I transplanted the Blackberry Kush a little early so it could start benefitting from the auto watering. For my grow set up I am not worried about overwatering, and I think the root development will be just fine in my tall, 2.5g pots. I will keep dialing up the nutrients carefully, as the Blackberry Kush is showing some minor development issues which I hope will self resolve (the Fastbuds Blackberry is doing great in the same conditions). I will have a lot more updates during the week, happy growing everyone and stay safe! 👍🌱 Day 10: started adding silicon and rapid start (and a little pH down) and upped the trio slightly. In case anyone is wondering if there is any perlite, there is! It's just chilling under layer of pure coco. Right now there is 3l of perlite per pot, with the highest concentration lowest in the pot where drainage will be needed the most. Day 12: I lowered lights to 20 inches which is my vegitative growth hanging height generally. Thanks to those who responded to my grow question regarding this plant's leaf deformaties, the general consensus was that if the other parameters are good and this is the only plant showing symptoms it is likely genetic. This is also what I have suspected, as the only other plant I have had display these characteristics was a Black Cream almost a year ago grown with a completely different growing style. That plant grew alright (although slightly behind it's peers) so I hope this one can do well once it starts taking off! Day 13: I am running low on calimagic as a cal mag source, so I switched out to Greenleaf nutrients cal-mag pro that I have a bag of (that will last forever!) It has a bit more nitrogen, which is good for the current plant stage, so I can save the calimagic for flowering if the plants don't mind the switch. I mix about .5-.6 EC worth of Cal mag, which is about .625tsp per 5 gallons of the Cal mag pro. I will have this reflected on tomorrow's diary entry.

Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.

Blue cheese auto day 77 couple of mistakes made first off my two middle shoots stretched out too much during the stretch phase and didn’t seem to be developing at the same rate of the rest of the plant I bent the two tallest tops over breaking one and then not keeping them down they where back up the next day I didn’t want to stress the plant anymore so I left it I then got a light meter and noticed the light was too intense so I have turned the light down now, still some decant looking buds on it and the tops are starting to mature started flushing on Monday the 18th july 90 litres of water ph to 6.5 through my 40litre pot until my ppm runoff was down to 198ppm I will be harvesting in the next two weeks, swipe to the end for video

Well these seeds are a bit unstable I think. 4 of the 6 were Hermie, so I don't know if it was the exotic light shedule or if this strain needs more work? anyway I got 2 that are all girl and I think I'm gonna pull the last Hermie and work the 2. on a brighter note o got 110 gallons of free water. thank you mother nature see the video. gonna keep on keeping on with the last 2 hate to lose the yield of 4 plants but it is what it is. 😭

Day 64 - Starting the 10th week today and she’s just chugging along. Getting fatter and filling in more everyday. Gave her the first feeding of the week today and thinking about giving her a good flush at the end of the week and just water her till the end. Day 65 - Man oh man I’m looking forward to chopping this girl. She just gets fatter everyday. Debating on starting to flush this week so she’ll get a good two weeks to use everything up. Seeing some of the pistils starting to get a neon orange so I’m starting to think the end of week 11 will be it for this girl. Pretty much all milky trichs with a couple amber in there and no clear. She’s coming to the end of the line. Day 66 - Gave her a full gallon of pH’d water today and counting down to harvest day. I lowered the lights to about 8-10” because the heads on the buds really seem to be stretching and not looking normal. Don’t know if the lowering of lights will help, she’s “foxtailing” a bit it this is just normal for this strain. Hopefully lowering the lights will help. Day 67 - Decided, after some research and advise from here, to raise the lights instead of lowering because that would make the foxtailing worse. Will most likely chop her in about 10ish days, so going to start flushing tomorrow. Despite the foxtailing, the buds are still FAT and heavy! Day 68 - Seems like raising the lights kind of helped with the foxtailing a bit but we’ll see what happens her last week and a half or so. Flushed her with 2 gallons of pH’d water and some of foxfarm’s sledgehammer. Will give her straight water from now until chopping day. Hopefully she fills in a bit more but either way, she’s definitely fat and happy for the most part. Day 70 - End of week 10 today and will most likely chop next weekend. Letting her dry out still and thinking about no more water till chop but we’ll see how she looks throughout the week.

Another week down few more to go can't wait!! First ever attempt of growing my own so really impatient to see the final results now and get to the finish line, that said all has went well upto now other than the size they reached haha, really started putting on weight now it seems and they smell lovely, excited to see the buds fatten and progress over these last few weeks up until harvest now, started 5 liberty haze also they are just coming upto 3 weeks now so check that diary out to, any comments info tips for the final stages appreciated

Goodbye week one and hello week two of flower! No real concerns at this point, she seems to be moving along just fine and starting to stretch a little more every day. Had to raise fan, temp minder and humidity controller censor. Can hardly tell her leaves were stripped last week but won’t pull anymore till she done her stretch. Environment has been exceptionally stable throughout the grow thanks to my new LEDs and humidity controller. Just have to focus on watering 💦 Cheers 🍻 Day 14 flower - They perked right up after that watering. Still running humidity at 60-65%. Can’t wait for another week to go by so I can give it it’s final defoliation. Cheers 🍻

Welcome growfessors to the harvest of Mandarin dreams pheno 2. She's typical light, airy fluffy buds. Wet trim and then vacuum sealed and into the freezer. Experimenting with this strain, freezing before turning into bubble hash. Will update with some sort of weight in the future.

