Week 02 Introduction
This week has been a bit of a struggle. Had my first experience dealing with slime and brown algae. But I think adding enzymes and increasing the beneficial bacteria helped to fix the issue. Also experienced nutrient burn for the first time. My nutrient solution strength got as high as 671 PPMs. So backed it down to about 430 PPMs during the end-of-week reservoir change. Also cut Hydroguard (expired?), CaliMagic, and Superthrive from this grow. Now she's still stunted, but is starting to recover. Hopefully...
[START OF WEEK 02]
Day 01 - Monday - 08/10/20 - Total Days: 008

--- Even the new leaves are really yellow.
--- Decided to add more base nutes.
--- Added 4ml of Sensi A

--- Now at about
--- Solution Strength went up to 304 PPM.
--- PH was at 6,
--- Also raised the water level a bit more.
--- I really hope it's a nutrient deficiency and not an over-watering issue.

Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/11/20 - Total Days: 009

--- Decided to do a reservoir change.
--- 4.5gal of distilled water
--- 8ml of Sensi Grow A

--- 8ml of Voodoo Juice

--- 4ml of Hydroguard
--- 4 drops of Superthrive
--- PH'd down to 5.8
--- Solution strength: 302 PPM
--- Since I didn't want to risk over-watering the rockwool, I did not to do a top feed, may do one tonight after the sleep cycle (lights are still set to go off at 10am and back on at 4pm).
--- As I was doing a reservoir change, I noticed that the tubes and bucket were a bit slimy. Didn't really stink or anything. Is this normal? Maybe due to the Hydroguard and Voodoo Juice?
--- I hope she gets better soon!
- [2215]: Getting larger! But still yellow.
--- Also can see a root growing through the net pot! Tiny little thing but it's there! Will have to start dropping water once more appear.
--- After looking over a few DWC diaries using AN nutes, seems like my solution strength is still too low. Most around this stage average around 500 PPMs with about 4ml per gallon.
--- Top fed for a minute to wet the top of the hydroton.
--- Solution strength went down to 263 PPM.
--- Added 8ml more of Sensi A
--- Added 8ml more of Sensi B
--- Now base nutes are at 16ml for 4.5 gal of water.
--- PPMs went up to 411.
--- Still lower than 500 PPMs, but that's okay.
--- PH was at 6. Not sure if I should adjust PH using AN nutes. So going to not ajdust unless PH goes above 6.1.
Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/12/20 - Total Days: 010

--- She still looks yellow. But leaves are perky.
--- PH was at 6.2 so lowered down to 5.8.
--- Solution strength was at 394 PPMs
--- Since roots are still growing, I decide to lower the water level a bit. Now water level is a bit below the net pot.
- [2200]: Root is getting longer!
--- Slime is returning. Not sure why.
--- Solution strength: 357 PPMs
--- PH: 6.1
--- Decided to add an enzyme along with more beneficial bacteria to hopefully cure the slime.
--- Added 16ml of Sensizym
--- Added 5ml of Hydroguard
--- Added 8ml of Voodoo Juice
--- New solution strength: 430 PPMs
--- New PH: 6.1
--- Top fed for a minute.
--- This slimy residue is really freaking me out! I hope the added enzymes will help eliminate the slime.
--- Going to do a full reservoir sterilization/nutrient change over the weekend. Please survive until then girl!
Day 04 - Thursday - 08/13/20 - Total Days: 011

- [0930]: I think the enzymes worked! There is little to no slime now!
--- Although I think the root was also dissolved in the process. It's now just a little stub sticking just below the net pot. The enzyme is also suppose to dissolved dead roots too but guess that root was too weak? Not sure what happened there. But I think the slime is cured!
--- Solution strength went down to 395 PPMs. Decided to add more base nutrients.
--- Added 8ml of Sensi A
--- Added 8ml of Sensi B
--- Added 4ml of B-52
--- Solution strength went up to 598 PPMs.
--- PH was at 6.1
--- As long as the PH is between 5.5 and 6.3, I'm not going to use PH Up or Down. But still will monitor PH levels.
- [1715]: Checked up on her after her nap and shes looking alive but stunted. But no slime!
--- Decided to add some sugars to help maintain the enzymes and beneficial bacteria.
--- Solution strength was at 587 PPMs.
--- PH was at 6.2
--- Added 8ml of Bud Candy
--- Solution strength went up to 671 PPMs.
--- PH also went up to 6.3
--- Lowered water level a bit to hopefully promote more root growth.
--- Top fed for a minute.
--- She is getting bigger, but still looks yellow.
Day 05 - Friday - 08/14/20 - Total Days: 012

