2nd week just water again no nutrients or supplements. I moved her from the back to the front of my tent so she’s getting more light.. send to have not made a difference so I’m going to move her back and let the younger week 5 & 8 plants get priority. Any advice appreciated but I think “just wait and be patient” applies.

This week was also uneventful, growth has been slow and I'd say its half my fault with PH issues and over feeding which I'm correcting moving forward; and two unstable genetics. I dont have much info on growth patterns for this strain but its supposed to look a beautiful dark purple so I'm gonna breed a male and female hopefully. I'm also looking forward to the fourth phenos straits, I kind of hope its different just to have fourth completely unique phenos.

Love this plant! So it’s a generic Slurricane cross abs she is getting frosty and tall! The two topped branches were stunted and the 2 outside are huge! Just giving her my normal feed schedule now with a weekly tea. Love this! ✌️🏻💚🌿💨

Woche über haben sich die Blüten weiter entwickelt. Die Trichome wurden mehr und man fängt an erste Terpene zu riechen. Wir haben Donnerstag (BT 2) stark entlaubt und schauen jetzt wie die Pflanzen wachsen. Papaya entwickelt die dicksten Buds bisher und allgemein ist sie der OG G.O.A.T

So far I've done some LST to get some underbranching to shoot up and grow. Seems to be working. They've got some light feedings of Liquid Seaweed, Molasses, and URB. I've learned you have to feed light on this girl.

I removed the LST ties about 6weeks in and added Bloom when she was showing pre flowers although it states in the nutrient list I was adding both bloom basic and biobizz bloom I actually cut out the biobizz at week 9 and replaced it with Atami bloombastic.

Smooth sailing on this batch deep into flower! Were sitting at 85 days today and they are looking fantastic! Steady feeding flora bloom and flora micro. Also giving them 5ml/gal of advanced big bud. These ladies are FROSTY! Cannot wait till these ladies wrap it up! These hubbas are DRIPPING! Literally some of the most sticky bud i have ever seen. Love them! My first go with mephisto and won't be my last!

Every 5± days from week 5 I suppose I get rid of below leaves and big fan leaves,which don't let the light get to the bottom buds,as was recommended in comments. They react good on that kind of stress and the bottom buds started developing too. Despite the high temperature( 28-30 degrees) they keep on growing and forming buds,happily.

Got environment mostly dialed in thanks to an additional cool air intake fan, can get 450w mh nice and close for good penetration. Beginning the process of Lst, I’ve wrapped some plant straps around the base of each plant to anchor them, and straps at the top of their stems, giving them a slight bend. I’ll slowly increase the bend over time in order to avoid possible damage. The Gelato OG seems quite vigorous compared to the Widow so far. Starting to bump up nutes, runoff @400ppm -10/28

