Week 02 Introduction
This week has been a bit of a struggle. Had my first experience dealing with slime and brown algae. But I think adding enzymes and increasing the beneficial bacteria helped to fix the issue. Also experienced nutrient burn for the first time. My nutrient solution strength got as high as 671 PPMs. So backed it down to about 430 PPMs during the end-of-week reservoir change. Also cut Hydroguard (expired?), CaliMagic, and Superthrive from this grow. Now she's still stunted, but is starting to recover. Hopefully...

Day 01 - Monday - 08/10/20 - Total Days: 008

--- Even the new leaves are really yellow.
--- Decided to add more base nutes.
--- Added 4ml of Sensi A

--- Also raised the water level a bit more.
--- I really hope it's a nutrient deficiency and not an over-watering issue.

Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/11/20 - Total Days: 009

--- Decided to do a reservoir change.
--- 4.5gal of distilled water
--- 8ml of Sensi Grow A

--- 8ml of Voodoo Juice

--- 4ml of Hydroguard
--- 4 drops of Superthrive
--- PH'd down to 5.8
--- Solution strength: 302 PPM
--- Since I didn't want to risk over-watering the rockwool, I did not to do a top feed, may do one tonight after the sleep cycle (lights are still set to go off at 10am and back on at 4pm).
--- As I was doing a reservoir change, I noticed that the tubes and bucket were a bit slimy. Didn't really stink or anything. Is this normal? Maybe due to the Hydroguard and Voodoo Juice?
--- I hope she gets better soon!
- [2215]: Getting larger! But still yellow.
--- Also can see a root growing through the net pot! Tiny little thing but it's there! Will have to start dropping water once more appear.
--- After looking over a few DWC diaries using AN nutes, seems like my solution strength is still too low. Most around this stage average around 500 PPMs with about 4ml per gallon.
--- Top fed for a minute to wet the top of the hydroton.
--- Solution strength went down to 263 PPM.
--- Added 8ml more of Sensi A
--- Added 8ml more of Sensi B
--- Now base nutes are at 16ml for 4.5 gal of water.
--- PPMs went up to 411.
--- Still lower than 500 PPMs, but that's okay.
--- PH was at 6. Not sure if I should adjust PH using AN nutes. So going to not ajdust unless PH goes above 6.1.
Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/12/20 - Total Days: 010

--- She still looks yellow. But leaves are perky.
--- PH was at 6.2 so lowered down to 5.8.
--- Solution strength was at 394 PPMs
--- Since roots are still growing, I decide to lower the water level a bit. Now water level is a bit below the net pot.
- [2200]: Root is getting longer!
--- Slime is returning. Not sure why.
--- Solution strength: 357 PPMs
--- PH: 6.1
--- Decided to add an enzyme along with more beneficial bacteria to hopefully cure the slime.
--- Added 16ml of Sensizym
--- Added 5ml of Hydroguard
--- Added 8ml of Voodoo Juice
--- New solution strength: 430 PPMs
--- New PH: 6.1
--- Top fed for a minute.
--- This slimy residue is really freaking me out! I hope the added enzymes will help eliminate the slime.
--- Going to do a full reservoir sterilization/nutrient change over the weekend. Please survive until then girl!
Day 04 - Thursday - 08/13/20 - Total Days: 011

- [0930]: I think the enzymes worked! There is little to no slime now!
--- Although I think the root was also dissolved in the process. It's now just a little stub sticking just below the net pot. The enzyme is also suppose to dissolved dead roots too but guess that root was too weak? Not sure what happened there. But I think the slime is cured!
--- Solution strength went down to 395 PPMs. Decided to add more base nutrients.
--- Added 8ml of Sensi A
--- Added 8ml of Sensi B
--- Added 4ml of B-52
--- Solution strength went up to 598 PPMs.
--- PH was at 6.1
--- As long as the PH is between 5.5 and 6.3, I'm not going to use PH Up or Down. But still will monitor PH levels.
- [1715]: Checked up on her after her nap and shes looking alive but stunted. But no slime!
--- Decided to add some sugars to help maintain the enzymes and beneficial bacteria.
--- Solution strength was at 587 PPMs.
--- PH was at 6.2
--- Added 8ml of Bud Candy
--- Solution strength went up to 671 PPMs.
--- PH also went up to 6.3
--- Lowered water level a bit to hopefully promote more root growth.
--- Top fed for a minute.
--- She is getting bigger, but still looks yellow.
Day 05 - Friday - 08/14/20 - Total Days: 012