- [0915]: Leaves look a little burnt on the tips. Still no slime.
--- Going to back off on the PPMs to hopefully fix the nutrient toxicity.
--- Solution strength was at 632 PPMs
--- PH was at 6.3
--- Added/Removed water until PPMs were at 536.
--- PH was still at 6.3
--- Raised water up a bit, then top fed for a minute.
- [2200]: Looking better. Still yellow though.
--- Solution strength: 514 PPMs
--- PH: 6.5
--- Added PH down.
--- New solution strength: 518 PPMs
--- New PH: 5.2
--- PH was kind of high. So decided to PH down. Had to use quite a bit to bring it down. But eventually got it to drop down to 5.3. A little low, but so far, the PH has always gone up so wanted to start it really low.
--- Ran the top feed for a minute to re-saturate the top of the hydroton.
Day 06 - Saturday - 08/15/20 - Total Days: 013

--- Solution strength: 514 PPMs
--- PH: 5.6
--- Top fed for a minute.
--- Not sure what to do at this point. Going to do another reservoir change soon. Hoping she lives until then.
- [2145]: Looking pretty much the same.
--- A bit of slime has returned. Since I've been diluting the nutrient solution, the enzyme ratio has dropped. So I guess this is expected.
--- Also noticed that slime build up was on the air-stones. Never really checked the stones so not sure how long that has been there. Looks brown too, which can't be good.
--- Going to do an H202 sterilization of the system (minus the net pot) tomorrow so did not add anything.
--- Lowered the water level to below the net pot.
--- Then top fed for a minute.
Day 07 - Sunday - 08/16/20 - Total Days: 014

- [0900]: STERILIZATION DAY!
--- Decided to skip today's night cycle for a deep clean.
--- I'm hoping that skipping a night cycle won't be too stressful.
--- Temporarily moved her to a new bucket.
--- Used about a half of gallon of straight distilled water to flush out the net pot.
--- Drained the system and wiped up all the brown sludge. Also removed the air stones and cleaned up all the goo.
--- Filled the system with 2 gallons of distilled water and at least 30ml of food grade hydrogen peroxide (35% strength).
--- Yea its a lot, but since I'm not going to sterilize the system overnight, I went with a really high doseage. Basically I kept adding until I started to see little bubbles start to form.
--- Then I ran the water pump.
- [0915]: Boiled the air stones in tap water for about 10 min. Then reconnected them to the airlines.
--- I let the air stones and hose soak in the sterilization solution for about 5 minutes so the peroxide can absorb into the stones. Then ran the air stone to help mix and agitate the solution.
--- Occasionally, I'd repeat the process of turning the air pump off for a few minutes to let the stones soak.
- [1000]: Covered the top two row of holes of the net pot with some aluminum tape. Hopefully this solves the light leaking in through the hydroton.
- [1200]: Used an old toothbrush and scrubbed the pump clean. Then drained the system.
--- Refilled with more distilled water and peroxide. Again added a lot.
--- Ran system again to sterilize even more.
- [1530]: Drained the system and refilled with distilled water to rinse.
--- Ran the system for a few minutes, then drained and rinsed again.
--- Did this a few more times over about an hour.
- [1630]: Added 4 gallons of fresh distilled water.
--- Added 15ml Sensi Grow A
--- Added 15ml Sensi Grow B
--- Added 12ml of B-52
--- Added 16ml of Voodoo Juice
--- Added 16ml Sensizym
--- Solution strength was at 430 PPMs
--- PH was at 5.6
--- I was going to add Hydroguard, but I think the bottle is expired. Since 2017 or 2018!? I think Hydroguard is good for up to 2 years from the date on the bottle or 6 months after opening. So not going to use from now on. I wonder if this could have contributed to the slime build up.
--- Also removed the CaliMagic and Superthrive too. Going to only use AN products to eliminate the chance of incompatible nutrients.
--- Placed her back in the bucket and top fed for a minute.
--- Here's hoping for the best. Going to let it ride until morning! Please feel better!

