Gettin close

Whew, what a hot, humid and wet week. Although we had a major storm this week, Zamnesia Mango Kush proved her strength to withstand all of the elements that have continued to be thrown her way. This week I took the time to go the Zamnesia Website and read about some of her characteristics. I wanted to read up on her because I had been giving her Miracle Grow nutrients and didn't feel like she was my best grow. As a result, I have made an executive decision to give her Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice Grow. I am hoping this will help Zamnesia produce great big buds. On another note, My Zamnesia Mango Kush is only 31 inches tall, whereas Zamnesia Seeds says it should boast a height of 39 inches for an outdoor grow. I am excited to see what the next couple of week will produce. Miss Zamnesia Mango Kush has definitely proven to be resilient because we have had some terrible tough weather to deal with during this grow and Mango Kush has stood the test of time. *****Week 17 growth – March 27 to Apr 2, 2021 – Week 8 flower ****** We are in the first full week of flush now. Color change time and more swelling😃👍 This girl has been a little smaller in bud mass but she has certainly been looking like fire little dense nugs on her💪👍😃 The smells coming off are increasing and getting some pine or lemon notes as well as woody. Buds are really dense but the lowers are going to end up in extracts as she has grown tight in a way and it’s been a little tough getting some light down lower in her. The girls are drinking well with being watered almost everyday. Moving into the phase of letting the pots dry right out before adding more water to ensure they are finishing all the nutrients in the media. Again, really just keeping them watered when they want it and taking pictures at this point😎 Little more detail….. Mar 27/21, Day 50 - 4L plain water at 6.0pH - fade is starting but she just isn’t going to lighten up as much as I would like by the time we get to the end......all is good though. Mar 28/21, Day 51 - 4L watering today with RO water. - 30ppm and 6.1pH Mar 29/21, Day 52 - cold in the tent today so turned the heater back on to brin up to 77 degrees. It was holding at 74, a little low. - nothing watered. Mar 30/21, Day 53 - 4L watering with tap water at 5.8pH - leaf edges darkening and showing some fade😃 Mar 31/21, Day 54 - watered late in the day with only 3L of RO water - 25ppm and 6.1 pH Apr 1/21, Day 55 - dry out day Apr 2/21, Day 56 - light power reduced again and down to 300 watts. - plain water with tap. - 3L each 280ppm and 6.1pH Through week 8 and going into 9 now. Still some nutrient to keep working on in the leaves......give them a little more time💪👍

6/17: I am keeping things as is for the time being. The light is 20 inches from the plant at 350 PPFD on a 24 hour light schedule. Growth seems to be constant and picking up steam with tighter inter-nodal spacing at these settings. I plan to switch from the seedling light spectrum to a vegetative light spectrum once the second set of true leaves gets a bit more of its form. I will also change the light schedule from 24hr to 20/4. 6/19: Today marks the first day of the 20/4 light schedule using a vegetative light spectrum. All other conditions are the same. I'm still only spraying the soil once a day but feel by next week, I can up the feeding with a little calmag. We will see! 6/22: End of week two and things are looking great. I'm still a newb but I can see improvement in my strategy this grow. The plant is growing nicely and seems to be on a good pace. 6/21, I added in some calmag and upped the feeding amount. I also bumped my lighting up a bit too. I saw quick results as seen in the timelapse that day, as the leaves started to pray up. As of Sunday, all is well and so far this grow is exceeding my expectations! WEEK 2 AVG TEMP: 72.6F WEEK 2 AVG HUMIDITY: 74.3%

This week, I gave my plants more fertilizer to test if they show any signs of burning. Now, I'm stressed out! I think I should give myself some seaweed to relieve the stress 😂 The girls show signs of calcium deficiency. I sprayed a small amount of calcium and magnesium on them to help them recover faster. I’m not sure why the new leaves are very pale. Could they be lacking iron? I think the high soil moisture might be causing issues with iron absorption, but I’m not completely sure. I’ll wait and see what happens this week. Considering that I use regular water, I expected them not to have a calcium deficiency.

