D57/FD29 - So, at the last few days of week 4, the SCP had a good push to itself...put on about 6-9" so had to do some bending/leaning of some pretty stiff stems. Unfortunately the only way for them to go was towards the tent walls so drops the light but they're getting WAYYYY over the DLI they should be getting without supplementation of CO2 but its not doing them too much harm. They're drinking a ton but not taking on as much feed (as I've come to expect now in flower) so dropped the base and bloom by 10% (same recommended ratio of 1:1) and kept the PK9/18 booster in there at (what would be recommended) strength for this week...its the same as last week but week 1 (week 4 of flower) of PK9/18 should have been double...didn't want to overdo it as when I used recommended strength 1st time I got it, it created some serious root zone acidification (Which could have been all the K getting used up but was a mare getting the pH up from 4.something every day!!!). Did my usual root flush/wash before adding feed as the EC had crept up to 2.2 (and I know from experience, that starts messing with your numbers if you don't wash that out right) and took about 50L-60L to get the tank to 0.3EC (base is 0.2) was was a lot of salt sitting on/in the roots. Had a ton of underscreen dead leaf to pick up and just cut some wee straggly offshoots (I know, bad idea in flower but they were basically dead/no nutritional value left so basically a bug magnet). Still waiting on Bluelab to send me the RMA approved pH pen...been 2 weeks now since the RMA was approved and still no postage - using an "essentials" pH meter and just dipping in Calibration Fluids between each feed add to ensure some accuracy (As you can see from my recipe page, I like to know what the feed does to the pH - also gives an idea on what they're feeding on when you see pH swings in a different direction that expected). Geekbeast also got back to me. In all fairness, I've been dealing with them direct (Got the light fixture from Alibaba, direct from China - big gamble, right???) and they have been more than helpful. I have been telling them about the light randomly coming on at 5% (lowest brightness) and provided evidence; turns out someone else now noticed the same issue with the Remote App controlled variant and they believed it was a loose control board/wire. They said they did some stuff and that fixed it but I also thought mine was fixed by forcing the dimmer to 0% and it still randomly happened (even though it didn't do it for weeks) so the other person may still get a surprise!! 😋 So, I took out the driver today, pulled out the control board and all wires seemed good and no looseness in the control board (although it does look slightly bent as the Spade for the IR/UV switch isn't fully bedded in). But, like I say, in all fairness to Geeklight, they're posing me a new control board tomorrow from China AND giving me the longer driver cables so as I can put the driver outside of the tent! Give me a bit more room for my Flower Initiator and great to see them honouring the Warranty. Apart from that, wish the SCP would start to set flowers better, they're still looking a bit weak up top but stems appear to be stacking. Hopefully now that last push happened (and hopefully all pushed out!!!!), they will concentrate on buds only...this may be a 10+ week-er - which again, cant really afford as growing tent is drying tent!!! Its supposed to be a 75% indica so would expect bigger/quicker flowering but not showing too many symptoms of being mostly indica...maybe not quite a fully stable genetic line yet?? I dunno but its running slower like a sativa - even with the flower initiator and the late push would maybe imply that too??? Funnily, its tent mate, Red Hot Cookies is 60% sativa and has set flowers quite well so far - showing colour to the tips of the pistils...just wish it would start turning pink!!! Anyway, think that's enough s**te chatted by me!!! Happy growing all!!! 💪

Quite good result considering that she only got around 6h of sunlight, the buds didn't grew too big but they have a lot of THC, this is perfect for people who live in the city and just want to grow some small plants on the balcony without getting too much attention, the smell was really sweet and she offers a good resistance against bugs, and i didn't even applied any insecticide. We are going to use this plant to do a fresh frozen extraction 😁

The roots of my plants are growing incredibly, I will move on to the flowering period in the 3rd week.

