Day 96, 15th of December 2020: Wao and wao... this is what I can say. A bit late I was on holiday I usually start the week with the first day but now with the last one. So let's start with the "black sheep" of this group as she is alone here RQS Wedding Gelato. Easy growing issue free little bushy lady. Absolutely great choice of grow. Pretty much ready for Christmas but she can be cut even now lol.... And now let's speak about the Original Sensible Seeds' girls... Well Black Ghost OG similarly to RQS Wedding Gelato is calm little bushy and issue free lady.... no problem all good ready for Christmas.... Runtz Gum the thick chick with heavy big buds and excellent appearance is really amazing. I placed a stick there and fixed her to look better... It was not necessarily but i have done it. She needs more time pretty much done ny Christmas or a bit after.... Gelato from Original Sensible Seeds is similar in terms of acting such as streching and all that ... The same situation applies not much to really say we wait ;) I am really happy to have these ladies.... Well, Do-Si-Dos OG is the craziest one ever... lol.... not only due her crazy kind of streching style but the trichome developement that comes along to the fan leaf "holder" stem is pretty crazy.... Those buds are like a diamonds sticky and she would be ready to harvest but need to wait because I need to go.... I really had to fix her by placing a stick there I broke one stem but fixed as it did not come off... so crazy especially now because of the weight of the buds... now she looks even more beautiful... I think she is the most challenging grow ever. Original Sensible Seeds genetics is unique really high quality just look at them. Royal Queen Seeds as well but this is my second grow from them my first was a Green Gelato which is the same calm littlw bushy plant. Amazing very good for newbies ;) I am going on holiday again and back on 28th of December so after harvest starts. Girls will be cut after. The 7th weeks starts with tomorrow 16th of December.... Only flushing and no more nutritient will be used. Soon full report comes. Lamp is the same 11 hours on and 13 off.... The last 4 days they will get 4 days darkness and only ventilation will be working no even more water ;)

coming along nicely, this one did not like the low temps. I found 1 bud with some rot on it, cut that out. NO PWM thanks to the foliar sprays of Si. Buds did not grow much from last week to this one due to cold temps. This is an indoor strain here or its going to need to be crossed with something that likes the cooler fall temps.

10/2 They made it to their forever pots. Next Saturday we'll be hitting 2 months from sprout and as a whole its been a pleasure to grow these plants. They all are a very healthy green and seem to be happy. Temperatures in the region may have unexpectedly slowed them down (I grow in a basement) because temps have plummeted from around 78 with the lights on to as low as 71! I don't think they like it either. Growth has slowed with it. Never fear, space heater is here. Everything thing needs to be dialed in for the next few weeks because I want explosive growth over the next 21 days. Going to try a SST somewhere in there. Parsing through all this bro science isn't easy but it sure is fun to experiment. It allegedly gives you good root growth and provides crucial enzymes. Almost sounds too good to be true but I'm going to see how it goes regardless. I heard you can use I wide variety of seeds but alpha alpha is the only one I have on hand. Wish me luck. As for the plants: Moby= beast. I'd be a fool not to attempt to clone her. Vigorous grower and responds well to training. Not a demanding eater either, at least so far. Loving this freebie from NASC. Highly recommend them if you're in the northeast US looking for a local seed bank. GZ 1 = steady. Probably the biggest back slide if you want to call it that. Spotted some yellowing on lower leaves but they are shaded by this ones thick canopy. May not even be an issue but we keep an eye on it. Probably the biggest critic of the lowering temperatures because she's slowed down in the past 2 days. Gz2= trooper. She had a rougher upbringing and she's got a far different shape than the other two because of it. But with a little work I'm sure soon both GZ will be indistinguishable from one another. Banana daddy= forgot to take pics of her. Man have I been growing autoflowers all wrong. I may have fed this plant once. Though it should be noted that the soil I put her in was amended with alpha alpha, fish bone meal, and guano. She seems to really enjoy it so far. Not a single yellow leaf. Droopy at times though which is odd. Also some tacoing on new growth that ends up correcting itself as the leaf gets bigger. Double odd. Next time I do an auto run I'm definitely doing much less in terms of feeding and maintenance. Loving your plants too much can be deadly. Starting to figure them out though so I'm happy I did at least one. I'll post in a few days when I water my photos again.

