Buds are not as big as I'd hoped going into the 6th week of flowering. Not sure if it's got anything to do with it, but it's been quite warm this week. It's cooling down next few days so hopefully can get the temp back down below 30c with the lights on. A couple more of the lower leaves have yellowed and dropped off, and now there's a clear canopy area between the leaves at the base of the colas and medium, which should help with airflow. There's been no noticeable vertical growth beyond colas getting taller so I've dialed the biogrow back a bit more, and will probably stop using it all together from next week onwards.

Week 3 for the solo is officially complete. She's been growing with no trouble. Root development has been excellent. As you can see, I decided to mainline. Seeing as she's in a solo cup, I'm not too worried about stunting. I'm horrible at measuring the water intake, but the cup needs to be watered daily. It's as lite as a feather everyday.

Since the video, I changed from a drip method to a flow. Creating better circulation and less stoppage due to build up.

I SOAKED THE SEEDS IN A CUP OF WATER, WITH A DASH OF HYDROGEN PEROXIDE, FOR 24 HRS. I THEN DUMPED THEM ON A PLATE BETWEEN PAPERTOWLS, AND ANOTHER PLATE(NOT TOO SOAKED-MAKE ROOM FOR AIR) UNDERNEATH I PLACED A HEATING PAD UNDER THE PLATE, FOR 24 HRS, TIIL THEY POP AND ROOT TAIL IS QUARTER TO HALF AN INCH FROM THERE I PLACED THEM IN PRE-SOAKED JIFFY PELLETS, AND PLACED THEM IN A GERMINATION KIT/WITH LID DOME. I DEFINETLY MESSED UP BY KEEPING THEM TOO MOIST. AND HAD TO TREAT THEM WITH A HYDROGEN PEROXIDE(3%)DELUTED WITH WATER, UNDER AND TOPPED. THEY ARE 10 DAYS NOW, I BEEN TRYNA HARDEN THEM OFF, PLAN ON TRASNFERING THEM TO THE SYSTEM. WISH ME LUCK

Blueberry Headband Grow Week 04 Flower Feb 29 In a state of transition. Started using 'Hygrozyme'. An enzyme that will supposedly keep my roots clean and root rot at bay. Wasn't quite the case. PH went up 10 fold and brown slime reappeared. Rinsed the roots, added more Hygrozyme and a dose of Tarantula tea. 24 hours later, PH is up the same. No sign of rot. RePHed and all is ok. Plants aren't blinking. Aroma is strong. Trichromes appeared last week and are everywhere, now! Little bundles of calyxes are all excited to pop out this coming week! Think this will be a 'beginners luck' grow. Trying to be diligent. *** RESULTS ARE IN *** Final results are in! Updated with pics of dry-trim and weigh-in :) Total yield was 228g of bud + 45g trim to be used for tincture. Total weight 273g / 9.75oz This was way beyond what I was expecting! Was hoping to get around 6oz from this grow, so the final result has absolutely blown my mind. But more importantly, it's a !!REALLY!! good smoke :) I've taken half oz off the top and put the rest into mason jars for curing, but even without a cure, the taste is good - sweet and creamy. The smell has come on LOTS through the drying process. When I chopped, the smell was fragrant, but not too strong. Now, you can smell it across the house and no mistake. It packs a punch too, very potent high - Can't wait to share with a few friends :) ********** Well, this has been an awesome experience for my first grow. Thankfully, these girls were super strong - they took a LOT of abuse in terms of high temps (up to 38C some days) and survived me being an idiot in the early days and not really knowing what I was doing. But here we are! Almost didn't want to chop them down..... but I got over that pretty quick. Total wet weight from both was 1339g (47.8 oz), of which about 150g is popcorn / larf. Super impressed with the yield :) My aim is to be self sufficient, in terms of yield being able to last long enough for another grow cycle to complete. With a rough estimate of 3 months per cycle, and based on my current usage of approx half oz a week, I would need this to result in about 6oz when dried, and I think this could be achievable. I will update the dry weight in due course. Can't speak to the quality yet. As tempting as it is to quick dry a test nug for a cheeky toke, I'll wait for it to dry properly, so I can really appreciate it. I've waited this long to harvest, another couple of weeks won't kill me. Also, I still have some of my current stash (hopefully the last weed I'll ever have to buy!). It's really difficult to be patient though, because DAMN it looks good. I'll give the buds a good manicure and dry trim when they're ready. It smells really good too! The smell is not overly powerful, it doesn't slap you in the face like some weed does, but it's delicious! Fresh, bursting oranges, with just an undertone of that unmistakable weed smell......It's like The Man from Del Monte is stood behind you in a queue, and he has an eighth of dank in his pocket that he doesn't think anyone else can smell. If I had to say I've learned anything along this journey, it's that it's better to be prepared. Research things that COULD happen and have necessary stuff on hand when you need it. Don't wait until that deficiency shows before ordering what you need and finding out it'll take 2 weeks to ship (fuck you, covid-19). And there we have it.... will report back once dried for the final weigh-in and smoke report. Stay safe, stay high :)

