🌱 8×8 Adventure – Chem Brûlée (Plant B) | Week 4 A Different Sister, A Different Strategy Welcome back to another chapter of my 8×8 Adventure, a project dedicated to exploring how different genetics—and even different phenotypes from the same cultivar—express themselves when grown under identical conditions. Each plant receives the same environment, nutrition, lighting, and care, allowing their natural characteristics to shine without outside variables influencing the results. Today’s update focuses on Chem Brûlée – Plant B, and she’s already proving that even sisters can choose very different paths. While her sibling has been building a strong upright structure, this beautiful lady has embraced training remarkably well, opening herself into a wider, flatter canopy that promises excellent light distribution for the weeks ahead. Watching these individual personalities emerge is exactly why I love phenotype hunting. ⸻ 🌿 Life Inside the 8×8 Garden The entire room continues thriving under stable environmental conditions. Current room parameters: 🌡️ Temperature: 33.3°C 💧 Relative Humidity: 63% ⚡ Nutrient Solution EC: 1.36 mS/cm pH: 6.12 💦 Reservoir Temperature: 25.7°C Although temperatures remain on the warm side, constant air circulation keeps fresh air moving throughout the canopy, helping every cultivar continue vigorous growth while maintaining healthy transpiration. It’s always fascinating seeing twelve different cultivars respond to exactly the same environment, each revealing its own unique blueprint. ⸻ 💧 Feeding Program Chem Brûlée continues receiving the same nutrition as the rest of the 8×8 project. This week’s feeding includes: • Plagron Terra Grow • Plagron Power Roots • Plagron Pure Zym • Plagron Vita Race (foliar application) Everything appears perfectly balanced. Healthy green foliage, steady development, and vigorous new shoots suggest she’s making excellent use of every feeding. ⸻ 🌿 Growth & Development This phenotype has really begun showing her own identity. Instead of pushing strongly upward, she’s naturally spreading her energy across multiple growing tips, creating a much broader plant than her sister at the same stage. The most striking feature remains those gorgeous oversized fan leaves. They’re broad, healthy, beautifully coloured, and already acting like efficient solar panels, capturing every available photon while fueling explosive vegetative growth. The newest growth emerges vibrant lime green before gradually darkening as the leaves mature, a classic sign of healthy development. Every node appears active, with numerous secondary shoots beginning to accelerate now that the canopy has opened. She’s becoming increasingly bushy without ever looking crowded. The structure feels balanced, vigorous and full of potential. ⸻ ✂️ Low Stress Training This week the focus has been gentle Low Stress Training (LST). Rather than removing the main growing tip, the stem has been carefully bent and secured to encourage the plant to redistribute its growth hormones naturally. By lowering the dominant shoot, the plant begins directing energy into multiple side branches instead of concentrating everything into one central cola. The results are already becoming visible. Several new tops are racing upward together, creating a much flatter canopy that should make far better use of the available light during flowering. LST remains one of my favourite training techniques because it shapes the plant without slowing her down. Minimal stress. Maximum opportunity. Watching these secondary branches wake up over the coming weeks should be incredibly rewarding. ⸻ 🚀 Looking Ahead Chem Brûlée Plant B is setting herself up beautifully for the next stage of development. As the secondary branches continue catching up, the canopy should become increasingly even, giving every future flowering site access to strong light. The plan remains simple: Continue guiding the branches gently through LST. Allow the canopy to expand naturally. Maintain environmental stability. Then simply let the genetics do what they do best. Every day she’s becoming wider, fuller, and more balanced. ⸻ 💚 Final Thoughts One of the greatest lessons this project continues teaching is that no two plants—even sisters—tell exactly the same story. Chem Brûlée Plant B has embraced training with incredible enthusiasm. Her open structure… Those beautiful oversized fan leaves… The explosion of new growing tips… Everything points toward a plant that’s preparing to fill her space with an abundance of healthy flowering sites. She’s elegant. She’s vigorous. And she’s making every adjustment look effortless. Absolutely Love these genetics one of my favorite grows so far cannot wait till harvest. The smells are immaculate.🌿💨💯

I had to leave the garden unattended for 3 days and when I got back it was really a mess. The top had suprecroped on itself and it totally gave up on growing the main stem. Lots of side branching had to be tucked back in to the net before it became manageable again. Looks well and, besides the mess of branches, it looks like the supercrop didn't cripple her growth.

