This was another hot, hot week with a big rainstorm. Take a look at the measuring cup, it is full of rainwater. Dosidos continues to smell and is very sticky. It is a tall with stacked buds. I am interested to see how big the buds will be. Half way through this grow, I had to stop using Miracle Grow and change my grow plan. I decide to use Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice for the rest of the grow. Jungle Juice’s selling point is that it is the only nutrient that I should need during the entire grow. One just need to make the solution stronger as the plant matures. The directions say to “stir vigorously” and that is true. It is very clumpy and I had to stir and shake the bottle a lot. As your plant is in veg and growing larger, directions say to up your Jungle Juice to 4 ml per liter. If my calculations are correct, I am using approx. 5 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket. 1 gal is 3.78 liters 5 gallons=18.92 liters 4ml jungle juice per liter x 18.92 liters= 75.7 ml which is = to 5.119 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket of water As the end of the summer is quickly approaching, I have spent some time reflecting this week on all of the contests that I have entered and not won this summer. It can be a little frustrating because of all the time I have spent taking pictures and writing commentary. But, instead of it getting me down, I have to think about all of the positive take aways and I want to share them on this platform. I have read a lot of diaries and now know why I am just an apprentice. I have a lot to learn from all of you. There are some really good growers with a lot of experience and crazy grow techniques. So much knowledge is on this platform-it’s mind boggling. To be a great grower, you must be willing to be vulnerable and put yourself out there and try different suggestions and new techniques. I have made a few friend that I enjoy chatting with. I enjoy reading comments versus just seeing likes. My best friend on grow diaries is @Natrona and my neighbor as well. She has been growing longer than I have been so I routinely learn from her. This summer I learned to mix 1 cup of Perlite into my soil. I can see where my plants need the air flow. And, I now I only defoliate fan leaves that absolutely need to be gone. I let the fan leaves stay on until they fall off. I want my buds to pull all the nutrients they can out of the fan leaves. I also bought 2 new tools that @natrona suggested. The first was a water PH tester and the second was my Max-ee Magnifier which is informative and fun to use. so far I'm only feeding them with destilated water day4: unfortunately the 4th seed grew the other way around I carefully moved it over without touching it directly day5: 24hours later it looks a little sad but I think it will get over it. the other 3 are perfectly fine and achieved a height of 7cm so far I'm watering every 2 days approximately 200ml desolated water day6: on day 2 after operation the 4th one is growing and starting to look healthy , them step is even thicker than the other 3 had at that height I think. gonna leave the cup on it of another day probably and depending on how it looks tomorrow I will take it off day7: Plants looking healthy so far, 4th one is recovering nicely day8: The 3 are growing healthy and number 2 and 3 are already showing their second pair of leaves and I think it's safe to say number 4 recovered and is now back on track:) day9: Today I put 400ml of water on the three bigger ones but on the outer area to water the soil overall without pouring 400ml directly on the Plant, number 4 is getting on track and is growing nicely after the beginning problems she had. day10: I was a bit worried since number 2 rolled their first 2 Leaves a little bit but I was told they will drop of anyway and not tot worry about them too much. besides that they are all growing nicely. day11: Last day of week 1 and so far everything is going very well.

