Into week three of flowering: - Need to up CalMg this week cause all my last grows with this strain the plants were stressing and showing signs of Mg deficiency I think. - The buds are stacking up pretty tight. - The top of the plant is showing some red veins AGAIN, don't know if it is genetics? Or is it too much light? ANY SUGGESTIONS? - Usually what happens is that after week three top of plant will show red veins and some leaves will turn light green yellow. What type of deficiency is this? Thanks in advance for the help. Happy growing, BM 4TwenTee *****Update on LIGHT STRESS:***** Okay I think I got this figured out. Since my plant is showing the following symptoms: - Slow yellowing of top of cannopy - Fan leaves pointing up in a steep angle - Leaves are tacoing up a bit with sharp pointy serrated leaves pointing up - Veins are turning purple and some leaves are showing green veins and yellowing of outer part of the leaf REASONS FOR THE SYMPTOMS: - Since the light is too close to the top of the canopy, although my light is running at around 60% and it is at least a meter away from the light. I think because this was a mother and basically she is accustomed to top canopy PAR of around 180-220 and she was measuring around 600PAR so that is just too much for the plant to handle. So I've lowered the light output so the top canopy is around 420 PAR. - Also my humidity is pretty high at around 72% so I lowered it to around 65% - The reason why the leaves are tacoing up to the light is because the canopy cannot take the high PAR, the temp at the top of the canopy is only 76F so that is acceptable, but the plant is trying the sweat due to the high PAR, but because the humidity was also too high it was not sweating as much as it should. - The reason why a light stressed plant shows different deficiencies eg. magnesium and phosphate is due to the "extra sweating" that takes place, cannabis plants don't choose what they intake, if they need more water to sweat, extra nutrients will be absorbed and this will lockout some of the other nutrients in the solution. **End of week update: Tried multiple changes but still no luck on getting rid of red leaf stem. - Added a 1 hour sunrise and sundown light regiment - Decreased Humidity to 65% from low 70's - Top of canopy PAR decreased from 600 to 350. Leaves red stems still not going away and top of canopy still trying to get rid of moisture with fan leaves pointing up. If anyone can chime in that would be great thanks.

Day 31 she’s just now starting to flower. Little lady showing her parts. Having her get started slow I’m happy to see her off to the races. Excited for her to start to smell. We shall see what’s he has to deliver .

This girl flowers and branches are very heavy Despite not being sugar coated Flowers She is still in development and will become much more heavy . I think that we are looking at probably three more weeks of development to start to check on flower Maturity maybe more but despite being treated Brutally she is a survivor with so much Height she is ideal for our Canadian outside summer. Beginning of week 13 was harvest time! Checking the trichomes on their main buds led to the decision to harvest them. Almost all of them had already milky looking heads and some of them even turned amber. Their incredibly sour smell was barely tolerable as well. Made the decision to harvest them all at once, so the grow room can be turned into a drying room for them. Since this is considered an experiment after all, we wanted to try out wet trimming as well to compare it to the dry trim we're used to. So considering #3 had the least amount of effort due to the low amount of head buds overall, we choose that one to be wet trimmed. It surely was a very sticky and still time-consuming activity, but we're pretty happy with the result. Can't wait to see and taste them when they're finally ready, dried properly and cured a bit! This is plant #2. She still remained my absolute favorite one of them, having the biggest and most beautiful looking main buds. Would've expected a bigger stretch at the start of flowering though, so her branches were still growing pretty close to each other, which isn't that bad but also wasn't really the desired look overall. Plant #2 is one of the dry trim ones. Just made sure to remove the biggest leaves that could prevent a good airflow between the buds when they're hung up.

Day 28 of flower and I’m very happy with these two ladies atm. In both vids, you can tell which one will have the fatter nuggs. The plant in the first vid, was transplanted into Fox Farm Ocean Soil and the other was not. I can tell you right now, your grow medium definitely makes or breaks your grow. I will be using FF as medium of choice from here on out. Not much else to say other than they’re done stretching and are starting to fattening up every day. Got a little over 40 days left until it’s harvest time. 42 to be exact! But I’ll catch yall on the next update ✌️🏾

This week I focused only on bending and tucking the branches under the scrog net, trying to fill the entire space as evenly as possible. No other changes were made — just guiding the growth and keeping the canopy level. If everything continues like this, I might flip to flower next week 🌿💪

Everything is going well at the beginning of the third week. All the main colas are growing at about the same pace. As for the two plants at the front, they’re doing well too, just a little more slowly. I’ve started feeding them, and by the end of this week or sometime next week I’ll begin using Monster PK at a very light dose. The light is now at 100%, so we’ll need to be careful not to keep it too close to avoid the risk of light stress or overexposure. 12/12 switches : 12/06/2026 Back: Frosted Grape Front left: Purple Cookie Front right: Stick Berry Watering remains moderate: ~600 mL for the larger plants and ~500mL for the smaller ones, with 1 L being the maximum applied so far.