It gives me confidence in knowing that I am working with great genetics before I even start my grow. ---------------------------- Germination Start and incubation period 3/12/24 to 3/26/24 Transfer Day to Veg Day 6 3/27 to 4/2 Germination: First note was about the appearance of the seeds. They were smaller than I am used to seeing, but no damage or deformities and look to be in good shape. Germination took 14 days from dropping in water to transplanting into 1 gallon pots. 23hours in a glass of 6.3ph room temp RO water. 2 cracked open a little and I placed them both in paper towels wet with the glass water and pasted to the sides of the glass for 2 days then checked, no progress. So I freshened the water then waited another 2 days and checked, little to no progress. Then checked again 1 day later and finally was able to move them. One looked fully ready and the other seemed less ready. I placed in rapid rooter pods and closed with toothpick tips. 1 popped out of the pods in 1 day but the other did not. So I gave it 1 more day and started my spare seed. After 4 days of water and towels I replaced the dead pod with a growing sprout. Transplant occurred on 3/27 Veg Day 0 to 6 1gal hard tall pots. Transplant went well. The sprouts are smaller than I would like and seem to be stubborn in growth to start but hoping htat changes with soil. One pod was overgrown in the pods and Im hoping it doesn't reflect in the overall plant production. Video: Transplant ease. Transplant to 1 gal pots: I am using a 50/50, 50%perlite/50%soil with a .5lb of dolomite lime and a .5ml of flora micro added to .5 gallon of RO water (Im mixing 2 gallons of soil total so the water to soil ratio is 1/4 of the total medium volume) to achieve a soil tested ph of 6.4. I am using a 50/50 soil/perlite mix because I plan to use these in auto pots. I also used about 1 cup of the same soil mix water to pour around the plant after transplant; you can see how the perlite rises to the top where I did this. I sprayed two domes and covered - I plan to leave covered for the first week. Feed: I kept them under the domes and sprayed every day that I didnt feed them, to keep humidity up while I let them find water in the soil. By the end of the week I took the domes off and took pictures. Feed this week was another 1 cup of 6.3ph water 5 days after transplant. Feed plan next week will increase the amount to 2 cups of plain-no-nute water with about 4 days between feeds. I want to see the water run through so if I need to use more than 2 cups I will. The idea is to water deep and through, but then make them search for more before the next feed, hopefully spreading the roots out while doing it. Veg Plan: I plan on 8 colas for each plant. So that will be 3 topping days and a total of 7 cuts. I will want to cut the first time on day 21 if I have 5+ nodes. I will transfer to 5 gallon auto pots with-in 1 week of the first topping. Once I have 3 nodes of new growth past the first topping, I will top those two branches to the first node again. (that's 3 cuts total by this point) Then, after 3 new nodes of growth after that, I will do a last topping on the 4 branches. (4 new cuts added to make a total of 7 cuts and 8 colas) I will train the branches using LST/HST with tie downs as soon as I can after the first topping day to help maintain the branches growing where I want them to. I will also introduce an adjustable tomato ring after they have settled into the 5 gallon forever pots to provide support and mobility Hopefully all goes well, and I will have 1 to 2 weeks of growth before flip after week 8. I think it sounds more ambitious than it really is, but if you follow this journal, we will see together.

🗓️ WEEK 2 / DAYS 8-14 (flo) 💧 To tackle this week, I've increased the EC to 1.8, PH is nicely oscillating between 5.9 and 6.1. Her thirst is definitely increasing, as she's now drinking about 2.5 LT/day. 🌱 As early as day 10 of flowering she was already clearly showing preflowers – much earlier than any other photoperiod strains I've grown before, I'm really impressed! The plant seems to have undergone a complete metamorphosis and has become absolutely beautiful; you can really see it in the video I took on day 14 flo. Around mid-week, I did another round of defoliation – nothing too extreme, but it was necessary to improve air circulation and expose more of those preflower sites to the light. In terms of stretching, she shot up from 29 cm to 42 cm this week!

Week 3 the ladies had an exceptional growth spurt. The nodes on each lady are starting to become more defined with every passing day. I kept the feeding relatively the same however towards the end of week 3 I slightly increased the big to 1.5 tsp per gallon and the grow big to 1 tsp per gallon. I wanted to keep it simple with feedings until they get another week of growth than I’ll incorporate the tiger bloom in a small dose and also start some LST. Today is the final day of week 3 so I decided to Carefully top the girls. I didn’t completely take the top off cause I didn’t want to completely stress them out. I think they should be fine considering I waited day 19-20 to do it. The bigger girl(#1) of the 2 is really starting to spread out. Her leafs are touching the top of the pot. The smaller girl is not to far behind her. I’m curious to see once they start to go Into flower if this size difference will stay the same or change. There isn’t any smells coming from these girls yet but I did a gentle stem rub and I’m getting a tropical musty citrus smell 🍍🔥😍. I have to admit it has been such a pleasure to finally get to experience fast bud genetics. The last time I got a chance to experience a Pineapple Express high was in 2008. Jinak se mi to líbí.. pěkně to prorůstá do tvrdých palic Teď už jen na začátku týdne začnu dávat Winter Frost na pět dní a potom jen voda..

Flowering day 22 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) Another great week that is over. They all develop exactly as it should be 💚. Since the last leaf and substrate application against tripse, I finally haven't seen any of the little biters 👍. Watering was done twice this week with 1.3 l each time (see table above for nutrients). The lowest shoots were removed so that the energy is not wasted in the lower part :-) . Otherwise, as always, everything was cleaned and checked. Fresh osmosis water was filled with stale tap water in a 100 L tank for the coming week 👍. One was more bushy and was a little behind. As I said, they had some heat stress and I think the 15-liter pots are too small when the environment is hotter. Still, they are totally worth growing and joy to smoke. They don't need much curing and the weed is very very strong. Going to try this strain again very soon!!
