Buds are fattening like crazy this week, begun lowering nitrogen to allow concentration on the buds to get as fat as possible

WE ARE SO BACK PEOPLE!! 🎉🎉 Welcome welcome back to my weekly update, we got some good and some bad news this week. Bad news first: I will postpone harvesting due to the trichomes remaining clear which I am pretty frustrated about. BUT good news: we got some new light! I updated to a FC-1500 EVO from MarsHydro which got some insane efficiency compared to my last light. I can hang it 10 cm higher with a better light spread and a PPFD increase of 200 (now staying at around 900 PPFD throughout the tent) and all this while taking 10w less! Truly a technologie of all time! 😂 However I will harvest on Wednesday in the upcoming week, because it allows me to have my desired 10 days of dry-time while also maintaining my schedule with starting the Cup-grow February 1st. I also included some Bud Porn this time around because I felt like messing with DavinciResolve again, nothing too fancy though :) 14.01.: - watered all plants with 1L/plant - increased max. temperature to 26 Celsius - decreased the light to 20 cm height ➡️ all of this to boost the metabolism of the plants for them to produce cannabinoids faster and making my trichomes milkier 16.01.: - changed the lamp to MarsHydro FC-1500 EVO - height at around 30 cm while maintaining the temperature levels 17.01.: - watered all plants with 1L/plant - this is the last watering they will receive

This girl is looking grey and she is gaining some good size considering she is only in a one gallon pot... i keep thinking she's flipping a flower, but she hasn't. So I don't know if we have a photo on our hands, because like I said she's only in one gallon of dirt, I figured she would be flipped by now... I'm going to give her another week. And if she is not in flower and showing sex i'm going to put her in my other ten and put her on a twelve and twelve cycle ... either way she has 9 finger leaves showing some good haze traits ... Thank you to Herbies Seeds for making this grow possible and so far so good... I really hope everyone is doing well out there, and so are there ladies... God bless and happy growing ✌️

Week four is kicking off good!! Lst and defoliation are working great ready to start the stretch! One plant is showing signs of pre flower. So we will see 🤷‍♂️🏻 Upped the nutrients this week plants are drying out about every 36 hrs. I’m oh watering feeding and ph watering alternating right now and they seem to love it I’m going to start adding some fox farms soluables here shortly. I’ll update this week in a few peace! So an update it’s day 28 all are in pre flower and start of flower switched to the hps light still alternating feeding and watering about every two n half days. Started using open sesame on the last feeding will use it one more time and switch to beastie bloomz. Stay safe everyone!

Now that the plant is dry, I can go into a few more details. In my opinion, the harvest is a complete success for a beginner. During the harvest I realised how hard the flowers are. After drying, they became even harder, almost rock hard. The flowers are covered with many shiny trichomes. The harvest took quite a long time. I spent about 14 hours on it, which was also due to the super meticulous wet trim. The reason for the thorough wet trim was the mould. Every single flower was examined. I disassembled the large flowers before drying to be on the safe side. It's nice to have huge flowers, but in the end they are chopped up anyway. At the end of the 8 days of drying, the GG4 Sherbet FF rewarded me with finest ice-coated flowers. Thanks to the wet trim, I didn't have to do any more work. I was able to separate the buds directly from the branch and put them in the jars to mature. As the offcuts were also super potent due to the thorough wet trim, I processed them into butter.

I‘m back at Germany! After 3 weeks Break, my roommate gave Its best to take care of them… Temperature and humidity were Not that perfect, as I just told her to water and dung them right. But still they Look pretty good. I had to defoliate as much as I can to stop them to get oversized. Still Strawberry Banana got a huuuuge Stretch! It is way to Big for the tent… I might think about, letting her grow on the outside, to perform the Best and Not getting sun burnt by the light, which is to close on the buds. I water them now with 1,5L per day or until they get a drain. Looking forward on hold This setup for a while, increasing the Temperature again and try to drop the humidity down to 40%…

This week the GSCE hasnt really done much strechin but buds are filling in nice and starting to get sticcckkyyy. There isnt much smell coming from the llant but trimmed LARF smelt very fruity. Both the BB and GG4 have outgrown the GSCE by far with the BB actually being the largest. The BB could use a little more lollipopping i believe but dont wanna over do it. GG4 has lots of bud sites as well but has a lot more airflow. Have just basically been doing minor leaf stripping when needed.

