we are entering the 6th week. slowly the little one is growing towards the sun. i did a first topping and started with LST. maybe it was too early with the topping? we will see. the sun is shining more again and the temperatures are slowly rising.

For our Zamnesia girls It's time to work some magic, since October 1st we are in flowering, the plants have vegetated for exactly 4 weeks, a single top was done on some, others are growing straight, some clones here and there still in veg. Week 6, day 43. Growth: The girls still grew a bit past week, #4 the biggest of them all is 71 cm. Buds started to develop on all 5 girls. I noticed a deficiency and took action but ill explain this down bellow:) Training: I did a selective defolation on all 5 girls. Maybe ill be picking off leaves that are in the way but there will be no more training. Im just going to let them do thier thing. Nutrients: 4 out of the 5 had little burned tips on the leaves because of overfeeding. Some of the plant's leaves are pretty dark so i think they did not like the feeding of 2.5ml Canna Terra Vega and 2.5ml Cannazym. Next feeding when the soil is day will be 2ml of Canna Terra Flores. Issues: I was hoping i was not going to need a "issues" section but im no pro so i expected some issues. So first issue was, Temp fluctuations: Its cold here and i have to set a timer on a 2000w heater battling the cold when the lights are off. I decided to run the tent 24/7 through flower to have a consistent temperature like our fellow grower Rudiak suggested. I added a new carbon filter and put a fan in the intake hole. now my temperature stays between 26 and 26.5 and humidity is also stable around 30 to 40%. This is my solution for this run but not a permanent solution. I think ill be removing the mars hydro 300 when setting up the new tent. It takes one heat source too many out the tent. i can cover the whole tent with the cob and reflector96. Nutrientburns, Nutrient lockout: Some of the girls look like they have a nitrogen toxicity and also some burned tips on the leaves so i skipped 2 feedings. I noticed i also had deficiencies, i suspected iron deficiency but i now think its nitrogen deficiency because the new growth is not effected. They got burned by the amount of nutrients they had last feeding so i assumed something wasnt right in the soil. I flushed the girls today with 24L per pot. with a ph of 6.6, the runoff was 5.9 and managed to get it to 6.4. Because of the big difference the ph in my soil mustve been really low causing the lockout. Lets hope everything will be ok after their first feeding after flush

Week 12 for Black Lebanon by SSSC She's really filling out nicely compared to last week I've had to bend some of the tops that were getting taller than the rest but nothing crazy. I went through a period of barely feeding her... well this week she's been fed 5-7L of water plus heavy heavy sprays every night😂 so a bit of a change up she doesn't seem phased either way. Currently having issues with crickets... keep eating my leaves not sure what to do about it if anyone can suggest anything? 😎