Que pasa familia, vamos con la primera semana de floración de estas Papaya sherbet feminizadas de fastbuds.
Vamos al lío, de las 3 plantas, me quede con 2 por espacio, siempre pongo alguna semilla de más por si no abriese alguna por no perder ese hueco del indoor.
También se trasplantaron a su maceta definitiva, en este caso de 7 litros, que el mismo trasplante provocó un shock, que también fue solucionado inmediatamente.
El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 20/22 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%.

weno :) , corregi algunos errores del cultivo anterior,cambiando tambien el sustrato a organic life light mix que fue una experiencia nueva* , que en conjunto a los tiempos que di pensando que seria un repollo indicon, bien confiao le di un mes y una semana de vegeta que pasaron volando se presento tuve un stretch asi de adolescente por lo que la moraleja que puedo dejar como en el contexto de asegurar una buena vegeta, sin saberlo la estaba vendiendo porque no es aprovechar el espacio, es agregar otro nivel de dificultad y riesgo en este caso fue una buena resolucion pero debo advertirlo xq si me hubiera entrao una plaga en flora estaria mas cagao que calsoncillo de milico ctm), fuera de eso tambien sirve no como referencia general de que es algo que te puede pasar con og kush y sus variantes, como esta , y tambien algo que tiene algo de rudelaris para acortar su floracion , al respecto , que 8 de 9 hayan dado diferente tipo de frutas, algunas de hermosa calidad.
cultivar ahi es rapido, y se seca muy rapido en verano ctm , pero es un buen sustrato al menos pa germinar y primeras semanas de vegeta rinde, despues muestra carencia muy rapido pero tomenlo como algo bueno, vienen muy acomedidas - imagino que variara levemente lo que sea segun la calidad de agua pero es mejor esperar a que aparezcan sin alimentar o estar dando fertilizantes/estimulantes leves y la carencia tomarle como señal que hay que darle mas comida, especialmente si pueden identificarlas acorde a su propio conocimiento. mi fertilizacion fue top veg, top bloom, top candy, barrier , hesi boost, calmag 2.0 de bac. razon de siempre - no es lo mejor de lo mejor pero es lo mejor que uso relacion precio/calidad porque les doy como chancho. regulo ph con acido citrico , no se mide ec, la temperatura si de hecho al agregar un nuevo termohigrometro descubri que tenia unos puntos ciegos donde no circulaba el calor y quede pal pico mi sistema big dick energy quedo destrosao en eficiencia, pero la tecnica de acumular ventiladores como enfermo, pudo sopesarlo vagamente , mi luxometro es precario pero efectivo , se llama esta wea se vuelve tan instintiva que podria identificar con mis ojos llenos de semen la elongacion causada por carencia de luz y señales de exceso de luz y consiguiente masa calor que genera como cogollos y hojas blanqueadas, resequedad ambiental , y en algunos casos todo esto conlleva a crecimientos deformes dejan de ser tiernos como el fox-tailing.
9x weno, hubo una seleccion media charcha porque puse mas a germinar pensando que no me saldrian tantas pero como de 12, estas fueron como las mejores 9 o una wea asi, criterio de seleccion nivel la lista de schlinder, y weno,las macetas con las que comence fueron pot on pot premeditando su utilidad, luego la generica de 11 lt como tambien asi la luz se incremento y redujo para prevenir momentos que estuvieran a un parametro superior a 28c porque es mas facil reducir el calor que genero que extraerlo en este sistema precario y posiblemente canero, pero que se le puede presentar a mas de una persona , porque el calor ambiental q deben contrarestar puede ser un aliado o enemigo en muchas situaciones de la vida, como este pais presenta un calor extremo en el norte y un frio extremo al sure, imaginense las weas que uno hace por amor a la droga ctm incluyendo lo que los leen desde otros gulags , ser un dimmer humano weon simp por y para de la mota - lo digo por mi y por todos los que sigan leyendo a estas alturas xdddd .
intente reusar una malla anterior para tambien prevenir que los cogollos cuando se elongen le peguen al foco y se quemen feo , una de scrog formal puede cumplir el mismo proposito si no tienen intencion de llenarla c:, las plagas son muy poco presente , lo unico que hago ahi es meter barrier debe en cuando en el riego, pero en flora no usaria foliar alguna cosa a menos que fuera una situacion briyida como hongos, que aqui tambien aqui en este espacio reventao, enganchar un hongo o plaga te hace piko altoke. cuidense chamos akakkakakaak