Been feeding just water ready for the chop. Some of them have all brown pistils and have pretty much stopped all together. The kalimist indica pheno is still flowering so I'll let it go until it looks ripe 👍

Added a second scrog net for the taller plants last Friday. Constantly defoliating to increase light penetration but not trying to stress the plants. (Selective leaf picking) Plants loved the tea I have them last week. Visual improvements in every plant 2 days later. *********************************************************************************************************** START OF WEEK The Hawaiian Lion (right) and Tricho Jordan (left) are the two plants that dominate the face-on tent photos, and for good reason. Each of those plants is twice the mass of either Chimera. The HL is superior in bud sites, resin, and terp intensity, but the Tricho and the good Chimera #3 are both not too far off in resin production and aroma profiles. The weird runt is frosting up too, so we're looking at getting something unique and quality from each. That is, if I don't muck this up. I fed last night, and as part of that process, I mix my nutrients in a four gallon batch at a double(ish) strength. I then add that to my reservoir, which is shut off at that time. This allows me to work in the res, to both get the ppms right and the ph within range. I just use plain water to level off the ppms and then I adjust for ph. What I didn't do last night is TURN back on the flow of water from the reservoir. However, you wouldn't have guessed it from how the plants woke up today (see first image). I normally check the bases of each plant daily, and in doing so today, I noticed that one felt slight dry. All tanks were empty, but all plant bases were somewhere between wet to moist. This is how I spot check, and it's worked in the past. This isn't the first time these tanks have had a catastrophic issue leading to an unexpected no flow sitch. There's a filter that sits between the reservoir tank and the primary feed line. That has unexpectedly clogged on me in the past, but with no deleterious effect to the grow. That was caught within a day as well by testing the plant bases. I don't blame autopot for either event. Obviously, last night I was a baked potato and just forgot a step. The clog is because I use yucca in my mix, which is an organic material that over time in the reservoir leads to build up. I'm afraid to introduce hydrogen peroxide into the set-up, so I'm just maintaining my reservoir by cleaning it fully every other week for now. I don't want to kill off the bacteria in the environment. I'm also using some fungus, too, so I'd rather promote coexistence of a microbiome than serialize it, especially considering the plants seem to be on pace. **************************************************************************************************************************************************************** END OF WEEK Shit! I've got a herm. I've found four nanner clusters this week, all on the lower third-ish of the Hawaiian Lion. Someone, thankfully, spotted it in the purple flower pics. Turns out, while super fun to look at, those sweet violet flowers turned into harbingers of mother fucking doooooommm. I've never seen this before. I guess I've been fortunate, but I've also never had a camera this capable before either. I had no idea how small these pee pee's were. I guess I was expecting girth, but shame on me for not knowing. I rapidly learned as much as I could over the last two days, and I've come to the conclusion that I may or may not be screwed. The consensus on my situation ranges from either burn my tent down to thank ja for the blessings of feminized seeds. We're riding this baby out. I think I have fifteen to twenty days left and I think these little nanners might have been in action for ten days, hopefully less. I don't know what kind of damage will be done in that time, but honestly, I'm not too worried. While disappointing, my use case is a personal supply of bubble hash and flower rosin. If it's seedy, I'll wash most of it. I don't know what caused it, but I'm thinking a light leak or genetics. The environment is dialed and that plant hasn't shown one sign of anything less than vigor throughout. The spots that developed the purple flowers (lower bottom half to bottom quarter) are all in the vicinity of where I found the herms (four locations) and these locations are close to the edge of the tent along the zipper. I'm vigilant about keeping my tent and grow space in order, but a light leak can't be ruled out. I'll have to test that after the harvest. The herm flowers are minuscule and I'm surprised I found them. The camera was a great tool in this case. I sprayed the areas that I removed the nanners and then dried it, but for what it's worth, I think the damage was already done. That water bit felt more like ritual, but I'm still feeling optimistic that I'm not totally hosed.