***** Week 12 growth - February 20 to 26, 2021 - Week 3 Flower ***** These girls have been happy all week and CL2 has looked happiest still. CL1 pheno came out of the gate stronger and taller from the beginning but I have been looking for a little more out of her so while I was giving GSC x 707Headband some fulvic acid in her feed I gave some to CL1 also. She has reacted well to it, or it certainly hasn’t brought about anything negative. Used Gold Storm at 5ml/L👍 CL2 is just freaking gorgeous and may be a keeper, in early growth anyways😃 Love her size, node spacing, leaf to calix ratio, thick branching, early trichome production......all on point so far🔥When I took a leaf the other day the underside vein appeared to be slightly starting a color change......should be some purple in there somewhere with that genealogy😍 Light is at 20” and pulling 480 watts at the end of the week. Stated off with 400 watts at the start of the week but keep pushing it up this week. I don’t want to break 1,000 to 1,100 PAR by very much as I am not supplementing with true CO2. I have an Exhale bag to raise it a couple hundred ppm. Feel the need to keep the intensity high for penetration lower in the canopy. Will lower the amount of time in daylight if stress gets too high. Push to 11/13???? Nutrients are following IPP HOG 3 Part pretty closely. Just playing with macro nutrient ratios but otherwise supplements are at full week dosages following week 3. Have been seeing great resin production last runs so staying with Rezin as part of their feed schedule in flower. Terpinator......I think I see a lot of sulfer benefit here so it stays in the grows as well. Recharge seems to be working out well but we did the change mid grow from Microbial Mass. Since in coco have to feed the microbes so they reproduce and really dig Nature’s Candy with Remos additives in there👍 To help keep the root zone clean we add Enzymes😃 I have been debating a lot lately about the addition of CalMag to these nutrient lines and it’s necessity but since in coco I keep adding some......noticed a couple of spots on MM2 so have added it back in a bit more this week. Feb 20/21 - Day 15 - Full feed today.....it’s been five days. - tap water with Silica @ 1.5ml, IPP line at full strength. - 1400ppm and 6.1pH - CL2 given 4L with good runoff. - CL1 was given some fulvic acid in Gold Storm. Help with giving her a chance to stretch a little more. Little more node spacing.....bushier girl. - 5ml/L added to feed for 1490ppm and 6.1pH. She was given 4L with good runoff. Feb 21/21 - Day16 - Dry out day Feb 22/21 - Day 17 - watering with supplements and light feed today. We are in mid flower now.....need to keep the macro nutrients up. - Epsom salts @ 1 Tbsp in 20L. Purple on stems is getting prominent......could be cold temps but also giving magnesium. - Terpinator @ 3ml, Rezin @ 1.5ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1ml, grow @ 1ml, micro @ 2ml, bloom @ 2.5ml, Recharge @ 1 Tbsp in 20L. - 1400ppm and 6.0pH. - 4L Feb 23/21 - Day 18 - keeping up the silica this watering - silica @ 1ml, CalMag @ 1ml, Ultimate B+ @ 1ml - 600ppm and 6.0pH - 3L Little to no runoff this watering. Feb 24/21 - Day 19 - full feed again today.....girls are big and growing hard......keep it going💪 - IPP line as listed for full line. - Terpinator @ 3ml, Rezin @ 1.5ml - 1425ppm and 6.0pH - they are taking the high ppm feeding well. Feb 25/21 - Day 20 - Had some feed water left from yesterday. Added plain tap water to get 20L. - 810ppm and 6.1pH - 1.5L......don’t want to over saturate the medium. Feb 26/21 - Day 21 - Nothing today. - Will feed early tomorrow as it’s Saturday. - Let the root zone get some oxygen is my thought and water to nice runoff first thing in morning. Week 3 behind us and going into 4.....middle of flower and girls are feeding hard. Pushing the lights hard now as well so need to keep the ppm up👍 Little more variety in these two phenos but certainly not negative differences. In the end I think CL1 might have bigger colas than CL2 because she is getting some wide/thick bud tops. So here’s Week 2 of the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Auto’s grow. All in all an easy week but there has been time spent reinforcing a couple of the seedlings because they are so top heavy. I check in on my seedlings at least once a day (oftentimes 2-3 times daily) just to make sure that all equipment is functioning well and temps are stable. Upon looking into the windows of the tent I discovered that the smallest seedling (the one that lost one of it’s cotyledon leaves) was tipped right over. I gently supported her with a homemade splint (a tent peg/pipe cleaner combo- pictured above) and she’s currently standing on her own again. She’s still smaller than the others but surviving, not thriving for now. I used some fresh additional soil to fill in any gaps and pack down around the bases of the other three plants’ stems. Speaking of stems/stalks- the three healthy seedlings have peeling/stretching stalks and are starting to push out their first sets of branches. Other than that, same routine as always- watering every fourth day at 1.4 litres per watering or 0.35 of a litre per plant per day. I will be increasing the water sometime over week three. That’s it for now. Mom’s Tip for Week #2- Don’t Over Water! (when growing in soil of course)… When learning to read your plant’s needs, water is a very important factor to consider. I often notice other growers with tiny seedlings sitting in completely saturated pots of soil. Or read that many other growers don’t believe in placing newly sprouted seedlings into their final containers/pots. Both issues being easily resolved by simply paying close attention to your plant’s body language, it’s grow environment and sticking to a schedule. Cannabis truly thrives and benefits from a wet to almost fully dry watering cycle. From my own personal experience with photosensitive strains grown outside in the summer to growing autoflowers indoors through the fall, winter and spring- all of my Cannabis seems to do best when watered every 4th day like clockwork! This schedule is somewhat subjective of course depending on the environment that you are growing in. Here in Canada, much of our year is cool to cold and the humidity is relatively low. Because of this my plants are not always able to take in moisture from the air through their stomas so they suck up more water from what’s readily available in their pots. In other environments (ex. tropical), you may be able to stretch out this cycle- watering every 5-7 days because your plants are pulling so much water directly from the humidity in the air. And how you water your plants matters too. When starting out with newly sprouted seedlings placed into their final containers- less is more. There is no need to completely soak all of the soil in a 5-7 gallon pot. Simply start with a small amount (0.5-1 litre) directing the water to the base of the plant, working your way outwards in a circular pattern. As you increase the amount of water, I try to work my water outwards- making my circle slightly bigger each time I water until eventually I am soaking the soil surface all the way out to the edges of the pot. This process is gradual, stretched over a period of 4-6 weeks. It will encourage the roots to reach for water and allow your plants the time needed to grow into a heavy dose of H2O. Finally, learning to read your plant’s body language will help you to understand when they need and don’t need water as well as food, more/less light, temperature changes, etc. Healthy, well watered plants are generally light green with leaves slightly turned up towards the light/sun. They will be growing/thickening every day and able to support their own weight even in a very breezy environment. Leaves are soft and supple, not dry and brittle and there are usually no marks or discolouration of any kind on the foliage throughout your grow. Water quality is important too but that’s any entirely different tutorial for another time. Bountiful harvests are very possible by simply tweaking your watering schedule to suit your plants’ ultimate needs.

the waterworks come covered in some olie residue and i only did a few rinses. I think it kept the ph high for some time and i did a few more water cycles after complete setup. Everytime getting rit of more oil film. I like the bucketd rinsed the leca pepples in high ph tap water and again it took me some time to get ph down but this time no oil residue :) After a few days i felt i got ph under control so started the canna nutes schedule.

Watering with approximately 1 liter every 1.5 to 2 days. October 8, 2019: Day 23 - Defoliated 3 leaves and applied LST. Oct 14, 2019: Day 28 - Noticed the start of preflower stage. Frequent LST and defoliation this week

Black Strap and Peach Crescendo getting close. I see they will get cut way before the Fat Bastard. Fat Bastard must have a long flowering period. But branch structure is thick. Sigh. 😊 Drying in cardboard boxes now, I usually hang two branches in a box, with air holes. And I have one box with a net chucked inside, for the smaller parts. No popcorn with the Caramelo. 😋 Took me half an hour to trim her. After 5 days, I will put the nuggets in a jar to check the remaining humidity. I will leave the jar closed for 12h and then check. If the humidity has risen above 70%, the nugs will be put in a salad bowl to dry over night. If it's below 70% I will leave them in the jar and open it once in a while.. trying to keep humidity above 60% and below 70% for 2 weeks. 😎 Thank you so much for your company, friends!!
