Hello my fellow Growers👊 It was another Great week for the Kush Fromage 🙌 All the pictures were taken on Sunday, which was Day 42 of Flower. She is really starting to reek the whole area up. It is a very earthy kush like smell with fresh grapes on a grapevine mixed in, it's a very unique smell😊 She is supposed to be a very heavy resin producer and have a high THC and CBD content. Anywhere from 18-26% THC and ~3% CBD according to the breeder. I can tell you this it is one very very resinous plant😵 even the fan leaves and smaller leaves that have no trichomes on them have developed an oily resin on them. It's awesome so I can definitely say it is a heavy resin producer. If a sugar leaf touches another leaf you can see an oily resin where it touched it, my fingers get sticky just from the fan leaves👍The breeders estimated time of Flower is around 63 Days. So we got a few more weeks to go!! I hope the buds will fill in a good bit more but I am not counting on them getting huge due to this strain being more on the quality over quantity side of things. It's not a bad producer and I'm sure they can get some pretty huge flowers on em, but I have seen plants that can produce way more, but this strain makes up for it in its potency and resin production. Plus I personally like the Quality over quantity strains. At the beginning of the week I thought it would be a harvest week, but it drives me crazy: as it goes on to develop so greatly that I am not sure it will be done in more couple of weeks!...

Week 4 of flower and it’s been a week for the books. The males gizzed all over the females and we spent the better part of a week harvesting the males for pollen, then defoliating and spraying the pollinated females, then going full sanitize on the entire tent… (that part always sucks). Either way, they’re off to the seed making and generally showing a brilliant, yet subtle pink across most phenos. Gonna be pretty cool seeing how the colours develop on these👌. The fact that the pinks are prevalent amongst all plants is very encouraging. Still early for sure - but… potential for something special👍. Terp. Profiles are becoming quite pronounced now too. So far, we’ve got one that smells of a very sweet sorta pine in female #3 and a definitive baked berrry scent in female #1. The hope was always to balance out the earthiness of the Kush which is classic to the strain in terms of taste, just not overly tasty. Again, still early but we might’ve achieved that here on crossing🤞👌. All told and as long as we keep ‘em alive to the finish - we should have tons of seed and a well defined set of partially drilled down traits. Counting 3 discernible potential phenos so far and can’t wait to see what the clones reveal🤟. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. 12 day dry @ 58-63RH & 60-66F in blacked out dry tent | Glass Jar Cure with Inert gas Early taste test and I actually love this bud, is the best in house strain I've grown so far & the second Platinum cross. Flavorful Funky Sweet Orange cream cereal terps, the texture of the bud is buttery smooth, fluffy and pink/orange color when ground up. Bud has deeply potent effects that is IMO the perfect amount of heavy on the body but still euphoric and creative.. it makes you calm and happy! is checking off so many boxes not even cured, just smelling this batch makes a true connoisseur grin and bag appeal is insane

I started Flushing two plants as there nearing the end of there days. I'll start Flushing the others this week apart from the kalimist indica pheno as it started flowering 3 or so weeks after the others even though they were all forced together. (alkward bugger) Some of the plants are showing red /purple colours a little bit 👍

Ladies are on beast mode! Friday they got 4 cups of 4-4-4 Gaia green and 8gal of compost tea. I did some super cropping as there getting pretty tall and I don’t want them over the fence and at this rate there going to be! Hopefully if everything goes as planned I’ll have the boards or at least some to put up the next time I come home. We’re now into the 10 foot in diameter cages, a few branches started poking thru just the other day. These girls are going to be bigger then last year that’s for sure there already way bigger. We’ll see what next week looks like after some hst thanks for stoppin in.