***** Week 7 December 26 to Jan 1, 2020 - Days 43 to 49 from germination ***** Oh yeah baby.......that was a stretch week in week 6!!!.......she gained roughly 10 inches last week😀👍 Only 7 days ago I was not sure where we stood with transition and stretch but she took off by mid week last week. I expect this week to be similar to last and she will keep stretching through mid week at minimum but then likely be pretty close to end of stretch and focus on buds. Using this week to ensure we keep her tied down and try and maintain an even canopy in order to have lights at optimum height. She is consuming a couple of liters a day now and will continue this way for a few weeks I suspect. Ensuring that she is getting silica now to strengthen the branches to help support weight. She has some nice thickness to her 8 main branches reaching for the top. Good signs that she will be able to support weight of bigger buds. Its also time to get Terpinator going in full gear as well. This girl has tons of terps according to other diaries so want to ensure we support their production as well👍 Not sure if I will add Rezin from Green Planet to help with trichome production this go or not.....I wanted to stay with just Remo's line of nutes but I still have to add silica, microbes, beneficial bacteria, and enzymes........yes healthy microbes will produce beneficial enzymes but I always add them as well.......so am I really staying with just that line already??? She had more yellow leaves at the below than I realized when I pulled her out. Not what we want at this point in life so ppm have been stepped up and frequency will increase for both Fast Buds girls😀 Healthy and strong growers need the meat and potatoes!!!!! Really want the flavors to come out for this girl so I have been watching the feed and trying to make sure I don't find myself unable to flush her well enough. Finding the balance😃 Little more daily detail......... Dec 26/20, Day 43 - 2L full feed again. Had mixed up 12L yesterday. - Added 2ml/L of Microbial Mass and Piranha = 1200ppm and 5.9pH. - The girls needed their microbe allotment as we get closer to the end. - Bacteria added to help keep some of the nutrients in the media as she finishes. - next watering is more of plain water and add Terpinator. Dec 27/20, Day 44 - pots are light again in the afternoon. - 2L watering with Magnifical and Microbes and Rezin @ 2ml. Terpinator @ 3ml = 400ppm and 5.8pH - She is a hungry girl but backing off the ppm on this watering a bit. - trimmed lower branching on the outside and down low. No need for her to waist energy on four branches so cut them off. - I have added Green Planet Rezin because it has become part of my routine now for the last few grows and my girls have been frosty......continuing with it on this grow......in moderation😜 Dec 28/20, Day 45 - the girl is hungry so feeding again today with full nutrients. - 2.5L watering today, stepping up from 2L volume. - Full line of Remo, all 6 parts plus silica again @ 2ml = 1150ppm and 5.9pH Dec 29/20, Day 46 - another feeding in the morning today. Pot was really light. - 2L in the morning giving with same feed of 1150ppm and 5.9pH. - in the evening, 12 hours later, pots were pretty light so gave another 1.25L of feed that was left over for 16L mixture yesterday. - she had a total of 3.5L feed today......water tomorrow and not feed. - observing today that she is slow accepting new water into the media......root issues starting? - stripped off two lower outside branches again today that are too low. - will keep talking some lower branches from this girl this week and then leave her alone after that.......not too radical, just a few that will not amount to much in the end. Dec 30/20, Day 47 - she has not finished her stretch just yet......she is taller again this morning. - Pulled them out quickly to test the weight of the pots and they need watering again today. - The leaf colour is quite green now when you pull them out and look at them under natural light.......back off ppm next two watering's and keep CalMag, Terpinator, and microbes for now only. - 11:00am she had 2L watering with Magnifical @ 1ml, Enzymes Komplete and Microbial Mass @ 2ml = 175ppm and 5.7pH Dec 31/20, Day 48 - pots are really light this morning. - 2.5L feeding with Terpinator @ 3ml, MagNifiCal and Rezin @ 2ml Natures Candy @ 1ml = 600ppm and 5.9pH - pulled her out and trimmed off a fair bit of lower branching. Did it now before she gets too far into flower. - she has really vigorous branching so trimmed a lot of inside growth and the bottom 1/3 of her. - It was actually fairly aggressive stripping so will keep an eye on her and see how she reacts......should have added some kelp and vitamin B to the feed but didn't😶 Jan 1/21, Day 49 - watering in the morning. - 2.5L watering with CalMag, VeloKelp and Vitathrive @ 1.5ml = 400ppm and 6.0pH (Had to add Terpinator for 1ml/L to bring down the pH......missed it so added something, too much pH up was added.) - they have been given a lot of ppm this week so backing off a bit and just giving some basics as using RO water. - bud sites mid way down the stems are getting bigger and stacking more........she has some huge potential to yield but with her only in a 3 gal pot.......I feel like I shot myself in the foot and she should have certainly had a 5gal pot!!!!

One more week till flower

So much growth. I had the 1000w light up to 100% for a bit but it's just too hot so I put it back down to 75%. Dec 19: this one has some burnt leaves. I can't exactly tell if it's nutrient burn or light burn. I switched it into the cooler spot the White Widow was in, and I added a bunch of water. This one drank maybe a third of the water since Friday, at least twice as much as the other one. The pH on this one is still reading really low but my tap water is 7.8 and the White Widow is 7.6. I'm just going to watch it before I start adding pH up. It's very strange. This one is still stretching like crazy at the main cola points. She's starting to bloom but not as much as the white widow.

Started flushing last week. Next week Is the last. I'm really proud about these plants. I'll grow more times Tropicana bc Is a really good plants that grow likes a Monster. I'll do the harvest week in 10 or 14 days.

the first crooked leaves were not a problem. the 6 plants are vegging nicely showing large broad leaves - two sets now and beginning to sprout the third set of leaves. started nutrients this week and root juice. 150ml filtered water every other day - lights at 20 inches and 60% power. the ladies are looking good!

4-5-2021 Trace elements fix. i think everything is stable about 2/3 plants had some micro nutrition deficiency so i think tomorrow im gonna turn the watts from 280watt to 350watt , and some light defoliation max 5% Fun to grow : i just love her , Amazing plant she grows very well and easy, just 2 see her explode from week 4 till now is very impressive😱 growing in height stopt because i can see she putting some weight on her beautiful tops of enjoy.. One of the Sunset Sherbet immediately sank, the other floated. Both Gelato floated. on 7/4 - After 18ish hour soak, planted 3/4" into solo cup - coast of main stonington blend soil. PH'd water to 6.4 an watered enough to saturate plant site. on 7/5 - Both Sunset Sherbets popped thru the soil. on 7/6 - One Gelato popped thru soil. Lightly watered the plants the already popped. on 7/7- Second gelato still didnt pop, moved soil aside and saw it was cracked and tap root growing. Re-covered the seed with soil and lightly misted with 6.4ph water. Removed the humidity bags from the sherbets and the one gelato, Light was at 24" 50% power. Moved light up to 33" and 100% power. on 7/8 - very light watering on all plants on 7/9 - about 100ml water on 2x sherb 1x gelato. Second Gelato finally popped up today. Lowered light to 30", still at 100% power

Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. Greetings one and all, welcome back to my garden. Late update as I’ve been busy. Cruise control on all ladies, at this point I’m just being patient, following the feeding calculator to the letter. Shogun Nutrients have proven to be a great range, absolutely no issues whatsoever since day one. A few weeks to go before flush and hopefully we’ll see a real explosion in flower output. Right now the aroma in closet is a mixture of citrus and candy. Impressive genetics by FastBuds.

Finally those will become mother plants as well since some friends asked me for clones so i will keep up the diaries but i won't switch these ones into flowering yet. I'm planning to start my clones at the end of this month. I will be doing a main-lining with 15x15 rock wool and FloraFlex stuff 😎
