Tag 40: Ich gebe zusätzlich Alg a mic in das Gießwasser zur Stressbehandlung. Tag 46: Ich habe mich entschlossen diesen Grow abzubrechen. Seit kurzem werden die Blätter hell und fühlen sich trocken an. Ich vermute es liegt daran das ich einmal ein großen Schluck zu hartes Wasser genommen habe. Ich hatte einmal zuwenig Gießwasser vorbereitet (PH wert eingestellt 6,3) und es lief unten nicht raus so nahm unvorbereitetes (PH wert 7 etwa) Wasser zum Schluss, zunächst wuchs die Pflanze normal weiter, doch nach 1-2 Wochen stagniert das Wachstum die Blätter sind hell und trocken, auch die neuen Triebe sehen nicht gut aus.

This week the Blackberry shows a solid progression into the late flowering stage. Buds are already dense with a nice resin coverage and the aroma is becoming more intense. From now on I’m stopping Big Bud and switching to Overdrive for the next two weeks. The reason for this is that Big Bud is mainly focused on building bud size and structure during mid-flower, while Overdrive is formulated for the final phase, helping the plant push out extra weight, density, resin and terpenes before the flush. This way the Blackberry can fully focus on ripening and maximizing quality in the last stretch.

Such Bittersweet Joy Added this week as ‘Flowering’ although technically should be harvested as I but I haven’t had a chance to weigh or anything. I will do that next week once trimmed etc. So finally cut them down on D89, it was a beautiful day outside and it just felt right. Although when it came to the deed itself I felt sadder than I thought I would for my girls and the time we had together. All 6 (I’m growing another 3 different strains but not included on this diary) are now hanging to dry in the tent. Temp -18 C; Humidity-60% seems to be holding steady with no tinkering thankfully. After the 3 days they have all dried noticeably, perhaps 4/5 more before trimming / curing. I’ve had quite a close look at most of the harvest and as far as this noob can tell, there doesn’t seem to be any issues with mould / bud rot. Fingers remain crossed. I did have one very profound moment this week... It happened as I was surveying the harvest hanging up for the first time. I could feel my mindset change suddenly from the constant paranoia over their health and overcoming my impatience to “I actually have a crap load of weed”. It was beautiful beautiful moment... D64: Well, as I mentioned in yesterday´s report, she has some kind of deficiency I cannot tell why, so I presume it is salt buildup - which I can see from outside the pot a little more than usual - from the heavy feeding. So in that regard I flushed her and watered until it runs with 6.2 pH water. Did a little defoliation for the last time, from now on she won´t be getting anymore training nor defoliation. I expected her to be a little bigger by now but at least the seems like a fast runner and will probably finish on the estimated time by RQS of 10-11 weeks. D65: The deficiency don´t seem to have evolved. From day to night she developed some nice purple on the leaves! D66: The defiency seems to have stopped and she has a lot of dying leaves, I think it´s natural and not related to the deficiency. D69: She is getting ready.. the thricomes are looking overall about 60-70% cloudy with some clear and amber, some more days, maybe a week and she´s done. D70: Well, last day of the week and unfortunately last day of the life of this beautiful girl. I guess she had 1 or 2 more weeks still but today I woke up and she had mold – Botrytis -. It was on the low buds, closer to the ground even tho I didn´t even water, but the problem I found out later what it was: 88% humidity during the night. Now, I trimmed her all and put to dry, which will be a problem since the humidity outside is 90% and it doesn´t stop raining in this time of the year. Week 9: Growth, Clones, and Preparing for Buds This week brought some important changes to the grow! The plants stretched significantly, taking advantage of the rainy weather, despite the temperature fluctuations. Overall, the conditions are supporting their development well. Notes: I made a few more clones, and so far, all of them are thriving. It's exciting to see a 100% survival rate for the clones so far. Out of the 12 plants, I identified three males. Two of them have started opening their pollen sacs, and I’ve begun collecting. The pollen is being stored in the freezer for future breeding projects. I did a light defoliation to improve light penetration to the lower branches, which should help promote even growth.

my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are one of the hardest as fucking rocks type of buds! very dense , compact , sticky , smelly , amazing at every aspect growing stage was 56 days and flowering stage was 75 days total (harvested tops at day 64th) the total weight of dry buds was : (plant #1 & #3 top buds 56 G + lower buds 22 G ) 78 G + (plant #2 top buds 47 G + lower buds 18 G ) 55 G + (plant #4 top buds 120 G + lower buds 67 G ) 187 G = 367 G