Day 70: Brain Cake seemed thirsty and wanting more nutrients: Topped off water yesterday, added +3ml of hyro A&B and +1ml of power roots & pure enzyme. EC went from 0.8 -> 1.0 Day 71: Brain Cake is showing symptoms, many top leaves have deformed tips and light interveinal chlorosis starting on opposite end of the tip and dark interveinal chlorosis at the end of the tip. EC is 0.8-0.9 (not very accurate meter :/ ) Not sure whether this is a nutrient deficiency or excess/lockout. The ph has been between 5.6 and 6.5 most of the time the past week, the reservoir change was 4-5 days ago. Plagron indicates to give more hydo A&B in proportion to their roots and enzyme nutrients in the first weeks of flowering (during veg these are given in proportion), so maybe these new problems are due to the different balance of nutrients that I may have times wrongly. Finally the problems may be due to the water reservoirs holding approx 12 liters in practice and the Brain Cake drinks approx 2-3.5L a day so maybe the water res is very unstable but after a day the PH usually remains in range and the EC usually drops a bit the first day after adding nutrients and stays pretty stable the rest of the week. Any suggestions are more than welcome! Day 72: Yesterday evening made an upgraded reservoir for the Brain Cake dwc (as we suspect the leaf problems may be due to instable water because of small res and roots nearly completely filling the res). Now the Brain Cake is in a 60L box with approx 32L of water, EC set to 1.0 and ph 5.7-6.5. She seems to be happy, nice and perky this morning. FYI the roots seem more orange in the video! They are on the white side though, just a bit of stain from the nutrients but looking very good overall.

Last week of flower, I flushed during the last 4 days, I didn't do big flushes I simply water the plants with plain water, last 3 days of complete darkness. I think that next time I will complete the flush and then give 3 days of complete darkness, the fact that the plant is not receiving light makes flushing harder because the plant drinks less water. During the last 3 days, the humidity was always greater than 50% but the plants didn't seem affected. Before I started the flush the pant was only receiving 8h of light. I'm currently drying the plants, the temperature fluctuates between 17 and 19 degrees, I start with 65% humidity and I reduce 1% of humidity every day. Entering the last 2 weeks of nutrients before flush. Still looking very healthy to me. Growth of buds look a bit slower now but other than that all good here! :) This pollen is getting me supeeer excited 😍 🖖🏽🖖🏽

Bud wet weight : 168,1g of trimmed medium to big sized buds 25,4g of tiny tiny buds/larfs = 193.5 grams of trimmed wet buds. Details on genetics and smoke report above. This, as my first grow, is way more than I ever expected it to be. I haven´t had that much fun and enthusiasm in a very very long time. I can´t even explain the feeling it is to harvest your own cannabis, but I know most of you know what I´m talking about haha. It was really nice to practice LST, even tho it was SO HARD, ´cause I didn´t had barely any space to work since I used a hard pot and did not fill nearly half the size of it and the walls of the pot were really high. It was even difficult to water without dropping water on the lower buds. I haven´t learnt much about defoliation tho, I feel I need to study a little more about the phases you should or should not do it. Also, I discovered thrips are a pain in the ass. I had 2 tough weeks dealing with thrips, but in the end it was alright. I don´t have any humidity control device, which I intend to buy for the next grows. Growdiaries was really helpful for me, it kept me motivated everyday (not that I wouldn´t have had it anyways), the Grow Questions are REALLY useful and all the community is awesome. Thanks to all people that helped me here on GD during this first grow! To conclude it: I am really happy and satisfied with how the grow turned out. They look incredible, it almost feels like I can´t believe it still. Peace. UPDATES: 07/10 : The buds are now dry and already in curing jars, one of them with a Boveda 58% humidity pack. The total grams of the dry buds are: 41.4g (medium to big sized buds) 4.1g (tiny buds) = 45.5 grams! I´m really happy with the results, I thought it would be around 30g so yeah, that´s a really good surprise! In 2 weeks I´ll be back to update the smoke report. Thanks so much for reading! Pollenated for three days, took a funny photo shoot of the donor plant and tossed it. Let the plants marinate for a day, gutted the bloom room, scrubbed every inch of it down and moved the photos over there to finish, they were getting to tall for my 4x4. Put the Auto ultimates in their new home and they seem to be loving the spider farmer. Woche 13-20/Blüte Woche 7 aktuell, Härchen zu 60% meinst überall braun und trichome brauchen aber noch um sich überall fertig zu bilden und dann noch milchig zu werden.

Cereal milk is my 2nd fav plant from this run it has great structure it is gonna be a tricomb beast! The plant has a really good gelato and “z” smell. This will be some great smoke in the end