Este post es el de cosecha, pero voy a hacer el Harvest cuando tenga procesadas las fotos de cogollos secos y haya hecho una buena cata. Estas dos mangos fueron preciosas de cultivar. Cogieron un tono azulado y algunos petalos se volvieron de un color rosa muy fuerte. No fue dificil de cultivar aunque la empezara en octubre, tuvo la visita de algunas orugas pero no causaron casi ningun daño. -Empecé el cultivo en octubre, lo que hizo que mis plantas no llegaran a la altura deseada, no tubieron todo el sol que necesitavan y se espigaron. Les hice un corte FIM a una planta y apical a la otra, lo cual hizo que las puntas desarrollaran una forma curiosa. This post is the harvest one, but I'm going to do the Harvest week when I have processed all the photos of dried buds and made a good tasting. -These mangos are amazingly gorgeous. They took a bluish tone and some petals turned a very strong pink color. It was not difficult to grow considering that I planted it a little late, I only had the visit of some caterpillars. There are some pics of one of them. -I started cultivation in October, which caused my plants not to reach the desired height, they did not have all the sun they needed and they sprouted. I made a FIM cut to one plant and apical to the other, which caused the tips to develop a curious shape. Thanks to you all for the support!

Holaa, 6ta semana y ya vamos superando los problemas de temperatura. Recibí la manta calefactora y la temperatura con el led apagado subió a 16-17ºC, es un gran avance con respecto a los 13-14ºC que alcanzaba. Los esquejes van avanzando bien, el esqueje con la poda apical va desarrollando los tallos del centro y esta tomando una buena forma. El esqueje con LST esta tomando más fuerza en sus tallos principales y se vuelve más frondosa. Empece a regar agua con EC casi nula y no eh podido agregar los nutrientes básicos para llegar a un EC base de 0.4. Por esto es que creo que los esquejes están presentando una deficiencia de calcio para esto estoy a la espera del producto SENSI CAL-MAG XTRA de Advanced Nutrients con este voy a corregir la EC base del agua de riego y aplicare una fertilización foliar para las carencias presentes. Espero que los resultados sean los esperados. A los esquejes los acompaña la Negra 44 que tiene un diario aparte y un palto(aguacate). Cualquier recomendación sera bien recibida!!

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Started traing rhis week and This little girl is stunted, i believe from the soil i re-used, I'm a bit late in training her but better late then never hey hehe. Might get rid of GSC and just make more room for Trainwreck and G13 to spread. Going to do heavy defoliation for the first time tomorrow stripping everything underneath 2nd scrog and in between bud sites. Nervous it's going to really shock the plants but hopefully a handwatered feeding tomorrow helps keep it on track. Week Three of Flower... Baby Jesus, please give me the energy to continue watering twice a day for the next six weeks 🙏 Day 60 Update: Still some trimming to go but finally pulled the cord on GSC. Wish I had a while ago so the other plants could stretch more proper. Placed a riser under the Banana to even out the height. Going to tie down any tall sites and see if I can trigger a nice long cola down the scrog. G13 already has one forming nicely. If it withstands all that trimming with little to no shock, I will be impressed for sure.

I've figured out my lights have been up a bit high, and the plants didn't seem to like it. They've been turned down the past week and all of the plants have responded well. The Bruce Banner stacked A LOT in the 4 inches because of the lights, so I clipped a few leafs to get some light to some of the under branches. Hopefully I can make use of them and they'll grow up quick.

This week I decided to start feeding her some nutes. She went through some serious lollipopping aswell 😳..😆!! So she basically received a bloom booster ( 1: 12:12 ), I also added some potassium booster ( 0:0:35 ). I think she loves her nutes alot! She gave me a good stretch and formed much more bud sites which has me all excited 😊..

Welcome to week 7 of my White Truffle grow! I switched to flowering 5 days ago, 12/12 light cycle. No signs of pistils yet, it's growing nicely, but no crazy stretching. Since this is my first grow with photos, I'm really excited to see how the week goes ✌️ Update: First pistils showing up after 9days of switching to 12/12.