8/23 I WATERED THE NATURAL MK ULTRA AND THE 10TH PLANET IN THE BACK WITH A GALLON AND THE TWO TENS SPLIT A GALLON. It's hotter today and the wind is picking up. I wish I had gotten rid of that plant when I thought to. Oh well. I'm going to have to bite the bullet and treat things. Smell is increases as well as flower size. However I'm noticing more leaves that are yellowing and falling off. Smell has intensified. The special kush in late flower doesn't seem to be producing trichomes like it should. Or maybe it's still early. I see some but by this time I would think it would be frosty as hell! It's rained like once this summer. I've put tons of work into defoliating. I'm not sure if I'll try a controlled spray trying to avoid buds or if I should use a sponge and just hit every leaf. At least I'm seeing that the buds are still expanding and smelling despite these invisible Bastards. It's not like I see them. Even my traps only caught like one. I'll update as I go. EDIT: WATERED THE TENTH PLANET AND THE LATE SOECIAL KUSH 1 GAL. PLAN ON FEEDING TOMORROW. I DID A SHIT TON OF DEFOLIATION. I DONT SEE ADULT THRIPS BUT I SEE THE EGGS AND SHIT IN THE CREVICE AND SOMETHING IS COMING AND EARING SMALL LOWER FOLIAGE. I RIPPED TWO INTERIOR BRANCHES OFF THE PLANTS I TREATED BEFORE WITH CITRIC ACID BECAUSE I FOUND A COUPLE STOPS OF MOLD ON THE STEM. AFTER RESEARCHING THRIPS WITH A.I. UNTIL IT LITERALLY CHANGED PROTOVAL AND STOPPED HELPING ME SAYING IT DANT HELP CULT8VATE CANNABIS AFTER GIVING ME SEVERAL DIFFERENT INSTRUCTIONS AND OPTIONS. I SCREENSHOTTED THEM THOUGH. I USED THE SAME MIXTURE OF CITRIC ACID AMD DAWN ONLY HALF STRENGTH AND HIT THE 10TH PLANET AND PINK KUSH THAT ARE PATIENT ZERO. THEN I TOOK A SPONGE AND EITHER DEFOLIATED OR WIPED THE LEAVES WITH A SPONGE AND SAME CONCOTION ON THE SPECIAL KUSH IN THE TEN. I DEFOLIATED MORE AND THEN "SPOT TREATED" A FEW LEAVES ON A BOTTOM BRANCH OF THE 10TH PLANET WITH MITE X. I'M WAITING UNTIL THE MORNING TO SEE THE RESULTS AND BEFORE I MOVE FORWARD. I HAVE ORGANOCIDE BEE SAFE AND I KNOW IT WORKS GOOD BUT IT SMELLS LIKE SHIT. IM HOPING ILL FIGURE THIS OUT. 8/24 Didn't have time to do a video or take any pictures. I pit a lot of work in the garden yesterday. I removed a couple small branches that had mold on the stem. If I had listened to my intuition and moved that plant (instead of listening to my dad) I probably could've negated this mess. Windy as hell yesterday. Maybe that's why I don't see mich damage from the thrips. The runt in the 50 has some silver ingredients on it. I'm considering using spinosad. Those are way earlier in flower and that shit WORKS. WATERED TODAY;BIG MK ULTRA 1.5, THREE IN THE BACK ROW, CHEMDOG AND TENTH PLANET ALL GOT 1 GALLON. THE TWO TENS SPLIT A GALLON. I THEN FED EVERYTHING WITH A QUART OF FOOD. I'll keep an eye out on the dosage and see what the can handle. I left out plant doctor as I'm dealing with thrips. Took a leaf that looked like sep off the pink kush in the 50 with half used soil. The plants that I treated with citric acid looked no worse for the wear and actually BETTER than they hadcthe day before. The other 10th planet and the Pink kusg in the ten are the worst. If I can't beat it I may junk them. I'm planning on treatingvtge plants I didn't yesterday tonight. I may use a different treatment I'm not sure. EDIT: Went back over and took a few pics and a video. I defoliated a SHIT TON of leaves. I can just tell the ones that the thrips have been sucking and laying eggs. It's windy as hell. Plants are going crazy. I'm wondering if the wind will hurt the thrips. Maybe I should've just stood with the wind at my back and throw a buNch of D.E. in the air and have it coat the plants. I'm scared of using d.e. because it absorbs so much water. It's like 80%! The year I had fusarium I put a bunch of d.e. on the soil and it retained water like a mofo. The plants I treated showed no I'll effects. I'm th8nkobg I'm going to remove patient zero and isolate it. And I'm considering using spinosad on the pink kush. What would you do? If you had to use something in the middle of flower or loss your crop which would you choose? I'll probably just use citric acid or the rubbing alcohol. I don't know. I'll keep it updated. I HAD A PRETTY GOOD METHOD BUT IT WAS SLOW. I PUT THE LEAF BETWEEN MY GLOVED HAND AND SPRAYED THAN RAN THE LEAF THROUGH MY FINGERS TO AVOID FLOWER. ON PLANTS WITH SMALLER FLOWERS I WAS ABLE TO JUST FOLD THE LEAVES UPWARD AND GET THE BOTTOMS. ILL CHECK AND SEE HOW IT WORKED IN THE MORNING AND GO FROM THERE. WE GOT SOME GOOD RAIN TODAY. I'm seriously considering