Week 5 The plants are exploding! Its just one week to the last update. The Durban Poison are the 4 plants on the top right. The whole bunch of them are very happy with the soil mixture and all the fertilizer I added. and i think the mycrorhizae from the forest-soil connected already to the plant roots, which is fckn good news! All plants are looking super healthy! And more good news 3 out of the 4 plants are females. The test results from the lab came yesterday 💪 And apperently the seed sexing method worked quite well for 3 out of 4, very crazy! One seed that i idnetified as male turned out to be female. Only 2 more weeks and then these beauties will go outside! I m getting so excited! Next update in 2 weeks! I cant wait hahaha 💪💪🎉

So the bud pretty much matched the size of the pot! Super tiny grow at 80ml of soil! Pretty frosty and dense considering the size of the pot! Smells like lemon too! Just chopped her down and will have a harvest report on my assuming 4 grams of dried bud! Fun tiny grow! ✌️💚🌿💨

The autopots did their thing at about .6g a day. I did battle multiple hot days in the garage. We’re running just under 1000ppm with no issues. I ran out of bloom and used some powdered kool bloom and it worked well. Thinking of switching to jacks RO but it’s working so good now I don’t want to switch. This weeks accomplishments: install two more autopots - for the gelatos. I put the gelatos in fabric autopots, one 5g xl and one 15g xxl. Scrogging the gelatos to flatten the canpoy Long term issues Cooling and VPD targets during heat waves Preventing pest and mold issues - my humidity crept up high when I was gone and I saw a few powder leaves which were promptly removed upon my return. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. Second extensive flushing w/fresh rain water due to acidic conditions (ph >5). Been struggling with ph the entire flowering. I speculate ph issues due to over feeding. Ph is roughly 5.8 to 6.0 after flushing. At this point, flushing with plain RO water until harvest. NOTE 2: I've introduced two 5 gallon bubble buckets into the 2x4 grow tent. Both buckets have medium air stones running from a 125 gph air pump. Given French Macaron isn't scheduled for harvest until mid-January, I might not have cutting ready. First grow may have to be from seed. Update later. 3x3 Afgooey Autos and clones from previous grow - Afgooey #1 and #2 are firing on all cylinders. #2 running a bit acidic (>5), so flushed back to neutral with roughly 7-8 gallons of fresh rain water ph at 7.0 to 7.2. Same with clones (i.e., ph very low). Flushed with fresh rain water too. A couple days later plants look so much better. Wait till plants nearly dry before next watering. Trimmed and cleaned up three of the clones growing weird. Felt a bit like trimming a bonzai tree. Let's see how they respond.

Finishing her stretch had a ph problem so had to flush .....

Sep 27: lower buds are maturing nicely withh no further signs of bud rot. Sep 29: buds look great, and lots of them still ripening. Oct 2: lower buds look good and there are still lots of them. Despite losing all 16 tops to bud rot from a single cool humid night, causing a loss of about 300 g dried bud equivalent, this plant will still yield hundreds of grams of high quality buds. Manifolding and scrog nets really pay off at this stage. Easy harvest of nice uniform buds should make all growers happy.

We can observe on some leaf tips a beginning of over-fattening, this is what I'm talking about above, I'll let you know next week if I lower the ec or if I keep 1.5. I did one last defoliation and it was needed! If you look at my vitals, it's not crazy, 70% humidity at this time of the year can become problematic, so I'm going to take the dehumidifier out and set myself at 55%.