- [0915]: Leaves look a little burnt on the tips. Still no slime.
--- Going to back off on the PPMs to hopefully fix the nutrient toxicity.
--- Solution strength was at 632 PPMs
--- PH was at 6.3
--- Added/Removed water until PPMs were at 536.
--- PH was still at 6.3
--- Raised water up a bit, then top fed for a minute.
- [2200]: Looking better. Still yellow though.
--- Solution strength: 514 PPMs
--- PH: 6.5
--- Added PH down.
--- New solution strength: 518 PPMs
--- New PH: 5.2
--- PH was kind of high. So decided to PH down. Had to use quite a bit to bring it down. But eventually got it to drop down to 5.3. A little low, but so far, the PH has always gone up so wanted to start it really low.
--- Ran the top feed for a minute to re-saturate the top of the hydroton.
Day 06 - Saturday - 08/15/20 - Total Days: 013

- [0830]: She looks stunted. leaves are still yellow.
--- Solution strength: 514 PPMs
--- PH: 5.6
--- Top fed for a minute.
--- Not sure what to do at this point. Going to do another reservoir change soon. Hoping she lives until then.
- [2145]: Looking pretty much the same.
--- A bit of slime has returned. Since I've been diluting the nutrient solution, the enzyme ratio has dropped. So I guess this is expected.
--- Also noticed that slime build up was on the air-stones. Never really checked the stones so not sure how long that has been there. Looks brown too, which can't be good.
--- Going to do an H202 sterilization of the system (minus the net pot) tomorrow so did not add anything.
--- Lowered the water level to below the net pot.
--- Then top fed for a minute.
Day 07 - Sunday - 08/16/20 - Total Days: 014

- [0900]: STERILIZATION DAY!
--- Decided to skip today's night cycle for a deep clean.
--- I'm hoping that skipping a night cycle won't be too stressful.
--- Temporarily moved her to a new bucket.
--- Used about a half of gallon of straight distilled water to flush out the net pot.
--- Drained the system and wiped up all the brown sludge. Also removed the air stones and cleaned up all the goo.
--- Filled the system with 2 gallons of distilled water and at least 30ml of food grade hydrogen peroxide (35% strength).
--- Yea its a lot, but since I'm not going to sterilize the system overnight, I went with a really high doseage. Basically I kept adding until I started to see little bubbles start to form.
--- Then I ran the water pump.
- [0915]: Boiled the air stones in tap water for about 10 min. Then reconnected them to the airlines.
--- I let the air stones and hose soak in the sterilization solution for about 5 minutes so the peroxide can absorb into the stones. Then ran the air stone to help mix and agitate the solution.
--- Occasionally, I'd repeat the process of turning the air pump off for a few minutes to let the stones soak.
- [1000]: Covered the top two row of holes of the net pot with some aluminum tape. Hopefully this solves the light leaking in through the hydroton.
- [1200]: Used an old toothbrush and scrubbed the pump clean. Then drained the system.
--- Refilled with more distilled water and peroxide. Again added a lot.
--- Ran system again to sterilize even more.
- [1530]: Drained the system and refilled with distilled water to rinse.
--- Ran the system for a few minutes, then drained and rinsed again.
--- Did this a few more times over about an hour.
- [1630]: Added 4 gallons of fresh distilled water.
--- Added 15ml Sensi Grow A
--- Added 15ml Sensi Grow B
--- Added 12ml of B-52
--- Added 16ml of Voodoo Juice
--- Added 16ml Sensizym
--- Solution strength was at 430 PPMs
--- PH was at 5.6
--- I was going to add Hydroguard, but I think the bottle is expired. Since 2017 or 2018!? I think Hydroguard is good for up to 2 years from the date on the bottle or 6 months after opening. So not going to use from now on. I wonder if this could have contributed to the slime build up.
--- Also removed the CaliMagic and Superthrive too. Going to only use AN products to eliminate the chance of incompatible nutrients.
--- Placed her back in the bucket and top fed for a minute.
--- Here's hoping for the best. Going to let it ride until morning! Please feel better!

Уже четвёртая неделя от прорастания семечек. Прогресс на лицо. Я планирую выращивать клонов с нижних веток, именно поэтому я сделал дефолиацию на ранней стадии и не стал формировать крону, так как нижние ветки растения будут клонированы. Дефолиация полезна не только тем, что открывает свет боковым веткам, но также огромные листьев не забирают важные гормоны роста. В этот раз не стал добавлять какие-либо удобрения, а пролил обычной водой с пониженным PH. Так же я подключил дополнительное освещенье полный спектр LED по 27W. Теперь я оставлю растение в покое и буду ждать, когда отрастут ветки на клонирование.

To all those who follow me health and good luck, I hope you are safe. It's time to re-update "HiFi 4G" from "Dutch Passion" in the distant genes of which there is Fire OG. It is already the fourth week from the germination of seeds. Progress on the face. I plan to grow clones from the lower branches, which is why I did defoliation at an early stage and did not form a crown, since the lower branches of the plant will be cloned. Defoliation is useful not only because it opens the light to the side branches, but also because the leaves do not take away important growth hormones. This time I did not add any fertilizers, but spilled it with ordinary water with a low PH. I also connected additional lighting with a full range of 27W LED. Now I will leave the plant alone and wait for the branches to grow for cloning.