Let’s Go Day 67 from seed !! So this week went real great! 2 Ogreberrys an Bruce Banner started getting flushed! The rest will follow up and start flush next week ! Today the 3 will continue getting flushed while the 3 others get there dose of nutrients, PHd at 6.5! Let’s grow lil ladies let’s grow!!! I will not be giving the plants any lights before harvest. I will give the plants 3 days of darkness with temperatures of 55 to 60 degrees f, to shock the plants and help finishing off of there Tricoms. I will harvest then.

Bien, bien, esta cepa va muy bien, siete semanas de vida y uno desde el paso a floración, buen consumo de agua y compactación, gran fortaleza en tallo y ramas, todas las cepas sativas que cultivo esta temporada me parecen que crecen lento, pero queda mucho por delante.🤸♂️🕺
Para combatir el gran aumento de la humedad relativa y la aparición de hongos, en el periodo de oscuridad estoy reuniendo los once cultivos actuales en una habitación con un des-humificador, manteniendo una humedad relativa durante ese periodo, alrededor del 55-60%. Mañana voy a hacer una aplicación foliar con azufre soluble para las plantas jóvenes, y para otras dos que tengo comenzando la floración voy a aplicar cola de caballo foliar, para prevenir oídio con ambos productos.
También, esta semana de días muy nublados, mantengo todas las plantas con 12h de luz interior, si vuelven días soleados, volveré a sacar mis plantas un par de horas a tomar, la gratuita e inimitable luz de sol.

Séptima semana desde que comencé la nueva temporada de cultivos, después de un breve descanso, una semana donde me cuestiono, una vez más, el sentido de estos diarios semanales en GD...
Después de más de dos años publicando mis cultivos orgánicos, aprendiendo, compartiendo, incansable, conocimiento, fórmulas y técnicas, escribiendo desde la emoción y la euforia del eterno aprendiz, sin apología, intentando al tiempo, amenizar con mis anti héroes y memes, perdedores que han tenido la oportunidad de expresarse con libertad, tal vez, porque yo soy uno de ellos, o todos! 👨🚀... todo bien! ha sido divertido y me ha permitido estructurar mejor mi experiencia... pero estoy cansado!!
La deriva que observo en GD no me gusta, el esfuerzo gozado antes, se ha convertido poco a poco, para mi, en vano y fútil, yo he buscado el conocimiento y compartirlo... ¿Hay alguien ahí?, he mantenido la independencia frente la industria del fertilizante soluble, orgánico o de síntesis química, y sus tablas predeterminadas de nutrición, me he resistido a algunos patrocinios... porque, algunos, piden más de lo que dan!😯 y ahora me encuentro como Simón en el desierto, pero, aun así, prefiero mantener mis diarios de cultivo limpios y libres de polvo y paja... ser o tener!!
Hay una tendencia, o mejor, carrera por los "me gusta", en la que yo también he participado, que mayormente está relacionado con los patrocinios, y también con aquellos, que a falta de otras cosas, quieren ganarse el cielo en GD... ¿Cuántos gurús habrá el mes que viene?... y el próximo? Habitualmente, recibo "me gusta" de desconocidos, a viejos comentarios de aquí y de allá, también mensajes amables en mis diarios de cultivo, pero serializados la mayoría, obviando cualquier contexto... todos a la espera de reciprocidad, y así me he comportado hasta ahora con este asunto, pero observo que esto lleva a una pérdida de autenticidad y hasta una perversión del sistema, porque creo que el interés ya no pasa por los diarios de cultivo. Yo por mi parte, no voy a devolver ningún "me gusta" descontextualizado o sistematizado, sea en mis diarios o fuera de ellos, agradezco y animo la comunicación entre cultivadores, y yo estoy siempre abierto, con entusiasmo, a compartir mi experiencia con quien lo desee.
En cuanto a mis diarios de cultivo, voy a ser mas críptico, a ver si consigo rescatar algo de tiempo y energía para hacer otras cosas y acabar los diarios de cultivo en curso.

