Week 5 is here. 11 days till day 40. We should see some nice dense frosty as FUCK buds. Slight I mean SLIGHT burn. Thats okay I'm figuring out what she can take. Absolute Monster. Another strip on day 32 then we are done fucking with her until harvest. Enjoy the madness and fuckery 😈 Going to cut back on grow now to 1/8th tsp and keep using just bloom and flower fuel with some raw sweet soon. Trying new methods. One last strip tomorrow morning friday.

This week I didn't spend much time checking in on the tent, but when I went to check the reservoir, which I expected to be empty, I realized that the system was clogged. About half of the nutrient solution was still in the tank. I opened the tent to check the moisture of the substrate. It was pretty dry already and the plants were showing some heat stress and the burnt tips had gotten somewhat worse. Being too close to the light didn't help either. They weren't hanging yet, but they needed to drink. It was clogged in a small part of piping between the tank and the tap, which I realized, was never actually cleaned before. And I did have some organic compounds in there a rather long time ago, which probably caused this in the first place. I unclogged it within a few minutes, and bought some Canna D Block to try out. I will probably refill the reservoir again early next week.

This fifth week started off kinda rough. I had to remove some sick leaves that got hit by leaf miners. I’ve cleaned up all the damaged parts from the plants, including this one. On Monday, I’m gonna spray them with a ready-to-use mix that has Neem oil, nettle extract, and horsetail. I also noticed a slight nutrient deficiency, probably because until now I was only watering with untreated tap water — didn’t check the pH at all. Even when I fertilized, I still used water with no pH adjustment. I’ve only just started using pH-controlled water like two or three times now, since I finally bought a pH meter. Now I’m watering and fertilizing with everything adjusted to 6.5, so that’s something I need to keep in mind from now on. I’m planning to bump up the fertilizer to 1 ml per 500 ml of water. I’m using Biobizz Bloom, and I wanna keep the dose like that because the pot is small — just 3.2 liters — so I don’t wanna overdo it with 1 liter of water. I’ve noticed that 500 ml works just fine, so I’ll stick to that. Other than that, everything seems to be going okay.

Hello growers day 49 in the garden with the blue monster she is popping off she is standing at 83cm at the moment she looks very healthy thought I was going to have problems outside but she’s taking it very well loving the zami genetics I’m just going to keep feeding her and let her ride it out staring to get some nice buds starting to form now getting excited can’t wait to try her buds so until next week be safe and happy growing ✌️

We continue forward and the flowers are looking beautiful. Battling pH issues and the drift in this tent is just crazy, especially since I barely have room to move her around to adjust her parameters. I need to not be lazy 😂 and do what needs to be done. She's got a funky grapes profile and berry smell that's getting more acrid as she ripens. From the amount of pistils she's still throwing, I'd say she's gonna be going for a while longer. I'm still in love with that beautiful purple flower and can't wait to see how far I can push her in this micro set up. The power of the Groloponix MiniMax 1G is on full display!!!

Flowering day 11 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The first days of this week it looked really terrible for me because it was much too cold because of the unusual temperature. The heating mat has now also arrived for the big tent and lo and behold the plants have been developing really well since that day ☺️👍. The temperature doesn't keep quite as well as in the small box, but at least I don't get below 18 degrees in the pots at night anymore, even though it's only 16 at the top 😅👍. Since I switched to flowering, it was time to rinse off a bit with Clean Fruits :-) . Did them a lot of good. Partway through last week I noticed that there was no runoff after feedings. I increased the time the fertigation pump runs to 2 mins twice a day. It seems like either the root system is drinking up more or the added aeration has changed how much runoff comes out. Plant 1 has fallen behind in growth. The inter-nodal spacing was so tight that the new growth was being strangled by the older fan leaves and other growth. I adjusted the LST to help and pruned a very small amount of leaves. It seems to be doing better, but is several inches shorter than Zkittlez 2 which has had some really explosive growth. I started the scrog today, bending many of Zkittlez 2’s branches down to fill out the tent. I bent a few branches on Zkittlez 1, but it’s still a little short. This week I upped the nutrients, almost doubling the Cocos A & B, Multizen and Cal Mag. I still tried to keep EC down though, only allowing it to rise by about 300mS/cm. This could actually be the first week of flower, but think I’ve started to spot some pistils, but I’m not sure. I can’t find the breeder’s info, but think it’s supposed to have a 4 week veg time and 10 week flowering period. Update: lots of pistils being thrown out especially from Zkittlez 2. It’s definitely the first week of flower. There has been a lot of growth since the start of the week. I continued to bend branches down and tuck them under the net, but now that buds are really starting to take shape I'm going to lay of any further stressing. I noticed that there was little runoff over the past couple days. Yesterday (Monday) I had to refill the reservoir and mix up new nutrients because there was only an inch of water left. These girls have gotten a lot thirstier over the past 2 weeks. I've upped the feeding times to 3 minutes twice a day.