Harvest Report: The Swift Journey of Blackberry Auto Greetings, fellow cultivators! The moment we've all been eagerly awaiting has arrived – the harvest of my Blackberry Auto. This beauty has moved through her life cycle with astonishing speed and grace. Let's take a moment to reflect on her incredible journey from seed to harvest and celebrate the fruits of our labor. Seed to Sprout: It feels like just yesterday when I planted the tiny seed of Blackberry Auto. Nestled in a Root Riot cube, she sprouted with vigor, her first delicate leaves reaching for the light. The conditions were perfect, with temperatures at a steady 28°C and relative humidity at 95%, creating an ideal environment for her early growth. Transplanting and Early Growth: As she transitioned to a small pot filled with rich soil and Mycor Mix, Blackberry Auto continued to thrive. The Mycor Mix, with its blend of various mycorrhizae species, worked wonders in enlarging her root system and facilitating nutrient uptake. Her early growth was nothing short of spectacular, setting the stage for the robust plant she would become. Rapid Vegetative Phase: Blackberry Auto quickly outgrew her initial pot and was soon transplanted into her final home – a 16L AutoPot. This setup allowed her to drink as she pleased, supported by the precise hydration of the AutoPot Aquavalve. With a foundation of Aptus All-in-One Pellets and Mycor Mix Soil, she had everything she needed for explosive growth. Her leaves grew enormous and lush, and her branches spread wide with gentle low-stress training. Swift Flowering and Stunning Development: Entering the flowering phase, Blackberry Auto didn't slow down. Her buds formed quickly, each one a masterpiece of nature. The colors were a sight to behold – deep purples, vibrant magentas, and hints of dark blue. The aromatic symphony filled the grow room, a testament to her potent genetics and the meticulous care provided. Natural Brilliance and Final Weeks: Observing her rapid progress, I ceased all feedings to let Blackberry Auto showcase her natural brilliance. Her final weeks were marked by a dazzling display of colors and an incredible pace of bud development. Each day brought new marvels, as her buds swelled and her trichomes sparkled like a constellation. A Heartfelt Reflection: From the moment she sprouted to her final days of flowering, Blackberry Auto has been a true wonder. Her speed and beauty have exceeded all expectations, and it's hard to believe how quickly she reached this point. This journey has been a testament to the magic of cultivation and the resilience of a well-bred strain. Acknowledgments and Gratitude: As we celebrate this harvest, I extend my deepest gratitude to @fastbuds_official for creating such a remarkable strain. To Aptus Holland, my main sponsor, your support has been invaluable in nurturing this beauty. A special thank you to Grow Diaries for providing a platform to share this journey, and to the community for your shared passion and camaraderie. 🌱💚 As we move forward, I eagerly anticipate the trim and smoke reports, where we'll dive into the sensory delights of Blackberry Auto. For now, let's revel in the joy of a successful harvest and the extraordinary journey that brought us here. Genetics Blackberry Auto @Fast_Buds Food - @aptusholland @aptus_world As always thank you all for stopping by, for the love and for it all , this journey of mine wold just not be the same without you guys, the love and support is very much appreciated and i fell honored and blessed with you all in my life