spunosad on the pink kush as it's earlier in flower and I think it could handle it. I might just use this spray first and see how it goes. Buds are swelling and seem bigger everyday. I looked at some old diaries and I can see ive had thrips before. I also have some insect (ear wigs or pillars) that target lower branches and kinda lollipop them. I hope it's not earwigs because I've had bas luck dealing with them. I'll have to check at night. EDIT: WENT OVER AROUND THREE TO CHECK THINGS OUT. PLANTS LOVED THAT RAIN AND SEEMED TO LOVE THE TREATMENT AS WELL. THAT RAIN AND WIND DEFINATELY DISRUPTED THE THRIPS. THE SPRAY I USED SHOULD KILL ON CONTACT AND SUFFOCATE EGGS AND LARVAE. PLANTS LOOK THE HAPPIEST IVE SEEN THEM IN A WHILE. I CANT TREAT THE OTHER PLANTS TONIGHT BUT I SHOULD HAVE TIME TOMORROW NIGHT TO GET WHAT I MISSED. IF ITS NECESSARY. ILL KEEP AN EYE OUT. 8/27 Rained some last night. I had to shake everything off this morning. Looking back through previous diaries I've HAD thrips before and couldn't identify it and made it to harvest so I think I'll be OK. BUDS arecrcploding in growth and the smell is turning into tjat pungent aroma we all love. The early special kush smells amazing. I think the rain and wind helped with the thrips. I'll do another application and get the plants I missed. That pink kush in the ten looks pretty rough. I probably would've been better off to ditch it earlier it's been treated now so I'll keep an eye on it amd I may just cut it. If I put in the work they would be fine. At least I hope so. We'll see. I'll update as I go. 8/28 Had to shake the plants off this morning. Must've rained last night. I'm not used to that since we've been in such a drought. I'll check later but I'll probably hold off as most are still heavy. I probably should selectively water the thirsty ones but I think tjey can make it. The rain (or the treatment) has greatly helped cut down on thrip population. Nights are in the 40's so it's not the most hospitable environment for them. I'm still keeping an eye out and will be applying another treatment at some point. I didn't do a video this morning as it was kinda dark. I'll check them again when I get back. It's supposed to rain tomorrow all day. I think I might bring the furthest special kush in the barn under lights for the day. That way those huge buds don't get soaked. I'll play it by ear. 8/29 Everything was dry this morning. I could see the soil pulling together away from the bags. My late flowering special kush was good though. It was good to let things dry out from all that rain. We are supposed to get an inch of rain with rain tonight. I didn't want to leave the girls high and dry so I WATERED THE GARDEN STRATEGICALLY WITH 5.5 GALS. USING IT WHERE IT WAS NEEDED MOST. That way if we don't get as much rain as we are supposed to the girls will still be OK. Didn't do a video today. I decided to leave everything out and let it get the natural rain. I'm sure it will be fine. I'm going to need to stake those buds as they swell. They are getting pretty big. EVERYTHING is getting substantially bigger.

Hey guys I am a day late on the update cuz I went away for the weekend to a buddy's bachelor party and ended up with a broken clavicle in two places and need surgery tomorrow. I dont know how I'm gunna keep things rollin here but I'll figure it out. Anyways I couldn't get the plants out of the tent tonight but when I have some help tmm I'll try and get some better individual pics. I fed them before I left Friday at 1110 ppm with the green buzz and got a little burn, which is a good thing because that kinda shows me that less is more with this line and may save you a few bucks over time. It's also nice that there isnt 11 different bottles to pour from so far I couldn't be more impressed with GBL. The planta were all pretty bone dry today but look better than ever. Pics were taken at day 29 this week, temps have been around 73°F and 58% RH. This tent is in a basement so even with the dehumidifier the rh is pretty high especially with the lights out but the plants seem to enjoy it and I have plenty of air circulating This one might be a keeper if it fills out strong, shes a bit more structurally sound than the first pheno fatter leaves, thicker stalks but same stretch. Edit: I fucked somethin up here in the video I put day 29 bloom, these were flipped on june 9th and got 36 hr dark period, I uploaded the video last monday so it was actually on day 22 flower not day 29 but it's a little late to edit the video so ignore that day and I'll make a new one tonight which is actually day 28
