Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos 3 weeks of Flowering Completed 19th March 2020 Hi folks , I hope everybody is keeping safe and well during these trying times. 😷 The Ginger Nut cookie plant might end up needing a new name because she smells like pineapples and other fruitiness. 😛 All of the buds are starting to fatten nicely and have a generous amount of resin being produced. The rainy weather is back but this time instead of it being humid , it is getting cold especially at night. None of this seems to be having any detrimental effects on her but to be safe I put the pot under cover when it's raining. Ph is stable @ 6.4 Soil temp has dropped a little to 18 degrees. **** Now For this weeks Aussie music Video ** Last week I chose Cold Chisel and for this weeks Artist I have chosen Jimmy Barnes , who after leaving Cold chisel began a solo career here in australia. This strain smells like fresh oranges, it’s really high in terps. Yielded 5 oz dry off one plant and 4 oz dry off the other. Very happy with yield and quality. Excellent daytime smoke or in larger doses even works at night. Presses into some delicious rosin! Once again I’m very happy with Barney’s Farm!

These girls have become part of our favourites list and we are already discussing the next round for this strain! As you can see one of them has powdery mildew and will most definitely need a wash. This is also the one that had the issue with the rust a while back and her colours have not changed like the other two. Her buds are still beautifully formed and smell delicious, so the issues for the week are obvious, but they could be much worse.

Its starting to flower

The girls just keep on cooking...and things are starting to get really bushy. I'm hoping that we're close to finished on the vertical growth front. Chem Brûlée just keeps getting bigger and bigger, but she seems to be spreading OUT faster than she is growing UP at this point (she's already 56" call). Pineapple Meatball is just a straight up bush. French Macaron is 62" tall and VERY thick on the vegetation front, but not as WIDE as the chem brûlée. 7/13 Sprayed with light neem/castille spray

1 Strain, same breeder, same tent and conditions but 3 different agendas. Molly is just over 42”, Meredith is 30” and Marissa only 16”. I think Molly’s stretch is over and the other 2 have a ways to go. This week I defoliated all 3 again to open up the bases and thin the canopies a little. I’m no expert but I’m learning and the ladies are looking great. Added some more coco to make up for the sinking and while I’ve been trying to keep this as simple as possible just using Advanced Nutrients and CalMag, after doing lots of reading I ordered some Big Bud for Coco and will be starting that when it arrives. Haven’t run the humidifier this week at all or the dehumidifier. Just letting it stay 45-55 on its own. Figured out how to gain almost 6” in the tent without sacrificing ventilation so got Molly back under the light fully, then she grew another 6” out of spite…lol. Great week! I love opening the tent and having the humidity and smell hit me in the face.

We definitely had the lesson of over waterring, too much love seems like. But think we recovered and on the right track. Waterring every 2 days now, when moist deeper but closer to 50% dry. Started adding maybe 1/4 dose of grow nutrients, think will include the rest of the Trio this week starting at perhaps 1/4 rate? Plan is to move to 1 gal fabric pots when they are a bit bigger in a week or two hopefully.

They're all very healthy looking, one has some slight yellowing which should disappear soon with our change but all plants are extremely small for their size.. we've been letting these dry out completely between watering so I'm convinced there's a genetic component to this. We've had a few other strains start extra slow for us in the past and one in particular that started slow and then took off like wildfire around week 5 so I'm not too concerned ..they're each using 3gal square (plastic) pots willed with fresh Promix-HP..they're getting a little bit of Big Bloom with smaller amounts of Grow Big with every other watering now and this has corrected the odd hue we noticed around wk3.. 2/26: Harvested both Black Jacks and both Gorilla Girls tonight. They got a rough live trim, then chopped, washed, and hung to drip dry. Big, heavy, frosty buds on all 4 of them!👍 3/2: Still drying in the closet...amazing aromas!

Fast Buds Run ! Light at 75% intensity, will start increasing light intensity slowly by the end of the week. 17/04/24 - 4L RO Water with nutes per plant. 20/04/24 - 4L RO Water wit nutes per plant. Notes - 16/04/24 - Blueberry Auto was bent a little bit too much the day before. Checked grow tent on the 16th and found that the plant was broken and hanging on a thread. Couple of days later and the plant looks like its recovering well. 19/04/24 - Used some LST clips to try and even out the canopy as much as i can. 20/04/24 - Will be on holiday the next few days so no pictures will be available next week until 24/04/24