START OF WEEK 6 DAY 35 I am not sponsored by any company, simply wanted to try out something new this grow. NUTRIENTS USED THIS WEEK Front Row AG Part A 4.2g per gallon Front Row AG Part B 2.8g per gallon Front Row AG Phoszyme .4g per gallon Front Row AG SI .5ml per gallon Front Row AG Triologic 1ml per gallon Front Row AG Clean Up .2g per gallon Another great week after the transplant to final pots. Every visible node was topped on all the plants. Some of the large fan leaves connected to the main stem were removed. Custom drip rings were made out of some 1/2 inch tube that I drilled some holes in. Each drip ring has its own shutoff due to different substrate being used. I was getting rid of some leftover stuff from past grows. This is not ideal, but it’s what I had to work with and cost no 💰 this go around. I’m hoping for a great stretch from these Mandarin Cookies. The net will probably go up at the end of the week followed by one final week before flipping the light cycle to 12/12 for flower production. I really need the height of the Cookies to catch up to the Super Lemon Haze that are growing like a maniac! I’m gonna take clones at some point…maybe. Thanks for stopping by and we’ll see you next week.

It has been a week of snap snap snap! let's call it accidental toppings - yes - multiple. The OG Kush seems to be quite fragile compared to other strains I've grown. Continued LST has resulted in me snapping off the end of the main stem and another major branch. Both days within switching the light regime. Now I have to fill up the net using lateral branches. Initiated flowering with an extended dark period (32hrs) prior to switching light regime at the beginning of the week - this practice is supposed to promote a faster initiation of flowering by the plant. Light green spots and other spots noted on big fan leaves, possibly a calcium or other deficiency. Spots are lighter shade, irregular though some are circular. End up turning bronze colour dust. No pests have been spotted during extensive inspections. The problem remains to older leaves only and doesn't seem to be affecting any new growth. I also think I may have some Nitrogen toxicity due to my CalMag solution having a NPK ratio of 6-0-0. Getting some low N solution this week so hopefully that will address any impact on the flowering stage. The plant still seems to be strong, forming strong branches and massive fan leaves. Growth is being tucked under the net to fill it up. Pruned a few stems and leaves from below the canopy which may never see the light of day. Run-off EC still remains below target. Tracking run-off volume/EC/pH at every fertigation event as I manage the feed EC to monitor what the plant is doing/feeding. Fertigation is maintained now to once a day (at lights on) to maintain the target EC. Light period is during the night time to better maintain heat/humidity conditions during light off period (which happens during daytime). ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The grow setup includes ; - Secret Jardin DS120W tent (120cm x 60cm x 180cm) placed inside the bedroom - Mars Hydro SP250 LED light - extraction fan - AC Infinity Cloudline T6 (gives me great control over the environment) - ventilation fans - aquarium heater for nutrients solution (for winter use only) - small oil heater (for winter use only) - small dehumidifier - 20L Airpots (as final pots) and 3.5L general plastic pots (for seedling stage) - Canna Coco substrate mixed with 40% perlite - GHE Flora Trio as base nutrients and various additives - pH and EC/TDS meters - 2x Govee Thermo/Hygro meters (one at canopy, the other at the roots level - these allow for external monitoring and recording) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some strain info from Royal Queen Seeds ; An amazing mix of genetics background - Its true genetics are unknown. Some say OG Kush is a mix of ChemDawg with a Lemon Thai and Pakistani Kush. Others say that it’s just a special cutting of ChemDawg from the early 90s. The most obvious trait of OG Kush is its strong, unique, very dank, slightly citrus aroma, almost like fuel or strong detergent. The flavour of OG Kush is equally as strong and dank, with a long-lasting aftertaste. Strong mental and physical high - OG Kush is an extremely strong cannabis strain, with most experienced smokers listing it as one of their favourites. The effect is as strong physically as it is mentally. Though its effect is like an Sativa, the strain's genetics are mostly Indica. The effect is as strong and complex as the flavour. OG Kush takes around 8 weeks to flower and on average the yield is 500 grams per plant.

Day 22: Hi all , hope we are all well. The Gluberry male has been banished now and wont be making another sneak attack ever again !. The remaining Glueberry ( #2) is now able to have her 1st gym session ( no social distancing or masks needed!). She has been bent over from her 4th node( no sniggering at the back !) so that her 5th(main) takes a horizontal path to the pots edges. The other growth below should form up similar to a quadline . Inwill allow it to go vertical when the flowering begins which should create 5 mains to develop into long chunky colas. Being an attempt to find my own best use of autos in this environment I use , is proving to be fun so far. Inhave other strains ( in my diaries here) that are being trained using this and other methods to again , see 1st hand what works for me. The Mimosa Lemon is doing really well too. she had her 1st session a few days ago and is responding perfectly so far. Both of these ladies are looking really healthy and green so far . I have not done a total soak of the medium yet and have been watering just outside of the plants leaf footprint. This is to encourage the rootball to set itself up for the flowering cycle and an important foundation for their overall possible yield. As above ,so below logic. lets see how they progress by the next update. be well and safe. welcome to the age of Aquarius. The feminine cycles turn !.
