I see a tiny bit of yellowing at edges, nothing serious. I don't have to feed every 2 days now anyways its slowed to 3.
I top off the ones near turgor pressure loss levels ( I check my whole hand down side of pot for moisture now) with tap water when needed today.
Tomorrow will be feeding ~1000ppm most likely due to using Diamond Nectar chelating nutrients with large amounts of blackstrap molasses when combined and left in the reservoir before use. This seems to drop the detectable ppm even though it retains a high level of nutrient content... with Cal/mag (1-0-0) and KoolBloom Powder which is like a 0-30-40 its wildly powerful.
Back right Tropicanna smells like Pineapple Sour Patch Kids without the sour. Its insane. I wish I had smell o' vision for you folks right now.
Wedding Cake is like sugary sweet but weed esque... earthy esque type of thing. Not the Tropicanna... Shits fruity like kool-aid.
Nugs are getting humongous and its pretty fun to watch it fill in, I had a low level anxiety of it never "Filling" in... but yea it's day 45 and look at Big Bertha... nearly dwarfing my fat ass arm... wild shit.
Feel like these ladies have at least another 14~ days on the lower end. Wedding Cake should finish a week after Tropicanna... Trying to grab Wedding Cake "indica" tendencies and max them by going for 40-50% amber, 60-50% cloudy trichomes with under 2% (like literally 1-3 clear per 60X magnifying pic) clear trichomes. Tropicanna only 20% ish amber until clear is only about 20% of trichome and cloudy makes up roughly 60% of total trichome finishing...

Easy day
Fed 1050ppm @ 6.4ph 13 Liters only. I want the root zones to dry out more and quicker, less chance of mold and other root rot issues. Cutting watering/feeding in half now but will be feeding prob twice as much.
Buds are fattening FAST and are turning purple.
Looks like I got the purple pheno Wedding Cake. Woot.

*** HEIGHT CHANGE EXPLAINED! ***
Took the Tropicanna's off the pot risers I DIY'd and brought them to the floor.
Gives light in between the 2 plants at the side and also helps remove any light burn on the tropicanna, as I have been noticing a very slight tinting of too much light in the central part of the tent.
Plants look incredible, tiny bit of tip burn but im not too worried, I'm feeding 1000-1200 ppm at the moment.
Speaking of which, fed some tap water, 500ml each, they were dry enough to warrant a turgor pressure loss top up.
Feeding tomorrow.

They're getting super thirsty again. woke up dry. gave 500ml tap water each plant.
Will do the same this evening.
Tomorrow feeding going to go to 16 Liters instead of 13 Liters. I'm lazy and don't want to water daily.
Plants look phenomenal, buds are getting massive.
The Wedding Cake on the left is throwing out paintbrushes thick of pistils, it's quite insane. Gonna be a hell of a plant around day 63!!!
Day 53 i'll start checkin trichomes and start posting x20-x60 shots.

Buongiorno a tutti seconda settimana di fioritura,le piante mi sembrano in buone condizioni le due nel vaso più grande si sono allungate parecchio le altre un po' meno, oggi ho fertilizzato dopo due giorni che non bagnavo,il 3° giorno si vedevano i segni della sete ,alla soluzione ho aggiunto solo del calmag insieme a tutto il resto solo per vedere se quelle carenze sarebbero sparite una volta per tutte la lampada ora è al massimo della potenza purtroppo un fiore si è bruciato prima che potessi tirare su la lampada

This ladies got pretty big for real, hands down the biggest autos I've ever had grown in 7l pots, excellent performance, and the flowers start to stink really strong, there is one pheno which is more developed than the other 2 phenos but the 3 have developed really good and they are producing a lot of sticky and stinky trichomes! Let's see how this will end up! Can't wait 🤤

With the majority of trichomes now turned milky with some turning Amber, i have decided to begin a 10 day flush using nothing but ph balanced water. Doing a shorter than normal flush as the plants with deficiencies don't have much nutes to use up.

