have begun buckling their stems, so I've given them support using some wire on the scrog net. Bought a bigger watering can too, so I'm giving her around 11L~ (a full can) every three or four days as necessary. (update: since the change in RH and massive increase in ambient temps, it's 11L every 48 hours~ish) Her main cola is way too close to the light for comfort. If I could raise it I would, but we've been out of room for a while now. Astonishingly enough, no signs of stress as yet. Maybe some foxtailing? No discoloration. Smells lovely already, if I disturb her at all the air becomes a stage for subtle wafts of something heavenly lmao. Fingers crossed as always.

Holy smokes another great week. I could not help myself and my snippy hands trimmed some of the lower larfy flower sites, and interior fan leaves. She exploded in bud production. Dialed back the nutes a bit as she nears the finish line.

Hello Growmies, Week 12 with our Epic Buzz is showing us just how remarkable this plant truly is. The development has been nothing short of amazing, and there's an electric sense of anticipation for what's to come, not only with this beauty but also with the future Epic Buzz cultivars. The plant has fully embraced its flowering stage, with the buds stretching along the colas and starting to display a frosty coat of trichomes. These sticky crystals are not just limited to the buds; some of the larger fan leaves are getting their share of the sparkle too. The buds themselves are clustering so tightly around the colas that they're beginning to fill in the gaps, giving rise to the hope that they might just form those perfect, gapless spears we all aim for. Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht.