Week 3ish Update Two weeks have passed since my last update, and I have to say—it’s been an interesting ride. We’re now in week three for both the OG Kush and Gorilla Skittles plants, and there’s already a noticeable difference between the two. I’m not entirely sure if it’s due to the fact that OG Kush is an indica strain and Gorilla Skittles is a hybrid sativa, or if the OG Kush has been a bit stunted in its growth. Either way, both are holding up fairly well. Feeling like the OG Kush needed a bit of encouragement, I decided to top it and follow up with some low-stress training (LST). Growth is decent, but for being nearly three weeks in, it’s still on the smaller side. I’m curious to see how it responds in the next week or two. Gorilla Skittles, on the other hand, looks fantastic. It’s also at the beginning of week three, and I’ve applied some LST without topping it—I want to see how it performs naturally with minimal intervention. Both plants experienced a bit of nutrient burn or light burn or something lol early on, but after adjusting the pH of the water, all new growth looks healthy and vibrant. Thankfully, the issue didn’t spread. I'm growing organically using a mix of bush doctors coco coir and fox farms ocean forest so just watering only when dry, and supplementing with Cal-Mag as needed. In addition to these two, I now have three younger plants that all sprouted about 10 days ago (on the 15th and 16th of this month). Moon Beam: This strain came from a cracked seed I received from Multiverse Beans. They told me to go ahead and plant it, and so far, it's doing great. I’m really excited to see how this one turns out. AK: This one is a bit smaller—similar in size and growth pattern to the OG Kush. I'm thinking the genetics play a role here, possibly an indica-dominant strain. Curious to see its development. Super Lemon Haze: Also looking strong and healthy. All three of these new additions are already showing faster growth compared to OG Kush at the same age. I’ve been carefully monitoring VPD, pH levels, and watching for pests like fungus gnats and fruit flies. I’m using sticky traps, mosquito bits, and neem oil to keep things under control, which has been effective so far. This being my first grow, I’ve learned a ton already from working with the older plants—OG Kush and Gorilla Skittles—and I’m now applying those lessons to the newer ones. I’ll admit, having five plants with different genetics might be a bit ambitious for a beginner, but I’d rather learn through hands-on trial and error than just watching videos. Again I don’t know what I’m doing however Right now, I’m feeling excited and proud. Everything is looking good—better than I expected, honestly. I can’t wait to share more updates in the coming weeks as these plants continue to develop.

Day 56 Happy 8 weeks, Fiona! Still the easy going plant everyone wishes for :) I am pretty sure I can see first signs of flower. So one week after switching to 12-12, we are in (very) early flowering. Day 58 Well, I am running out of space 😅 My Scrog-Screen is bursting and I am really happy I have been using it because this Green Princess Fiona is BIG in every aspect (I guess this is what a long veg does with them 😍). From now on, I‘ll only use LST to adjust height differences but no more Scrogging. I‘ll defoliate her soon (probably towards the end of the week). Day 61 Decided to make perfect use of home office and defoliated Fiona. Also fed her 2.5l with half the recommended dose of nutes. Day 62 She looks happy! Doesn‘t seem to care about the leaves she lost yesterday. I‘ll give her another day rest before one final round of LST tomorrow 👑

Thought I would have harvested already, but from the little I'm able to see, there still aren't really many, if any amber colored thc crystals, so I might wait some more days. The second plant remains 1 week or so behind but might soon catch up and they could come down at the same time. Still only flushing with water, some leafs are starting to curl and dry off. I'm just a bit paranoid that it is time to cut, I'm just not seeing the amber color because the camera can't pick it up. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I did a heavy defoliation with the green crack for the first time.. the first 3 pics are pre- and the last 3 pics are post-defoliation. Definitely better air flow now as well as more "tops" being seen. Tomorrow going to do the durban.. update w more pics then.

Really easy strain, grew super well despite my battling to balance the ph, changing of lights and a massive temperature/humidity spike. Looks good and smells strong. Looking forward to the next grow.