Lots of good growth this week, starting my flush on the Pineapple Express. Gave her one last feeding of nutes this week. Smells fantastic in the tent, she reeks of pineapples and flowers. Trichome started getting cloudier, hoping she gets more crystals before her chop. Berry white is coming along nicely, I think it’s safe to say she’s pretty indica.. considering bw was my only indica seed and this plant is drastically different I’m going to go ahead and assume here. Flowers are finally starting to come along, she’s taking much longer to flower out than I thought she would. She took a few more weeks to show pistils than the other plants. I suspect I will chop her last. I harvested my oldest plant and moved the berry white plant into the smaller tent. Hopefully I get better light distribution over the next few weeks as I finish up these grows. Thanks for reading and happy growing! 👩‍🌾🏼🌱

Let's start another week😊The girls are doing great ! They received a single dose of Final Solution and Organic Bloom Stimulator.White Widow X Big Bud has started to give off a very intense aroma.Due to the density in the tent, it was necessary to install an additional fan.Looking at the progress, I expect a harvest sooner than declared.

She is nice.... I dont want her to be big she is hidden between the tomato plants... I am trying to keep her tied with LST :)

One plant had to go. I’m thinking it was maybe an issue with drainage because I didn’t mix enough, but everything else is doing pretty good. They’re a little unhappy with the light intensity but it looks worse because they were just watered. Fade is looking nice but some are getting tip burn I suspect because I did a 6 week flush. They might also lose some color in the next couple of weeks but I’m gonna be fighting it. Anyways thanks for checking in!

Germinated on Sat Sept 8th, 2018 @ 6pm. Tap roots within 18 hours on all. Planted into Coco-Coir (straight) with added Cal-Mag and B1 # 280 PPM and 6PH. In the pics: Taken Sept 13th. 2 days under the dome @ 75F @ 75% Humidity Also growing Blue Cookies From Crop Kings (pictured in Back row) Sept 19th Update - Will be Transplanting into 2L pots tomorrow as the roots are coming out the bottom of the seedling tray...

She looks wonderfully beautiful and vert healthy,she just like her sisters has started flower on August 3rd let's see how she performs,I'm loving this strain Black cherry punch so far! 🔝💚

Heavy feeder the 3 gallon pot proved regretful hurt her yield and caused her to run out of nuets first so on me Otherwise strong genetics and she did recover well Keep em fed this one 143 grams dry

Cherry Cola diesel smell ⛽️

24.02.24 - 1.03.24 Red hot cookies performing stunnigly as always. This is a true beauty and a wonderful plant. Very healthy and sturdy. Yesterday I already noticed some distinct candy mandarine aroma with some chocolate cookies mixed in. Lets hownshe develop those lovely colours ans smell. One of the older plants is already fed 7 times a day. Thats a record for me. In around 9l of coco.

The LST really opened up the girls and helped them to increase volume. During the week PE finally got some more training, it feels like she opened up nicely. It is not very comfortable to grow 2 plants in a 60*60cm tent.

Day 50 Flower: So far the last few cold nights have kept any 8 legged pests away: fears averted. A couple Hoverflies have been patrolling. After a quick google search I read they eat aphids so I think we're friends. Night time temps dipped as low as 5c while daytime temps were 22-24c with sunshine 95% of the time. I keep it indoor until 10am when it warms up so that morning photosynthesis isn't inhibited. I am aiming for 100g in 100 days so these last two weeks w may be tougher to keep her happy as temperature is rising into the high 20s(c). The one day i let her sit in the sun at 28c i noticed the top calyxs suffered UV damage and caused minor fox tailing. From then on if temperatures peaked above 26, my procedure is to shade it. I've made more frozen water bottles to circulate in and out of my reservoir every two hours. Root health has improved they are looking pretty good and the water is always kept cold to touch. I haven't used h202 in a few days. She smells more and more everyday! The smell drenches fabric and my darkroom smells for hours after taking her out for the day. Day 52: Temps hit 32c high today. I had to put the plant in the porch shade by 1230 when it peaked over 26c. Circulation fan on full blast keeps her happy and fox tail free (knocks on wood) She's drinking like a sailor close to 5 litres+/- in this heat. When i refresh the reservoir i give her a heavy dose 4ml/L. Then when topping up the reservoir I only use 2ml/L. Day 53: Trichrome inspection with a loupe confirmed its mostly cloudy with over 25% still clear as glass.
