Hello world, 🇬🇷 the previous week was a small disaster...Michelle, the girl who was in flower for 5 weeks is dead...just like that...it begun as rust on the leaves,like a cal deficiency and in 3 days it spread everywhere...the temps were too high for her,35°-38° C...Damn it's too hot for the plants...the other two girls are struggling with the heat but they seem to be OK,although they have some strange spots on some leaves...have to top dress with Bio Grow this week... the truth is I am a bit worried about them because that kind of temps can kill them...so I go on with them...have a nice week...☠️ ====================================== WEEK11:"SAD BAT TRUE" ☠️Day 74.. Start of flushing for the blueberries, both blueberry plants have very heavy, sticky, stank buds, I'm looking forward to harvesting these beauties! Start of the last week of nutes for the super lemon haze, she has packed in the weight, buds have filled out nicely and stickier than the blueberries. She's still hungrier than the Blueberries, taking an extra 2 liters of feed each week. If the trichomes are showing cloudiness by day 5 of this week, I'll flush her early.

So I believe the plants are coming to an end within a couple of weeks. I took everything off the timer and am now running 24/0 light schedule. I want to make the most out of what light is available. The plants need it. My tent is underpowered in that department, so increasing the duration of the light is all I can realistically do. Hopefully, it will help. The buds have been developing nicely. They are incredibly FROSTY 😍 so to keep the progress going, I have been sticking with the sea kelp for the potassium. Occasionally adding phosphorus with the bud explosion PK Booster. With much smaller doses in comparison, each time. There are definitely signs of nitrogen excess, with the clawing on many leaves. There are also extremely purple stems on the leaves. As I don't know what the seed was, I can't tell whether it is normal for the strain it is, or a nutrient issue, light stress, etc. (If you have any ideas, I'd appreciate them!) This one was planted in coco, perlite, and worm castings. Due to this being practically the first time I've used this mix without adding the peat based "light mix". I had not realised how quickly the pots will dry out, especially during the high water consumption of the flowering stage. I realise that I need to be treating it as pure coco. This can be fantastic, for example, if you have just one pot/plant and can provide all the waterings and monitoring continually and regularly. This tends to make you use more nutrients than necessary, as personally I find it difficult to use just plain water. I think many of us still can't help the feeling that we should be adding things to every watering. Therefore, when the frequency of the waterings increases, we are still adding nutrients EVERY time. Which is an overall increase in nutrients, too. For my part, I'm cutting the amount of nutrients per watering. I feel like nutrients are a bit of a crutch to growers. I'm still getting used to the coco and the waterings, but I am really enjoying it. If you don't check your plants multiple times a day, it may not be the best choice of substrate. For me, I'd much rather the pots dry quickly because it reduces the chances of mould and mildew, which I'm always concerned about. 30.5.25: I watered with 4L of plain dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.1. Week has had ups and downs🙃 Plants seem to be growing fine 🙂 But there is yellowing and spotting still that I cannot resolve.🙄 Day 22- Still having some kind of deficiency/issue. They are growing well, don't really seem to be stunted. I think I may have burnt them with nutes.🤧 Flushing may help. 🤷‍♂️😅 Run-off pH is at 6.08, PPM 266 I have flushed them, lowered feeding... I'm driving myself crazy. Hahaha Update 119 Day 23- Things are looking better. 10/19: I fed today. Only one plant has any signs of deficiency..an Orange Sherbet that needs more Mg than everybody else. Serious stink now! Wow..gonna have to order another carbon filter.. I shot a little video of the soil remediation amendments I'm using these days. This will be the first time I use the Coast of Maine Lobster Compost. I usually use a different brand with added biochar and mycorrhizae, but I wanted to see what all the fuss is about the efficacy of lobster compost. Recipe: About 50 gallons of soil, previously flushed with TPS Liquidsoil to re-establish the microbial population. 