This grow was so amazing!! The purple punch’s came out super sticky dense nugs, super frosty , an a huge smell of blueberry muffins! Super fun grow along with the Forbiddin Runtz definitely one of the sweetest berry smelling strains of ever grown, highly recommend everyone to try out the purple punch’s, you will be highly satisfied!! Stay tuned for next grow!!

Day 33 Gave her a flush and fresh nutrients. Added a little maxibloom. Switched lights to 12/12. Added a 3rd set of 3000k quantum boards for a total of 860 watts.

Timing seems about right. The current flowering plants are finishing so these will be in flower within two weeks. From all that I've learned this grow (being my first DWC), I plan on carrying on with a combination of organics and synthetics. Along with GHE products below, I'll be using the organics right along side. Mainly for the microbes and fungi.
I plan on keeping my water about 1-2" below the basket with heavier pumps. Will be using the EcoPlus Eco Air 4 Four Outlet air pump divided into 2 buckets/2 air stones and using the 2 Marina 200 Air pumps for clones. That will more than double the airflow to the roots.
When I change the res and even when I transfer over to the larger flower DWC bucket (3 gal - 5 gal) I'll be keeping a litre of the veg solution to add to the fresh new res, thus 'inoculating' it with the already stable microbial and fungal environment that it's been used to. As well, I'll continue with Hygrozyme on a 'maintenance' dosage when changing the res and adding a liter of the microbial and fungal tea listed below as well as a dose of Tarantula from Advanced Nutrients. Adding organic Alaskan veg and bloom fertilizer (some 'Fulvic acid' as well, like seaweed liquid. Plants uptake Fulvic better than Humic. Root fungi eat the Humic and poop out Fulvic!) in 'moderation' to help bring PH back down and feed microbes and fungi. Once the plants start really stacking, I'll add more synthetics to compensate and to lower PH. The organics can really mess with the EC so I'm not going to be freaking about high levels. Found that it didn't effect the plants health that much if at all.

dawgstar is in full flush still not ready just yet buds are huge and heavy the branches have gone weak and started to need support she's started to mature more over the last few days so should be within the next week for the chop scent is very strong but hard to describe not one iv smelt before should be interesting to try once finished not much else to say thanks for reading happy growing guys

We broke big cola on central plant and cried a lot.
Also we continued partial defoliation time to time.
It should be noted that plants began to drink much more, we watered them every three days, but in five to six litres per watering.
Girls showed their gender. Next week we expect all plants to bloom, otherwise we'll have to change the light mode.

Hey guys
Didn't get this up at the weekend sorry but here we go lil peak in the indica garden.
So we've encountered a slight issue what we thought was autos is actually photos so its out a lil pressure on in the garden bit stressfull for me as im not a photo man none other the less I am pushing tru so I no what im doing.
So we've culled 7 gals last week 😪😪 I no I no im prepared for the comments and unfortunately today we have culled another 3 2 of which are on my own organic Ammendments and are genetics issues and the other 1 is on another feed other tha indica I dnt show these pics as this is our indica grow the other pocs get posted in Insta @Space_Gorilla_Grows_Autos .
So we will leave tht there like I say been very stressful..
back to topic the photo gals on indica feed are massive soooo bushy loads of sites due to sell ed defoliateation as I say I would of trained them well avin kown they were photos 📷
but hey they are doing excellent both our cindy 99s and our 🍊 🍦 so ill be taking some cutting gs off for sure 👍
Really happy with how things are going despite the hicups but when you working with the best in the buizz @indica.nutrients what else would you expect take a look at the pics and lil vid ... the vid is only short as we've got another issue the 5x5 pit is nit fit for purpose and so in it has been replaced by the hydro shop they got knto the supplier and they av sent out a more premium version ✌️🙌👊💚🙏

