8/24 update: Welcome back to my garden! Thanks for following me on this 17+1 strain photoperiod SOG grow adventure! Yes, I said plus one. If you're following me, you may have already seen that I decided to sow one more strain. The first Jenny Kush seed didn't germinate and even if it did, we have 3 possible males in the garden, the rest are feminized. Since I bought sixteen 12 inch square pots to fill a 48" x 48" footprint, and we have some regular seeds in the mix, I figured it'd be a good idea to add one more strain. I went with another breeder I have never grown before, Expert Seeds. The strain is Gorilla x Cookies. My "helper" forgot to wet the seeds after I had sowed them and the top soil was a bit dry. I was not in the garden a little less than 48 hours and I gave them water when sowing, but I hope they didn't dry out too much. If the Gorilla Cookies doesn't germinate, I will rule that one as user error and not on the breeder. The rest of the garden is growing strong with the exception of the Sour Lemonaid. She sprouted looking a bit burnt and has some deformed leaves. In my experience, they usually grow out of it, but only time will tell. Week 10 done!!! She is getting frosty!!!! Trichomes are going crazy this week. The only input from me this week was to water/feed her.

I harvested a week earlier , because I spotted some minor bud rot in lower branches. I don't know why, bud I could not see any sign of bud rot in the bigger buds. I just found them , because I found some twisted sugar leaves, which is in most causes a bullet proof sign. The plant overall seemed to be in a pretty good condition, with minor nitrogen deficiency and some potassium/phosphorus. The last to, I should have added a small amount more, to make the buds a bit more dense, but the current state is ok. Although , it was a complete outdoor grow, pushing bud density would probably have gotten to a more a more bud rot state. This plant is really easy to grow, she almost runs for itself and does need little to no care. I chose a big pot , 25 liters , added 12 liter of light Mix and filled the rest with Coco and perlite. After that, I barely added nutrients and just waited for signs of deficiency, which barely occurred. Aroma: The aroma ist very sweet and some kind of fruity, but not generic , it is outstanding in its own kind of way. You're definitely missing lemon scents, but I think it's more of orange . There are no signs of earthy , peppery or stinky smells. Just pure sweet fruit. Unfortunately it means, I can not smell " cookies". But I thing this also happens to a lot of " cookie" strains and is often exaggerated, if claimed. I hung her up in my whine fridge , 16°C and 60% rlf for the first few days. After that, I turned rlf down to about 52%. She smells exactly like she did outdoors. Her smell does not hit you in the face. But if you smell it, it is really pleasant and calming. The smoking test be added , after I tested it for a few days. Overall in growing this variety, I rate this strain 8/10. I would would give this strain more stars, if I could really smell cherry and cookies. Unfortunately, the cherry smell combines more with the overall fruity smell, which makes it hard to isolate it. I can definitely recommend this strain to beginners, if they seek a user friendly hybrid with a guaranteed nice (bag)-appeal and reliable sweet, but not kushy aroma. A pro grower will definitely hit bigger scales, if grown indoors and preferably in Coco / hydro. I hope you enjoyed my conclusion and take it consideration, when you plan to buy some beans. Zum Pressen waren beide Strains super. Angenehm zum Rauchen und ertragreich. Terps sind hauptsächlich Citrusnoten.

