In Week 6 I’m continuing to see a lot of growth so I decided to add a pk boost to see how it would work. Started off really low at 1ml/gal and now I’m at 2.5ml and no sign of burning and seeing a lot of praying. Going to continue slowly raising until about 5ml or ~900ppm. Other than just watering every other day and light defoliation of the lower third and sites that aren’t getting light, this week has been smooth. White hairs are really starting to show up. I’m really hoping these girls bulk up. Until next week happy growing!

Had a lot of fun growing these girls. They went through a lot off the bat due to my inexperience. Learned a lot during this run and it was extremely rewarding to nurse them back to health. I am very pleased with this grow for it being my first run. I had no expectations as I am just starting to learn and want nothing more than to acquire knowledge. The quality and yields will come once I get more dialed in. Once these girls got healthy they had no problems for the whole grow. I am already planning improvements for future systems and am extremely excited to continue on my grow journey. Thanks to all who helped me out.

After 48 hours of darkness, the time had come and the Papaya Cookies were ready for harvest. I decided to dry it in a drying net, because it has grown very densely due to the not so successful training (to reduce the risk of mold). Dry weight and smoke report follow after curing. Stay tuned...

The video is probably the quickest update 😄 My next run; i plan to be less of a Variety King and finally use my SCROG net. The beans I'll be running to scrog are Royal Cookies and El Patron (both RQS), if anyone has any experience with those strains? I'll be running a smaller Apple Fritter and Blue Cheese auto too... hey, I have very discerning terp-buds, ok?!

Puppy Love has been a gassy, citrus, bottle rocket plant. Main cola dominated, topping would be better in future grows. She smells like that smashed orange in a gas station parking lot. Being that i have grown SYC I can see and smell many similarities. Very stout, uniform, and that something unusual in the smells like SYC. She went dark for 48 hours on day 79, chopped Day 81. Hung whole, should dry fast. 3 weeks for weights and smoke reports fellow herbal enthusiasts!

Esta planta estuvo dos semanas en etapa de enraizamiento, tres en crecimiento y ocho semanas en floración. No tuvo ningún problema con nada, me resultó de fácil cultivo. En esta cosecha obtuve ciento cuarenta y siete g en total. Utilice una maceta Root House de 10L. El sustracto que utilice fue de Nube Verde, en su composición se incluye turba de categoría, perlita, humus, compost, tierra, dolomita y vermiculita. Sin duda volvería a probar esta genética otra vez, supero mis expectativas.

Day 42 - Ladies are growing great, some are growing a little faster than others but all in all very happy with this run so far! They seem to have stopped stretching and are now focusing on the buds. Very odd coloration happening on the leaves of the left plant. I'm thinking it's either a calcium deficiency or a manganese deficiency. Either way the buds are developing nicely still. Right is looking great right now, save for a few spider mites I had to squish earlier last week. Nice and frosty at 5th week of flower. If all goes well with both of these girls, I'll be harvesting them at the end of January. I'll definitely give them a bud washing b/c I found mites. Update 1/2/22: okay I've got a few notes to make on the progress as a whole. So after topping right, it seems like she started producing flowering hormones right after. While left focused on stretching for like a week more. Right has fat, compact and frosty buds- shaped like golf balls. Left has spire-shaped buds, not AS dense(still dense though, mind you), and less frost. So I'm thinking left is staggered behind right by about a week. Since this is week 5, we'll be able to tell just how far ahead she is by week 8.

This week has been easy just like any other, how ever i did get one broken branch i did try to fix it but i don't think it will make it

Still spraying with Monterey BT to control the boring moth larvae. Leaned the area and provided the nutes. Watering is on the same schedule and flower production is booming. Next week I will provide video of the nutrient solution application method.

Week 1 Day 5 Flower Hi Everyone 🖐️🏻 Thanks for looking in! I switched to flower 5 days ago and the girls are filling out well each day. I just today drilled a hole in the floor and inserted an iron rod into it which now pulls the net in a lot tighter and has allowed me to start tucking and guiding branches where they can get the best light and fill the net. I have supported this with a bit of defoliation to get light to those lower branches and get them pushing growth towards the canopy. As the next two weeks progress I will continue to defoliate and even remove some lower branches which aren't likely to benefit the canopy and in fact deprive the canopy of some energy. The roots are looking good rapidly colonizing the tubs, I've had to return them to the trays from the reservoir below several times which is a headache I'm happy to have😂 I may have flipped too early and aren't likely to fill the area but it should still be a heavy crop and if rather have a manageable grow than a jungle. If it proves way off then next time I grow the same strain using the same method I'll add another week to the veg. Without a doubt the best bud I‘ve ever grown! I have nothing but positive things to say about the genetics of this plant. This was my first mephisto grow so very impressed. Buds are sticky and dense after weeks of 90-100 degree weather. No signs of stress or slowing. The plants tackled every hint of def or toxicity with ease. Got a little less yield than I expected, but not complaining as quality is incredible!! Buds dryed for 6 days and cured for 7 as of review. Very dense and sticky. Yielded 5oz dry A-bud, 2oz dry fluff, and 15oz of wet trim. Pressed the fluff with a 11% yield. Rosin is budder-like and smooth. EDIT: Later edited on aug 17 to provide cure update. —-smoke report—- The finished cured bud reeks intensely of diesel, raspberry, and hash! The smoke itself is light on the lungs and heavy in texture. Smoke hints at flavors of raspberry and caramel with sweet notes. High produces strong headband and couchlock effect. Potency is high without a doubt. Smoking a few under 30 day cured bowls produces a high for a solid 3-6 hours even at a high tolerance level. As of mid-august, the cure is complete and stone has intensified. Feels waaay more indica this time. Fully cured bud can knock a seasoned stoner the fuck out. Blew my expectations out of the water This was my first mephisto grow and it made me a diehard fan. Can‘t wait to grow more later in the year!