ॐ KING LOUIS GARCIA - Growers Choice 11L pots, 480W, Remo Nutrients "Bedroom setup" King Louis Garcia goes to Morocco :) EDIT: Contest is canceled so King Luis Garcia does not going anywhere and will stay at home hahaha 3rd week of vegetation from 16.3.2026. to 22.3.2026. This week was fun week, all girls are transplanted into 11L final pots, also topped same time, will go extra clean with this girls and will do 4 x 4 :) 4 main branches with 4 side branches. They took topping with no issue, and also i did LST just to spread those four branches :) Plants looking very healthy and kinda branchy hahah, but they are bushing out nicely. July 25: looking good. Recovering nicely from the hail damage two weeks ago, and now into the second week of force flowering. Looks good. July 26: watered with compost tea this morning. Plants missed heavy rain last night as they were in darkness in garage. July 29: top dressed with malted barley, soil, compost and a bit of gypsum, Epsom salts and dolomite for cal-mag sources. Malted barley is key flowering nutrient as it provides P, K and enzymes.

📆 Semana 9: Debido a las altas temperaturas, tuve que cosechar la Mimosa Auto cultivada en el sistema hidropónico, ya que no soportó el calor. Los cogollos quedaron densos y resinosos, con tonos anaranjados en los pistilos que indican su madurez. El perfil aromático se mantiene complejo, con notas cítricas y terrosas que prometen potencia y sabor. La otra Mimosa Auto sigue en su ciclo, creciendo fuerte en sustrato, donde el ambiente es más estable y controlado, lo que le permite continuar desarrollándose con buena salud. ¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte! 💪

Así están ahora mismo, he tenido bastantes problemas en este cultivo estoy deseando acabarlo y empezar uno nuevo, pero de los errores se aprende 💥🏌️‍♂️🧟‍♂️🧟‍♂️🍁🍁💚💚💚🤯🤦

Switched to 12/12. Struggling to keep ph runoff ideal. Increased nutrients as plants looked a little pale. EC looks good coming out. Plants look great. I don't have a reliable PAR meter. I'm 80% sure I'm somewhere between 600 and 650. Will defoliate when necessary from here on out. I'm hoping I get more stretch.

woche 4. die buds schwellen an...die pina colada und super boof haben die dicksten blüten mit intensivem geruch...die bakerman von dope seeds ist n Reinfall...die cinderella99 hat ein problem aber kp welches...hab mal etwas stärker gedüngt da in woche 4 die buds richtig anschwellen. ph bei 6.4 ca...ec 1.7...werde beim nächsten gießen den drain messen...ansonsten läufts ok..nicht der beste grow aber ganz so kacke sieht es nicht aus 😅 . bin kein mann der vielen worte , aber falls ihr fragen habt gebt bescheid ✌️

Pink Wafers! Day 16 Building up a nice root system at the minute and will start topping and Training over the next week or so. Had a bit of stretch but got that under control and will root pot very soon aswell ✌️🏻🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

With joy into the fourth week of flowering. I adjusted the composition of the watering according to the manufacturer's recommended dosage. They are full of life.

It's amazing how quickly the weather can change. Just a few weeks ago we were bundled up in our warmest coats, and now it's finally starting to feel like springtime. With temps in the 40s and 50s, it's the perfect time to get outside and enjoy the sunshine. My pound cake plant is finally getting somewhere. It's totally weird, because the stems turned this super cool purple color. Soon it's going to be covered in pound cake buds that'll be ready to eat. I'm thinking fancy frosting might be the way to go, but I'm also considering something fruity on top.

She stinks! 😍 Budding up real nice. Watered her with only bloom nutes now. Still the same ol' same ol' 6L 6PH, 5ml/L bloom, will introduce my last drops of green sensation probably next week 😌 Other than that, shes just doing her thing. a bit of defoliation along the way, thats about it. 👽

The first week of vegetative growth has passed, the seedlings are recovering from the shock of repotting and the growth has slowed down a bit, probably due to the growth of the root system in the new soil. In this second week I hope to get to the fifth node to start some lst. Irrigation / fertilization: I continue with the same light solution as last week with the addition of root stim 1ml / l to promote rooting. 0.1-2 l every 2-3 days. 20/01 150ml each plant of 8ml/l plant start 1ml/l root stim 1ml/l calmag pH 6,2 23/01 150ml each plant of 1ml/l calmag pH 6,0

Drunken Bitch Slap has gotten pretty big. She is bulking now under the Hortibloom Solux 350. Her colas are looking dense at the moment. Everything is looking strong are the moment. I may do a solution change tomorrow for last bit of bulking.