Great climate, ideal. No problems to report, for the moment the critters are focused on something else. If it doesn't get too hot, I'll start reducing irrigation and defoliate more. Hope everyone enjoyed looking over my shoulder on this grow and best of luck to all participants! REVIEW - Runtz (fem., photo.) from Zamnesia: ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬜⬜ The seeds from Zamnesia germinated rapidly, rooted strongly, went wild in veg, and produced an ample amount of high-quality medicinal flower. The diary speaks for itself on that front so this space will be more of a phenotype review. The plants were labelled A, B, and C from left to right respectively in photos. A and B were the 'clasicaly-appearing' sativa-esque leaves while C was the more 'indica-appearing' phenotype. Although A and B appear the same qualitatively, they did produce substantially different amounts of flower (despite their DLI being near max out for the entire tent footprint without supplementing CO2, so I do not think just being in the middle attributed to this). Past their different yields, A and B also have vastly different profiles. A is a classic gelato/ice cream cooler/Z terps, and my personal favorite of the plants (wish I had taken a clone of this one instead). B is the most on point for what I think of with Runtz, classic Z terps but with a slight tropical/rotten/sweetness to it. C had the misfortune of being ready to chop a little earlier than the other girls so her profile is mostly just spicey kush now. I did observe intersex flower sites but given the entire context of the diary and how the plants performed, I have to assume it was user error. No pollination observed in any of the flowers, as zero additional intersex sites occurred. The distinction between A, B and C is what I would expect from a typical F1 cannabis seed. I do not enjoy growing from seed much but these girls were manageable. Add to that the relative stability of the genetics for a Runtz recreation, and well, these are good quality beans for a great price. Not only is Zamnesia responsive and available, their confidence speaks volumes. How many vendors would have an in-house Runtz, knowing how much of a genetic-gravity-well it is in, and be confident enough to let ~200 randos grow it and show it? REVIEW - Green Sensation from Plagron: ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬜⬜ I enjoyed using the green sensation, the NPK values on it make it versatile in application and a power-house in flower. I can't say I noticed anything better or dramatically improved, although comparing to Heavy 16 and asking for a marked improvement is big ask in my opinion. What I was able to do was seamlessly integrate the Green Sensation into my current routine. The additive stayed homogenous, was easily introduced into solutions with no adverse impact to the water contents or pH. Most importantly, the plants enjoyed the additive and it did accomplish the main goal of being able to wane off your primary line. In this respect, by using Green Sensation I was able to save resources by lowering my Heavy 16 inputs across the board approximately 50% and supplementing with Plagron's Green Sensation.

Just starting week 5 will keep updating as I go been having a couple issues lately with some of the top fan leaves, they've been starting to get a couple brown spots on 3-4 of the fan leaves not sure what the problem is yet if anyone has any suggestions let me know. Update: Just ordered in a new ph meter from Apera I'm pretty sure my cheap $15 dollar ph meter was all sorts of messed up. UPDATE: ec going in .7 runoff ec .86, ph going in 5.7 runoff ph 6.6 I'll see if the ph goes down now that I have the new ph meter my old one was definitely off. UPDATE: Got the EC down to .4 gonna start slowly introducing nutrients back in, also got the medium pH down to 6.1 from 6.6. Finishing up week 5 think I've gotten things under control now just need to get my EC back up now showing a couple signs up deficiencies on some leaves but nothing too bad, I'm thinking Week 6 will start flower. Did a Flush this Week now looking back on it I shouldn't have done that that caused my plant to go into a deficiency, what I should've done was not flush with half strength nutes I should've used normal strength nutes but just lower the ph more that was the real problem.

week intel: its time to harvest some of plants the ones that is mature enough. indica dominant plants will done first always so we should harvest them first because my base nutrients and one of boosters was salt based, i'll do flushing this week to get some relieve to plants in the last days stresses : flushing Drought stress via watering only one time with flushing this week feeding: day 1 : i flushed them with Advanced Nutrients Flawless finish and adjusted ph day 3 : no more feeding from now on day 5 : no more feeding from now on guide of the week : i harvest in 2 parts : first i harvest top of the branches and will let the lower buds to ripe another week then ill harvest the second wave. indica dominant plants will get done 1 or 2 weeks sooner than sativa dominant plants that will often takes more than 8 weeks so be aware to harvest them sooner. my dry and cure style is this: 3 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 3 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. im happy as hell with this harvest :D.

For fweek 11 she’s looking great with more and more ripening of the buds getting fatter every day and insane thrichome production she’s quite small build size because of the lowerlevel of scrog bit her width makes up for in height with the thriches and pistols starting to change colour getting fatter and fatter getting closer to flushing date

Week 8 (20/01 - 26/01) 24/01 She is bulking up and drinking lots of water Nothing much to do but feeding her

This plant was amazing from start to finish. I will update a final comment soon as well as final weigh and a review of the smoke once sent out to a group of testers.

todo muy bien! esperando paciente el desarrollo de los cogollos, conociendo y viendo los puntos de maduracion asi como la fertilizacion ajustando a su maximo que creemos posible para incentivar que los cogollos engorden, ahora en adelante les hare segumiento de la grande principalmente, que es la que cumple con la edad del diario, ya que las otras como se explico en un principio venian recien cultivadas por eso tienen un par de semanas de retraso , tambien hay una hermafrodita, que al detectar como comentamos semanas anteriores aplicamos al tecnica vista de un cultivador mexicano, consistia en romper los brotes de machos las pelotas con el fin de que no vuelvan a salir, dejando solo los pelos estigmas de las hermbras, si bien el cogollo queda maltratado, al parecer se detiene el crecimiento, asi que estamos viendo como rinde ese experimento.
