Day 43 - First day of week 7 today and she looks really good just not sure if she’s really starting to flower yet. I’m hoping this is just typical of the GC strain. Day 44 - No major changes, she’s growing and I’m loving the looks of her. Will continue uploading daily pictures. Day 45 - She’s looking really good and budding more and more each day. Gave her straight pH’d water today and tomorrow and will give her another feeding on Saturday. She’s drinking almost a gallon of water a day. Day 46 - Things are looking good with this girl. Bud sites are growing daily and this thing is a beauty. Gave her another feeding of just pH’d water and will “feed” her tomorrow. Day 47 - ALL is looking good and she’s looking purdy. Gave her a feeding with the foxfarm nutes today. Did a true measurement to the biggest branch and she’s at 25.5”. Will continue to measure each day to see how much she’s growing in a 24 hour period. Day 48 - Looking gorgeous and still stretching. Grew another two inches and is sitting at 27.5” right now. She’s really starting to fill in now and looking forward to the next few weeks. Day 49 - The way thing thing is growing, she’s gonna be a beast. Gave her straight pH’d water tonight and will give her a feeding tomorrow. Looks like she finally stopped stretching, sitting at 27.5” still so hopefully she’ll start putting on the weight.

Stanno bene entrambe ma la più grande l'ho dovuta defogliare per bene e sono certo che tra 15/20gg farò una seconda passata. Ultima bevuta prima di mandare in fioritura EC 1.28 ph 5,8. Anche le due Rainbow Belts sono diverse perché sfregando il gambo una sa di Zkittlez l'altra di frutta quindi penso più a qualche fenotipo dosidos. La Milk Monkey è quella che per struttura mi piace più di tutte. Per la prima volta ho preso dei cloni anche se non so dove tenerli e sotto che luce. Per ora li ho messi in un vaso ricoperto da velina nel box delle autofiorenti

12/30/23 - Day 54 - Hello All! I started this week a day early. I wanted to update everyone on something I have been thinking about a lot. Curing. I feel if there was a hole in my growing skills it would be curing. Last grow there was more than I had anticipated. I was not set up for curing 1 lb. I threw in an audible at the last minute. It worked out but I know I can improve with some trial and error and hands-on experience. So after reading a ton, and going off of some of my prior builds for drying, I came up with this design. I have a controller that will turn the air on and will run when the contents inside the box hit whatever RH% I want to set it at. I think the first week I will set it for 78%RH, then every couple of days go down a % until I hit 62%. The thought is that if the bucket gets above the set RH% then the air will kick on and distribute air across the buds until the RH% is back down to where you want it. It will force the humidity out. I won't need to worry about burping. It will happen on its own.... in theory. Ill update tomorrow with some pictures after the water change. 12/31/23 - Day 55 - Everything is looking good. The water change completed this morning while I was in the shower. Its adding nutes now and will do so over the next hour or so. She is starting to get stinky. I had to add the extra carbon filter to the room. I've got some pics up top of that. Happy New Year! Next time I post it will be in 2024! Have a great night and be safe! I got a comment on the bushy-ness and I got self-conscious and gave her a trim. Lol I have been going bath and forth for a while and that gave me the push to give her a little trim. She looks great and is growing really quickly. Ill update with more pics as it goes along.

1-sept: The dead spots on the leaves are due to my clumsiness; I have dropped nutrient water on her by mistake. I have a very small tent so I'm glad she's growing short and not stretching like the first week. The thing that surprises me is that she has already started to emit the smell we all know to love. But gotta stay stealth. I'll be adding a carbon filter to the extraction fan by the end of this week. Peace. Fingers crossed.

Week 2 timelapse up!