1 cu ft - Coast of Maine lobster compost 15 lbs - Earthworm castings 4.5 lbs - Microgrow granular inoculant 4 lbs - Bokashi 4 lbs - Dr Earth Veggie, Tomato, and Herb organic fertilizer 2 lbs. - Nectar for the Gods - One Shot granular fertilizer 2 lbs - granular humic acid plus molasses 1/2 lb - texas greensand 1/2 lb - azomite 1/2 lb - dolomite 10/20: Halle Berry(Blackberry A) is getting soooo fat..maybe 20" in circumference! I spotted another couple of nanners on the Strawberry Pie and decided to leave them to do their thing..might be some very interesting hybrids as a result. It occurs to me that it's almost time to start germinating the next batch of beans...👍 10/23: Fed them and rotated the edge plants. Switched to Cha Ching. 10/24: Halle Berry is foxtailing a bit ever since I upped the wattage in the tiny tent. She's fading nicely..I'll probably flush her towards the end of next week. I started germinating the next batch of beans today, so I'm gonna need these bitches to hurry the fuck up now.. 10/26: Fed them and rearranged a little bit. New Irrigation System – Mars Hydro Foldable Bucket Drip Kit This week, we also welcomed a new tool into the grow room: the Mars Hydro Drip Irrigation Kit (link here). 👉 Important note: I’m not running it on automation or timers. I will manually control it, plugging it in and off when watering. This way, I get the benefit of precise, even distribution, while keeping full hands-on control. What it is: • A bucket-based drip system that distributes water (or nutrient solution) evenly to multiple pots through adjustable drip emitters. • A way to reduce manual hand-pouring and ensure more consistent soil hydration. • A tool that can save root systems from “wet/dry pockets” that sometimes happen with hand-watering. What it is NOT: • It’s not fully automated irrigation (unless connected to timers or sensors). • It doesn’t make plant care “hands-free.” You still have to decide when and how much to water. • It won’t replace observation—plants still speak through their leaves and posture. What to Expect: ✅ More even watering across pots. ✅ Reduced runoff mess if dialed correctly. ✅ Less physical strain compared to hand-watering each plant. ✅ The chance to experiment with “precision irrigation” in future grows. What NOT to Expect (yet): ❌ Fully automated feeding schedules. ❌ Perfect calibration out of the box (it takes a few runs to dial flow rate for each pot). ❌ A substitute for plant observation—eyes on the canopy are still the most important tool. Educational takeaway: Drip systems are bridges between hand-watering and full automation. They give growers consistency without completely removing the grower’s role. For many, this is the sweet spot—technology supporting, not replacing, the human touch. P.S. #2 – Pheno #1 vs. Pheno #2: Different Timelines Another important note this week: the two Mango Kush sisters are not in the exact same stage of flower. • Pheno #1 – More advanced. She is already in full flower mode, pistils bursting, bud sites defined, white hairs everywhere. This is the classic “week 3 flower look.” • Pheno #2 – Slower. She is not yet fully in flower. Why? Because she was germinated later and is effectively running a slightly younger internal clock—closer to 11–13 from seed. 👉 With the 11/13 light schedule (11 hours on, 13 off), Pheno #2 is taking her time to settle into bloom. This is not a problem, it’s genetics and timing. Each seed is unique, and sometimes phenos stagger into flower. What this means for the grow: • Don’t expect both plants to bulk at the same time. • Pheno #1 may finish earlier. • Pheno #2 could become the “late bloomer,” giving us a longer harvest window and potentially different terpene expression. Educational takeaway: Not all phenotypes follow the same timeline, even under identical conditions. One may stretch earlier, another may flower later. So we're in week 3 veg , they've mostly outgrown their mutated leaves now and looking strong.

All round a very good plant to grow , one of them stretched but I lollypopped and topped it late into flower due to outgrowing my tent and she took it well, producing absolutely top quality buds covered in milky thricomes and glistening all over the nuggs. Absolutely frosted. The smell at this point was around 7.8 smelling strong of orange and citrus , the main cola nice and dense, with lots of other colas branching off. Easy strain to grow to this point although I did have a calcium deficiency but it was fairly rectified.

things are still on the go..Looking at the tricomes the are still clear with hints of cloudy.. Coming along pretty well. Im just watering with plain water now and just enough for a light runoff. Ec is low already and I don't think I can get it to anything less. Just doing routine maintenence this week. There has been no change in the colour of the leaves and this is the 11th day of. plain water.. Its all a waiting game.. I also changed the light schedule to a 11-13...... its supposed to help in trichome ripening... I hope. 😀 The vanilla Kush looks ready but I'm not sure. If anyone has an opinion on how much longer please share