For my medium and nutrients I decided to also switch things up from my regular Organic runs, going with Plagron Nutrients and Root Royale 70/30 Coco/Perlite. When filling the fabric pots with medium, I first added just under a gallon of horticulture perlite from Nor-Cal as a base layer to ensure good drainage and then filled the remainder with the Root Royale.

Weekly Updates:
12/6- Week 5 of flower... Here we go! All three Strawberry Gorilla's continue to flower away with the #2 pheno still in the lead and looking the best of the bunch. The other two phenotypes have struggled constantly, but nevertheless have survived and I'm curious to see how they'll turn out when finished!
I'm continuing with running the AirCube reservoir for 5-6 days between drain/refill, only topping off with well water and checking/adjusting the PH. The beginning strength of the added Plagron nutrients is 800ppm, and over the course of the 5-6 days it has only been dropping approximately 150ppm's.
12/8- Yesterday I removed the other three plants that were growing in this run with the Strawberry Gorilla's to get finished up. Now the ladies are only sharing the nutrient solution with each other, which hopefully will have positive results... time will tell.
I'm continuing to monitor the AirCube reservoir, maintaining the solution level and PH twice daily. I have the HLG 650R set to 100% output now and have it hung 28" above the canopy.
12/10- Yesterday I went through the #1 and #3 plants and removed a bunch of shade leaves that were either blocking light or were damaged looking. The reservoir is beginning to stink so, tomorrow I'll be doing a drain/clean/fill on it which I'm sure the plants, and my nose will appreciate!
12/12- Now that I have removed the other three plants from their pots, I went ahead and pulled the #3 plant and placed it in the center empty pot giving everybody way more room to spread out. After moving the #3, I did some more LST on all three plants.
Well there goes the 5th week of flower for the FastBuds Strawberry Gorilla's. They're 8 weeks since breaking ground and have a good 3-4 weeks to go before they're finished.

Questa settimana flush!! ..abbiamo fatto girare l'impianto con solo acqua osmotica a ph 6.2, siamo giunti al termine di questo ciclo, tra qualche giorno raccogliamo e attendiamo la fase di seccatura delle cime per gustare finalmente il prodotto e stabilire la qualità il risultato finale!

All is running smoothly. Upped calmag and started feeding tiger bloom. A few yellow leaves on bottom every couple of days. Will be doing a heavier defoliation this week.

THURSDAY 12/20:
Delilah isn't recovering much at all...guess she'll end up in the trim bag for e-liquid...so sad.
Dominique is a crispy critter too, but her trichromes are about half cloudy now, so she'll at least finish. I'll give her nutes at least once more with Cha Ching, then start flushing her.
FRIDAY:
The new evaporative cooler is working pretty well in the tent. High temp was 84f with it running on medium and with ice in the reservoir. That's a win. I suspect that when I need to run the other two 85w bar lights it will be pushing 90f again unless I run it on high. RH is is staying between 38% and 45%, which is another win!
SATURDAY:
I fed both DD's about a gallon of full-strength bloom nutes. Not sure how Delilah will like it..but it would be nice to see a little yield from her, too...
SUNDAY:
Photo session...Dominique is actually starting to "pink" a little bit..not the deep dark I had hoped for, but sexy just the same. Delilah didn't freak out on the nutes yesterday..I'll watch for the leaf production to diminish and the calyx production to intensify...🙏

Je suis toujours aussi content et Émerveillé devant mes Fifilles elles grandissent tout les jours j'ai vraiment hâte qu'elles arrivent à terme en espérant qu'elles seront magnifiques.
J'ai perdu deux petites fifilles c'était les plus petites (5cm) de haut. Je pense que c'est quand je les est rempoté j'ai dû cassé la tige 😑.

D65: Tried taking some pictures with the macro lens. I'd say the majority of the trichromes are cloudy with some still clear and the occasional amber ones. Will keep track of the evolution.
D70: Buds keep getting bigger, the main cola is starting to look like one big, consolidated bud. Trichromes remain mainly cloudy, with some still transparent and some amber ones. Also gave her a flush (10l), since I think she'll be ready for harvest in at most 2 weeks. Next watering, I might add molasses a last time. Smell is strong and really sweet, reminds me of vanilla a little.

She hermied on us so this may be the last time we plant an unknown seed indoors, this set us back about 3 weeks. ..we plan on putting all of this plant towards edibles ..This wasn't a total waste imo..we learned a valuable lesson on taking unnecessary risks :)
