Week 10 pics and vids.

Final dry weight report (details later): Final chop was on day 88. First harvest was 184g of top-shelf from 5 colas. Then another 5 colas brought it up to 300g of top-shelf on sticks — all from the tent. On the second-to-last harvest I took the rest, which added up to another ~300g including leaves. Flushed with Terra Aquatica FlashClean (before that I was running Overdrive + honey with the base bloom nutrients). In total: 3 days on water + FlashClean, followed by a step-by-step harvest and another 6 days just on water.

Week 5 of veg. Swapped the plates for an alfalfa cover crop and put up a trellis. The London pound Cake and Purple Shah are moving right along. The blueberry muffins are looking good at day 14. Probiotic growing practices take a lot of stress out of growing. No need for ph up or down. The soil balances itself so you get to see a more natural expression of the plant than you’d get with synthetics. You will see plant health change as the soil increases its biodiversity. When the soil is populated with lab bacteria you can completely saturate the roots in still water without root rot or drooping it is almost impossible to over water unless your soil isn’t populated enough with the lactobacillus. Very easy fast pace growing.

Last week of veg, Ppm runoff 1800 and ph 6.6 I don't like this SCROG net very much, I am thinking about removing it for the flower but we will see. Also noticed some pests ( thrips, spider mites) but very little on some leaves at the bottom so I sprayed her with neem diluted in water with soap used as an emulsifier ( made 5 l solution, sprayed around 0.75l until she was soaking wet and with rest of the solution watered water)

Started the girls with some LST to see how they all coped and they bounced back well.

Semana 3

Everything seems to be going slow still. Did one last heavy defoliation to get good airflow going. I added the Ts1000w from Mars Hydro. I’m still feeding the usual 3.0EC from Floraflex. Smell is more on a minty side I can’t really describe it. Other than that nothing else. See you all next week.

4/23/25 A few of these plants seem to be longer flowering genetics which is kind of annoying because of the feed schedule. ive been feeding them with the plan of 8-9 weeks flowering and we are starting week 8 it is day 50 since 12/12 and some of the plants are producing quite a bit of pistils with not much bud growth at the moment. But plant #3 is producing some nice chunky golf ball sized buds and is on track with my feeding schedule but some of these other plants might go 10 weeks Top dressed with: 2tsp of microbe charge 3tsp of Bloom

Seems they are safe and strong! :) Last day to vegetation state!

They've been in flower for a week now. ⏰ No sign of sex yet. ♀️ Loving how they're brushing out. The health of the plants looks well. 😄

I gave away 1 plant and the other got damage with a broken stem hopefully it recover. This is the only Skunk I am considering for now male or female I’m ready.

UPDATE: Day 2 of week 12 - Friday 6th Nov: Nutes in today, haven’t really had to do much else, as the girls just seem to be concentrating on fattening up the buds at a nice steady pace. Oh and this week I’ve finally got a hint of a fruity tropical sweet smell from the buds.. It’s truly lush.. My thoughts are now at when to flush the ladies and how many weeks are left? I’d like to time it all perfectly but as this is my first grow now sure exactly how long they have left! Trichomes are still looking clear and pistils are still mostly white but don’t wanna get caught out and miss the best time to harvest and flush.. Keeping a close 👁️.. UPDATE: Day 4 of week 12 - Sunday 8th Nov: Nutes in again and all looking good, except for the girl that got really wilted last week, she’s doing ok but no way near as nicely developed as the other 3 girls. She has one main cola that’s taken off more than all the other colas which I think may be partly due to topping not working as well as is did on the other 3 girls, she still has one really thick stem compared to the other 3. However the wilting did really slow her down on top of that 😞.. Apart from that I’m pretty happy, Christmas 🎄 is coming and it looks like I will have my first ever home grown smoke just in time.. 🙏🏼❤️🌱 UPDATE: Day 7 of week 12 - Wednesday 11th Nov: Nutes in and a small amount of defoliation. Girls weren’t quite ready for a feed yesterday but this morning they were super thirsty and leaves 🍃 were slightly droopy, nothing major but they were all really ready for a drink. Put an extra 18w 2700k LED strip (from an impulse buy at the beginning of my grow journey) in last night to try and boost bud growth. I think my Viparspectra 300w LED alone wasn’t cutting it. I know it’s only a small increase in watts but the extra 2700k flower lighting for the last week weeks of flower can’t be a bad thing right? .. My DLI was 32 before adding the light so I hope this works positively. Looking at the girls at around 10 hrs after adding the additional LED and they look great so let’s see what happens.. ✌️🏼 & ❤️🍃🌱

W7 - GRETA 🌱is growing well. I again defoliate some leaves from top brunches (compare with week 6) just to make the top canopy slightly less dense. That will allow more sunlight receive by lower brunches a specially when they in the flowering period. Still using garden wire to hold down two top branches. She looks like bonsai cannabis 🎉 😘 I am happily watching her grow 🙂

Starting to Fill The 3 Litre Pot Out Now So Few More Days Be Ready For Her Final Pot, Maybe Thinking A 7 Or 10 Litre For Flowering.

The stretch is amazing! This plant is a real sky king! Buds are really stacking well on most of the branches. A major recovery from the massive defoliation from last week! Internodes are Sativa like. Branchy. BHB 1 is a monster! Around 19 viable bud sites. She's taaall. Lollipopped the lower quadrant for airflow and to redirect the growth where it is needed. BHB 2 is the shorter, slightly younger plant. Shorter and has about 1-12 bud sites. Five branches are taller than the rest (This is a similar trend in #1). The buds are looking healthy. I do get the occasional burnt leaf from my heater at night. Another week of stretching and another big defoliation and that problem should have sorted itself out. Just found out my res temp is at 62°F. I've started the circulation fan in my insulated box in sync with my exit fan. When it gets too warm, it'll start not only my exit fan, but also the box fan. Should raise the temp gradually back up to 65°. Where I like it. Still, no one has complained. Growth was/is still vigorous and healthy! Keeping the PPMs at around 800-900. Going to do a straight water flush for 24 hours, then start again at 500 PPMs or so. In soil I've always done periodic flushes throughout the cycle of the plant. Usually twice in veg. Once at around 6 weeks and another at transition. The third is at week four of flower and the last is the obligatory final flush. 24-48 hours after the flushes, there is a strong and vigorous spurt from the plant. three days later 'in soil' I go back to nutrients. DWC requires much less time to do the same thing, so 24 hours, it is! I've done two flushes so far and the experience in DWC is the same. Just faster. I highly recommend trying it if you haven't already. Although the root rot is essentially gone, I continue to brew my microbe tea using Advanced Nutrients Tarantula. I add a litre every forty eight hours to each plants res. This is just prevention at this point. There is so much peat moss and soil left in the root ball when transplanted from their soil, it just seems prudent. Future grows will be done 'sterile. With no organic material or biosphere (microbes)... unless we run into problems again. With the res temps so low, I don't think it'll be an issue. Finalizando la 6ta semana de floración notamos que engordaron muy bien los cogollos, a partir de ahora, sólo aplicaremos enzimas en los riegos para terminar de descomponer los nutrientes que se encuentran el sustrato, dejándolos disponibles para la planta y así terminar de alimentar con todo el sobrante mientras se van lavando las raíces.