7 months after planting her from seed the day is finally here. A little earlier than I would of liked due to insects (crickets/grasshoppers eating buds) but she's thereabouts finished. Probably lost 1/3 of buds from the chewing insects but still a big yield and my drying room is full 😊
She survived two rainy season's and some serious wind from a tropical depression back in September.
I have kept this grow completely organic so no pesticide or chemical fertilizers used. Apart from heavily amending the soil at the start I mostly fed her crabmeal once a month and seaweed and molasses in most waterings. A few of those waterings were diluted with my urine 😆👌 NPK right!? Why not.. then at the end I added a cultured pro biotic yogurt to the soil 2 days before I harvested. (Tip from a fellow grower @med_in_tropic - thanks bro) Not sure if it made any difference as I cannot compare with another plant but, the plant starting smelling like lemon furniture polish.. like a lemon scent with a fuel undertone. Almost menthol like 🤷♂️.. smells amazing. Me and my wife drank tea from the trimming and the citrusy flavour came though into the tea which was nice.
Weather wise the temperature is down now to around 16c at night with RH around 50% so the buds should dry much slower than the last harvest so I should get a better flavour profile.
Smoke report to follow after she has been in a jar for a week or so.. I did try a bud sample a few weeks back and the taste then was already pleasant so for sure this will be fire... 🔥

Love Potion Auto Week 5 2/9-15
Love Potion Automatic is just starting flower. Delay in flowering due to topping week 3 of veg.
She grew about 3 inches this week maybe more but I’ve pinned her limbs out as much as possible. At the beginning of the week, she was 11 inches tall, 2/13 she is14 inches tall.
I’ve moved the pins out to the edge of the pot. For future training, I must add some wires through the pot holes to keep the branches lower. I’ve spread the top out and a few limbs are taller than the others.
I reduced nutrients to half strength in the feed solution and will continue the same formula thru til flush. I added Green Sensation this week then read the instructions said add in 4th week flower. Love Potion Auto is an auto to be an 11 week flower from seed to harvest. If I wait till the 4th week, it will only be used for 2 maybe 3 weeks. Would that benefit the plant? So I think I will add some each time but a 25% strength. Calls for 4ml/g I will use 1ml. They are autos and I should be lowering the nutes anyway. Pinned more branches and lightly defoliatied. I didn’t want to take too many leaves off this time. I add 2 gallons of water to the T700 humidifier daily to keep the VPD in line.
2/9 & 11 4 gal fed 2 liter each nutrients added at ½ of recommended amount. Making 4 gallons since I have 2 pots of carrots and a Dill in the back.

The tent ist getting really full rn. Big defoliation and lollipopping in the coming days .
The Lemon Orange stretching crazy. The Blueberry Pancakes are Bushmonsters with lots of Side branches. One of the BBP has little Nitrogen deficiency. Nothing serious.
All in all very healthy plants. Waiting for the first trichomes and aroma in the tent.

The plants have already been topped. Today, on 25-05-2024, two large leaves were removed, covering the sprouts.

Overall this week was very steady! They drank a lot, between Sat-Sat I had to fill res twice. I think my res is 50L, so they went thru 100 L (or so) in a week. Or about 2L per plant per day!
Probably on Tuesday, I might defoliate again. It's a pretty solid sea of green, but there is a lot below canopy and these are Autoflowers, So I will promote the Larf growth, to use in edibles etc.
Generally I try to avoid defoliating into flower, but desperate times! Haha
The interesting thing is, when I look at my week to week data, I can see as the canopy thickened, the overall temperature of the Tent went down, then stabilized at about 24c.
So to me, that indicates the canopy is absorbing much more energy than previously (avg was 27.5c). So what use to raise the tent by 3c, is now going right into the Plants.
I'm very hopeful about this run! :)

These girls have definitely rooted and started upward. They're about 3in tall and showing daily growth. I stopped watering by spraying the soil and started hand watering 250-500ml daily. I use calmag 5ml/gal every feeding. So far they've responded well and I look forward to the weeks to come.

Start of week 3, the three survivors are doing great! I did happen to find some algae growing on top of one of the rockwool cubes. (This was my fault for not fully covering the tops of them with hydroton to block out light.) As an attempted fix, I cut some square pieces of black cloth that I laid of the top of the cubes to block out the light completely. Hoping removing their light source, the algae will die off and discourage any further growth. If it gets any worse I’ll try using a hydrogen peroxide solution.
Day 17, the three ladies are looking nice. Starting to see some nice healthy roots populate inside the buckets. I went ahead and upped their nutrients today. We will see how they are doing in the morning.
-FloraFlex - 1.5g/gal of each V1 and V2.
-Advanced Nutrients - 1/2 strength MGB and hobbyist additives.
**Algae update: seems like using the black cloth to block out all the light has killed off that algae growth and I don’t see anymore so it’s working!**
Day 18, I thought one of my plants had root rot. Which was weird for it to happen that fast in less than 24 hours since changing the res. Come to find out it’s just nutrient stain from the Advanced Nutrients, so thank god. #1 and #2 which are growing with FloraFlex got FIMmed today. I’ve topped plants before but never FIM. Not sure if I did it right, but that’s the fun in all this, is experimenting to see what works.
Day 20, #1 and #2 are responding well after being FIMmed couple days ago. I decided to FIM #3 as well. I also decided to leave the 4th one out of this diary from here on out since she’s behind. We will stick with the original three that survived from the start.
So far I’m really loving their bushy appearance and thick leaves. Their roots are coming out super nice as well! Pretty soon these babies are going to just take off!