4/30 EVERYONE IS DONE ALREADY!!! ICE-T AND MONETL ARE DONE, LIKE FAST I CANT BELIVE...I WANTED TO KEEP THEM BU THEY ARE AWESOME AND FAST JUST LOVE BROTHERS GRIMM ALL OF THEM ARE JUST MAGIC ... All of them work great in 1 gallon, you can get perfect and a nice amount at lower watts. They are all good for speed, and bud density...just great!
5/2 1:59 PM Ice-T BodyCount combination of Rosetta Stone and purple Urkel my brothers Grimm seeds. She has been a very compact plant and grew very well in a tiny 1 gallon pot. I’ll probably get a couple ounces dry very little effort. I think next time I’ll top keep it in the small container. In a larger container I can’t imagine you know it’s different brothers. Grim seeds are always kind of a very special brand all of them. This one will ruin ice tease your reputation because this is a soft and floral elegant very upscale smell to it and then right after that it smells like grape so it kind of smells very Complicated. Very worth it really holds up well very fast flowering time I mean really these things are as fast as autos. I was kind of surprised so if you need a stealthy home grow and it’s very inexpensive to run 1212 hours so overall I’m gonna give her a 10 out of 10 all grand brother seeds are 10 out of 10. It’s just nice where they are their flowers really kind of have a signature to them. I really like all of them. I’m glad I discovered the brand with trailer Park boys and Montel as well.
5/2 2:03 PM Montels dream widow by Brothers Grimm seeds. She grew some of the most unique flowers I’ve ever seen. She’s 10 out of 10, but I’m gonna give her 11 out of 10 because of the way that she grow so much about 3 1/2 feet tall, maybe 4 feet tall, a little taller than the others but in a 1 gallon I probably got 2 1/2 or 3 ounces dry at least two and they are the most resin covered buds I’ve seen they look like little white tarantulas when they’re reforming the smell is overpowering just the best overpowering smell you could ever imagine. I’m so glad I picked up these seats. I really like this strain. In particular there’s another Montel coming out and this strain is very strong. I didn’t have any problems growing her drying and caring. That’ll be a few days away I don’t really need to cure the stuff. I don’t know what it is with me but once it’s dry, I put it in a Turlock bag and it’s good enough about the Montel’s definitely a winner. I mean absolutely a winner.

5/24 10:39 AM I just got my seeds. They were in the mailbox for almost a month again before I was able to go outside.I haven’t been able to do any updates. I have a pencil eraser size hole in the back of my neck and I ripped it open again getting the mail. I’m in a lot of pain and I’m bleeding and I it’s an open cyst and I can’t believe I’m not dead yet but it’ll be a while before I can update again.

12/25/2023-Germination Day 1
Merry X-mas 2023 I decided to start a run of SolFIre Gardens Hoodz Candyz S1. I am going to do a cup filled with RO water a touch of Hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 24-48 hours until I see tap root then I am going to put it into a rapid rooter.. Tap root Down and put it about 1/4 of the say down the Rapid rooter.
I made some modifications to my basket on this run.. I have taken a few Pods that I use for my cloning machine and decided that I am going to try and use them as sure plants, so that I can take my water right up to the bottom of the basket this time and see if these can make my planting more consistent.

Misted the dome lightly misted the rapid rooter and added a little water to the bottom of the pan to encourage root growth to the pan.

She is up, she has broken surface, I misted the root riot, and around the bottom of the tray to try and entice root growth down rapidly.

This girl is SO FROSTY, unfortunately due to careless mistakes on my part her growth appears to have stunted. Either way I'm very pleased with the phenotypical expression in this plant, definitely good genetics that I will be taking another shot at next grow.

Although the Gelato is the smallest of the bunch it's definitely the fastest flowering. Also I'm trying out a little experiment, if the results are positive I might share more about it in the future..
I've also added an extra Biotab in the OGK and NQ. My theory is that you need more Biotabs than adviced if you train and defoliate your plant a lot. Because you produce more plant material and with defoliation you technically are taking away nutrients of the plant. I've also did this to the Spliff Strawberry (other diary) and it's looking much more green since.

Day 42 - Ladies are growing beautifully & starting to smell extremely strong! The Gorilla Girl is short but very bushy, I think she will have some massive buds but we will see! Thanks for following & happy growing friends!🙏🏼✌️🏼🌱

plants keep impressing me. cannalope is growing some 16 or 17 petals on a leaf after some weird reveg or stress. it flowered early for some reason. might be because of the bennies and the N abundance. after the weird 16 leafed freak is some good looking regular 13 petaled ones. its gonna be legit. maybe I should clone one of the 13 pedals to keep the pheno. the other colas have the regular 7 or 11 petals.
the lemon skunk is flowering nice. I have a feeling its going to be some tasty bud. no mutations or anything weird going on with it. she is looking just fine.

11/22 Day 15 and a new week begins!
Upped the nuets to 7ml/gal each of cocotek AB at 6.0-ish giving TDS of 510 after adjustment for water.
Forgot how tight these plants can be, raised lights 2" to increase inter-node a bit
Up feed to 700ppm adding 1ml ctab
11/25 Transplant into five gal pots
Feed 800ppm 10ml CT A&B 10 ml Kangaroots 5.9PH
11/26 First bend on Annie - Belle will do tomorrow.
They seem to be taking less than two cups feed in those pots to produce enough runoff.
No sign of any deficiencies as yet, liking the CocoTek so far.
11/27 Both trained life seems good :)
11/28 End of week and they look healthy
Continuing training and leaving nuets as is until I get a water filter to drop the TDS on the tap water. Needs to drop about 100ppm before I can add more