Hi Growmies I hope your week had been as productive and fun as mine and that your flowering is progressing. It has been a very easy week to manage their needs. Nicely set and with lots of light per plant , we have a lot of clusters of pistils throughout their whole structure. Keeping the humidity lower now is helping to reduce the risk of bud rot with so much vegetation and fresh pistils to feed it. It will also help raise the oils needd within the girls to keep them supple amd attractive to those buzzy friends they hope to attract. The smell of sweet pineapple is so strong in the room now and their stickiness from resin is really starting to show itself now. It is evident that the plagron products have had a substantial effector the progress now with so.mamy sets of flowers lower in the canopy too. Seeing other grows of the Biscotti not using the products , there is a difference in node lengths between flowers without doubt. The flowering plants are nice and stocky compared to most of my previous grows sonit has been easier to keep them well within the lights sweet spot With just 2 weeks left that will hopefully be the adding weight and second flowering sets kicking into play too , a good yield could be on the cards. I do seem to have 2 phenotypes off the Biscotti running so it will be interesting to see how they differ at the end for yield etc.. I have added a small greenhouse heater to bring the temp up a little and help with the humidity control too as we are experiencing a very cold snap again in good old Blighty. All in all a great week with a more to follow hopefully. 😀 Be lucky and stay safe among the chaos unfolding.......

Here we are, ready, after a week of truly fruitful germination we have 20 beautiful plants all marked with the Z of Zamnesia. We have moved on to autoflowering, unlike many growers I have no prejudices about this type of plant, it is true that they are the easiest to make but it is also true that they have improved a lot in terms of flower quality and if once ease meant lower quality now even the most presumptuous old school flower children growers struggle to understand if a flower is autoflowering or a normal photoperiod plant. There are people who claim to recognize it by the flavor but then never succeed, it's funny how it works. I enjoy making them strip their heads with these magnificent new autoflowering. This one in particular is not brand new but it has always kept up with the times and has the strength of the name and the stability of the historic strains of Zamnesia this is nothing universal strains this is one of the spearheads of the house: Sticky Beast autoflowering. It's really a great plant already grown in the past by me and some of my friends have always loved it like crazy. Monday Gave her some enzyme, I think it's supposed to help the plant break down nutrients so we'll see. I'm exactly 70 days from seed, 63 days since I transplant it to the 10 gallon pot, it should be a 10 week auto flower so I'm hoping I'm close to harvest. The flowers are really starting to turn purple now, I suspect its a sign that it's finishing, looks really cool close up! Tuesday No work done today, dry day. I think the buds are ripening, that purple is really starting to come out right across the canopy, can wait to see what it's like right before cutting 😀 Wednesday Gave her 5l of water with 5ml of plagron pure enzyme, I'm checking the trichromes under a glass every day now to try catch the right time to harvest, the buds are so frosty, still clear trics I thunk. Thursday Dry day today, its very nearly finished, trics are stating to turn Amber, I reckon I will give it a week more, maybe less and then I'm cutting! Friday Just clean water today, nearly at the point of cutting! Saturday No work done today, tomorrow is the last watering, its going into 2 days of darkness and then I'm cutting, so much work now so close! Sunday OK, so I think I've given it the last watering, I've just turned off the light and I'm going to leave it in complete darkness for 48hrs, then it's cutting time! 😀 I'm going to hang the plant whole, I'm only going remove some of the bigger fan leaves then dry trim, I've read that it's better that way, we'll see

So I was in week 2 with the Cream Mandarin when I realized I was not happy with her growth for what I want her to do, and it was totally my fault, and not the Breeder, so I decided to re-start as to represent Sweet Seeds properly as they have sent me pretty much whatever I have requested. I was attempting to start seeds in coco coir, which was very tough to satisfy the coco with Cal-mag and not burn the seedlings in the process. So I started using ProMix seedling starter and have been very happy with it so far. The other issue I ran into was satisfying the humidity levels for my seedlings, and also keeping my flowering auto happy. So, my final decision was to purchase a small 2x2 tent to double as a seedling tent and a drying tent. I hooked up a little 4 inch exhaust fan, put a heat mat on the floor, a small fan, and a Spider Farmer SF1000, a hydrometer, and a humidifier which is keeping it around 70% RH even with the little exhaust fan running 24/7. The toughest part of learning to grow Cannabis for me has been days 3-17. Once I get there I seem to be good. If anyone has any tips please hit me up. Thanks for stopping by, be safe, and Blaze On!

Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed.
