Day 36 Grow Diary Entry – Day 36 (Flower Day 16) Strain: Sour Frootz by Karma Genetics Plants: 4 clones Training: HST + SCROG Today is Flowering Day 16, and the Sour Frootz ladies are officially deep into the early-to-mid bloom stage. Bud sites are now well-defined, and the pistils are stacking up nicely. The stretch phase has slowed down slightly, giving a good window for structural management. To keep the canopy even and under control, I applied high-stress training (HST) by bending and tucking the taller tops through the SCROG net. I also reduced overall plant height by about 25 cm, evening out the top layer across all four plants. This should help maximize light penetration and bud development across the entire canopy. The plants handled the stress well—no signs of wilting or shock so far. With this structure locked in, the SCROG net is now fully supporting the horizontal spread, allowing more light to reach secondary bud sites. The aroma is intensifying slightly, a sweet, fruity tang starting to build up when brushing against the leaves. Everything is on track. 5/29 plants are healthy. 6/2 they've definitely been stretching this week. Pistils have shown and the calyx of plant #2 are already showing definite purple. Its obvious even with how little of it showing. #2 was the first to show sex and progression of transitioning. Plant #1 has shown sex but only on half of her node? Plant #3 is still the tallest, with the most stretching happening. She's a lighter green than the rest and she hasn't quit shown a full pistil yet

But didn't effect. Just taped the bih right up lol. Cane back the next day, they were praying to the light! These girls are resilient 😌

Hey here we go again.. in the pics I explained how to clean the lava rocks but to make it easier I will put them here. LAVA ROCK CLEANING. 1... fill sink with hot water and about a half bottle of hydrogen peroxide . 2 ...dump rocks into sink 3....shake out rocks from roots...I suggest you do this in another sink then add lava rock to other sink..it keeps from adding to many roots to water sink. 4....skim off all roots from top of water...now while the lava rocks sit in the water..clean the buckets. 5...take fitting from buckets and add to a cup filled with hydrogen peroxide let sit 6...clean buckets with hot water and hydrogen peroxide....dry bucket 7...take fittings out of cup clean off and clean inside fittings..then wash off and put back into buckets. 8... use a colander and add lava rock to it and run hot water over the lava rock as you move them around...then add warm..then cold water this will help make the roots brittle and easy to remove...shake off all water. 9...put rocks back into buckets 10 ...set room back up with all new lines... Actually, I seriously considered continuing this grow with this specific genetic strain. Does it even make sense to keep "Rihanna" going? 👀🤷🏻‍♂️ But she fights every single day—who am I to decide that her life should end?! I’m going to keep growing her, and I intend to disprove the breeder’s claim. They suggested that Rihanna entered the flowering stage prematurely—and looks the way she does now—because of the 16/8 light cycle I’ve used since day one. I’m going to show that she can still develop into a perfectly normal lady, hopefully with some amazing terps! 🤭😉 Here is her progress in week 2; even if there hasn’t been a massive amount of change over these 7 days, at least something is happening. This is the first week of flower for Juana, today 01/11 is the first day she is in 12/12 schedule. I will be doing the same top dress for her. They are ragging and showing some good health as well. Maria is behind them in growth but that's ok, i feel i'm running out of space right know. Last week I accidentally broke one Maria's cola :(, poor girl. I was doing some lst and the stem was really tough. I should've been more carefull, my fault.

Flushing with 2 teaspoons per gallon of unsulfured blackstrap molasses 1 gallon total added to the reservoir. - Peanut Butter Cookies is in the front right corner I hope to harvest her in about 10 to 14 days. Week 3 has come and gone and it was a sight to see!! All the pistills came in nice and strong. I have to get in there and defoliate every couple a days a bit. This will be the last week of defoliation. Once I can see the main bud sights I will do my final trim. Started reducing the Nitrogen as the stretch faze comes to an end and up the bloom ferts. I cant raise my light much more so I hope they stop stretching this week. Im excited to see the flowers grow into these pistills and watcch the calayx swell.