End of Week 8 (First week of flower) Increased the CO2 to 1200ppm and the ladies love it, already started stretching within the first 3 days of flower which shows that CO2 definitely boosts the grow cycle of cannabis. The main top-sites are popping up everywhere and everything looks evenly spread out. I defoliated again because the fan leaves are growing so fast and blocking bud sites. I also did one last lower canopy maintenance and removed small and stalky bud sites and stems below the trellis net to make sure I get maximum energy distribution to the main colas. I also added some GHF BioEnhancer to make sure the soil-microbes are happy and that the plants reach their maximum potential. Pest Report: EXTERMINATED! Thrips VS Ladybugs VS Neem Oil... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. Then to be extra sure I know that neem oil hinders the life cycle of pests like thrips causing them to stop colonising in my grow room. So I sprayed the ladies every day during the dark period to make sure there are no pests that I or the Ladybugs have missed. Mission accomplished. No more wilting and definitely no more thrips.

Week 5, day 35

Another week closer..... Well another week down and the girls are growing great...The only problem with this grow is these girls are big, very big, having to move and get creative with the plants so there not directly under the light but also not to far away....Dont get me wrong there under the light its just my ceiling is very low and these plants are almost 5 ft tall, so I needed to pull them back out from directly under them so not to burn or get to hot...Its tough but fun.. Besides that they are growing great and the smell is awesome. The Mimosa shot from Herbiesheadshop seeds is kicking ass on budding out, just filling out like crazy. The other 5 that are Mimosa x Orange Punch are a little behind on the budding size but everyday there catching up, no matter what there going to be nice. Thats it for this week... J'ai sorti la plante quand il y avait un rayon de soleil, sinon, elle passe le plus clair de son temps à l'intérieur. Je n'ai pas arrosé de la semaine. Elle avait été trempée avant par de fortes pluies. La plante a pris un coup de froid. Ça se voit sur certaines feuilles de la tête principale. Je fais attention maintenant de la rentrer le soir. Buds are continuing to swell and the smell is really starting to come through. Ordered a magnifying glass a couple days ago so I can start to check out the trichomes on the plant

Day 113. Third wave of heavy flush, girls get from 30 to 50 liters in time-lapse of one hour. Planing to chop them after 10 days, two more heavy flushes ... Control Garden is a beauty ... They are a bit behind, but hopefully next week i will start to flush them aswell. Incredible Bulk standing in front of fan is most matured aka damaged ;))) Not many seeds i see, so i calmed down a bit, still free cheese is only in trap, fact ... Day 115. Girls fade nicely, today got 4th wave of flush, best case scenario in 8 days chop, worst - in 4. Busy work week, so it will be hard to find time, wet triming takes to much from me, i do it too carefully ... Happy Growing !

Hung up my new California Lightworks UVB supplement light. I think I originally hung it a bit too close (18 inches from canopy) based on the subtle color change in the leaves, so I raised it up to 24" above the canopy. I was most certainly skeptical, since this is my first time using UVB, but even over the course of its first week under the bulbs I've notice a visible increase in trichomes. Now I guess won't know whether or not this would have happened anyway, but the sticky diamond coated buds sure are making me smile. 😁