I apologize for the video quality. I have been super busy, but still wanted to make something nice for y'all! Day 56: Gave the girls another plain watering pH adjusted to 6.5 then added Mammoth P @ 67°F. Not fading as quickly as I'd thought they would. Chopped the Triple Cheese today and moved our Gelat.O.G. into the open spot in flower. Breeder specs show 50-56 day Bloom an I think last run she may have went too long. Plan to be in the garden 8/5 (Day 58) and hoping to see some more fading and swelling going on. The aromas on the tent are absolutely tantalizing. I will try to get a few more photos for ya'll. Day 58: Did some minor defoliation in the veg tent and took photos. I decided today I would upload unfiltered and unedited photos. Enjoy! Day 61 of 12/12: I noticed seeds in the Skunk #1.😭😭😭 Possibly other plants too, but I was mostly on the lookout for the flowers to tonight. I noticed a single banana popping out of Purple Queen. I decided to harvest all but the Strawberry Amnesia and the Blueberry. I will get pictures soon and update with harvest deets. I need to take a closer look to see what plants may have been pollenated and if there are any other nanners. I did have a timer fail (which has been replaced) at the end if week 1 of flower. Not sure if this could be the cause, if I let her go too long, or if it's just the genetics. I am hoping for minimal damage. I'd be interested in a Purple Queen x Chenobyl cross. Think the seeds would be prone to hermies or would ya'll toss the beans in the bin?

This last week shit got really frosty !! The monkey berries is wicked the terps are creamy sour milk and cherry halls mmmmmmm I’m thinking about 7 to 10 days more then start flushing the monkey berries . Slurricane is putting on the weight like there’s no tomorrow and frosty too with 4 weeks to go she will be my best run by far, terps grapefruit and sweet skunk

Welcome growfessors to the harvest of Green Crack! This strain has been a pleasure to grow, very hearty strain, small and compact during veg then a nice stretch in bloom. Sticky dense buds, strong fuel smell with an underlying sweet aroma. Will update in 2 weeks with the initial smoke report and dry weight. Update April 30 - dry weight of 155 grams. Buds are big but not as dense as the LSD buds. Initial smoke report, earthy tones with a bit of fuel.

Sensi seeds Jack Herer 10 weeks of veg completed 11th Feb 2020 Hopefully this will be the last week of vegetation and this girl starts to flower because I have ran out of room to train her . I managed to get her to cover the entire circumfrence of the pot and then some, using a combination of LST and HST . I also did the last topping about 10 days ago and won't be doing any more. The soil must still be very fertile as the plant itself looks really healthy and lush. Only water was given as I still haven't got around to extracting some worm castings from the worm farm. But it'll happen and when it does this girl will get half a kilos worth which I am sure she will appreciate. Also apart from the odd bite mark on a leaf the plant has remained pretty much insect free as far as pest insects are concerned. I put this down to the Companion Coriander plant that has been coexisting beside my Jack herer girl right from the start . Apparently most bugs dislike coriander and will purposely avoid it which is a win win for both plants. 2nd week of flowering and she is stretching for sure. Officially the tallest auto i've ever grown at 29" tall at day 43. New time lapse (first half is MDXXL) Day 43- No watering. Light defoliation and LST Day 44- Flush with Bush doctor Day 45-46- no water Day 47- Mammoth P/ Recharge/ Cal-Mag water @ 6.3ph and bloom khaos foliar feed @ 6.2ph Day 48-49 no watering

Day 43 : Watering with co2 tab / 5L. Also added food again because i think they need it. Increased ppm to 850. Maybe the next one will be pure water. Ventilation works all the time when lights are on. Temp and humi are stable and this is good for the girls. 5 cm in 3 days. Patience is the key always. Also removed some burned leaves from all ladies. Edit (Day 47) : Watering with co2 tab every 5L. I watered with juices again at 850ppm because i felt that they need it. Only DsD drank pure water because of burns. Also 4cm in 4 days. She will be low yielder with good stuff. It smells sickkkk.