Week Thirteen
Flower Week 7 - so the high humidity bite me, found some budrot on 3 headbuds of the orange sherbet and the gelato. It was easy to remove and everything else looked fine. I got a second venti and pumped up the exhaust fan. This was the problem, I kept the exhaust to low.
Luckily after fixing the problem, the run ended without any more problem. At he time I planned the harvest date and decide to wait one more week to get full 8 weeks of flower. So one more week to report, after that the harvest results will be posted. I want to include some pics of the finished flowers, so this will take another week or so to post.

Day 29. Best from all but very sensitive to nitrogen, pot is still full and as she takes over all of it , she constantly have few overdose issues. Very responsive to leaf tucking , stem twisting, forms nice canopy, will be biggest producer no doubts in this run. Will try to bend main stem with some LST in few days.
Mars TS1000 - Light is solid and does job. For last week output is on max . Still rotate a lot, but am happy with development. I miss more good wind inside, but i live in shared house ;)))))))))))) even really silent air system is still loud on desired speeds ...
Hope next week ill send her to flower. Will top up with Worm Castings and Mycorrhizae during training in few days, when girls will be watered next time. Rhythm is good, every 3 days pots are light. 1.5 liters to each went straight in after photo shoot.
Day 31. Applied BioBizz Leaf Coat when lights went off. Loads of training was made today too.
Day 33. Now girls are trained daily. Top shoot twisting, leaf tucking, rotation around axis , changing positions inside of tent and so on. Always wash hands before any training, it is a must.
Still havent made mind, scrog or lst ... Think tomorrow will be watering day and i have to decide which way to go , i am fliping them at next watering 100%, otherwise again rush to harvest before late spring holidays ...

We started week 3 as we ended week 2, which is great. She continues strongly at the beginning of this week and seems almost unstoppable. She clearly enjoys her surroundings and looks very healthy. She has started preflowering and seems to be gearing up for another explosion in growth. She is very good at leaftucking and has already developed a good number of shoots. On to more! A new update at the end of this week.

End of another fantastic week for MBAP. This week was all about pre-flowering and you can see that she is preparing for an explosive bloom. She has benefited enormously from the LST that I applied and has a good number of shoots ready to explode during flowering. In addition to leaftucking, have also removed the lower shoots so that she can concentrate her energy on the upper shoots. I also did the biotabs in the ground in the middle of the week. We have opted for 3 biotabs in 20-25l soil. Have waited several weeks before putting the tabs in the ground because we work here with aitoflowers. And they prefer a light feeding regiment for the first few weeks. We are going to gradually lower the humidity and get ready for flowering and week 4! Until next update

Day 36: Girls looking pretty happy. Still some discoloration going on. Doesn't look to be spreading though.
Day 37: Ok, the girls obviously were not happy this morning. I watered with quite a good amount of runoff and measure the PPM at 3200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm surprised they are still alive! Had to make a quick run to get some water for a flush as I only have 5 gallons worth. Ran 2 gallons through each of them at a ph of 6.4 around 9:30 this morning. It's now 5pm and they have pulled through great. These OG Kush are extremely resilient.
Day 38: The girls look way better today after flushing yesterday. Two of the pots were almost completely dry already. Went ahead and fed at 500ppm with runoff.
Day 39: I think it's dialed in now. They are looking amazing and still stretching pretty good. Went ahead and pulled off a handful of leaves between the 5 of em.
Day 40: Did a little more defoliation and opened them up a bit. I am super worried about getting any type of mold or any issues in particular for this first round. One of the girls needs a touch more but ran out of time. Girls are looking super healthy! 💪
Day 41: They are looking super awesome. Got the runoff dialed in. 750 going in and roughly 800 coming out. May up it in a week or so.
Day 42: Nothing new to update. Girls still looking amazing. I think the stretch may be slowing just a tad.

Packing on the trichs now, all expressing their own tings. The cherries Jubilee has a great bud structure nice and dense but has lots of packed in sugar and fan leaves sticking out of the colas. Looks nice but is a bit detrimental to the lower stuff. I’ve defoliated but it really is dense and awkward to trim, so I’ve kinda left it.
